Everyone is accountable and take care of each other.
It just speaks to the closeness of the group you think?
Yeah, yeah, I would say.
Everyone, even though I'm not the biggest guy, I still want to stand up on my team at all, yeah.
And you, like, it was kind of a fight, like, what do you, do you drop one ball of the ball to?
Yeah, I just, I wasn't really planning to fight him, I was just trying to step in,
give him a cross check or something and then I saw, so I'm dropping his glove, so,
I didn't, I just reacted and threw a punch and it was respectful from him, not because he had
me pretty good and could have, yeah, got to me with a couple, I think, so it was very respectful
from him, too. Yeah. How much respect did you get from your teammates after you did that?
Because they noticed things like that when a player comes in and maybe does things that maybe
isn't in their nature. And what was it like? What kind of respect did you get from your teammates
when they see you do that and see you ready to stick up for your captain?
Yeah, I think everyone, it's something that happens to me, I want someone to
just stick up for me, too, so I just think that's how everyone wants to get treated and,
yeah, everyone, what's, what's happy that I did it to?
Rasmus happened his friend from Sweden helped him out?
Yeah, probably. Yeah, that was, that was a good one, yeah.
He always talks about, I mean, when Ruzan was up here, I remember him talking about, he was,
yeah, it's nice we have these two young Swedish guys doing pretty well there.
Talk some Swedish, Swedish, it's never wrong.
It's going to be like in here tomorrow. You guys haven't been home in a month,
you just won three in on the road, the banners are out for stage, the ceremony for stage,
I mean, how different and wild an atmosphere might it be in here?
Yeah, I think it's going to be a really cool atmosphere, I think it's going to be,
it's going to be loud, we haven't been home in a while, so it should be a fun game tomorrow,
I know you're probably watching, we're disappointed that Sweden didn't beat the United States,
of course you wanted Sweden and Rasmus to win, but you also got to see Tage go further too,
what was that like, well, Sweden can't get there, but Tage did, what was that like?
Yeah, it's really happy for him, I mean, he played great and such a cool experience,
so I'm happy for him, but of course I want to, I want to sweet him to, to bring him home,
but it's cool for Tage and he's earned it, yeah.
Rasmus in that tournament, watching him play in the Olympics, what was that like,
seeing him play for your country?
Yeah, it was cool, it doesn't happen too often with the best on best, so it was cool seeing him,
and I thought he was probably the best player on team Sweden, so he's really good.
Lifetime, how much have you played for the national team?
Yeah, it's been a bunch of tournaments during the junior years, and yeah, two or
years, two, so it's been a couple of times every year.
What's it like when you pull that Swedish jersey up over your head and put it on,
it has to be a different feeling, isn't it?
Yeah, it's super cool, I mean, playing for your country and
trying to battle for the country, it's huge and something I want to keep on doing.
Why were you able to beat Tampa the way you did?
That is the, well, it was the hottest team in the NHL, along with you,
and they're the best team in the Eastern Conference, and you guys basically blew them right out
of their own arena. I mean, what were the things that you guys did as a team
to able to accomplish that and win the game the way you did?
Yeah, I think the start was huge, being ready from the start, that's coming to a back-to-back.
The stars can be a little bit tough sometimes, but that was something I felt.
We were ready to go from the start.
The line you're on, you're on the wing. I know you'd rather play center,
but you do find on the wing and you're with Norris, and what's that line been like so far?
And what kind of things do they do that maybe helps you to make the line a good line?
Yeah, it's a great line. I love playing with them to really good players, and
I want to contribute to, with my playmaking, make plays, and be reliable in the D-zone too,
so I think we're all good two-a-players, so I'm trying to stick with that.
I'm hopeful that both you and Josh are centers, so maybe the first guy back and take the middle.
It doesn't necessarily have to be Josh. If you're the first guy back, you can do it.
Yeah, that's something we talk about, and something we feel confident in, that the first guy home
plays lower, and I'm comfortable with it, and he's comfortable with it, so it's all good.
Are you feeling you had to block that shot? I know you're limping for a bit, did you just have to
walk it off? Yeah, I want the sting, sting pretty good, but it's better today and it was a good one.
