1:17Matt LaFlor was at the podium yesterday. Jonathan Ganon, Adam Stenevitch and Cam A. Corrid will be at the podium today. Discussed a lot of different things about the Flurry yesterday. Including the turf. There's Matt LaFlor talking about Sunday nights Wisconsin Notre Dame game. And his feelings about what it might have done to the pristine grass of Lambo Field. That was cool. That was pretty cool. The atmosphere was electric. That was sort of been a closer game, but it kind of got away in the second half. But yeah, it was pretty cool. I just didn't love all the wear and tear on the field, but it is what it is. Let me check the yellow. I'm sure Alan's out there right now getting it in tip top shape. Alan Johnson, who is in charge of the Packers Fields, is what he's referring to.

2:21It did seem like there were a lot of guys slipping, which I don't think is uncommon on a late summer, early fall, evening at Lambo Field. And this is why you would always talk about the importance of the right cleats, right? Because it did appear that things were a little bit slippery. In fact, Colton Bartholomew of the Wisconsin State Journal, with a retort from Matt LaFlor. The amount of players slipping would suggest the field wasn't some pristine slab of grass. Do you like that line? Is that funny? Is that supposed to be funny? Pristine slab of grass is a pretty good line, I think. Yeah. You know that, and make you chuckle pristine slab of grass? No, I mean, I thought the field was in great shape. And if you don't know which cleats to wear, that's kind of on you. Like, if you want to go with the molded and you have it where you're not going to dig in, it's kind of on you.

3:26I didn't notice that there was a ton of slipping. There was some. Obviously, the one in the corner got beat. He slipped a little bit. But for the most part, I think the field isn't great shape. And if you played a sec, somebody brought up, I think it was you, Jason, the second preseason game. It's the same wear and tear. They didn't even have to. And they have two weeks and change almost three weeks to get the field and dialed back up. I understand. You're always wanting to protect what you're doing. And they don't let people on the grass. That's all great. But no, I thought the field conditions. I didn't hear a ton of players and coaches complain about it from either Wisconsin or Notre Dame. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see that. I would, I just don't think that it was that big of a deal in terms of significant. But I did see guys slipping. It's not. I've certainly seen a lot worse in games in August and September.

4:27So I didn't think it was that big of an issue. And I, to Towsh's point, I don't think they're going to have any trouble having the field ready for that Thursday night game against the Atlanta Falcons in a couple of weeks. There were a lot of the clock was being kept on the field, which what happened on that? There's a car ran into something. Do we know what happened? It wasn't weather. The rumor was there was a student who drove into what do they call the box parking lot. Transformer. Yeah, somebody drove into a transformer earlier in the like we hours of the morning. And so there was a big power outage early in the day on campus. And then it continued to impact the stadium as they got ready for the game at night. Yeah, Optimus Prime would have been better. All right, question one. Chad. Severe weather. Why were big on these delays here for the first questions. Severe weather led to a nearly two hour delay to the start of which highly anticipated college football game on Saturday.

What did Rob Demovsky do? He identified strengths and concerns Biggest strength and biggest concern for the Green Bay Packers this year. How would you answer that guys?

20:55What do you think is the biggest strength of the Green Bay Packers and what's the biggest concern? For the Green Bay Packers entering the 2026 season town show and go first I'll go Yeah, I'll go first the biggest strength is gonna be safety play I think that we will have the best safety group in the entire NFL I don't know what Rob ended up saying not that I've not read it yet And as far as the biggest concern it's been fairly obvious to me I've been saying it all off season throughout training camp. It's the offensive line They don't know and I listened to some of LaFlore. I don't know who who put the His audio or his clips from yesterday's Press availability out, but they don't even know what they're doing yet as far as if the Z-Box and An old boy are gonna be playing It's just it's I don't think anybody feels great and then you compound it with it's a road game against the defense That's gonna be super aggressive that has to be at the top of everybody's concern list. I would agree on bull Aaron

22:00Banks he was up. I saw him up at a tailgate Nice How's he moving? Gingerly, no, I didn't see I saw a video of him. I was obviously at our tailgate I didn't sure I don't think he came to our tailgate I saw videos of him and Mike Goldic Jr. and everybody else So that means he's you know probably in a good place if he's out tailgate Maybe all right Well, we agree on our on the biggest strength and biggest concerns From our perspective safety is the biggest strength and the offensive line is the biggest concern Rob Demovsky disagrees with us on both counts Rob Demovsky says Jordan loves connection with his past catchers is their biggest strength And their biggest concern is can they survive without Josh Jacobs and Micah Parsons to start the season I would say that's a valid concern

23:01And I think it's a valid I think the Micah part of it is concerned The Josh Jacobs news with moving the court case up and everything else it feels as if that's an indicator of what is gonna end up happening Which who knows I'm not gonna be in the legal prediction business. I'm not on law and order But that's a pretty good omen to me that things are gonna get resolved here in the next couple weeks Someone who is in the legal prediction business and has knowledge of The process our teammate Mark Chamura this morning on Jen gave in Chewy His opinion is that this has been moved up and there's going to be a plea agreement that will be reached and That will lead to a six-game suspension for Josh Jacobs which would mean that he would be out potentially a little bit longer than they expect Micah Parsons to be out But in theory they would have both of them

24:04In time for week seven so that to Taoist's point as he mentioned last week they moved Josh Jacobs preliminary court appearance up to Thursday I also read that he had filed paperwork that make it so he does not personally have to appear in the courtroom Which I thought was interesting that as part of the process I guess I did not know that But if that were to be the case and they were to reach some sort of an arrangements The NFL could then suspend him and then we would have some Clarity on when he won't will or will not be available I don't know if that's gonna happen this week or not, but right now he's on the commissioners Exemplist I did want to touch on this though because I Thought it was interesting that that Rob chose the connection between love and his past catchers Last season he had too many mouths to feed so they streamline the receiver room and it appears to have helped love to develop chemistry with his top receivers

25:12Christian Watson Jaden Reed and Matthew Golden throw in tight and Tucker grad Tucker craft and love should be able to thrive Packers haven't had a one thousand yard receiver since Devonte Adams last season or last season 2021 They may have one or two now do you believe the Packers will have one or two one thousand yard receivers this year? Yes And I think well one of them will be a tight end, but yes, I think Tucker craft is gonna have a monster year And then I do think one of those three guys Will be right around a thousand.
