President Trump said it only took days to deal significant blows to Iranian forces.
Iran's drone and missile capability is being utterly demolished.
And he reiterated that the war could end soon.
That's going to be finished pretty quickly.
But just hours earlier, the Pentagon posted on X,
we have only just begun to fight.
Trump was asked to clarify the confusing messaging.
Well, I think you can say about the beginning.
It's the beginning of building a new country.
Trump offered new details to explain why now is the right time to attack Iran.
They were going to take over the Middle East and they were going to try and destroy Israel.

Not in New York City, CBS's Jerika Duncan has new details on what authorities call an
ISIS-inspired case that has two teenagers in custody.
Federal authorities say Amir Balant and Ibrahim Kiyumi were inspired by ISIS
when Balant threw homemade bombs into a New York City crowd Saturday.
The attack happened during an anti-Islamic protest outside the residence of New York City's
first Muslim mayor, Zoran Mamdadi.
The suspects are accused of driving from Pennsylvania with two improvised explosive devices
made from duct tape jars containing screws and bolts.
Authorities say preliminary analysis shows at least one of the devices contained TATP,
a highly volatile substance.
According to the criminal complaint, Kiyumi said he watched ISIS propaganda,
Balant made a chilling statement after his arrest.
He had hoped to carry out an attack even bigger than the Boston Marathon bombing,
which he noted resulted in only three deaths.
