Today I am going to give you a loving kick in the pants. So, hey, brace yourself. It's about to go down. All right, so you started slow. This is what most people do. They start slow. And they think, oh man, I did it again. January, I didn't do anything. February, I didn't do anything. Oh my gosh, now it's March or April. And I still didn't do anything. Well, I know, I know what I'll do. I'll just quit. Man, that is the lamest thing ever. So let me tell you what you got to do. Forget about what you started, how you started slow and what didn't work out and the dishwasher broke and the car broke down and the interest rates happened and the credit cards happened. Well, the same thing happened last year. And the same thing happened a year before. Okay, but here's what I want you to do different this year. I want you to finish strong. Okay,
this is the thing that people do. They have a slow start, January, February, March, April, and then they quit. They decide, well, the years have gone already. So, hey, man, just forget about it. Just forget, man, game over is, you know, I keep doing the same things. That's why I don't set new years resolutions. Oh, stop it. This year, I want you to do something different for yourself. This year, I want you to do something different for your family. This year, I want you to do something different for your finances. I want you to do something different that you, you know, something you've never done for your business. And that is to finish strong. No more blame, no more feeling bad, no more pity patties, no more discouragement, no more overwhelmed, no more, oh my gosh, I can't believe I keep doing this and sabotaging myself. Let me tell you, you can get more done in six months than you have in the last six years if you rededicate yourself.
If you recommit yourself, if you just get back up and what they say, put your boot straps back on. I mean, you know, whatever it is, right? Put them boots back on, man, and get back up. Everybody stops. Everybody's, you know, gets discouraged. Everybody just takes and says, man, forget it. I'm just, you know, I guess I just wasn't cut out for this. Everybody has doubts, but not you, not anymore. You're going to take those doubts. You're going to take all those little sad feelings. You got to take them and dig a hole, okay? Barium. Because this year, the one thing you are going to do different is finish strong. That is a terrible pattern to start something. And whenever it doesn't work out, you quit. Now, I'm not saying that this is you, but it's most of us. We all do it. We all are guilty of that. And we get in our feelings. And we
all start having that little pity party. And so we say, well, we've already had the pity party. We've already came this far, man, as far as losing. We might as well go the whole rest of the year. Man, let me tell you something. I've been in situations where I've not wasted the whole nine months, but just been discouraged for nine or 10 months out of the year. And then I decided the last two months or three months to kick it in gear. And I get more done in two months than I have in, you know, two or three years. So it's never over my friend. Rededicate yourself to your goals. Finish strong. Don't use that old pattern. Don't do it to yourself ever again. That's no reason not to finish strong. Start it soft. Finish strong. Come on. Say it with me. I started soft, but I am going to finish strong today. Coach CJ, you're right. You're all right. I'm going to drive my eyes. And I'm going to come back. I'm swinging hard. I'm going to rededicate
to myself. And I'm never, ever going to have this pity party again for the rest of the year. And if I do, I'm just going to pick myself back up again. And I'm going to try again. All right. You know what happened. You started slow, but you will finish strong. Start soft. Finish strong. I should make a t-shirt with that. Have a great one.
