Article | America Out Loud News — 192 Democrats refused to condemn socialism. What does that say about the party?. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
Well, my friends, I think it's official. I believe that the Democrats have made it official. They are no longer the Democrat party. They are officially the Socialist Party, the Party of Socialism. They were commandeered by the Democratic Socialists of America. And now they've just dropped the Democratic name and they're just the Socialists of America. Now, this is okay. So they haven't actually done this in word.
But they have done it indeed. I've got the clips. We're going to experience the rising tide of Socialism in real time as it's taking place in one party in this country. And it's unfortunate, but we're here to be educated about it. I'm Dean Bowen. You're listening to the Dean's List on America Out Loud Talk Radio. You can find us here Monday through Friday, the 2 p.m. Eastern Time Slot or wherever you listen to your podcasts or on Substack. You can subscribe to the Dean's List on Substack. Some good stuff coming out on Substack as always. We'd love to have you join us over there. All right, Bill Mar. We've been enjoying a lot of Bill Marclips as of late. But you know what we like him because he doesn't. I mean, yeah, he's a Democrat,
but he's a traditional Democrat and he calls him out. So we're okay with it. And when he tends to call the right out, I mean, he's not wrong a lot of times. Sometimes he is. But a lot of times he's not wrong. And he certainly isn't wrong here when he's calling out the Democrats. All right, let's let's just jump into it. Let's roll the clip. So Democratic Congressman released an open pledge. They wanted their fellow Democratic members to sign. It said, we are capitalist, not socialist. We want safety, not lawlessness. We are proud not ashamed of America. Things should not be hard words for a congressional Democrat to sign on to. You know how many did? Eight. Eight out of a 212. Guys, really, there's got to be an easier way to lose the swing state. So, Jim, there's got to be a, there's got to be an easier way. Come on, fellas,
there's got to be an easier way to lose the swing state as a swing state. I mean, that's what you're after here, isn't it? You're after loser dumb. All right, let's let's look at the numbers here. Eight House Democrats joined the Republican majority just a few days ago to condemn socialism. This article here says eight House Democrats joined Republicans in condemning socialism and passed the Save America Act for election integrity. Roll call 289 passed 220 in favor of the bill to 192 against the entire 192. All Democrats. 20 members either voted present or didn't vote at all. The vote question on it agreeing to the resolution, providing for the condemnation and
demand and denouncement of socialism in all its forms. And for other purposes, 220 said yes, we condemn socialism and we denounce it. And then 192 said no. And they were all, they were all Democrats, every single Democrat, not a single Republican voted no, every single Republican voted yes to condemn socialism. The one independent, I don't know who that independent is in the House voted yes to condemn socialism. Several Democrats were stunned by the vote and defections by prominent members, including Marie Perez from Washington and Jared Golden from Maine. The vote was discussed all over social media a couple days ago and how the Democrat leadership
are reeling after they lost members on the vote. They could not keep their party unified here. This isn't a serious bill. Representative Josh Gottenheimer from New Jersey, who has a vocal moderate, who has clashed fiercely with his party's democratic socialist wing, is somebody told Axios this isn't a serious bill. If you actually want to take on socialism instead of playing political games, you don't slip in the Save America Act as a poison pill that you know no Democrat will vote for. Well, I mean, it's called the Save America Act. So of course, a Democrat's not going to vote for the Save America Act. This isn't slipping it in. This is hey, while we're while we're at it while we're saving America, let's condemn socialism. And let's let's see what happens. Let's see how many Democrats it's not,
that's it. This isn't a poison pill. It's pulling back to curtain. It's getting them to reveal who they are because they're not going to openly reveal it. So sometimes you have to you have to do these things to get them to let the people know, let their constituents know who they are. So, the reason why we're driving the news is the House is set to vote. So this was a headline before the actual vote. The House is set to vote as soon as Tuesday. The resolution condemns and denounces socialism in all its forms. The Democratic Socialists of America oppose the implementation. Oh, it's too opposed, or it's too opposed, the Democratic Socialists of America and the implementation of socialist policies in the United States. This was a quote from
driving the news. It also calls for the enactment to for the Save America Act, which is to increase public confidence in America's voting system, close loopholes in order to prevent non-citizens from voting in elections. And only eight Democrats climbed on board. Social media went on to describe how Republicans added the Save America Act to the anti-socialism legislation and how the eight Democrats joined Republicans on the vote. It's sure enough if you look at the language, you can see that the Democrats voted for the Save America Act that includes common sense laws like voter ID, the Castabalad in the United States, these lone eight Democrats, which I knew they were. Does this piece say who they were?
So that the bill condemns and denounces socialism in all its forms, reaffirms its support for free fare and secure elections and calls for an act of the Save America Act, reiterates that American elections are for American citizens only and recommits itself to upholding the U.S. Constitution. And only eight Democrats recommitted themselves to upholding the U.S. Constitution while they took an oath. They have to uphold it. They took an oath to uphold it. Sounds perfectly reasonable for any law abiding honest American here that you would, that this should have been a no-brainer. This should have been 100%. This should have been 100% yeas. If 512 to 0 or 412 to 0, what it should have been. However, Democrats are now outraged that they have members who went on the record to vote
for the Save America Act and who went on the record to vote to condemn socialism. How dare you break party lines? This is rare because normally the Democrats, normally they don't break party lines. Normally they are in line with one another, but eight of them. Eight of them said no, but we're not doing this. That is why you can never support the wickedness on the left. A vast majority of Democrats cannot even condemn socialism. They will about free and fair elections. Never forget who they really are. The Democrats here have always been on the side of evil it would seem. Am I wrong? They were on the side of evil during the whole slavery debacle. It was the Democrats
who pushed slavery down our throats, making it so that slavery was, they wanted it to be a thing and they pushed for it to be a thing. They were on the wrong side of history then and they're on the wrong side of history again. What's it like? I wonder to constantly be on the wrong side of history here. You've got eight of them who said, you know what, we disagree, we don't think socialism should be the thing. We don't think socialism should be the lead we don't think this country should become a socialist country. Oh, and by the way, we're going to reaffirm our oath to the United States Constitution. Oh, and also we should pass the Safe America Act. Only eight. What does that tell you? What does that tell you about the state of
affairs within the Democrat Party? And it's not just that it's not just at the top. It it seeps down into into the state's state leadership and we've got a governor here that's that's running on the Democrat side in Michigan. Jocelyn Benson, who was recently just smacked down by the Supreme Court because she doesn't want to get illegals off of the voter rolls and and Kavanaugh, you know, he's come along and he said, I'm no, no, Jocelyn Benson, we're not going to play this game. But yet she she's in a standoff right now with Kavanaugh because she would rather have
illegals voting and her party would would they're not in a place where they're going to condemn socialism. What does that tell you about the party? Tells me two things. Tells me number one, they're on the wrong side of history. They're on the wrong side of American history and they know it and the only way they can get votes is if illegals are doing the voting. So they they need to have illegals on the voter rolls because Americans don't want socialism. The illegals are okay with it. I mean, they're fine with it because they're well, they're clueless probably. They're coming from socialist countries and they're being promised, hey, you're going to get all this. We're going to make sure you get all this. You're going to get free this, free that, free the other, free free free free free. Just come over here and vote for us so we can make sure you get all the freebies because that's
what we're that's what it's all about. It's all about you guys getting the freebies. So come and vote and the Democrats know that this is their only way in. Their only way of retaining power and forcing socialism down the throat of everyday loving Americans is to cheat, to go about it in a very evil minded way. You can look back through history and look, I'm not saying if you vote for Democrat, if you voted for Democrat, you're evil. My uncles, God rest their soul as they were all good men. They weren't evil, but they voted for Democrats. I'm not saying if you vote for a Democrat, you're evil. I'm saying that the party is evil. I'm saying that the platform of the party supports things that are evil. This is the party that supported slavery. This is the party that
created the Ku Klux Klan. This is the party that loves abortion. This is the party that's all about killing babies. This is the party that loves confusing young people. This is the party that's all about telling young men that they can be young women, and young women that they can can be young men and lying to them. This is the party that is all about putting the safety of young women in jeopardy when they allow young men to use girls' bathrooms and girls' locker rooms and girls' changing spaces. And now, this is the party that RIF uses to condemn socialism. Socialism is one of the greatest evils ever, ever performed upon humanity. It's one of the greatest evils. Millions of souls have been lost because of socialism. And at the hand of socialist dictators, millions upon millions.
There is no debating this. And the socialists can't hide from it. They can't run from it. All they can do is repeat a mantra that socialism's great. But where is great? Where everybody's gonna get stuff. And it's gonna be great. And continue to poorly educate young people. So they come out of school believing the mantra that socialism is great. And it's not. It's evil. If your student is classically educated, I'm telling you, they will not vote for a socialist. I repeat this over and over and over again. Because a classically educated student is going to be taught history in its proper context. They're gonna come out understanding not only the evils of socialism, but the beauties of the American constitution.
The beauties of the Declaration of Independence, which laid the groundwork for the constitution to be written. Abraham Lincoln referred to the constitution and the Declaration as a picture of silver. Or I'm sorry, a frame of silver and framing a picture of gold to Bible verse. And he equated that Bible verse to the constitution and the Declaration. That the Declaration is the picture of gold and the Constitution is the frame of silver that keeps it together. The Constitution was made. So the principles of the Declaration could flourish so they could be realized to the point of the Constitution. And the principles of the Declaration are that all men are created equal. We're endowed by our creator with certain and alienable right. Among these rights are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness and it's the responsibility.
It's the job of government to defend those rights. Those are the principles of the Declaration of Independence. And it's the Constitution that sees those principles right that gives them the opportunity to flourish. And this is why the Constitution is the main obstacle in the way of socialists. I've played you the clips this week. These are their words. They want a revolution. And they're only obstacle to overthrowing the country and they're having that revolution is the Constitution of the United States. They hate that document. They want it gone. They've wanted it gone for decades, for generations. They tried to turn it into a living breathing document. They almost succeeded at that. They almost succeeded. They haven't yet. And the reason they haven't yet is because
there's good people out there fighting them. There's good people out there with standing the onslaught. There's good people out there fighting the fight to keep socialism at bay. And you're among them, by the way, you're a part of the fight whether you feel like it or not, you're a part of the fight. The fact that you're here and listening and paying attention and getting other people to listen and getting other people to pay attention, other people in your circle, this is how we do it. We get our small circles. We get them together and we talk. We talk about this stuff. We talk about the evils of socialism and we're not afraid to talk about how if we don't keep talking about it that we'll be overrun. If we don't do something about it, we'll be overrun. This is why that I support class of education, my friends. A classically educated student will not vote for a socialist.

Dunso, now's your chance. Go do it now. Go to the shop. Use code AOL at checkout. One of the things here that I don't know, I don't know how you can be one of the major parties in this country and not sign off on a resolution to condemn socialism. When the democratic socialists of America and their platform have made it clear, they want to destroy the constitution. One of their ways of doing this by the way. One of their ways of destroying the constitution is to either A, get rid of the Supreme Court altogether or B, if they can't get rid of it, make it of no use by packing it to Kingdom Come. Oh, oh, and who was the first to threaten the packing of the court? Yes, it was your friend FDR. Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Our first socialist president, he know how I take that back. He wasn't our first socialist president, Woodrow Wilson. Yeah, it was FDR this. I don't want to practice court. And it was FDR who just kept running and running and running, that dude, he said, forget George Washington's precedent of two terms. I mean, we're gonna keep doing this thing. And I'm gonna make sure that I rewrite this country in my image and also the image of Woodrow Wilson. I mean, we have the deep state because of FDR. And we have the alphabet agencies named after the alphabet president, FDR. So in order to keep the court from being packed and being threatened and oh, oh Biden, he threatened it. He threatened to pack the court. And the only way to keep it, to keep it safe
is to propose a constitutional amendment. And that very thing was done. There was a proposed amendment to the US Constitution that would limit the Supreme Court to nine justices. It was sponsored by a representative Andy Biggs. He introduced the joint resolution under suspended rules but he failed to garner the necessary two thirds majority. The votes fell almost entirely along party lines at two 12 to 206. Only one Democrat supported the proposed amendment. To keep the Supreme Court tonight. The rest of the Democrats? He said, no, they're not going to support this because they love socialism. And they'd rather see the court packed and or dismissed altogether.
Andy Biggs had his legislation gone through. It would have added a single sentence to the Constitution. And here it is. The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine justices consisting of one chief justice and eight associate justices. That's it. That's it. That's the amendment. That's the line. It's pretty simple. Any attempt to amend the Constitution, we know this. It faces an uphill battle and it's that way on purpose. The men who framed the Constitution were not dumb. They wanted to have the ability to amend it, but they wanted to make it difficult. So the amendment would have some purpose. The resolution, if you're unaware of this, let's just have a little, let's have Constitution 101 here for a minute, shall we? The resolution to amend the Constitution
requires support from two thirds of the House and two thirds of the Senate. And if it passes two thirds of the House and two thirds of the Senate, it still needs to be ratified by the states. State legislatures 38 out of the 50 states, out of the 50 state legislatures have to ratify the amendment. So it's a difficult process. There's also it, that means there's another way to go about it where Congress can be bypassed and the states can simply amend the Constitution, but they have to call the Constitutional Convention. It's never been done. And again, 38 out of the 50 states have to do it. It's never happened. I mean, right now there's a movement to call the Constitutional Convention. I support it, by the way.
I think we need it. And I think this line here from representative Biggs needs to be a part of it. This proposal came amid statements by Democratic lawmakers indicating they want to expand the number of justices to 13 and criticizing some of the Supreme Court's recent decisions and its current makeup. The Court is widely considered to have a six three conservative leaning majority, although that's not really. That's not really the case because you've got the chief and Amy Coney Barrett, who from time to time will vote with the three liberal socialist Democrat justices. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was giving an interview at the National Black Drimplism Conference last month. During that interview, he accused the current Supreme Court of being a subsidiary of the Maga Republican Party,
saying that dramatic reform was warranted and all options were on the table. Okay, you think this is a veiled threat? Is it an empty threat? I don't think it's neither of those things. The Democrat from South Carolina, representative Jim Clyburn said on August 30th that he thought the court should be expanded to 13. Let's go 13. Well, why would we stop at 13? I've heard some say 26. He said this on an interview with NBC. I think that we are in a position now that calls for some significant actions taken by Congress and 13 is a pretty good number. No, it's not. 13 isn't a pretty good number. It's a dumb number. 9 is a great number. Leave it at 9. Clyburn also said he regretted supporting just as Clarence Thomas' confirmation
to the high court in 1991 calling it a mistake. No, no, it wasn't a mistake. It was one of the best things you've ever done. Clyburn, debated ahead of the vote was heated. Democrats argued that recent court decisions on immigration or abortion and voting rules had unfairly favored President Donald Trump. No, no, you morons. They have an unfairly favored President Donald Trump. They legitimately favored America. They legitimately favored humanity and life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That's what they favored. Democrats also criticized the Supreme Court's recent ruling that states can't use race as a primary factor in drawing congressional district maps. I don't know. How could you criticize that unless you're a racist?
Oh, wait, I'm sorry. This is the party that that gave us the Ku Klux Klan. Yeah. And representative here, Hank Johnson, the Democrat from Georgia, suggested that there's a ruling diluted voting rights for black Americans. Oh, I don't know. The push to pack the Supreme Court, of course, isn't new after the 2023 decision overturning Roe v Wade. Uh, Hank Johnson and Senator Ed Markey, the Democrat from Massachusetts, introduced the 2021 Judiciary Act, which would have raised the number of justices to 13. Representative Jamie Raskin, the Democrat from Maryland, said that that number made sense because the number of Supreme Court justices should match the number of appeals court court circuits. I mean, there's 13 circuit court of appeals.
We should have 13 justices. You also noted that Congress changed the court to make up multiple times before settling on the nine member form at 1869. Yeah, they settled on it. So that's the case. That's exactly what it should be. It's nine. Meanwhile, GOP members said adding new members to the Supreme Court was a blatantly political maneuver that would delegitimize that branch of government. Whenever a different party assumed power, it could simply add more justices to dilute the previous makeup of the court. I mean, they're right. It's a delusion tactic. It's a tactic to make the Supreme Court of not-of-fact, but that's what they want. I mean, they're on board with that. They're on board with getting rid of it. If they can't get rid of it, let's just make it useless. Let's dilute it. So it serves no purpose at all except at our at our will.
That whatever we say, whatever law we pass, we'll have a puppet court that will say it's constitutional, whether it is or not. We got a puppet court. Here's what Biggs said. That's why the amendment before us is so important. It fixes the number of justices at nine permanently, not because nine is a magic number, but because a fixed court cannot be expanded by whoever happens to win the next election. And he's right. He's 100% right. But again, you've only got one Democrat that comes along and votes for it. Just one. One. One Democrat thinks that that's a good idea. And only eight Democrats thought it was a good idea to condemn socialism. Only eight. And here's the problem. The problem is we have an education system in this country
that refuses, just flat out blatantly refuses, to teach this to our young people. And number one, they don't teach the evils of socialism. They're not teaching accurate history. So young people come out of school thinking, yeah, for socialism is great. It just hasn't worked because we haven't tried it here yet, but we're going to do it. We should get rid of the prisons and defund the police. Yeah, it's great. Let's defund everything. They're not taught. And if they were taught the evils of socialism, the constituents, the Democrat, or the constituents, the people who voted for these Democrats, if they were educated, they would be up in arms. They would be having a fit right now. They would be marching down to their local Democrat office.
And I, you know, we would just see what unfolded. We would just watch it happen. But they're not doing that. They're not up in arms. They're not angry because they haven't been educated. They've not been properly informed. They've been lied to. They've been lied to by an education system that lies on purpose. And it is, it's one of the worst things having the Marxist take over our education system has been one of the, one of the worst things to have ever befall in the nation. The letting the Marxists overtake the teacher's unions has been one of the worst things to have ever befall in the nation. It's an overthrow from within Abraham Lincoln, prophetically, by the way, said that this country would never fall from without. America wouldn't fall from a foreign power.
She wouldn't fall from an external attack. She would fall from within. It would have to come from within. And it almost happened by the way under his watch. But he kept the union together. It cost him his life. But he kept the union together. And here we are again. We're facing an internal onslaught from socialism that has completely overrun one of the two major political parties in this country. Just taking it over. Just commandeered it. And we have young people who are okay with it because they've been educated to be okay with it. Which isn't an education at all. They've been educated to love the principles of the party of evil. I don't know how you can love the principles of the party of evil. I don't, but people do.
They're all on board. I was watching this clip the other day. And this woman, you know, was out there saying, yeah, we need to, it's a woman's right to choose. I mean, her body, her choice, if she wants to abort the child that lives inside of her, yes, she should be able to do that. Of course, she had all multi-colored forms of hair. And so the interviewer asked her, well, what if, I mean, what if the baby's gay? I mean, what if the child's gay? Should you be able to abort it then? And it was like her face switched. It was like the light bulb came on. And instantly she said, well, no, no, if the child's gay, then no, you shouldn't be able to abort it. You know, that shouldn't be a thing. You should not abort the baby if it's gay, but if it's like gay, I'll abort it. I mean, what kind of evil is this? How about, how about, no, we just, we don't, we don't kill babies. How about that?
Now, how about it, it doesn't matter what they're, what they're going to be. We just don't kill them. But we have people in this party that, that is just evil. Look, I know this is, this is a show about education. We talk about education all the time, but politics is education. And we cannot look the other way. We have to educate young people. And I'm telling you, if they were educated classically, they would, they wouldn't vote for this. They wouldn't vote for a socialist. They wouldn't stand idlely by, while one party becomes common-deered by evil. Because the party's opened up to it. I'm telling you, it's absolutely 100% opened up to it. What is there to be done about it? It's this right here. It's as I, as I've said previously, I said it in the last segment. Maybe I said it in the segment. I'm about to say it again.
We, we have to, we have to gather our circles, our circles of influence. And we have to talk to people. And they have to understand what we're up against. They have to understand the evils of socialism. And they need to understand that it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's up to you and me to make a stand against it. I had mentioned the governor race here. Jocelyn Benson is the Democrat nominee. She's running against John James, the Republican. And Benson conveniently enough is currently the Secretary of State in Michigan, which means as Secretary of State, she would be overseeing in her own election for governor. This is what we saw in Arizona, Katie Hobbs. This is right out of the playbook. So I'm looking at this piece here by the Gateway Pundit. It says that Michigan Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson replies to Justice Kavanaugh and gives laughable response about why it's not fair. For the Supreme Court to review citizens only vote petition case.
All right, so if you're unfamiliar with what's happening here in Michigan, the Supreme Court is going to review this citizen's only vote petition. This case here and Jocelyn Benson is not happy about. She's not happy about it at all. Despite the majority of citizens in Michigan, including Democrats, who don't want non-citizens on Michigan's voter rolls, the Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, who is also the Democrat candidate for governor, is fighting to keep non-citizens on the voter rolls and prevent any petition by the people or a government entity or even the US Supreme Court from identifying who these non-citizens are and removing them. Because she understands this is she needs these people if she's ever to
to win the governorship in Michigan. Michigan voters regardless of political party do not want non-citizens voting in their elections. In fact, a whopping 87% of voters evenly split between Democrats and Republicans in Michigan said in a recent Remington group poll that they are not in favor of non-citizens voting in Michigan's elections. Only US citizens should vote in Michigan elections. That was the question. 87% said yes. You know what? That should be 100%. 7% said yes. They should be able to vote. That should be in 6% said I'm not sure. So we have 13% of Michiganders who are clueless. They don't understand the Constitution. They don't understand founding documents and founding principal. I'm surprised 87% understand it.
Congratulations to 87% here in Michigan. Maybe there's hope. Okay, here is another question on the poll. In general, do you support or oppose or requiring when people register to vote that they must show proof of citizenship? 73% strongly support, 11% somewhat support. So 73, 84%. Okay, that's pretty close to 87% saying that non-citizen should not be voting. The article here refers to Jocelyn Benson as America's dirtiest secretary of state. I mean, that might be accurate. And she's not about representing the people that she was elected to represent. She is and always has been about looking out for her own interests. The piece refers to her right hand man, Bureau of Elections Director Jonathan Grader,
that together Benson and Brader have done everything within their power to ensure non-citizens are not only placed on Michigan's voter rolls, but ensuring they maintain the sole authority these two mainly so retain the sole authority to identify them. Okay, they don't want individuals to identify them. They don't want other government entities to identify them. And they certainly don't want Justice Kavanaugh and Supreme Court to identify them. Benson and Brader do not need a law that says only we may check citizenship. They built the system so the check cannot happen without them. The Bureau of Elections owns the qualified voter file. Cliffs can see the state and edit only their own city or township, but they cannot add a citizenship flag. The one Michigan agency, USCIS, lists for voter registration, save access,
is the Department of State and Lansing, not Wayne County, not Detroit, not a township clerk, with the Department of State and Lansing. And who controls that department? Chaslin Benson. Secretary of State branches handle automatic voter registration. Once that name is on the statewide voter list, the local clerk cannot use the federal citizenship check system and a non-citizen mark on that person's driver's license record is not in order from Lansing to take them off the rolls. Benson and Brader have also kept everyone else off the full file. The DOJ asks for the unredacted rolls, dates of birth, drivers license numbers, last four of Social Security, Benson refused to hand it over. And courts so far have allowed her to stonewall this hand over. So last week, August 24th, hundreds of Michigan residents
packed the Michigan Board of Canvacers meeting in Lansing to defend the validity of the Americans for Citizens Only Voting Petition. The petition was turned in several months ago, it had an astounding 799,841 signatures, 59% over the threshold of the minimum to make the ballot. That minimum was only 446,198, almost 60% over that threshold. The American for Citizens did not sneak this petition in at the last minute. The petitions landed on March 4th, 2026, more than four months before the July 6 filing deadline. And eight months before Election Day. The Bureau of Elections sat on those 709,000 plus signatures
for five and a half months. Staff didn't release the 1000 signatures sample until July 24th. The staff report, calling the petition 17 signatures short, did not come on until August 17th. That's 166 days after the boxes were delivered. And it left the campaign 17 days to fight challenges, chase affidavits, and get in front of the Board of State canvacers. By August 24th, you see what's happening here, right? You see the play? The Michigan Board of Canvacers was asked to review the signatures pulled from the random sampling, which the Board of Elections Director Jonathan Grader's staff deemed unacceptable. Because according to the staff members, the signatures on the petition didn't match the signatures they had on file. Oh, so I was okay. If the signatures don't match, it's okay to make it invalid.
When it fits your needs. Many audience members could be heard remarking that their signatures have changed over the years, suggesting this was a completely unfair practice. The intent scrutiny given to each signature by the amateur signature sleuths was especially difficult to watch. Given that only six years ago, Michigan's top election official, Michigan's Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, told her clerks to ignore signature matching when accepting absentee ballots. And they should assume that the signatures matched. Always assume that it's the correct signature. The attorneys working for the American citizen movement were able to obtain 23 affidavits from the sampling of 1000 that Benson's Board of Elections staff members rejected. This was to prove that the signatures they called into question were indeed valid signatures.
The attorneys provided 19 affidavits by the 10 am Saturday deadline and an additional form or on Saturday at some point. The time of that delivery is unclear. For almost five hours, Michigan citizens watched smug Democrats disregard legitimate signatures on affidavits filed by voters who were accused by the Michigan Board of Elections of not being legitimate. Two Republicans and two Democrats sitting on the Michigan Board of Canvacers who have no expertise whatsoever in analyzing signatures, whether it's a match or not, discounted signatures verified by a notary public with shocking arrogance and smugness. After the folks behind the petition filed an emergency Supreme Court application seeking to put the Michigan citizens only voting amendment on the November ballot, Justice Kavanaugh responded,
giving Michigan Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson and Jonathan Brader until noon that day to respond. Benson's attorney did respond to Kavanaugh's request, basically begging the US Supreme Court to allow the far left Michigan Supreme Court to handle slash slow walk the case. If the US Supreme Court agrees with Benson, it would essentially ensure the proposal would never make it on the ballot for the upcoming election, as it would never be settled before the September 4 deadline, when the Michigan Board of Canvacers meet to finalize the ballots for the upcoming election. In her argument to the US Supreme Court Benson attempted to explain the random sampling process used to identify the signatures that didn't match. But if the Board of Canvacers agreed that several of
the affidavits they received during the hearing last week matched the signatures, then why did Brader's staff flag them in the first place? It seems like a forensic expert should have been called in and at a minimum an outside non-partisan group should be able to conduct a completely separate random sampling of 1,000 signatures to see if they find the same issues identified with Brader's staff. So why have so many roadblocks been placed in front of honest American citizens who only want clean voter rolls? That's a fair question. Not only did Benson's staff drag their feet on the results of the random sampling of signatures, but petition sponsors cannot even see the signature images that Brader's staff used to reject in the in the sample. Clurks throughout the state have said in
public they cannot verify citizenship once a name is on the list. The amendment that would have required proof of citizenship to register is the one Democrats on the Canvacers Board deadlocked off the ballot last week. And the one Benson is telling Justice Kavanaugh not to touch. So there you have it. Benson owns the voter file in Michigan and her department is the only Michigan office authorized to run the federal citizenship check on the voter registrations. This is the epitome of the Fox guarding the headhomes. Individuals are placed on the voter rolls at Benson's driver's license offices. The clerk only sees the name after they've already been registered. Clurks have no way of verifying their citizenship or even their validity. And the Democrat candidate for governor in the upcoming election this November will not give anyone else the records that would let them run
any checks. But that doesn't scream fraudulent. And now she's not only asking every citizen in the state of Michigan to trust her that the citizens only voting proposal shouldn't make it on the ballot. She's also asking voters to make her and greater the only two people voters should trust that non-citizens are not on Michigan's voter rolls cake. Can we truly trust that? Could it be that Benson doesn't want a proposal on the upcoming ballot that would attract more conservatives than liberals to vote in an election where the very unpopular secretary of state will also be on the ballot running from Michigan's governor? It's our prayer that the US Supreme Court takes up this case. That my friends is our prayer. So while on the federal level the Democrats are embracing socialism at the local level. They're embracing every way possible to cheat their way, cheat their way
into office. All right my friends that's it. I hope you have a fantastic day and a fantastic week. Courage your friends and family to get on the Dean's list. But unite to renovate the age.
