Well, Indy, it seemed like a lot of what you told us in the pre game is what your team
did.
They came out.
They played hard and did a lot of the things you talked about.
Yeah, that we got off to a great start.
Skated really well, moved the puck well.
I got the support of the puck well coming out of this zone led to a lot of good opportunities.
We got around net front where, you know, tip goal and a lot of great opportunities inside
the game.
Not players were the best players on the ice.
Dolly and Norris tops and gets a goal on me just how dominant did a failure line up
was in the game?
Well, you know, when you look at opportunities, there's a lot of nights to get a lot of
good opportunities.
You don't take advantage of that.
In Florida, we had a lot of good ones, the two on ones we gave.
You know, we didn't we didn't generate a lot.
I thought tonight we made some good plays and then we put them in the back in the net,
which, you know, early on really put them in a bad place and they tried to press a little
bit.
And then we caught them.
We got on the other side of them and created some even better opportunities.
Luke, and it had to make some good saves early for you when the game, before you guys start
scoring some goals, he came up big.
For sure.
You know, I put in the category that, you know, it was kind of a, a silent really good game
by him.
You know, at the same time, you know, you're looking at all the goals being scored.
But he made a couple of key saves and key times that, you know, a lot of us keep rolling.
Do you have to remind the players that, hey, it's five-nothing, they're going to come
after you.
Stay out of it.
You don't need to engage in a five-nothing game.
Yeah, well, we don't want to lose anybody.
And, you know, sometimes the game like that gets a little bit of what we saw.
You know, some penalties you don't like seem being taken.
But I thought, you know, Osslin stepping in for dolls was a great thing.
The guys hung together.
There wasn't anything really egregious, it was just, you know, one pissed off team trying
to show that they're still going to try to care inside the game.
Then you certainly, your group talked a lot about that previous game here in the last couple
days, and it seemed like that the way you played in this game.
You know, you're going to see them twice more, but it's quite a statement, isn't it?
Well, I mean, it's one game.
I thought, you know, we let one slip away here the last time we were here.
We talked about that as a group, and we knew we'd have to be ready.
Back to back, it was a challenge, but I thought, you know, the week became
out and skated.
We put them on the heels right away.
It's fine for you as a coach.
I mean, that's us here to kill plays and play defense, and he gets a couple of points,
you know, shows a little bit of offense that kind of fun for a coach to see him rewarded.
Yeah, I mean, he made some great plays.
I mean, even four and four, he had two great opportunities to get another one.
But the goal he scored was a heck of a goal, so I'm happy in here this time.
I mean, you look at last night, you know, Malone's single, you look at Matta tonight chipping
in.
You always like to see those guys.
So the guys in the bench love it when those guys get on the board.
