Find a comfortable seated position or lie down if that feels right for you today. Take a slow deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely, and exhale slowly through your mouth, letting your shoulders drop away from your ears. Again, deep breath in, fill up, and release.

Let go of whatever you were doing before this moment, and let go of whatever you have to do after. Bring your attention to the physical sensation of your body touching the chair or the floor beneath you. You are here, you are supported. There is nothing else you need to solve right now. Now, bring your awareness to your mind.

Notice how fast it might be running. Recognize that a busy mind is not a broken mind. It is simply a tired one doing too much work. Imagine sitting in an open field, looking up at a vast blue sky. The sky represents your natural state of mind. Calm, infinite, and clear.

Every thought, worry, or to do this item popping into your head right now is just a cloud passing through that sky. Some clouds are small and light, others are heavy and dark. As a thought appears, do not pull it down. Do not argue with it. Simply label it, thinking.

Then, watch it float across the blue sky and fade away. You are not the clouds, you are the sky. Bring your focus back to the simple rhythm of your breathing. No need to control it or force a pattern. Just pay attention to the natural rise and follow your chest.

With each slow exhale, imagine releasing the physical tension held in your face. Your jaw, and your shoulders. Allow your belly to soften completely. Feel the air moving smoothly into your nose, close, cool, and fresh. And out through your mouth, warm and releasing.

With every full exhale, your body receives a clear signal that you are safe. Come and in control. Let your heart rate naturally settle. Let the physical body lead the mind into deep quiet.

Allow your breath to continue flowing in its natural, effortless cadence. Notice the new sense of space inside your mind. The mental noise has quieted down, leaving behind clarity, presence, and quiet strength. Take this sense of space with you into the rest of your day. You can return to the clear sky whenever things begin to feel demanding.

Begin to bring gentle movement back to your physical body. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Take one final deep, refreshing breath in. And exhale fully. When you are ready, gently open your eyes. You are focused, clear, and ready.
