I
I swear I've heard the dulcet tones of Mark Towscher singing along with Matt Karney in my ear
The 10 o'clock hour of Wilde and Towsch begins are we sure we could play that that's this has to be all right
I think we've covered this. I think Jesse Mutes it at
On the YouTube so they don't hear it because we do pay
For people to be able to hear that on the radio and the stream and everything else, but so he
Are you giving a little bit to the terrestrial radio audience and
Obviously, you know, I love that and I'm people love his music. All right, so
I don't know how many people love Rashon Gary, but I don't know how much they love his contract his 2026
Base salary
is
$18 million
Okay, his cap number that's a that's a very nice number for a really good starting D if that's if that's what it 18 millions
very reasonable
For a starting
stud
Dean, but is he a starting stud Deand that's a question. I'm just I'm just stating because you said 18 millions blowing people's minds
And to me, it's not continue his cap number is
28 million dollars
If they were to release him he would count 17 million and
Change against the cap so they would basically save if they released him outright
Didn't push it into 2027
They didn't bring him back. They didn't restructure him. They said thank you for your service, Rashon
We wish you the best elsewhere. They would clear almost
$11 million in cap space
Okay
Subtracting the dead cap from what he would count if he was still on the roster
So 11 million dollars. I think the only person that they save even more with by releasing
Is Elton Jenkins
Yep, which would save them almost 19 or around 19 million. So there you release those two players
You've created 30 million dollars in cap space bam boom
Release those guys and boom you got cap space. Here's a guy. We're not gonna play football for the Packers anymore
That's that's even better
That's a really good job. Just a nice job
So
What do you think happens here because here's what the the genesis was too fold for this discussion
One was the sweatshirt the sweaty hoodie on the ground at the finish line of the track wherever Rashon was working out the other
Was on Jen gave and shoot me this morning. Julie thinks they're gonna bring him back
He doesn't think they should but he thinks they're going to and
And I you know, I am always uncomfortable with the word delusional
I don't think that Rashon Gary was as bad as the statistic
Not pressures seven and a half sacks right which again. I don't know what
Goody is using there because the statistics that the Packers themselves put out had them at 48 pressures
Yeah, yeah
So
Which is roughly what 20% less than what Goody saying he had
He did go the final 11 weeks of the year
Without a sack you are not an elite pass rusher if you go I don't care
I understand sacks aren't the only way to measure
Success for a pass rusher, but you're not an elite pass rusher if you go 11 weeks without a sack
You just you're not right am I wrong to say that?
Like without any sacks none
Zero I think it's fair. Yeah, I think it's fair
so I guess
If they bring him back what is realistic to expect
And obviously he would have to agree to yeah, all right, I'm gonna accept this pick
I don't think this is as big of a gulch now that you say it the way you did okay 28 million
It's a big number but
Again if they give Rashan the opportunity to go out and look because if they're not going to pay him that
They would be more than happy to tell Rashan and his
Representatives go out and see who's out there. Maybe we could trade you for a third or fourth on pick. That'd be great
I don't know if that's what's going to happen, but Rashan and his team. I'm sure
Down at the combine we're dabbling around like well. I don't know did you pay him 20 million a year?
Because right now his base salary is 18
That's the that's kind of the floor
So if there's no team that is willing to pay him 18
All of a sudden he is going to be a lot more receptive to the packers overtures
On working out a new deal so that they can
Get another year from him at a lesser value with conditions with
Different incentives that can help alleviate a little bit of that loss
And everybody could be happy
So I understand where chewy is coming from
I think you'll listen to goody's comments and you didn't sense that he was
Like his glowing is maybe he has been with others, but and in fairness he did utter the phrase if he's with us
Next year, which he had not done with any of those other guys
Yes, I think that this is a no-brainer that it is not going to happen at this number
This would be something that would get redone and
In a much more team friendly way
And Rashan and his team have to look at and say do I want to do this here or do I want to go somewhere else because I also think
You brought this up with Micah Parsons post season stuff
It was fairly obvious to us that listen to that he's taking some shots
Yeah, at some of the other guys on this defense. I think he was he wanted
I don't know if he did admit to this mic is very outspoken. I hope his podcast keeps rolling
Use pretty up front that there are some guys
Didn't play enough snaps
Low snap count guys that we need more out of
And I don't know where that's at
If I'm Rashan Gary, I'm taking that as fuel and I'm saying I can I can be I'm as bad as best suited if I'm here
With a healthy mic on the other side
I'm not going to get more preferable matchups than that
And you have to look at this thing in a big picture way if you're Rashan and that's not always easy to do
When you bring emotion into it when the packers are going to tell you
We don't think you're worth this even though we agreed to this contract
X number of years ago
I am always leery as you know of not only trying to
interpret cryptic
Photo postings artistic work from players
But of who they're talking about when they don't mention someone directly
The quote that Towsha's referring to which by the way as
Chewie and Gabe pointed out on John Gabe and Chewie this morning when we're talking about Rashan Gary
Micah Parsons basically praised everyone except Rashan Gary during the second half of the season right
He's talking about LVN as his pet project talking about Kingsley and Iqbarae
the quote
Was this on locker cleanout
Us players are the ones that are playing the game the changes in the players. I challenged the guys today
Do more than what your jobs required
If you're in shape run more do more
If we got to play 80 snaps we play 80 beep in snaps
We shouldn't be tired doing that we got a strain
Come any plays we lost because we got out strained
Those things can't happen people can't outwork us
When your effort matches what you're trying to say in the locker room
Oh
Then it carries over more man
I
I dare people to beat me to the ball
You know what I mean
I'm running to the ball like my life depends on it and it does
My life depends on the outcome of how this team plays. I need you to want to beat me to the ball
I need you to want to beat me to the quarterback every play
Everything's a competition even with other teammates. We're still competing to reach the same common goal. Oh snap
Again
Sounds like targeting
That's pretty good line
I don't know who he's talking about there
80 what's the targeting what am I missing with the targeting that he was he was targeting
Roshan Gary is targeting
When you know, I love it. I just I want to understand when you throw a flag for targeting and say they were aiming at the guy who threw a flag
I think Jesse did yeah interpreters of I didn't see you threw a flag like this
I said sounds like targeting if you'd like me to be more demonstrative the next time
I want to use this catchphrase. I can throw a flag that's
No, but I go
I don't mind you doing that but Jason laughed like it was some inside joke that I should know I don't know it
I didn't talk to the inside joke. I thought I was pretty direct. I'm sorry. That's I don't get it
He was talking to Roshan Gary head hunting. I know but why does it sound like targeting sounds like I know
Because he never actually says who he targeted when you're talking about questioning guys effort and running and beating you to the ball
The plays that went viral for Roshan Gary this season where the ones where it looked like he quit mid play
Chasing down quarterbacks when Micah Parsons is right right down
Yeah, okay. I want to be crystal clear here the speech that Jason just read from Micah. It does sound is if he's calling out
Uh Roshan Gary. It does sound that way in that. Yes
I don't understand the targeting targeting is like a physical. I'm hitting you in the head
Like that's why this doesn't make any sense to me. I just want to get my head wrapped around yeah
I thought it was I know and I want to understand why it was clever because I don't disagree that it isn't clever
I just don't understand it. Okay. Are you
It's not literally a targeting penalty like head hunting. Oh, he clocked him though. If that's who he was referring to
He clocked him pretty good. It's targeting and he clocked him so much that we're all trying to decipher it
Continue Jesse as I want to know it's that you want to learn with the comments that you're not saying necessarily
directed at someone
Uh, yeah, it appears to be targeted at
commenting on someone's performance someone being Roshan Gary that's why I said it sounds like targeting
It be I don't get it. It's it's okay. I'm gonna move along because I don't want to get caught up and get circular
I'm not interested in circularness. I don't get it what I do get is
This tells me a lot that in Jason to your credit
You thought it was super interesting when Micah said it after the season and you said
Certainly felt like this was a Roshan Gary
There's a lot of criticism of Roshan especially with the way he finished the season
um
This reiterates to me how blank and awesome Micah Parsons was
Because that speech I mean he obviously nobody ever questioned his effort his greatness
No, he is a dog. He's a
You know, he's a closer. He's everything. He is everything that we wanted
When Brian Goudekun's pulled the trigger on that trait. It's been everything that we wanted
I think most of us will agree with that
And then the leadership component which let's be honest was questioned by his last owner
By his last owner. Yes, yes
That I don't think anyone
Including the how many owners do the Packers have 175,000? I don't think there's any of the 175,000 owners of the G&G
That would question that and that speech right there
Especially the way you were reading it you to thought this was a analysis library the way your energy was up
Whoo that made me that made you as a teammate say
Mm
Let's blank and go like that was great that needs to be that needs to be looped up when the boys get back for
OTAs
If I'm the Packers AV media staff that's rolling in that locker room when they're going to do their first workout
That's good stuff. Mm-hmm. Who does to you Micah?
Yeah
Again, I
I mean when you're targeting that entire locker room if I was the Packers what when you reference snap counts
when you reference
Beating me to the care the ball carrier or the quarterback
Again, I you know
I don't know if that's fair though. Micah's a lot faster than he has he makes a lot of I've and I've said that on this very show
The makes other people look a lot of people look slow compared to him, but
Again
During his time in green Bay I cannot speak to what Jerry Jones saw from him in Dallas or what
Cowboys fans saw from him in Dallas during his time in green Bay
We have seen nothing but maximum effort from him
From Micah Parsons
He set the standard last season now is that going to be the case two seasons from now
I don't I don't know
But this this did sound like he was
referring
Very much to one specific player
Whether or not he was or not he's got plausible deniability. I was just talking generally. I wasn't talking about anybody specifically
We all have to do this right
I don't know you would never you would never have done this
You would have never even implied where I could
Interview you and you were taught you could have been talking about Marco
and
I would have been like oh I think you might be talking but you would have never even come close to saying something this way fair
I would not correct
So again it makes you wonder
You know, maybe he was legitimately frustrated. I mean let's be clear
When Micah Parsons was lost for the season
The green Bay Packers never won another game
And the next man
The next man up mentality
In part
refers to when somebody goes down other people have to elevate their performance
and for
The sack less streak to continue from the other high paid pass Russia
That is an indictment of his performance. They needed more from him
And they didn't get more from him
That is all facts
so
again, I
There's a lot of interpretation going on here. I don't I'm not very comfortable when we get into those types of situations
But the fact of the matter is he did not elevate his game if that was something that
was frustrating
To Micah Parsons that would it would make sense that that was
Maybe what was going on there. All right
That
We can move on from Rashon Gary. I see some of the folks in the youtube comments
Are starting to get a little bit restless. So I will move on and tell you instead

On the packers off season
Our buddy Matt Bowen
Who we should have him on again
As free agency approaches. I was texting with him this morning because I had read
His uh piece on espn.com ranking the top 100
players available in free agency
Uh your guy Tyler Linderbaum
Is second on Matt's list
Tray Hendrickson is first
Um, by the way, Rashon Gary is going to turn 29 years old on December 3rd
I was looking that up during the break
Does that change in any way your opinion of whether you should
Bring him back on a restructured slash pay-cutted deal
No, I think if you can um
Get him back here and get rid of some of the dead cap that when you would release him next year
It would be worth it if you have to add any more dollars or do anything that will add on to
the
Dead cap hit when that happens you don't
So that would be how I would approach this but no if you
Think that he can give you
The production because let let's be honest. I know fans are really disappointed with how he finished
But depending on goody stats or the packer stats
There's those a lot of production that Rashon Gary gave last year he did he is he is the opinion of me
Sniff at 48 pressures or 60 pressures and seven and a half sex that is
There is value there and
So I know we can all sit here and delve on the last part of it and that's fair criticism no doubt
But it's not as easy as just saying oh go get 15 sex. Oh, how many guys do that?
Yeah, you know what this is Tosh
This is what you got after Rob Demovsky for though
Because you're paying premium
Dollars and while Rob may have said that what you get paid shouldn't factor in
Your expectations he was wrong right. I disagree with him as well
But this if if you got this exact same production
From Kingsley and Iqbaray on a rookie fourth or fifth round draft pick deal
It's a totally different narrative
This guy's out of 96 million dollar extension as a former first-round pick who went 11 games without a sack
So it those duplet and rightfully so if if fans are gonna look back on the AJ Hawks career and say
As the fifth overall pick he sucked it doesn't matter what you say because they are factoring in
His draft status and his contract and in Rashon Gary's case
Whether you like it or not and I know you and I are on the same page with this
That factors in you paid him to be frankly if he had played at the level of the contract you gave him
In October 2023 you don't have to trade for my comparisons
And you have up both of your first-round picks
This year and next year because he has elevated his game and he is a multi
Double digit sacked guy
But he's not he still is yet to have a double digit digit stack sack season
um
So all I just I just want to point out because yes
Money and how much you get paid factors in in a big way expectations matter
You're going to have higher expectations for certain people than others. That's just the reality of life
So if you don't want to live in reality, that's fine. You don't have to
I'm going to and the facts are Rashon Gary had a disappointing second half of the season
The Packers are not going to pay him what is due because of that
But I'm not going to sit here and just poo poo and say that he
Stunk and was it productive? Yeah, I agree with you he had production
But it's not at the value and by the way the NFL has a way
Of rectifying those things unlike a lot of businesses
The NFL will dictate what your market is off of the production and what they think you will be able to do in the future
Rashon Gary didn't help himself with the way finished the season
The Packers realize that other teams realize that and I think Rashon Gary will realize that
But to act as if he can't play a lick and he stinks and I mean it's always that's part of the problem with some of the NFL media
Is you're either a world beat or you stink. There's no boys good solid player
Good solid players that get paid a ton of money get a lot of criticism
That doesn't mean they're not a good solid player
Um, he's not he's not good is he good enough
That's 28 million dollars. No, no, not 28
If he's getting eight six million dollars, absolutely, he's good enough
If if you had to choose
All things being equal. I don't know what King's Lanark bar is market value is
You mentioned earlier that there are some teams that are reported to be interested in him sniffing around. Yep, little sniffing
Would you rather of Rashon Gary on this football team next year? Would you rather of King's Lanark bar?
King's Lanark bar. Yeah, me too
Uh, I want to get to Matt Bowen's piece because
um, he has two Packers in the top ten of his
Top 100 free agents and four Packers in his top 20
So 20% of the top 20
Cop picks. Love it
So we will get to that after Towsh tells us
Not about comp picks
But about prize picks. Oh, that's good Jason. That's really good. March hoops are here
And it is one of the best times of the year to be watching sports right now
Download that prize picks app use the code
And you're going to get 50 bucks in lineups when you play your first five dollar lineup again. That is code
Prize picks man. It is simple to play pick more or less on two to six player stats
picks are right you cash in and right now. I don't know
I mean you got every sport role in that you love. It's March
Beautiful time of the year to get in and there's a lot of flexibility flex play
Still get paid even if one pick misses you want a bigger pale good a power play
And with early payouts your player gets off to a hot start you can cash out before the game even it's
Download the price picks app today and use code WI
To get 50 bucks in lineups after you play your first five dollar lineup again. That is code WI
To get 50 bucks in lineups after you play your first five dollar on a price picks. It's good
To be right
Hmm
And Matt Bowen is usually right in his assessments of players will get to his column
Next, it's Wildean Towsh. This is Wildean Towsh driven by Zimbrick Chevrolet in Sun Prairie on
100.5 ESPN see their full inventory at Zimbrick Chevrolet dot com
So
So our buddy Matt Bowen with his top 100
Available players in free agency
And he has two packers in the top 10
And four total in the top 20
Towsh, would you like to work your way up from
The bottom of the top 20 or would you like to work your way from the top down?
Oh, let's go top down
Let's go top down
So he's got he's got Trey Hendrickson and your guy Tyler Linderbaum
Uh, Trey Hendrickson. I'm not sure how
I
Like I love Matty Bowen man. I do Trey Hendrickson missed a lot of last season
I think he's still obviously going to be a nice past russering. He'll be a nice fit for somebody
But I feel like the luster or the shine is off him a little bit
He did not do a lot last season. He was dealing with a variety of injuries and disgruntlement
Contract stuff
Played only seven out of 17 games. Well, I'll tell you what man
It is tough for GMs in this league you
It can't it's not just about money money obviously solves a ton of problems
But Trey is a great example of
Taken carry your guys
If they're your guys take care of them because
Do you feel like Trey was fully invested when you knew that the Bengals weren't invested? No
That's that and that's my point to everybody
And why I think goody should reevaluate
Some of these you know second contract guys
Because it is really tough to manage now college guys are getting paid
I just saw there's a basketball player that played at Kansas
I think his name is brawn last name brawn or bon
And he was just kind of telling he was doing a long form pod and he's had a nice NBA career
Like he's grinded out and he's made some money and and he said you know what man
Had and it may be correct. I apologize if I'm wrong if it was Kansas or what but if I had gotten a million dollars what I was playing in college
I don't think I'm grinded and getting to the NBA and playing it and I thought that was really powerful because that is interesting
There is something because when you're 22 23 you think a million bucks is the world
And for a lot of people you know, I don't want to poo poo that
But you just think about the times you have to fight through to get better to push yourself to get to this spot
Now these NFL scouts and GMs have to worry about
How much of this is love and how much of this is work and how much is it going to be
They have to worry about rookies
The same way they now do when you give big boy contracts out to people
And that's why when you know who you have in your building
And if they are about the right things
It might make more sense to pay a little bit more
Because you know then the devil that maybe you don't wear your mercenary in people and when things get a little bit
They're not there. I don't know if that makes sense, but it makes a ton of sense to me. It makes a ton of sense really good
Uh, I just wish we knew who this person was that was so astute in there. Oh, let's say it was born
Born
Christian is to look at for their Zach from Kansas. There's Christian Brown B. R. A. U. N.
He graduated a handful. Yeah, it could be oh, so brought a you any brown. He pronounces it brown B. R. A.
Oh, that's me. Okay. Thank you Jesse for that research. Yeah, that's it
Uh, so going back to the Packer's angle on this um
I don't know if he's gonna put Malik first
On the Packer's list or if it's gonna be Shido it's gonna be one of those two those are the two top 10
I'm gonna say Maddie B believes in
Oh, neither
Want you're you're right about one
But you're not right about who the other person is in the top 10. Uh, we will reveal that. I'm gonna say he's got Shido
He's got Shido in the top. You might be right
Uh, we'll reveal that after we tell you that there's some breaking news
From the NFC North
Oh, oh
The
Beardown
Chicago Bears
Uh, per
Diana Rossini and Tom Pelicero and Ian Rappaport and Adam Schaefter
See it just makes you wonder how these insiders get this information all the time. No, they get it from their agent
Uh, that's how they get it
Yeah, well played. Thank you
DJ Moore
Is a bear no more
Uh, he is being traded for a mid-round draft pick
To the Buffalo Bills
Oh
So the Chicago Bears pick up a mid-round pick
Uh, they will be obviously counting on Luther Burden
Uh, and Rome adunzay
Yeah, and then all those tight ends they've got with I don't know if come that'll be back or not
But they obviously love Colston, Loveland
Uh, who was ridiculed when they picked him by the ESPN Milwaukee crew led by Alex Stroff
But they are moving on from DJ Moore
And sending him
To Buffalo. Does that you think that takes dobs out of the Buffalo market then
Because that was where he was rumored to have the most interest after the combine
I do believe it takes dobs out of that market. Yes
So we will get to
The four Packers in Matt Bowen's top 20 coming up next
After I tell you about what Steinhoffels has got going on we were down in Milwaukee
And I swung by the Steinhoffels over on the Greenfield Greendale area just to check things out
Because you know we love Steinhoffels and they've been a great partner of ours
From the very beginning of this show and right now
I'm going to ask you a question Towsh
Let me ask you so I'm ready to answer
You spend more than
2500 hours a year on your mattress
So why are you still sleeping on something that's just okay
What are you doing? It's mattress madness
Woo! How many hours?
It's going to be 2500 hours a year. Is that right?
Well, if you sleep let's say you sleep eight hours a night. Yeah, okay, and there's 365 days
Or nights in a year
Yeah, it's about 2500 hours
So between six and seven hours a sleep each night would be 2500 over 365 days
Six seven. Yeah, there you have it
That's why you should check out mattress madness at Steinhoffels right now because now's the time
To upgrade. They'll help you find the mattress that actually fits you
So you wake up rested and ready and not salty
Or reaching for the snooze button three times and I know you're not a snooze button guy
All the best brands unbeatable prices free delivery and they're 120 night sleep guarantee so you can sleep on that
Uh on that new mattress for almost a thousand hours
And maybe you change your mind and you want to get something different. That's why they've got that guarantee
It's a win-win-win
mattress madness is happening right now. It's Steinhoffels shop in store or online
We will I promise get to the four Packers in the top 20 of Matt Boen's list next. It's will the intention
Brewers baseball is in the air
Fly ball deep left
Get going
Spring back into the baseball season on 100.5 ESPN
Medicines new home of the Milwaukee Brewers
You
Details continue to trickle out
On the DJ Moore trade and as Ian Rappaport points out
DJ Moore's most productive seasons came in Carolina
In 2020 and 2021 when the offensive coordinator was
Joe Brady the head coach now of the
Buffalo Bills. All right. Let's get to this list though. We keep
um
failing to get to
At number five in Matt Boen's rankings
Cheeto
Rashid Walker
The number five free agent in Matt Boen's top 100 list
Walker's past block win rate of 93.8% ranked 11th
Among 68 qualifying offensive tackles
His technique could still improve and he lacks a strong acre
But he has the footwork and mobility to match the speed of edge rushers at a premium position
Walker will see heavy interest
In free agency. He is going to be 26
Years old
Tosh
It's a pretty good player that's going to be walking out the door not a friend
He's not David Bakhtiari. It's pretty good football player not many are not many are yeah
I think Maddie Bowen
You know, there's a little bit and that's why it was interesting with Kurt Warner's comments in his analysis
Seems like he was walking it back a little bit because he took a little shrapnel
From some of his commentary on Malik
but
What a Ted Thompson
Was Brian Goudekunst what do all general managers say the hardest thing to find
Our big bodies that can move the good Lord only made some of the hardest people
That is the hardest thing for these guys and if you look at guys get injured you can never have enough
Good offensive lineman and there is a price to pay for that
And somebody's going to find that out is she don't going to be in all pro
I'm going to say probably not
But is he a really good steady starting offensive tackle in this league absolutely he is
and
Someone is going to get a very good football player and he's going to be a very motivated football player
So I think that that's
You know, it's awesome for a green Bay
They got four years at a very minimal amount of financial commitment
And they're going to end up getting a third round pick in lieu of continuing to keep Shido and they hope
Whom they feel is a much better athlete is going to be a stud out at left tackle
This is the dice roll that you play
When you're the when you're the green Bay Packers or teams yet. Don't know
You know what you're getting with Shido they think they can be better
We'll find out pretty early on next year if that is indeed the case
Uh, he as you mentioned earlier seventh round pick started 48 games in the regular season
Um, do you see any of you in Shido
I mean, I mean, we've received some
We played a lot of uh played a lot of football um both probably you looked at as
Maybe not as athletic to play the spot, but no outside of that Shido's a lot longer longer arms, you know
I don't know who could you know all of the other stuff, but you never played it on defeated season
Everyone I did not uh everybody finds their way and they find the way
What I think Shido has done a very good job and what I always tell
People that want to play for a long time find out what you're good at
And position yourself to getting that spot as many times as you can in a game
If you're in offensive lineman and you're good at punching and you're good at you know or if you're a good anchor guy
Whatever you're whatever your strengths are
Force that opponent to do that more than he wants and as many times as you can possibly get in that position
You do that. You're gonna have a nice successful long career
It's their job to make you uncomfortable. It's your job to make yourself comfortable
Words to live by that's really good at number 10
It is not Malik Willis
It is quay walker
Yeah
There seem to be some diverse opinions on quay walker in the free agency ranking space
among uh pundits and
You know i'm gonna be honest with you Jay. I'm gonna be honest with you because I think everybody sees his talent
He is a you know a high pit right a first-round draft pick yep 20 second and
If i'm an opposing
Team looking for a linebacker
I'm asking myself
Why don't green Bay want him?
Because everything's there physically the physical skill set is there
Why is green Bay not resigning him and keeping him as one of their core players?
I always tell you from green Bay standpoint
Why is that guy in the market because the players that teams love they don't get the market
They don't let them get there
And if franchise tag or they extend them earlier they do that
Teams are looking at quay and saying yeah, what a talent flies around you know
On the record he said he had an offer from the packers on the table in the fall
That's what I heard from an unidentified journalist that wanted to stay anonymous that host Wildean touche
Jesse
Hey, he called me a journalist the other day
Yeah, it's true. You're here. I said I think I said adjacent journalist right
I think you're a loosely termed journalist. Oh loosely. Yes, here's what
Maddie B said about quay walker walker's explosive traits
Create playmaking upside he can cover ground as a run and hit defender plus
He diagnosed the run game at a quicker rate in 2025 averaging 4.9 tackles on designed rushes per game 11th highest in the league
Overall walker at two and a half sacks eight tackles for loss and four pass breakups
I would say he never played at the level that you might have hoped for him
But he got his temper under control. He was durable
largely
And he he got better as his career went on
um
I wonder if he is going to be not to the same degree
But I wonder if he's going to be like Joe Shane's
Xavier McKinney
Where Joe Shane knew that he made a mistake letting McKinney out of his building
I do wonder if
two years from now
Will quay walker be a guy that we're sitting there going boy
They really should never let him get out of their building maybe not yeah
Maybe he just is what he is and what he's been so far
but uh
Xavier McKinney became more than what he had been in New York
With a change of scenery and I find myself wondering his way walker will say he was a pretty good player in New York
Though too he was he was a pretty good player
sometimes people just mismanaged and get um
Get an impression that they can't get out of and just like I think the Romeo Dobbs scenario is going to showcase
Hopefully Romeo goes on and can kind of get rid of that
Quay walker obviously the way his career started as you kind of said you know some of the
Meltdowns that he had
You always wonder how much of that sticks in guys minds when they're talking
Contracts like that stuff matters
Uh
Three walkers in the top 15 as Kenneth Walker is also in Matt Bowen's list and three Packers in the top 15 number 14 is Malik Willis
Malik Willis
With his dual threat traits and positive signs of development in Green Bay Willis is one of the top quarterbacks in free agency
In four appearances including one start last season he completed 85.7% of his throws
Rushed for 123 yards and scored four touchdowns. He'll be signed somewhere to start this march
And then the fourth Packer in the top 20 you mentioned him Jason. Do you believe whoever do you believe whoever signs Malik Willis is going to be really happy with
If they let's say let's split the difference here
Three years 75 million 40 guaranteed 25 million sure. Okay. Do you think the Arizona Cardinals are going to look back and say I was a beautiful signing or the dolphins or whoever or you get to say
Boy the Packers must really know what they're doing
Um
I am leery with him. I really like him. I really want him to succeed
uh
It is a small sample size like Kerr Warner took a lot of grief and 28 passes. Hope we can get him on
Yeah, I mean 20 true dropbacks that he was referring to not screen passes not etc
Um, it was interesting and I do I'm looking forward to talking to him
He he sounds like he's more than willing to come on as just matter of when but uh, he's right about the sample size
He just is
And I don't think it's a shot at belief
Uh, I think it's a fair question mark that said I think it's a shot it's a shot at Malik
That is
Well, it's because there's not a lot of evidence like he's not hitting the market with a lot of evidence
And frankly that could be good or bad right like
Daniel Jones hit the market when he was released by the giants and most he played a lot of football and it wasn't very good
In New York you want to play off you want to play off game? I know, but he
The and the Vikings had him in their building and didn't keep him there
Then he obviously ruptured as a kille's which ruined his season which was off to a really good start in Indy
So again, I don't I don't know what's gonna happen
I think of Malik goes to Arizona with Michael floor if he goes
Uh, obviously in Miami. They know him very well because it's green based south down there
uh, I think
I think it's going to be really situation dependent
And if Aaron Rogers or we're going to talk about briefly in the 11 o'clock hour
Uh, doesn't go to Minnesota and Malik Willis goes there. I will be very very very
Interested to see how that plays out
Uh, last so
Did what did you end up saying you said they're going to say I mean bay knows what they're doing
I I believe I never did because that's what I do here
Which I number number 19 which way would you go number 19 would you go on number 19 is Romeo dobs
Oh, you don't want to answer. Uh, I just don't I honestly don't know like I think if he goes to the right situation
Jason and if he goes the wrong situation, he's going to stink
That's the problem with playing quarterback in the NFL no blank
That's pretty good insight
Sounds like targeting
Malik Willis goes to a good situation. He might be a good quarterback somewhere
I didn't say might wow
Romeo dobs is at number 19 on the list from Matt Bowen
Dobs has the route running traits and foot quickness to uncover and he is more than willing to work the middle of the field
on in-breaking concepts
While the packers miss jaden read Christian Watson and Tucker craft over parts of last season
Dobs average 13.2 yards per reception and caught five of his six touchdowns on red zone targets
In short, he is a reliable pass catcher
I don't know what the expectations will be for him with whoever signs him
It'll be predicated how much they pay him he's gonna be he's gonna be a two
He's not gonna be a one anywhere. He's gonna be a two for somebody and will teams be happy with him
Is there number two?
How much are they paying him
Yeah, we'll have to wait and see what that number looks like for him
Those are Matt Bowen's four packers in his top 100 in the top 20
When it comes to
Legal representation when you've been injured in accident
There's only a top one of one and that's Gruberloff says one call that's all four one four two seven six
six six six six four one four two seven six six six six six six make the call
Towshe was at the game last night. What did I see 26,000 dollars
To the carbon cancer center at UW
From I think I sent that to you. You did that's exactly right. That's what I'm referencing
One of those giant checks being presented to UW Carbon Cancer Center from Gruberloff says sponsoring the charity stripe
Every time the badgers make a free throw at the coal center
They make a donation to the UW Carbon Cancer Center
We will kick off the 11 o'clock hour. I want to be on record. I was not gonna talk about this guy
Because he didn't really say anything yesterday other than that he likes Mike McCarthy
Huh, we all know we all know better than that. We know better. What was that huh
So it's hard getting you love Aaron Rogers. Let's just be honest about it. You do
And that's nothing wrong with that. You can't quit a big part of your life. You may not love him. I love Aaron. I can't part of my life
Yeah, you can't quit him. Just admit it
No, I was perfectly wrong. I was I was as you probably noticed you never want to talk Aaron Rogers. No
Come on now
Towshe's gonna tell me what I want to talk and what I don't want to talk next. It's will be a Towshe
Don't go anywhere. Another hour of will be in Towshe presented by pillow windows and doors of Wisconsin is coming up next on ESPN
Wisconsin and the ESPN Wisconsin app
