PodSearch.io started in 2024 when our founders, frustrated by the inability to find a specific conversation they had heard in a podcast, decided to build the solution themselves. What began as a weekend hack project quickly grew into something much bigger.
We realized that millions of hours of valuable content — interviews with experts, in-depth discussions, educational material — were essentially invisible to search engines. Traditional podcast search only covers titles and descriptions, missing 99% of the actual content.
Using state-of-the-art speech recognition models, we transcribe podcast episodes and build a full-text search index that lets you find the exact moment someone said something. Whether you're a researcher looking for expert quotes, a journalist fact-checking a claim, or a curious listener trying to rediscover a conversation, PodSearch.io helps you find it in seconds.
