17. The Conversation with Allan and Georgene Shalm

Thanks for joining The Conversation! We are thrilled to have long-time missionaries and friends of CCC, Allan and Georgene Shalm joining us on the Podcast today! The Shalms are veteran missionaries, having spent more than four decades on the mission field in various parts of Asia, namely Pakistan and Malaysia. In this current season, they base out of Ontario, Canada, and still travel extensively to bless the work of the Kingdom around the world.

From the time they were married in 1972, the Shalms knew that the mission field was where God would take them, it was just a question of when and where. After a season of Pastoring in Ontario, they were appointed as Missionaries to Pakistan in 1980, and that began what would become a storied missions career.

In the episode today, the Shalms discuss all things Missions. They recount their path into missionary work, they share stories of God’s power and provision, and they reminisce of their connection to CCC through the years.
