070: "Creativity In Hibernation + Happy New Year!" - Inspired Action Minisode

As hard working, high achieving businesswomen, the idea of taking our foot off the pedal and just being still can feel alien. However, we need this balance in order to move forward with renewed vigour.

This week I talk about ease and being kinder to ourselves.

The week before Christmas I just wasn't feeling it - I felt unenergised. Instead of accepting this feeling, I began to doubt my commitment and worry about what I wasn't doing. I worried that I wasn't good enough if I wasn't doing those things.

Maybe you've felt this for yourself?

I had to have a really tough talk with myself. 

We have all gone through phases of low and high energy and STILL gone on to achieve, so why doubt this will happen again?

It's OK to go through a hibernation phase this winter. There's a LOT going on in the world and spending time with our families is essential to regroup and renourish ourselves ready for the new year, so we have the energy to take us forward.

As a creative - and YES, coaches are creative too! -  you need time to rest and absorb ready for your next burst of inspiration. 

Sometimes we need to take some time to be still so we can rise into a time of full action.
