中古店で発見された「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」の8ミリフィルム。全三巻で30数分。その値段は当時4万円、今なら10万円超とも言われる超高級品。いったい誰が買ったのか？ マニアか、マニアが亡くなったのか？ そんな話から、高校時代に映画部だった自分のフィルム集め大冒険へ。企業を回ってスター・ウォーズを借り、自衛隊のPR映画まで上映した結果、なぜか翌日の新聞で話題になることに（笑）。昭和の映像文化と青春の思い出を語ります。
