If Yankee Baseball time. Yankee Baseball is bought to you by the Atlantic Rich Field Company and your local Atlantic dealer. Atlantic keeps your car on the go with a gasoline and service that makes your car feel young again. And by field brothers of Brooklyn, New York, you say thank you very much for trying our field's real draft field. Now in just a moment, Jerry Phil and Frank live the ballgame. Hi everybody, this is Frank Master, welcoming you to New York Yankee Baseball. Jerry Coleman and I are on hand here at 6.00am in Seattle, Washington. Bring you all the action in this second game of a free game series between Yankees and

the Seattle pilots. And again, we have a beautiful evening for Baseball. The skies have been clear and sunny all day out here in Seattle, Washington. The average you're just a few minutes ago was 70 degrees as it again today reached close to the 80-degree mark here in the Pacific North. So expecting a good night, Mel Stullmeyer, a great drawing card out here, will be fetching for the Yankees and Gary Bell will be on the mound for the Seattle pilots. And this should be one of the larger crowds of the season here in Seattle. With Mel Stullmeyer, the biggest action, a native of this part of the country. And the big news tonight, a brand new Yankee lineup. We're going to try to feel revisions on Ralph Holtz lineup's guard and we'll be back with the lineups in just a moment. 100 years ago, China has been prized for its delicate translucent beauty and its wrinkle splendor.

Now Atlantic brings you fine China from across the sea at a fantastically low price. It's called Royal Elegan and it captures the charm and grace of expensive fine China. A four piece play setting of Royal Elegan can now be yours at an exceptionally low price from participating Atlantic dealers with your purchase of eight gallons of gasoline. This offer may vary in some states. Each four piece play setting consists of a cup, saucer, dinner plate and bread and butter plate. You can charge your play settings and accessory pieces of Royal Elegan on your Atlantic Ridgefield credit card. You will be proud to display Royal Elegan to your guests on special occasions but you'll also enjoy Royal Elegan every day because it's delicate in appearance only. Royal Elegan takes steady wear and repeated soakings in your dishwasher but still keeps its regal bearing. Start your collection of Royal Elegan that you're participating in Atlantic station. Royal Elegan is an eye plate. We'll make your table fit for a king. Thank you lineup and give me the lot of and talk about those changes.

Here is Jerry Collins, Jerry. Okay Frank Messer, manager Ralph Holtz. Switched into his grab bag and switched the Yankee lineup around although using the same faces. We'll give it to you right now as the empires come out of the dugout. Manager Ralph Holtz trailing a log. Manager Joe Schultz of the Seattle Pilots coming to home plate. The starting lineup for the Yankees as it reads tonight. Forest Clark at second base leading off. Jerry Kenny has been switched from center field to third base and he's batting second. Bobby Mercer makes the switch from third to right field and Bobby stays in the number three spot. Roy White in left field batting cleanup. Joe Pepitano first base hitting fifth. Jimmy Hall moves from right field. He's playing center field tonight and batting sixth. Tommy Trash at short stop batting seventh. Jake Gibbs behind the plate tonight having recovered from the severe bruise when his left thigh is back in the lineup. He'll hit eight and Mel Stautelmeyer as Frank Messer told you will be pitching and batting

ninth. For the Seattle Pilots Tommy Harper at second base leads the majors in stolen bases with 18. He's leading off Mike Egan in right field batting second. Tommy Davis who drove in four last night is in left field this evening batting third. Don Venture back in the lineup he rested last night. He's at first base and batting cleanup. Wayne Comer will be in center field batting fifth. At third base and hitting sixth Rich Rollins. Jerry McNurtney the catcher batting seventh. Ray Euler at short stop hitting eighth and Gary Bell the veteran right hander pitching and batting ninth. The umpires John Rice behind the plate Larry gets at first. Mike that rest gets at first. Larry nap at second. Bill Kunkel at third. Now with the field bacon right now nobody on at this moment let's pause for station identification. Hi this is Jerry Ducy.

Join me for my telephone talk show weeknight song WGY's Connectivity. The Seattle pilot take the field and a fan here a huge crowd. Just about packing the small wallpark I think they can fit about 20 or 23 in here when it's completed. There are still areas in the bleachers in right field and center field that haven't been completely finished. But right now the fans here at sixth stadium on their feet and momentarily our national anthem.

We had quite a donny group here last night when Bobby Mercer and short stop while the Seattle pilot Ray Euler won at it eventually Euler and Mercer were ejected on a play at second base and manager Ralph Hock also kicked out. That was in the third inning of last night's ball game. Seattle won that game last night by a score of eight to four and they got seven of the eight runs in the first inning. Gary Bell is warming up. Right now let's take a look at the scores in the American and the National League. Boston at Oakland they're scoreless after one and a half. Eight socks leaving the Tigers won nothing after six. Washington at California no score is yet there.

Cleveland eight Kansas City three they're playing the ninth. All the more two Minnesota one Minnesota batting in the bottom of the eighth in the National League this afternoon the Braves beat the Mets four to three. That was tonight I'm informed we kind of forget the time of here is three hours split between the West Coast and the East Coast. Another night action this evening in the National League used in ten Monterey all three they're playing the ninth inning LA at St. Louis Post phone because of rain Cincinnati beat Philadelphia six to four San Francisco ten the Pirates eight they're playing the ninth and listen to this. The white socks beats are rather the Chicago Cubs beat the San Diego Padres nineteen to nothing. Any banks had a couple of home runs all over had one and young also had one for the Cubs. So ready to go here for a step again and now let's go back to Frank Messer for the play by play. Thank you very much Jerry Harris is sitting two sixty nine as he stands in their left

hand it against the right handed Gary Bell the first pitch of the ball game is low ball one and this game is underway. The Seattle pilots riding the crest of a four game win streak their longest of the season. Yankees. Trying to snap a five game losing streak the wind up in the pitch strike call that are high at the outside part of the plate. Jerry Bell thirty two year old right handed originally signed into pro ball in the Cleveland organization. Looks at a Jerry McNerthy picks up a sign rocks back on the left foot kicks and throws the clock takes ball two to one. Cashman I will this last night this compact ballpark measures three twenty down the right field line three hundred five feet down the left field line three forty five to the power out here in white center and left center and the straightaway center field the sign says four hundred five feet.

Rather cozy park the pitch to clock get up in the air in this straightaway center moving for his lane callmer he is under it and the center field of puts it away one down. Now the batter will be Jerry Kenny Kenny is hitting two eighteen a couple of bases last night and tonight finds himself for the first time at third base. A little game you might play along with us think about it now. You would see in just a second. I want to test your memory a little bit. The line up by Gary Bell first of all the pitch to Kenny inside corner is picked up for a call strike. In the starting lineup tonight the Yankees when they take the field will have six men who have played third base for the Yankees. We try to pick those out five of them may be fairly obvious. Fitch to Kenny bounce Paul down the first base line and it's strike two. Elston Howard flags down the ball.

Constantly the pilots Tommy Davidson left field tonight Wayne Comer in center and Mike Higginon right. Rich Rollins at third Ray Oller it's just up Tommy Hartford second base and Don Mintrow first Jerry McNerney again the catcher and Gary Bell on the mound. Hey it's Kelly Rowland you may not know this but I have X amount so I get how it can still your time but why let Exama take over when you can talk to your doctor about Epglis. Jeep Jeep Gorilla Registrar Trademarks of FCAUS LLC. Hey it's Kelly Rowland. You may not know this but I have Exema so I get how it can steal your time. But why let Exema take over when you can talk to your doctor about Epglis? Epglis Lebrichizmab LBKZ, a 250mg per 2mL injection is a prescription medicine used

to treat adults and children 12 years of age and older who weigh at least 88 lbs or 40kg with moderate to severe Exema. Tell one's kicks and draws and Kenny takes just downstairs. Looks like it has a plate but must have been just blow as he used. We look almost directly down on home plate from our vantage point here and it's hard to tell the balls that are up and down. You can see them across the plate pretty well.

There's a line drawn to let field is going to fall in for a base hit for Kenny. Tommy Davis comes up with it. Jerry Kenny, a big turn around first now comes back to the bag as Tommy Davis fires into water and the Yankees have the first hit of the ball game as Kenny lined it solidly to the left side. It brings up Bobby Mercer. Listen to the crowd. Listen to it. He's getting quite a reaction. Mercer went two for two before being thrown out last night for the fight with Ray O'Neill. Mercer is now hitting 3-13 in nine hole runs. He leaves the majors and runs but it in with 32. Let's add what he takes outside ball on. Mercer playing in right field tonight is playing the outfield for the first time in his professional career. He's still thinking about those six third baseman. Bill Kane, our statistician, gave me a little knowing grin.

He knows. Think of how I will tell you with the R&D minutes. Over the first base Kenny backs safely. Think about it on the bottom half of the inning because it won't become official until that until Kenny actually takes position at third. Then you're holding against the speedy Kenny. The pitch to Mercer, he takes a swinging bot and misses. Mercer moved up about two or three steps at time. Had squared off in bunk fashion and swung at the pitch. A swinging bunch strike, one and one on body. Mercer last night hit his nine pole run of the year and he hit it well up into the right field. Those right field seats are pretty well filled tonight. There goes Kenny, the pitch is swung out and missed the throw to second not nearly in time. Kenny is in there easily. Stolen base for Jerry Kenny, his eighth of the year and the club leadership. Pitch was down low.

Mercer swung on the pitch to protect the runner. It's one ball and two strikes. Nick Nurtmey's throw was not nearly in time to get Kenny a second. Jerry Bell had his biggest year in the majors in 1959 when he won 16 and lost 11 for the Cleveland Indians. He deals, Mercer swings, there's a long fly ball to the right field. This one is going in. It is down, baby. Number 10 for Valley Mercer way up in the right field seats. 18 rows deep they tell us on the PA and the Yankees lead to nothing. Number 10 for Mercer is 33rd and 34th runs but it in. Jerry that's the best win world. Retaliate to most knockdown fritches. Nick Vodding may have moved to Seattle.

He's three for three up here, two whole runs in a single. Of course he has been red hot for the Yankees. I believe he had seven RBI's on this trip going into tonight's ballgame and that extends it to nine and retains the American League and Major League leadership with 34 now. All right, here is Roy White, the left fielder. Roy takes a strike over the outside fronter. Roy is hitting 264, he steps in. Roy is at two whole runs this year, 12 runs but it in. Bell deals. White runs up to Pontex the battleway from a high pitch and the count is even one and one. John Rice, the plate umpire. Russ gets it first, Larry now put second bill, Conquist third. The umpire's really had their hands pulled last night with all the action on the field other than baseball action. One one pitch to White. Low, about to two balls and one strike.

First it was saying in the hotel this afternoon that the fight is well it's not forgotten but the hard feelings are what he said. Wait till I get to back tonight. Well he did it. White takes ball three outside, it's three and one. Frank there's a strong evidence that there are many other people in the news medium waiting for something to happen. The upper deck here loaded with camera men. Three one pitch to Roy White. He takes a low ball four white as on. Sony Yankees. Here in the first inning scored two runs and a single by Kenny, a homer by Mercer. They now have White at first with one out in Joe Febapil moving in. Everyone is not in two forty one as he comes into the scheme. That'd be what Hitler's last night and fourth pass. He draws quite a reaction from the crowd.

Menture holding against White at first. The pitch to Febapil swung on him. This time. Febapil was way out in front of that one. The outfield is sort of bunched against Febapil. The left field of Davis gives up the left field foul line. Comer straight away in center and out of right field. He can is deep and not tucked around toward the corner. He's playing over to right center. So the outfield bunch set up up the middle of the infield the same way. The unbalanced appearance. Menture holding at first. Hepatone takes low ball one. One ball one strike. On fire once the ball delfires it in. Strange thing about the battle last night. I can share it. It's second base. I had told by several players and Mercer agrees. I didn't have a chance to talk to Euler. But with about thirty players on top of the two of them on the ground, they're apologizing to each other. But he said, I was sorry and Euler said, I'm sorry I shouldn't have done it. Obviously, well, I'd feel the same way in order.

So we're good and safe when you get off of me. Here goes White. Hepatone fouls the ball up in the air behind the plate. Coming back for it and igniting as a play on it makes the catch. And throws the first but not in time. You worry White broke with a pitch. And then race back to first base as Hepatone fouled out to McNulty. Just picture that out there at second base. Now here's the two combatants. You're on the ground with about thirty ball players on top of you. One or once they're thrown back to second base now, cleaning White went around the bag. And White is out. He did not touch second on the way back. The pilots make the appeal play at second. And Roy White is declared out for having rounded the bag and not touching second on his way back to first, which he must do. So if goes as a double play with White, out at second base on the saddle pilots appeal. The Yankees get two runs on two hits.

There will no errors. Nobody left at the end of one happening. The play at the score, the Yankees two and the pilots, telling the battle. And the Yankees return right in the night through the stadium against the californ angels followed by a ladies' day Saturday afternoon game. And then a Sunday double header, big weekend coming out midweek, following week. It's Tuesday night and Wednesday night against the open days and then following that Wednesday night against the Oakland A's and then following that another big weekend with a Minnesota twins Friday night Saturday a Sunday double header capped off by Ball Day on May the 25th all against the twins Frank. I just I'll my to Tommy Harper first pitch low and outside ball on The play on one if you want to score goes 216 catch her to pitcher to shortstop

Upper right hand hitter once at the ball and follows it One ball and one strike Harper coming into this game hitting three oh eighty at three hits last night He and Mike Egan are tied for the Seattle pilots team leadership and batting both of the hitting three oh eight Park was also stolen 18 bases tops in the major leagues He had one last night started myers pitch during fastball squad and missed one ball and two strikes to Tommy Harper Yankees with Roy White and Loughby old Jimmy Hall and Sutter and Bobby Mercer in right Jerry Kenny at third base Trash had short clock at second half of time at first Jake gives back in the lineup for the first time since last Friday night during the catching Stuttle mile lines and deals Harper swings and Mrs. Strike three So there's one out of Stuttle Meyer fans suffer

And the batter will be the right-fielder Mike Egan Like Harper Egan is sitting three oh eight. He's a left hand batter The coaches Frank Cross study a third base Ron Plaza former infielder at second base Kenny and on the grass against the left hand hitting he didn't Hey, it's Kelly Rowland you may not know this but I have Xima So I get how it can steal your time But why let Xima take over when you can talk to your doctor about Ebglus Ebglus Lebrichism ab LBKZ a 250 milligram per two milliliter injection is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 12 years of age and older Who weigh at least 88 pounds or 40 kilograms with moderate to severe axima also called a topic dermatitis that is not well controlled with prescription Therapies used on the skin or topicals or who cannot use topical therapies Ebglus can be used with or without topical corticosteroids Don't use if you are allergic to Ebglus allergic reactions can occur that can be severe eye problems can occur

Verbo has spacious summer stays for every group size and budget That's vacation rentals done right start exploring on Verbo and book your next day now And the pitch low by one Cherry cutting in his first game at third base about those six Yankees that have played there you get a little break right here. Why? We'll tell you they are Why not it you when you think of it pitches lower outside Deegan steps back Mel Stuttlebyer with a record of five and two has quite a delegation from is Well the two towns that claim him Madden and Grandview from over in the valley There's a fastball down low and he's behind three and older Mike Egan

Among those here in the ballpark tonight Mel's mother and dad They were also here last night for a reunion with their son At a picture in the paper out here. I don't know whether it was guy around the country or not But may have been in the New York papers of Mel posing with his mom and dad here at the ballpark three all pitch to hegan he takes right on three He can last night went all for four Stuttlemyer to the wind up three one pitch swing on and foul back four count now free until on Mike Egan Tommy Davis on deck Think about Yankees will play third base now of Kenny tonight of course Mercer I'm sure you remember Roy White has played third Sure, you remember Horace Clark has played third base and you remember Tommy Tres has played third base. Those are five

Stuttlemyer deals three two pitch he can bounces it down the first base line and outs fall before it gets to the bag The six the Yankee in the lineup tonight was played third base for the Yankees is Jake Gibbs Back he played third base before he ever caught He'd hardly blame if you don't remember I think Jake played only one or two innings at third But he did play there And minor leagues Jake played everywhere except pitch and center field he didn't place center Played all around the infield left and right fields Three two pitch again to hegan with one out bounced down the first base line this one is fair puppet-owned has it makes the race himself and retire as he can unassisted So there are two down and Tommy Davis will come up Tommy Davis Fighting one ninety one he was a big man last night

Davis knocked in four ones last night a base is loaded double his first time up He had another double later in the ballgame to drive in another Right hand header Swings and misses strike one Two-time national league batting champion Tommy Davis Has never since been the ball player that he was before he suffered a broken ankle Chokes slightly on the bat takes over the blow and the count is even one and one This is the first time they'll settle Myers over pitch professionally in his home state He gets a strike over the outside corner. It's one and two on Tommy Davis Now one is first five starts this year since then he has lost his last two decisions Both games incidentally were one run decisions To the one and three to two

Davis files went off to the left side Stuller my leads the Yankee staff and wins with five in starts Complete games andnings pitched And he's pitched the Yankee's low hit game of the year or one hit her against the Tigers. He shut him out for nothing Pitch the Davis bounce down the first baseline foul just foul Have a toe and got to the ball God holds one and two So So my service has to be a big thrill pitching his home state and this close to his home town Wines and deals one and two to Davis Brucky and not be fouled it just foul

Oh And we'll have another one to pitch coming to Tommy Davis It is Reel out to a set of field moving to his left is Jimmy Hall and makes the catch on the run in the gap in right center So the side is retired three up three down nothing across for the pilots and at the end of one point in it's New York to and Seattle nothing Oh Students today students as loyal cigarette smokers. Let's discuss certain let no drawbacks. We all have to face for instance Of course cigarette smoking causes lung cancer and heart disease The doctors don't have to keep harping on that we all know that and we all know that cigarettes aren't the only trouble makers either For example, I know a man who broke his back merely bending over to tire shoelights But do you hear the doctors telling us to give up wearing shoes? Of course not and they go on and on about how cigarettes cause shortness of breath putting an added burden on the heart

Well, I say the heart was put there to work and it had just better get to work or get out now then let's all light up and enjoy a good smoke Oh More one cigarette smoking all your American cancer society Two quick scores for you the senators have let yet to win on the west coast their own six on this trip out here to the far west Our leading california won the nothing after one on the home run by Mike Epstein and Caroo has hit a two-run shot in the eighth inning to put the twins ahead of the orals three to two Baltimore batting top of the night Frank all right Jerry and here is Jimmy Hall to lead off the second I was batting 250 Left on her staring at it Jerry Bell But run right ahead of lines and deals and he's outside all one

Jimmy Hall and last night's ballgame with one before sport run Well, I'm in close up there at the edge of the grass Bell lines one of the pitch outside again Jerry Bell does not want Jimmy Hall to pull Trying to work the outside corner making that to left field or up the middle Fresh on deck then Jake Gibbs Yankees leading to nothing on mercer's first-duty homer the pitch Line out into left field Tommy Davis Right there makes the catch So Hall is retired one down and fresh steps in Fresh is hitting 189 Tommy had two hits last night of double on the single he went two for four He's staying with his new batting stance

Shoked up a bit on the handle now he's down at the end of the handle right now as he moves in there Slightly close stance. He once long to the first space out of the mouth picked up by Bell. He's got to hurry He's got him in a close play of first place Fresh off by a half a step Bell to mentor So down and Jake Gibbs about him To down and Jake Gibbs about him Gibbs is hitting 19 his first action since being Roughed up at the plate by Brett Campanaris down in Oakland last Friday night Jake suffered spike wounds on both legs but more serious. He had a rather deep seated bruise on the left five That prevented him getting down on the catchers crouch behind the plate Bell delivers to him Jake takes inside of an ease ball one Rollins plays Gibbs as he did Hall fairly close and one of the line at third right at the edge of the grass here's the pitch

Low Give holes in those strikes The cows are coaching at third for the Yankees Austin Howard coaching over at first Folks still coming into this ballpark they've filled the stands up pretty well still some room out in the bleachers There's the wind up and the two nothing pitch All three They tell me this has a chance to be the biggest crowd of the year here at Seattle The battle on the field last night plus stop on my are pitching Three nothing pitch Gibbs takes both pointies on and four pitches Plus of course the fact that the Seattle pilots have won their last four ball games And great weather just unbelievable weather out here everybody's talking about I didn't know what to expect myself Well the natives out here say that they just can't remember a stretch in May where the weather has been

So good for so many days in a row Now start a while moves in on the plate Mel has four hits in 21 trips spouting one nighty the pitch joint He takes high ball one Right now Gary Bell cannot find the strike group Yankees ready to nothing two outs here in the second and venture holding against gives it first place It's fall in jeep country and during the driving to fall sales event get a great deal on four by fours that refuse to be contained Like jeep Wrangler confidence built into every drive with the most awarded SUV ever jeep grand Cherokee and freedom that can't be denied With the open air freedom and jeep gladiator after 85 years It's no surprise that jeep became America's SUV brand get a great deal during the jeep driving to fall sales event jeep is one more awards over its lifetime than any other SUV brand jeep and the jeep grill or register trademarts of fca usl c

Oh, waiting it back and forth each spread in the batter's box Bell sets and deals now swings. There's a far-high little usy. Oh back goes what I feel to deal is on the warning track and he makes the catch

Right up the fence of about the three hundred forty foot mark The subtle my against the ball world by Davis falls and in for the third off for the Yankees no runs no hits The little errors are walking a man left at the end of one and a half the store is New York to and Seattle nothing Let's go So I just made a table every day Hi gang hi to me let's take a look at today's words of wisdom which say show me a man who's a neighbor And I'll show you a man who's really fine now. What exactly do we mean by that? We mean that you college graduates have a great opportunity to become a naval aviator and choose the type of aircraft You wish to fly the Navy's aviation officer candidate program allows you to earn your commission in just sixteen short weeks

And that's a whole lot better than sixteen long Carm taxid nearest naval air station or naval air reserve trading unit today All right Joey Coleman will go to the bottom half of the second inning with Mentor Coleman and Walens coming on for the Seattle pilots talking to And let me explain this one on He said that he thought it was very unusual and I have to agree that there are seven men in the Yankee lineup tonight Who have played three different positions for the Yankees Now there's one to think about as we Keep talking about this revamped lineup Stubble my already to pitch the blood-danned hitting Don Mentor and Mentor hits one on the ground up the middle of front back hands

The behind second but they'll have no play Like knocked it all down but had no play a invasive for Mentor And for Mentor his twenty four pit of the year as he came in batting 232 On New York Yankee baseball we pause for station identification Very downy at you to join me week days three to six p.m. You're on WGY 10 on your dials The batter is Wayne Comer right hand hitting center-fielder Colver batting 254 he went over three last night but walked twice and scored both times he was on He takes the fast-thoughter now for a call strike one Of its own holding against Mintoroth first Park shaded well to his right toward the bag at second Tresh also playing more less up the middle Jerry Kenny a couple of steps behind the bag and wide at third

Fitches down low to Comer in the count evens one ball one strike Roy white a deep left field Jimmy Hall just about straightaway in center Bobby Mercer is the shock man in white field The pitch to Comer wow over the head to the camera man on the roof war right that Jerry was talking about a few minutes ago two three four five six seven eight nine ten That we can count right there plus there's another contingent down here to our left Still cameraman and movie cameraman Jerry you know they they've got to be hoping for a repeat of last night We may have 25,000 boxing fans here tonight right One two-pitch to Comer bounce solid Kenny his first chance of 30 throws the seconds for one back to first not in time Mintor found in the Crockett's second forced a bad throw from Morris. He got it to peppered on on one hop

So Kenny handled his first play at third base in good fashion Jerry's he snapped a quick throw to Crockett's second At first ones the tough one Frank. I know that Kenny is very happy to have it out of the way I'm sure that Bobby Mercer will be looking forward to his first shot Once you get that in your hip-hop you feel a lot better One out of Mintor has been forced at second Comer on at first and Rich Rodin's the third base from steps in Rodin's is sitting 218 Right hand better Rodin's last night went old for two They go over three He goes for the pitch and misses through the right one Epitone continues to hold against the base runner now Comer at first base the Yankees leading to the nothing case you want with us Mercer did it in the first inning he did his thing

with Kenny on Check swinging a ball is outside of Rodin's one ball and strike The Yankees the greatest positions Clark has played second base third base and shortstop for the Yankees Kenny as up tonight has played third base shortstop and center field one one fish coming down to Rodin's here it is Lower side nice save by Gibbs Mercer now has played right field third base and shortstop Boy white is played Left field center field and third base Epitone has played first base center field and right field two one pitch two Rich Rodin's Comer at first As and off the end of the bat rolling over toward the Yankee dugout

Jimmy Hall has played the three outfield positions left center and right in his brief ten year with the Yankees Tommy Trez has played Shortstop third base and left field So there are seven Yankees in the line of tonight that have played three different positions for the Yankees Two two pitch will be coming down to Rodin's here it is Bounce fall over left side this time One outcome at first Sun is down but it's still daylight out here Seattle think clouds we can see you off to the left We cannot see Mark Ranier tonight Bit of a haze in the air and That beautiful majestic mountain that towers over this area from 14,000 behind Not visible the city two two pitch five all three four count non-Rodin's three and two

Comer looks over to Chris study and so does Rodin's Of course, Rodin's us to do it he can up there with a three two count But he wants to know whether the runner will be going or not We'll know in a moment startle my rubbs on the baseball Mel Bluff and of the left knee far behind the right hip looking down brings his hands together just put all the letters Comer goes the pitches hit up in the air the left field that was the VST come in still coming He's under it now makes the catch throws over toward first base and it is not in time Comer got back To down on the catcher Jerry McNutney steps in Well, he's for men is just about got into the last night Amanda's feraling in at the play trying to score from second

Was out by old ten-feet or so for and is just stuck he showed it down try to mark the ballers Which is the play in baseball Jerry and McNutney took a bit of exception to it I think if we have not had the donnie brook had it second earlier And nothing would have been said on that play or nothing no action Now you see that quite frequently in the major leagues there the catcher of course has to be ready for that particular type play First pitch to McNutney right hand butter. He takes it across right one McNutney is hitting two eighty six No balls in one strike comer at first To away startled by a deal. There's a bounce here to the right side It may go through quarks got it back in the grass loves it though to pepper-tone not in time I tried to make an off balance broose he went back in the right field grass come up with that ground ball Just lift it up in the air

I think Jerry that's all he could do with Albany didn't want to take time to study Just all in one motion feel it it and sort of pushed it to pepper-tone but on the wild throw McNutney beat it out to the base. Now Ray Oler was involved in the Danny brook with Bobby Mercer last night steps in Or the right hand butter the short stuff but runners at first and second and two down Getty backs up the clear against the right hand hitting order What a spluckout is only time up last night Thanks a ball Honor is batting one ninety one He's never been noted for his sitting in the field but he's a smooth feeling trust out

Shops up on the back That's out of the slight barge knees bent Then the boys clears the pitch That's by down the third base side Yeah Yeah, he's leading to the nothing we're in the bottom half of the second two on and two gone for the pilots It's fall in jeep country and during the driving to fall sales event get a great deal on four by fours that refuse to be contained like jeep Wrangler confidence built into every drive with the most awarded SUV ever jeep grand Cherokee and freedom that can't be denied with the open air freedom and jeep gladiator After 85 years it's no surprise that jeep became America's SUV brand Get a great deal during the jeep driving to fall sales event jeep is one more awards over its lifetime than any other SUV brand Jeep and the Jeep grill register trade marks of FCA uslc Meet the red bull dragonberry emergizer. Oh, back

Homer at second got a big break to a third den and stop one ball and two strikes water Probably worse or we'll have to keep an eye on the dugout too. It'll be sure that he doesn't miss a Sign from there Oh Homer takes his lead and has his back almost toward 30s looking back toward Back off another couple of steps to step by step on my other one two pitch coming to Ray Euler here it is Now step to the mound start on my eyes up with it And it's a par ball now start on my through the first base wait on fire John Rice says know it's a par ball off his leg All are walking around out of the plate Mr. Bones left leg he's favoring it just a bit

So the job holds one ball to strikes Homer at second necknert me at first I Probably worse or we'll have to keep an eye on the dugout too. It'll be sure that he doesn't miss a Sign from there Homer takes his lead and has his back almost toward 30s looking back toward Back off another couple of steps to step by step on my other one two pitch coming to Ray Euler here it is Now step to the mound start on my eyes up with it And it's a par ball now start on my through the first base wait on fire John Rice says know it's a par ball off his leg All are walking around down at the plate Mr. Bones left leg he's favoring it just a bit

So the job holds one ball to strikes Homer at second necknert me at first Yankees leading to nothing But my toes rubber looks down at Jake gives As the sign brings his hands together below the letters and the pitch Ground ball looks side Kenny in front of treasures up with it fires to pepperstone in time And the side is retired Joey Kenny going deep to his left got in front of trech to feel that ball and fired out orders And for the Seattle pilots no runs to hit no yankees to man left and at the end of two the store the Yankees to and the pilots nothing There's something fine going on at all Participating at that station and the response has been just great We mean a fine China that participating at Laddick theaters now have available royal elegance

It's yours at participating at Laddick station stop in today Oh Frank masher we've got a final score in that will relate rather strongly to the eastern and western divisions in the American League and who leads them Minnesota

Beat ball the more four to two The winning picture for the twins bars well the loser for the Orioles quay are careers or run on the eighth inning Put the twins over the top now Boston leads open two to nothing after three and a half and should Boston win now and outside the Orioles And Minnesota will have the western division lead all of them. So the way this time goes on All right, you're even here's our squark as we go to the third inning Our fly to center is first time up takes a pitch inside all on Kenny Andre their mercy Well, I'm gonna pass the third the fifth missed outside two balls and no strikes to horse floor I'll say the truth that he can in right field is almost over in center field against quark They've once the outfield tight to the left If horse had could pull on the right field he'd get a triple easy He tries to the opposite to balls one straight

Even in this short ballpark the way he and his playing I pulled one down the line joy like I have to see he could go for three A lot of room down there He can almost in to right center field But lined up in the two one pitch lined up to a left-sutter coming on for his former and he drops the ball Watch stops at first base We'll see how they scored. I when Koma picked it up quickly through into second. It's a base set He tried a shoestring catch got the glove down has the ball in his glove but couldn't hold onto it And Morris Park gets a base set on a line drive to center His number three for the Yankees That would have been a sensational catch till the first base by Bell Park is back Koma came up with one of those as I recall last night he made a flying catch out there venture tried to decoy Clark he Fated with the ball back to the pitcher but Park was not good

Here's Kenny had a single about this first time up and he was on when Mercer Homer The pitch to him strike cold They play Kenny just as they did Clark he can well he can his back toward right field about three or four steps But he's well over in right center He can was almost in center field against Clark Can he beat close in the batter's box? Swings in this one one hopper back to Bell he throws to hopper for one back to first That'll play and that's gonna bring up a beat Wow Elston hard and Jerry Kenny hopper and Must get the first base on pile on that ball Well, Tom is up on the dugout stress he's undecided whether to go out or not but He will not go out Mighty close play at first base and gets said Kenny was out it's a double play pitcher to hopper to measure

And Elston hard still carrying on the argument just a little bit with which he gets as Bobby Mercer steps in Mercer Homer In the first inning Well Bobby Mercer is 10th of the year he takes the strength Mercer waves the bat back and forth back and forth Though lines and deals Mercer swings in Mercer's fifth rip points the ball the way around strike deals The Yankees are leading to the nothing top and above the third He can about as deep as he can get in right field Well lined up the pitch Well outside one ball and two strikes Oh

One two pitch to Mercer And Mercer is out on strike But the Yankees no runs a base it there will no errors and nobody left at the end of two or a half the score is New York to Seattle nothing Your laddy beater is bringing you fine china from across the sea elegant delicate China you'll be proud to display on your table, but the big This exciting the beautiful China enjoys for us and can't take a low price lower than you believe Now for an exclusive offer at participating athletic leaders You can purchase a four-piece place setting of fine china at an exceptionally low price with each eight gallons of gasoline This offer may vary in some state each four-piece place setting consists of a cup, saucers, dinner, plate, and bread and butter plate We call this fine china royal elegant each delicate each catches the beauty and toothpaste the sets itself for many many times the price

He's 2 4 11 batting 182 He's knocked in two runs With a single and a double It's fall in Jeep country and during the driving to fall sales event get a great deal on four by fours that refuse to be contained like Jeep Wrangler

Jeep is one more awards over its lifetime than any other SUV brand Jeep in the Jeep Grill or Registered Trademarks of FCAUS LLC and The two nothing fish Again, all three stuff alarm I had the plate for downstairs A lot of moving around in the stands whether It's from folks still coming in of those will bend a concession stand we don't know three old pitch bell steps back takes it all the way three and one

Some beard rigors out here in the stands and see some little big guts Stubborn I three one bitch bell takes ball four down low So bell is on with lead off walk the first base on balls giving up by stubborn I Know that's truck out one allow to they sit the Yankees are leading to nothing in the ball game the batter will be tiny Harper For a stole might didn't want to walk But he's about to leave this harbor to run on the basis maybe it's not too bad an idea to have somebody on in front of it because he gets on He has 18 stolen bases He's become quite a favorite with the fans here at the other that's something the way base dealers are always proud places people like to see that action on the basis So the higher steps to him strike me out the outside corner You

No balls in one strike they all shortly to first have a ton holding the pitch offer swings or misses right to So I don't know how fan hopper leading off the first inning Oh Washing to the ins have turned out in mass tonight to see their native son Mel Stubborn Mel to the rubber Leans for good sign Checks about at first little and the pitch to harbor outside Bill keen as come up with a note there are four players on American Lake roasters who were born in the state of Washington and all four were originally signed by the Yankees Oh

One two pitch coming to harbor Strike three swinging He tried to check this wing and played on player John Rice held up until he got a sign From food based on player Bill Cumpold The Harper is out on strikes for the second time the second strike out for Stubborn One down and my keegan will be the batter I think that Gibbs might as well as charge something he's stacking out there In the way between the plate and the mound and sort of spitting on the ground And Gibbs just you a little bit sometimes it'll happen to you All right, Jerry. Well keep an eye down there. It's talking about four players from the state of Washington Gibbs Was looking down at his hand who was right hand he I Think I gave us some false information. It does appear to be a pen now He was spitting on the ground there and I thought maybe he'd smaller something

Well family is yeah, Joe's story because I have the glasses on it is going after that index finger Like you might have got a little sprit finger when he caught the ball And it'll happen occasionally to get your finger in front of the glove too quickly That seems to be the problem now as we've got the glasses on there putting a bandaid on that index finger was right hand You're talking about the four players from the state of Washington on an American Lake Grasters for an Andrews coming out now to keep stomach mile one Of course there's no stomach man Jim Odom that you with the twins Roger Reef all is an outfielder with the California angels and see what a good outfielder With the Seattle ball club the only four players on American Lake Grasters from the state of Washington You Here is Mike Egan Gibbs is okay now after so he's worked on the index finger of his right hand

Of a tone will not hold now against bell. He's gonna back off with a left hand hitting gigant up there Of its own will play halfway Trash and clock up the middle can he widen close up there the outfield to the right the pitch low to Egan ball one He can grind it out on assisted to pepper tone right down the line in first study So that has a bearing on the way Joe is playing you now Gratigue Bell the pitcher and extra step lead there at first base and being positioned for that round ball should it come his way Well deals and he can follow the back one ball one strike The Ш

about a mark taken to time. hands at the set and the pitch to Higan. Wow, back overhead. The four players we mentioned a moment ago from the state of Washington were all signed to contracts by Yankee Scout Eddie Taylor in this area. The Scout Jerry Charles, recently since 1959 for the Yankees. Southern Iowa's asked if the luncheon in his honor yesterday, why he chose the Yankees. The questioner said, I presume you had other offers than else have you presume wrong. One, two, three. Bouts to the right side. Clark charging, and all the one plays, got to hurry. There he is, down it first face in the close play. Bell moves up as Clark throws out Higan. Two down, and Tommy Davis will step in. Yes, milk said that he referred to Mr. Taylor. Because he only scouted ever made it across the mountains to the county where he was living.

I'm told it's a beautiful valley over there. They raised cherries and apples. Not too many miles from here. All right, Tommy Davis. Why do all in light smudders first time up? Takes a fastball on a wave. One ball and no strikes. Bell, it's second. The Yankees leading to the nothing in the ball again. You're in the bottom half of the third inning. Several miles then were gibson. And he is backed off at third. There's the set. And the one or the pitch. Rifle fall down the left side. When they get this ballpark finished, they get the finish. This park has been here a long time. When they get the improvements finished,

they tell them they'll be able to see about 28,500. They cannot see that many now. The seats that there are are pretty well built. We see some spaces out there in the bleachers, but not too many. I don't know what their biggest crowd of the year was, but I think it was just over 14,000 or somewhere in the city. And we could surpass that tonight without the weight and sleep. One one pitch will be coming to Tommy Davis. Bell, it's second. Two outs. Here it is, foul by. One ball and two strikes. Stubble miles as Tommy thought about pitching in a comparatively small ballpark. And he said it doesn't particularly bother him. He said we've got as many chances to score. A lot of runs as the other club. The reason it went away parked in bother him that much. I think he might give up a few more than normal, but he should score a few more. Right now it's two to nothing.

Yankees, the one two pitch to Tommy Davis. Fought slowly. Toy Kenny appeared. He's got it. Fires to Pemetone. In time. And the side is retired. And Jerry Kinney over their third base has made another play. No runs, no hits, no errors. The walk-amandler at the end of three, the score. The Yankees two and the pilot's nothing. At the scoreboard shows the Yankees two runs, three hits, no errors. The pilot's no runs, two hits, and no errors. Elsewhere, at the end of four and a half innings, Boston leads Auckland to the one, Maggie pitching for the Red Sox and Nash for Auckland. At the end of six and a half, the White Sox won and the tag is nothing. That game has been delayed because of rain. At the end of four and a half innings, Washington won California nothing, very more against Andy Muser-Smith. Sonnet is after having quite a winning streak going and now lost six in the road.

Mike Epstein, home-er for the only one in that ball game, is fifth of the year. Cleveland, at Kansas City, the Indians won at eight to six. Elsewhere, at the winner-rucker, the loser, fought in the fair home runs for the Indian, Fernandez, for Kansas City. And Minnesota beat Baltimore four to two in the twin cities, with Oswell, the one who played the loser, Carole, home-er to winning. And not a shade of the match four to three. Tender three Houston over Montreal, Dodgers and Thadal's rained out. Cincinnati beat Philadelphia six to four, San Francisco 116th, for a gate and Chicago 19th, San Diego 9th. We got to the fourth and going right along with it. Here's Jerry Coleman, Jerry. All right, Frank, right, right, stepping in there. It's fall in Jeep Country and during the drive into fall sales event, get a great deal on four by fours that refuse to be contained, like Jeep Wrangler. See if that's straight away, didn't feel the outfield. Gary Bell ready, the right hander slips on outside Roy White's a ball and two strikes. White has lost four ball games so far due to military duty and he'll lose a couple of weeks coming up in a not too far distant future. The one two pitch to Roy is just outside Bell's body at a two and two. White has 24 hits. In 91 at bats, five of those doubles, two herm's and 12 RBI's and seven stolen bases. White choking way up in the bat from the left side. A good six inches off the end. Here's the two two pitch at the check swing foul on the left side. The second base coach for the Yankees over there to retrieve it. Nelson Howard just does the job at first base for New York. This got an official recording on the largest crowd ever so far this year here at six

stadium. I hit one on the ground to the first baseman Don Muncher. Let's develop just in time as White slides in the first base but he's out of there. Roy going three to one. First base to the pitcher covering. The tap crowd so far this year was an opening day 15,000 and 14. It appears as though we have a packed house here tonight. Hello, in the region, it's pretty hard to tell because there are just little seats without the actual partition between each seat for a board and you can squeeze together much closer than they are out there tonight if you want to. Here's Joe Peppaton. Filed to the catcher in the bad unusual double play. That he takes outside ball one. Peppaton popped up to the catcher. Roy White went past second base and did not touch the bag coming back and on a peel play was out. The double play went 216. Joe Peppaton takes a little for two balls and no strikes.

The addon has made a couple of double plays tonight. One on the first and again on the third. But the Yankees out in front to nothing. One down right now, rim the fourth. Peppie on top of the plate. Holds the bat straight up and down, waits. Jerry Bell delivers Peppaton hits one high in the air behind the short stop. Roy White is going back. Now the left field. It's Tommy Davis coming in and falling off and makes the play. Two down. A far right now for a station identification. Harry Donney reminding you I could call you. Propside Donney's here on WKY10 on your dials connected. Here's Jimmy Hall moving in to fly the left field in the second inning facing the right handed veteran Gary Bell. All acquired in the expansion draft from the Boston Red Sock was under the wind up. The pitch to Hall is outside.

One ball, no strikes. We're just in. Red Team Jackson has hit just 11 for the Oakland days and they now lead. Oh wait a minute. Yes, they do lead the Boston Red Sock's three to two after five. I'll take the curve ball inside. Two balls, no strikes. Yankees play again tomorrow night. And then all night flight into New York. Well, I'll play on Thursday and at the stadium Friday evening against the California Angels. Jimmy Hall flying center field tonight waiting pitch by Bell misses outside the three endows. Three balls, no strikes. On deck, Tommy Tresh. Gary Bell looking in at the pilot dugout. Has the sign into the wind up. Here's the three O pitch to Hall and he takes the first right. Three and one.

Game started tonight. 70 degrees. And Frank told you one of the unusual streaks of fine weather and early May here in the Pacific Northwest. It's been beautiful last two days. The three one pitch to Hall up the middle of Bay set up. Sizzler over the glove of Gary Bell. A pitcher. Jimmy Hall comes up with a bay set. That's number four for the Yankees. A two out single in the fourth inning. Tommy Tresh who attempted to punt for a bay set on the second was thrown out by the pitcher moved in. Tresh hitting 189 as the game got underway. Tommy had a couple of bay sets last night. And a rough go over it as far as the hitting is concerned. Down to the end of the bat again. He swings the misses. Strike one. Tresh went way up off the end of the bat. Three or four inches. Now with each passing day seems to be creeping back with old habits.

Tresh actually I would say is not more than a half inch off the end of the bat right now. By moving out first the pitch to Tommy out in front of the swings of misses. Strike two. Nothing into the count. Yankees out in front to nothing for a inning. He just tuned in. Tresh it is 10th in the first inning. What a job Bobby Mercer has done for the Yankees so far. He is headed for the spot in the American League Alstar team this year. See how he can miss the way it's going. Leave the American League in our view. I have to 34 right now. Here's the pitch by Gary Bell. The Tresh shits outside. A bottom two strikes. Tommy was 18 bass hits in 96 out bats. Two double two triples. Got one of those doubles last night. And six RBI's. Tom waits. There goes well. Well, hit on the ground. To the right side.

Nice shot by Harper. Nobody can again as well as into third base. And Tresh has himself an infield single. Tommy Harper moves far to knock the ball down. Tommy Tresh has a strike single. Over a third base. So it's Jimmy Law. Fifth number five off Gary Bell. Two out and here's Jay Gibbs who walked in the second. Yankees was runners at first and third. And now, Jeremy McNerney, the catcher, up to have the word with a pitcher's Gary Bell. You can see Harper moving out to the ball and catching up to it. But when he knocked it down, he ran right by it. That's he could do. It's a stop. I'm going to say here, Jimmy Hall was traveling pretty well going around those bases from first to third two. He turned it on. Hall has deceptive speed. He started as a center field here with a Minnesota Swence. But he's been able to move around with pretty good speed through most of his career. Here's Gibbs. He takes high and outside for ball one.

Jay Gibbs. Starting at 2.19 is a game get underway. Back in action after that collision in opening with Campy Campaneras. Wide spread stance. Waiting from the left side. Here's the one out there. Shit outside. Two balls outside. So, Jerry Gibbs has quite a sense of humor. He has a deep south sense of humor. So I'm going about positions he played and I have Jay Gibbs played the outfield in the Major League. He's a little bit just having tried to go out past you for a couple of years to run for those lucky. He's catching just to be a long afternoon. Man, I'm going to pick up on those double headers. All right, Jake Gibbs. Here's a pitch by Balli. This is outside for 3.0. Just to see the record straight. Jake was getting it was just his sense of humor. He said he really enjoyed catching. He wasn't going to be able to catch it. He was going to be able to catch it. He was going to be able to catch it. He was going to be able to catch it. He was going to be able to catch it. He was going to be able to catch it.

He wasn't for sure about it at first, but since he started catching, he really enjoyed that position. And one of the reasons he enjoys it is because he's developed in one of the American League's bests and refined the fence of receiving. Gary Bell is taking a lot of time out there. So on the rubber now steps off. Three balls. No strikes. Two outs. Tresha first. Hall of Thirds. Gibbs at the plate. On deck, the pitcher. Mel Salamar. Not a bad hitter. There's the pitch to J.K. He takes it low in there. Loaded up. Second lock. Two J.K. Gibbs at number three. Off Gary Bell. Gibbs down to first. Tresha second. Hall of Thirds. And here's Mel Salamar, who lined each the left field in the second inning. Mel Salamar with a chance to help his own cause. The Yankees are leading two to nothing. But with two outs, the bases are loaded here on the fourth.

Bell will take his wind up. The first pitch by the right hander to Salamar was blowing inside for a ball. Hall of Third base. Tommy Tresha second. Gibbs at first. One ball, no strikes. Mel Salamar as John O'Donohus starts to warm up in the Seattle pilot bullpen. O'Donohus will left hander. Here's Bell ready. The one-off pitch. This is outside two and a half. You can see why the Yankees will see so many left hand pitches. Many as the other teams control at them because in tonight's lineup only one batter is back from the right side. That's Mel Salamar. Here's Sal Magley heading out to visit the Gary Bell. Magley, the pitching coach, the barber known by somebody New York fans. He's one of the few blood players in history who plays for all three. Oh, Maglow, you said what he had to say to Gary Bell. Gary Bell's been around this, I think, for the 11th year. Unless you can say it will feel like those things have settled down. Get the ball over, make this picture, hit you. The two-oh pitch, two-shot on my honor ground, a one-hopperer that lets y'all picture it. Based, the force is on such and the side is retired. For the Yankees, no run, thought two hits, three men left. But score after three and a half Yankees lead the Seattle Pilot to do nothing. Hi, this is Greg Morris with us there. Volunteers in service to America. You know, we're a lot like our mission impossible for us.

We're constantly running into problems. But unlike mission impossible, the VISTA volunteer can't solve this problem in 60 minutes of time. Like the people on our show, he needs patience, understanding and dedication. But he needs even more, because his job isn't glamorous, it isn't publicized, it isn't financially rewarding, it's just satisfying. It involves helping people up themselves to break the poverty cycle. And when you've helped people regain their proud and dignity, you've really done a year's work. That's what VISTA's all about. Hard work, low pay, and some dedicated people. Find out if you are right for VISTA. Find out if VISTA's right for you. VISTA, drop us a card. That's V-I-S-T-A, Box-A, Washington DC. V-I-S-T-A, Box-A, Washington DC. Well, we have just a moment here, startle my accomplices warm up.

So, I'll use that moment to remind everybody, well, finally moms and dads right now, as I imagine the youngsters post some truck away. A moment and remember, it's a big day for the youngsters. Sunday, May 25th at Yankee Stadium, because that will be Ball Day. Every boy and girl, 14 years of age and under a company buying a adult, will receive a free baseball courtesy of the Yankees. And you get two games for the client, so one there too, the Minnesota Quim's in for a dollar header. So we'll see all the youngsters on Ball Day Sunday, May 25th at the stadium. Right now, Frank gets no startle myer going up against Don Menture, Lane Colmer, and Rich Rollins moving into the bottom of the fourth inning, Yankee's leading, the pilots to do nothing. Startle myer's first fifth to Menture. He attempts to button Mrs. Strike 1. That's something you don't see this big guy do too well. I'm interested to scratch single the second, he'll the second, and he's one for one.

Don came into the ballgame, batting at 232. Seven whole runs, 17 RBIs. To keep up their jury and solve their double outfield, Yankee's a throw cut. Traction Clark way back there. All right, startle myer to Menture. Takes it low, one and one, this big guy. Who is in 10th inning on Sunday, he'll all run to win the ballgame, a lot of pilots against the Saturdays, six to five. Menture waiting, startle myer ready, the one, one, delivery is low. Two balls in a strike. Nice to see Jerry, the fellow like Don, Menture apparently has recovered from a rather serious beating at the E-Truck last year early in the season. Sometimes ballplay has never get over those things, as we all know. Others, his thoughts back, as there nothing ever happened. The 2-1 pitch by Mel is low and inside, took a little off the spare ball for three and one.

The pilots are trying to win their fifth straight. And the Yankees are trying to stop a five game slide, they've lost five in a row. They won their first one against California, but they lost the next one. And I am free and open in the one last night. Here's the free one pitch. Menture hit it on the ground, Clark goes left, knocked it down, Janie recovered, not inside. Menture gets a second infield hit the earth, Clark. A lead off single on the bottom of the fourth inning. Starts off the ball, moving to his left, but he was moving so rapidly that if he knocked the ball down, he just kept going by it, but at the time he recovered, he gets to it. Menture was on his first base, but the second infield hits. That's hit number three, off startle myer. Now here's Wayne Comer, hit into a fourth play on the second inning, right hand batter. Fired from the Detroit Tigers, batting a 254 right now, three homers, 11 RBIs. That's not too big, but he can reach the seats.

Those of you who may have just tuned in, the power alleys in right left center, only 345 here at 6 stadium in Seattle. Startle myer to Comer, fly to Mrs. Outside for a ball. The stadium is sick. SICK named after Amiel Sick, who was a long time owner of the minor league Seattle Rainiers, at Louisville, the brewery here. Rainier beer, local brewery on the west coast. There's a check swing cloud strike. One ball and one strike. It's only other name, the stadium jury. I thought the pitcher's got the other name. I can understand why they followed a sick ballpark in the... ...a little levity going here because of the short fences. Here's the one-one delivery. Filed up. One ball, he strikes Jim Bout and the extra Yankee came up with a great one the other day. He said that manager Joe Schultz won't even let the pitchers watch the other team take batting practice

because it upsets them so. You'll see what happens in batting practice. If you like Pepitone in batting practice, he hits four in a row deep into the tears in right field. The stopperg also is only a one-tier stadium. We're on the roof, and that's all there is to the second level. Just the press box. No seats up here. One ball, two strikes, nobody out. The third first, Yanke's leading two nothing. Stattle my arseires and call me, it's one high on the air to short left. Going back his trash coming on his right, right, falling for the ball makes the play. One away, and now the third baseman Rich Rowling, who's climbed the left field in the second inning, comes in. Rowling began his big leg career. In 1962, the Minnesota Clean stayed with him for the last year and now with the Seattle Pilot.

A couple of big years, 298 and 307 in his first two major leg years. Then sailed off to 249, 245, 245, 244. Right now Rowling is batting up 218. It's one on the ground, in the right field, almost got injured. Heading around towards second and gone. That's the second base, but then goes on the third as the ball is bothered by Bobby Mercer. That's a really Mercer, it will be faster than that. Brains day, Minto was almost hit by the ball, leaped over. Dr. Second base, when Mercer bobbled the ball, kicked off to his left, Minto continued on the third. That was really the yet end and error. It's the long, error charged to Mercer. Rutter's the first and third. One down, and the batter coming on now is the catcher, Jerry McTetney, who had an infield single in the second inning. That's hit number four up Salamayah, and the only yet to got out of the infield.

Four infield hits, all the more it's start. He's in the duty now, running back and forth, knocking him down, and I'm able to pick him up sometimes to throw the battered up. But Rowling finally gets one, into the outfield. The runners in the first and third, Yankee's are leading, two to nothing, we're in the last of the fourth, and here's Jerry McTetney. McTetney came into the ball game, batting 286. That's 17 base hits now, and 57 at bat. Chris is delayed, he's nothing of family happening. That's fair base, and the tower's open between Frank's and Cuddy. And on the tip, how everything is okay, as whatever Frank had to say, has been set. Ron Plaza, which is the first base for the pilots. Mentioned, that third Rowling's, that third, third, the ground ball just fouled on the left side. That's Jerry Kenny. Right one. Epitone is holding against Rowling.

Kelly is back, a third, fresh, and farce. A short and second double play depth fan, as you mentioned, Epitone holding against Rowling. This is the toughest spot the subtle mayors have been in in the ball game. Run down, the runners in the first and third. McTetney, right hand here to the way, here's the pick 5-0. Hit the left field, hit the right field, ready to hit. Here in McTetney, what's the final result in such an unexpected score? I think it's two, and that is McTetney's 3-1 of the year, RBI 11-12-13. That one over the 3-45 mark by about 10-Z, right-right standing at the best time. I'm a kid and do anything about it, and just watch it fail away. So the fighters take the lead, here on the bottom of the fourth inning, 3-2. A 3-1 shot by Jerry McTetney, a first home in of the year.

Now here's Ray Euler, the short shot to bounce the third in a second. He'll order back away from a high-end tight basketball ball run. And here after last night, getting on Saddlemire just a wee bit. That's what's precipitated the riot last night, and that knocked Mercher down, and Mercher fouled into Euler, and everything broke loose. Here's the 1-0 pitch by Mel, two Euler, in there, 11-1. I asked Mel Saddlemire if he was a little bit tense with his family here, and all of friends from brand-new and masculine. He said, well, he would be before the game started, as he was at that time, but he said, once I throw the first pitch, it's absolutely out of my mind. Right now at Subway, try the 499 sub of the day. and on third party delivery, add on taxes and fees for delivery additional. That's all, Mrs. Outside, the oiler. Two balls in a strike. I'll look countering with three here on the fourth lead, three to two. The two on pitch, bunnied by oiler down the first space side bow. I think some of my members with a family here are Jerry How about Jerry Gibb? I think he has army first sergeant is here tonight. Make anybody nervous in or out of the service. The new army first sergeant. Wonderful people, but they're stuck on the young recruits. The two two fifths, the oiler by Stottomire. Mrs. High for a full count. I was looking right along into the fourth inning, an infield single by Menscher, a single by Rollins and a whole number by McNurty, and a pilot to take on the lead, three to two both teams to find base hits.

Mel Fires, a three to five, got the shin guard of Jake Gibb at three and two as it holds. Totally dark out here now. Just turned that way about 20 minutes ago. The land of the midnight sun when you get up this north, this far north, the three to fifth oiler, get on the fifth for the short stop. Stottomire trashy waits for it, makes the play two out. Now Gary Bell of pitcher who walk on the third inning stepping in. Well, the hits go down by Menscher, McNurty, and the other stray, the single by Rollins. Menscher has two, McNurty has two. Five off Stottomire thus far. Here's Gary Bell waiting, as Mel misses outside for ball one.

Gary Bell has two hits. In 11 at fast, betting at 182. Mel again fires low and misses two balls and no strikes. Stottomire was first five ball games and then dropped his last two, has record of five and two right now, and no record against the Seattle pilots as thing is first outing against this ball club ever. Mel with a major league mark of 82 and 61. Bell waits to stottomire fires and Gary swings and misses two balls and a strike. Gary Bell has done a round of long time as we told you, and he's won 120 and lost 100 and 14. This record against the Yankees lifetime is 12 and 13, one and three so far this year. Bell takes high, three balls and one strike. Two out, three runs in, pilots leading the Yankees three to two, last to the fourth.

Big crowd on hand, looks to be a capacity house. Mel ready, the three on pitch on the way to Bell. He misses the ball four and Stottomire. Strangely as not, has worked only two better, both time is been good. Yes. In 11 at fast, betting at 182. Mel again fires low and misses two balls and no strikes. Stottomire was first five ball games and then dropped his last two, has a record of five and two right now. And no record against the Seattle pilots as thing is first outing against this ball club ever. Mel with a major league mark of 82 and 61. Bell waits to stottomire fires and Gary swings and misses two balls and a strike. Gary Bell has been around a long time as we told you and he's won 120 and lost 114. This record against the Yankees lifetime is 12 and 13, one and three so far this year.

Bell takes high, three balls and one strike. Two out, three runs in, pilots leading the Yankees three to two, last to the fourth. Big crowd on hand, looks to be a capacity house. Mel ready, the three one pitch on the way to Bell. He misses from ball four and Stottomire. Strangely as not, has worked only two betters, both time, this been Gary Bell and the third and again on the fourth. Mel is struck out of there and the man coming to the plate right now is the guy got twice and the first and the third innings, Tommy Harper. Upper leads the major league and stolen bases at 18. Now Gibbs is out talking to Stottomire as Mel, either regain the composure that he seems to have at all times and suddenly lost when he walked Gary Bell.

Tommy Harper uniform number 21, flying second base, where the pilots. Two down at first base, Gary Bell. Mel Stottomire and the Yankees trailing by a run, three to two. The first pitch by Mel, one hopper back to Stottomire, he has it, walks over to Pepetong fires to Joe in time and the side is retired. Mel took about three steps towards Pepetong before throwing the ball. Four of the pilots, three runs on three base hits, one Yankee error, one man left, the score after four innings of play. Pilot three on the Yankees two. A portable bedside computer is helping to save the lives of people suffering from shock. The development of this shock cart was made possible by grant support from the NIH National Heart Institute. This device enables physicians to get important medical data needed for the proper treatment of patients in various stages of shock.

A serious hindrance to the successful treatment of such patients has been the excessive time needed to convert raw data on blood pressure and other factors into meaningful information. The new bedside computer gives this information easily in a matter of minutes. Physicians at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City have used the shock cart with more than 100 patients and they report that the system provided rapid assessment of the type and severity of shock in these patients, as well as a check on the patient's responses to treatment. Bringing the results of research into practice is supported by the National Institutes of Health. Top of the Yankee batting order, Horace Clark followed by Jerry Kenney and Bobby Mercer coming on to face Jerry Bell. Pilot leading the Yankees three to two as we go into the fifth. Road spreading picture Bell and Staddle Meyer still in there. The first pitch by Bell to Clark hit at the center field, way back there moving on it and under it is Wayne Comer reaching out to his gut at the first out.

One fifth one down here in the fifth for the Yankee. Clark is one for three now as Jerry Kenney moves in. Kenney single the left, still second but didn't have to worry about getting home when he Mercer popped his ends of the year into the right field seats. All runs accounting for all the scoring a two run shot by the Yankees Bobby Mercer, a three run shot by the pilot Jerry McNerney. Kenney and his other at bat bounced into a double play. One fifth runs to Bell on the mound, fire to miniature two down. Two pitchers two outs. The ball was run at two hard and right to Gary Bell. Well going one three picture the first. Here's Bobby Mercer. Hit the two run one run at the first inning, struck out at a third. I said that's scrimmy slash night you can hear the fans getting on Bobby just a little bit.

Two down nobody on. Bell under the wind up the pitch to Mercer is outside for a ball. Here's Basin Rowlands in very tight and wide of the line to be in Bobby about 20 feet. Here misses outside the two and O. Mercer unloaded on Bell in that first inning and then Gary went to off-speed pitching. On junk the second time he was up there and got him on slow breaking stuff as Bobby struck out. Here's the two out pitch by Bell. Good ball hit hard to the first baseman mentioned. The race is on and down's going to win it. And the fight is retired and Gary Bell gets out of that and he only has five pitches. He's easy to make it. Three up and three down and the score after four and a half at the pilot's three and the Yankees two. Spring is the traditional time of the year to get out and goal. Maybe because it's dead Jim sitting in the Yankee booth and maybe keeping his eye on him he might be pressing somewhat. Slames that's not in our first pitch and this is first right. Egan was batting. It doesn't get anything to know you'll go under it. Egan Files just went up on the left side. No balls, two strikes.

The ball kicked off the railing just to our left, so almost went back on the top of Egan's head. He was looking up at it. Fortunately, otherwise it could have been conquered. No balls and two strikes. Milach leading the anchies in the bottom of the fourth three to two. Both teams with five hits, the anchors have made one error. The error did not really have anything to do with the scoring just advanced to run her an extra base. There's a drag, the left field coming on is really wide. He's waiting for it and has it. Egan hits the ball well, but quite standing right there. Mike Egan, now 0-4-3. Here's Tommy Davis who's 0-4-2 and what a job Davis did last night. Davis? With the bases loaded, drilled a double to score three men and with another double, drilled another one. He had four big ones last night. Tommy Davis, from the right side, waits to start a Meyer liver as if some foul back and we pull us for station identification.

This is Jerry Ducy, down the night line any week night at RB Listening on WGY's connectivity. Mel's not a Meyer, ready again now. No balls and a strike on Davis. Here it comes. He tries to bump, falls it back on the screen for strike two. Jerry Kenny playing back on Davis, spotting him, trying to lay one down there. Don't you think these major league ball players don't know a singer? Do they know who the guys are who don't have a great deal of experience and a position? They've bundled a lot on Bobby Mercer this spring and with Kenny in there and he's playing deep. Davis trying to lay one down there. They know, let's talk about it, spread the information. Here's the two strike delivery and the dirt, a ball and two strikes. Now works the same for the Yankees against the opposition. Get your with an arm that doesn't feel so good or has been thrown too well. The Yankee roadrunners often running or a pitcher that doesn't hold a man on, they take off.

Here's the one two pitch to Tommy Davis. He misses outside the style of Meyer and it's two balls and two strikes. One down and nobody on. Fifth inning, three to two, pilot leading the Yankees. Now to Meyer ready, the two two pitch to Davis. While back in the counter, there's two balls and two strikes. Tommy Davis signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers, so he could play in Brooklyn. Very joined him, so he went to Los Angeles. Before this way back to the East, only going with the Met and the White Sock and now I'll hear with the pilots. The history he made the cycle. Here's the two two delivery, it's low. Three balls and two strikes. A full count. One out. Davis had that severe ankle break.

And the fight must have said he has never been the same. The payoff pitch to Tommy, hit on the ground of the shortstop trash, he's got it. The other hand, Flop is in time and Davis is out of there. Ran into a man tonight that most of you may never have heard about. He played for the Boston Braves in 1948, the year the Braves won the center. His name is Jesse. Three days before the Braves were about to wrap it up and go into the World Series, he broke his ankle and missed his great chance in life to play on a World Series. That was the only opportunity he ever had, and did he break it? Oh boy. Right now Don Mentor is up there with two straight singles. Swings and fouls, the first pitch back strike won. That's Boston Braves' ball club and those days had same spawn as the pitchers, Brent Bickford, Jetta Guy, the right-handed, Alvin Dark Eddy Stanky, quite a ball club.

They lost in the series to the Cleveland Indians. Here's the one strike pitch, now to Mentor, it checks the foul on the left side, strike two. I've run that out because Jeff Heath literally had his major league career ended. Looked as though the leg almost was sub-grader from the ball, and there's one of those most vicious looking pictures you've ever seen. Some of you may remember it, many, many years ago. No ball, two strikes, two outs. Mentor waiting, not a Meyer, throws one in a dirt, scooped up by a yellowb's a ball and two strikes. Filocer leading three to two, Mercer's two run homer on the first, put the Yankees ahead but McNurtney's three run shot on the fourth. Put the pilot down the front. Now the one-two delivery to Mentor. Back some away, two and two. Not Mentor was a big man for the Minnesota twins, went to the California Angels, drafted from the Angels by the pilots.

They made some good selections. There's a two-two pitch to Mentor. It had hard to step upon he's standing right there to retire the side. The bus ball, Mentor, sits tonight on the only time he didn't get a hit. Three up and three down and the score after five, pilots three Yankees two. Then take some, um, Royal Elecans is worth a trip to your Atlantic Station. Believe me. Well, Frank, master the ground crew with the little kite out there, manicuring the in-field, getting things organized as we go into the sixth inning. It'll be a while. I've got four men working, one with a sort of a rake at each base, and then one fellow with a great big, um, sort of a piece of tight plan that he drags around behind the little cart. And he's got about two more sweeps to make before we're ready. They do this at Yankee Stadium, but they do it a little more rapidly, and it's only been in recent years that they've done it. Here's a little note I read in the paper, and I didn't know this. Does anybody out there know which team was the first team to put numbers on their backs and what year? Well, in the paper today, it told us the whole story.

The New York Yankees were the first ones, and it happened in 1929. And that's something I didn't know. So did you read the papers? What did you find out? That's right. You never know what you might find out. Who was it? We'll write you a set of, um, only know what I read in the papers, and it'll leave all of that. Well, in those days, Frank, the numbers, given the players, were given to them in the manner in which they get in the batting order. And Ruth was number three, and Jerry was number four. So the Yankee's trailing by run as we go into the top of the six inning. It's a three to two ballgame. Roy White, the number four man, moving in, he'll be followed by Peppaton and all. Somebody left a gate in the center field fence open, and the center fielder, Lane Comer has to go out there and close it. Now, Comer makes the trot back in. What a ground good hope for the door. We got the close.

The chances are, the ball going in there, it'll be very slight, but it could happen. Alright, Guy Bell getting the sign from his catcher, McNurtney, the first pitch to White. On the way, hit the center field, Comer, right there, Lane Ford, one away. The ball was well hit and Comer didn't have to move the step. One down. Right now is over two, he walks and bumps the first in his other outbats. Here's Peppaton, who fouled with the catcher, lying to left. Both Peppaton has not been hit. Peppie is one to twenty seven on this roadside. He's the guy of the Yankees have got to have with that bat to move along. There's a high pot on the left side, coming for it, the third baseman, Rollins, the catcher McNurtney, nobody can get to it. In case you weren't with us last night, the left field corner of six stadiums here in Seattle is totally out of our view,

and also a part of the stadium just under it. We have to stand up and lean over to see whether or not to catch her or the third baseman gets to those pop-ups. Down the left field line, we just have to watch the pitcher to find out if the ball has been caught. We actually cannot see the left field corner. The one strike fits to Peppie. Too happy to the first baseman, Menture. The other hand flipped the ball as in time, too up and too down. The IAPO has retired the last six minutes late. But the last man, Staddlemar on the fourth inning, three up and three down on the fifth and the first two here on the sixth. Here's Jimmy Hall, always a dangerous batter. Fly to left, single to center. I came into the ball game hitting and even 250. As the Yankees doing much better, he came to the Yankees from the Indians, 0 for 10. Jimmy takes a strike.

Record for most four runs by a left-hand batter as a rookie. With 33 when he was with the twins. He beat Ted Williams record, Ted had 31. So one strike fit to Jimmy Hall? Outside one and one. It's a good thing he had the 33 because Tony Oliva has a rookie the next season, a left-hand batter hit 32. Red stock can up to 28 to move out in front of Oakland, 403. The Red stock's showing surprising strength. Yes, Storsky, fit one just eight. There's a high drive, right field, near the barrier. My T-Gun at the wall makes the play. Jimmy Hall and a good for home run so short by about 8 feet. Three up and three down for the angst on the score after five and a half. Pilot three Yankees two.

For the scoreboard total here at 6 stadiums show the Yankees two runs private and the pilots three runs from the market. For all the scorings come on homers. While he merciless of homers for the Yankees in the first inning after a single by Jerry Kinney. And then in the fourth inning Jerry McNerkees the pilots catcher of homers with two men on for the three to two lead. And we go to the bottom half of the six with Jerry Colman. His Wayne Colman coming on is over two facing startle man. Yanks trailing by a run. Colman takes the north of ball one. Tomorrow night in this breakaway ball game between the yanks and the pilots it'll be the rookie for the Yankees build burbac going against Mike Marshall. The one-o-pitch to Colman outside two balls no strikes. Startle man. We'll have Colman, Rotten and McNerke to pitch two here on the sixth inning. McNerkees was a guy who caused the damage from the L3 run shot on the fourth.

Startle man getting the side from Gibbs. O'Lean Yankee right-ander into the wind up. Here's the two-o-pitch. It's in there for a strike two and one. Yankees have lost five straight and 12 of the last 13. But there's a bright side to their record which right now was 12 and funny. The space split in the next two ball game. Battlemire to Colman, it's low. Three on one. Some other record of 13 and 21 in 34 ball game. And that will match exactly their record at the same time last year. Yankees came on very strong in the second half. And more throughout half of it looking for this club to pick up again this season. O'Leaner takes a strike three and two, a full count. Yankees return to the stadium Friday night against the California Angels for that weekend set. Saturday afternoon, ladies day and a double header on Sunday.

Startlemire to pay off 50 Colman. Here it comes and Wayne Twings and Mrs. Strike three. Third strike out for Startlemire. He got her for twice and now Colman here in the sticks to lead off the inning. One away, here's Rich Rollins. Rollins slide to left, single to right. Rollins taking a look at the third base coach, Frank Presetti. Five to three Yankees two. The last half of the six, both teams with five base hits. Battlemire, the sign from Gibbs. Ready, delivers, grab both foul on the left side. Strike one. Rich Rollins a few years back when he was in his heyday and had his peak with a twin. Every time he came to the Yankees stadium, many of them had a whole matter to. Well, he really just broke our backs there. And suddenly, Rollins ran into some tough days and lost his job as a starter.

Harmon Killabrub came on and took it away from us for a while. Rollins was a starter call, Jerry came up with a bad knee a few years ago and I think that's parallel to his slope. This on the imaginary glass star team. In 1962. There's a ground ball, trashed to his left. Near the bag, the other hand flip is in time to pepper-tarm two down. Nice play by Tommy moving towards second base. Two up and two down and out. Here's McNirtney, who's two for two. A stacked single to Horace Clark in the second, a three-run hammer and a course. Now is McNirtney's first one of the years we mentioned before and I'll be eyes 11, 12 and 13. Jerry McNirtney, former white sock catcher. Waiting as battlemire fires low for a ball.

Roy White, the left fielder, is almost at the warning track. Automire two McNirtney clear misses outside two and O. Now being careful with this guy, he pumps one over the 345 sign not too much over it but enough. Roy White was right there, if he mentioned trying to find the well and couldn't get any farther. Stautomire, the two-o-titch on the way McNirtney hits it on the ground in the whole trash as it. The throw is in plenty of time and the side is retired. So it's three up and three down. The score after six full earnings applied. Violet three in the Yankees two and now a second. First of all, allow me to express my thanks and my gratitude for the careful and conscientious work that I have found in your new service and in all of your broadcasts. I've listened for a long time and regularly to your program, what good luck it is that you exist.

Otherwise, we'd have to live completely misguided, hearing only magnet cliches about the world. For my part, your best program is the news, but I also like very much your science, cultural and farm program. I can assure you that a major part of Hungarian youth enjoys listening to teenager party. Of course, we listen to the news before and after. Let's read the Yankees too as we go into the seventh and how to carry you along and down to the wire here is Frank Messer. All right, Jerry Colvin. Thank you very much. And it was so good eating the bottom third of the batting water for the Yankees. Tom Trish, Jake Gibbs and the pitcher, Mel Stuttle Meyer.

Trish tonight has gone one for two. He tried to bunny himself on in the second inning. He was thrown out by Bell, the pitcher. Then he beat on an infield hit to the second basement harbor in the pool. Venture plays in down Milan and deep at first place. Shortstop lay orders, one well around toward the bag, harbor midway between first and second. Breaking pitch misses, ball one. Outfield bunches throw at the middle to give up both foul lines, Trish, figuring if he hits the outfield it'll be pretty much straight away. Gary Bell has retired seven of the roles since walking Gibbs in the fourth, right under one's and deals. Trish takes high and outside, two balls in no strikes. Bell looks down at Jerry McNutney for the sign. Rocks back on the left foot, the kick in the pitch,

and the ball the way to the seat on the first base side. I'm just to hear the attendance tonight because the biggest crowd here at Seattle Soap Art this year has been 15,014 on opening day when the Seattle pilots played the Chicago White Sucks. Bell over the line up, two on pitch to Trish. On his swings and misses, swing himself right out from under his helmet and cap. Pilot's leading three to two. Mercer, a two run homer for the Yankees in the first, and McNutney a three run homer for the pilots in the fourth. Trish steps back from the plate, squeezes the upper part of the bat hand over he has a supply of walls. Now goes back in. Bell winds and deals two and two.

Trish takes high full count pre-enthusiol, down on McNutney at both sides of the strike. So to some of the grandstand, umpires you can hear them. Bell over, pay our fixed detress. Bell in motion and it's on the way. Trish sends it out to right field in the air, moving toward the corner of his hegan in parallel territory makes the catch. Toyota's easy choice sales event is on. Whether you're looking for the performance of the camera, the versatility of Arab 4, the efficiency of a Corolla or all electric driving in the BZ. There's a Toyota that's just right for you. And with great deals across the lineup, now's the time to find yours. But hurry, these deals won't last long. Toyota's easy choice sales event ends soon. We make it easy.

Toyota, let's go places. Justin, part of the World of Problem, got on the far right field ball corner. The trash is retired on a ball-plot of hegan. Jake Gibb steps in, Jake is walked twice tonight. Gary Bell has given up three walks, the Toyota Gibbs and one to Roy White in the first inning. The pitch, low ball on. Honest waiting, three to two. Top of inning number seven, one out nobody on for the Yankees. Bell, the Jake Gibbs. Swung on, drive on the right field, deep hegan back to the fence as rule makes the catch radical.

Heal's that it were all by hegan back to the fence. Made the catch, stood out, and it brings up Nell's subtle mind. Nell has fly the left hand, rather than one wing-in-dune fourth place. Which runs for text-aligned, deep behind the back, at third, just a couple of steps off the ball line. Bell lines and his pitch to subtle mind, they can low ball one. Ball two down low, dug out of a very fine McNerkey. Two balls in no strikes, Gary Bell wandering around at the skin part of the mound, rubbing up a new baseball.

And the two nothings that strike call to subtle mind. Two balls one strike, two outs in nobody on. Two outs, nobody on the pitch, strike two balls. What a nine out of the outside part of the plate. Subtle mind, take a strike at that time, but no swing. Bell is now retired nine in the world. The veteran right hand are ready to work the subtle mind, struck him out. Stopped by an McNerkey, tagged subtle mind at the plate. Three up three down, nothing across, and at the end of six and a half, the score remains. The pilot's three in the Yankees two. Didn't? Didn't.

That better. Our cigarette topic today is how to cough. Now of course all cigarette smokers cough, but some do it so timidly. They seem to be apologizing for destroying their lungs. Well, look at it this way, if you don't have a right to destroy your lungs, who does? Smoked cigarettes and cough proudly. Just broke the strap on my wrist once. A friend of my once cough is contact lenses through a quarter inch play class window. That's overdoing it. Actually a less powerful cigarette cough can rack your lungs pretty good, like this. Save it. That sounds good. I've got a vein in my chest here too. Maybe I better see a doctor myself. For more on cigarette coughing, call your American Cancer Society. Well, we've gone through six and a half, and the Yankees are trailing the Seattle pilot's three to two.

And this big crowd here at Six Stadium, they have a rather pleasant thing as they go through. And the seventh inning stretch for the home fans, they get up and sing, take me out to the ballgame, and it comes through loud and clear. Maybe something better tried Yankees Stadium over now and get the kids started and teach them the words. Really drop the bottom half of the seven. The water is open too, granted us a kelly of third and parts of the short stop sound brush. Can we have played flawlessly a third day so far? The pitch. The water checks its swing, takes its strike. Can you handle the sea alone? The re-chances of fifth days. One strike pitch.

Check swing on outside. One ball, one strike. Can he play Hebrew with the bag against water? The pitch from startle my ass. One on a mid strike to one ball to strike. Pilot's leading three to two bottom half of any number seven. I think the A's at edge ahead of the boss and Red Talks with two runs in the bottom of the eighth pitch. Now five to four ballgame, a real battle going on down there. We have an infield for him. One to pitch. Check swing is low. Two ball, two strikes. The close field of may not have heard any of our blood cast from Oakland. I think we mentioned it every night. The grass part of that infield down there in the Oakland Coliseum was very, very hard. The dirt part of the infield was quite soft, except for the running track, Hank Bar, had their rolled.

The ground screw rolled out hard at the edge of the infield grass to give both campanars primarily. Running space to two pitch. In the dirt. Four cowfriens ill. Nobody out, nobody out. Stop the line has retired the last seven batters east space since walking bell in the port. The wind up, three to six to one. Four. Four to one, the lead off the seven. The third walk in the pipe, Stuttlemire, now that's also struck out to lead. The storm will hold against the base runner and the Yankees Stuttle looks for a block right now, from Mr. Gary Bell. His walkway gives request time goes to the mound. The insetlemire meets just in front of the mound and now Papa Tom is going to come across, getting on the conversation, get the strategy set here.

I'll they'll play the expected one from Bell. The bottom center field, Junihol, has come in very shallow. Mercer, shallow and right. White to deep man in left field. Fresh and clogging about halfway. Here's the pitch bell, bunched on the ground towards Stuttlemire. Melpic, shut up, wants it. Goes the first in time. Stuttlemire, what a strike, the double play. Wanted to throw the second base on that one and couldn't find the handle. He was just from the back. He just went to eager to throw that ball back to second and drop it. Bell will be credited with a sacrifice he has out. Stuttlemire, have a call and here's coming up. Papa is struck out twice and set a one-hopper back to Stuttlemire. Water at second. Here's the man these Seattle fans want to see get on base.

Tommy Harmer, who has 18 stolen bases. He's a right handler. The first pitch-joint, low outside ball one. Any about a step behind the bag and fairly wide of a line at third. Thresh shaded over toward the bag at second and so's quark. Papa told wide and deep at first base the outfield bunches towards center. Water pretty fairly at second. Stuttlemire gives him a look. Beals the plate, low outside again and gives on his knees towards. Two balls and no strikes to Tommy Harmer. And with that pitch, a wave goes out to the bullpen from Fitching Coach Jim Turner. And the jackets come off. Lindy McDaniel will begin loading up. Two balls, no strikes to Harmer.

Why not slating three to two? Two nothing pitch. Outside ball three. Lindy McDaniel is giving a very up call. He's throwing hard to start with out there. Three of the strike balls. Thresh and quark up the middle. Now it takes his time. It gives slown him down a bit. Three one pitch now.

It's the longest through Gibbs. And one of it is not trying to go to third. It's ball four and one for his own. One of the I don't think realized that ball got a spot pass Gibbs as it did. He could have thought. Down down the third base. Right now, New York Yankee Baseball we pause for station identification. Join me, Harry Donney, weekday 10-11-30 AM and 3-6 AM. Here on WGUI 8-10 on your dials, good activity. Meet the Red Bull Dragonberry Emergizer. One of the many new drinks out now. Who knew ice cold drinks could be so? Fire. Try them all only at McDonald's. Toyota's easy choice sales event is on. Whether you're looking for the performance of the camera, the versatility of Arab 4, the efficiency of a Corolla,

or all electric driving in the BZ. There's a Toyota that's just right for you. And with great deals across the lineup, now's the time to find yours. But hurry, these deals won't last long. Toyota's easy choice sales event ends soon. We make it easy. Toyota, let's go places. Meet the Red Bull Dragonberry Emergizer. It's one of the many new drinks out now. Who knew ice cold drinks could be so? Fire. Try them all only at McDonald's. There are runners that first and second give, again, goes to the mound. Sometimes a catcher will realize that a picture has lost his stuff, not to say that that is what has happened now, but sometimes, first catcher will be the first one to realize it. And for a man working in a bullpen, after sometimes, we'll play for the next time.

Right now, met at first and second for the pilots one-out. That'll mark, let's see a double-play as he gets steps in. Finally, three to two. Any at the edge of the grass down a third against for left-hand butter. Wark and fresh, both squeeze into a second. I'll feel deep and right, set by that'll mark, and the pitch to Mike Egan, low of all one. Egan has rounded out to fellow-to-arms to court and fly to left. Welcome, step forward, let it and the pitch. Try his goal. Me high at the inside, both of the plate on Mike Egan. We'll form the favor today for Mike Egan,

somebody asked him what he was doing on the fight throw. God bless, man, life wasn't the day. One one pitch from Starramire, Egan, twice foul off the under the bat, but that's right. Vick Ziegel came up to the great quote for that, sort of a cap it off. He said, well, if Jim Egan gets a hold of Mike Egan, I'll probably spank him. What are its second hopper? It's worse. Starramire, the one ball just strikes out on Mike Egan. Working very deliberately now. Set some rolls, and there's a line right on the left side of the field,

maybe a tweeter, white cuts it off in the alley, racing half-wire around here and stopping now as my first Egan stops at first base, and the pilot plays for the field. That brings roll-how out of the dugout. In racing off the alley left side, only Roy White remember to speed just that ball off in the alley and kept a second run from scoring, and just Egan from drawing at least a second and possibly the third. A ball was well-dressed. Out of the mound with Starramire, Egan's 50th run that it in, obviously, is first hit tonight. And now he has thickened over the ball, and he wants Mindy McDaniel. So, Mel Starramire will leave here in the seventh inning, and he's fixed six and one third. Allow to this point of the ball to need four runs, six bases,

what four and struck out three. The runners are history's responsible of the Americanity corner, top-right third, and Egan at first. Starramire Daniel comes in and starts to loosen up on the mound, Jerry Fallen has some other action points. All right, thank you. Look at the scoreboard of the American Lake first open, leading Boston five to four with a red sock batting in the top of the night. You're Stimsey and with an apple for the red sock, Jackson did one for the open days. And Mel Starramire, getting a near-standing ovation here, as he leaves the field, somewhat upset and disheartened over the fact that he couldn't finish the job he set out to do. And rising and giving him a standing ovation. Detroit leads the white sock three to one there playing the ninth, Northfield had a home run for Detroit. California won and the senator won playing the ninth. Morton had run only seventh for California, Epstein hit one on the first four of the senators. Cleveland beat Kansas City eight to six,

a home run by Hernandez, and that one for Kansas City, and Horton, Tony that is, had two for the Indian. Minnesota four, the Orioles two, Radke, last we saw it was leading the American Lake and hitting, got a home run on the eighth inning to cast that one off for the Minnesota Twins. The four to two score by the Twins over the Orioles. Fortford and Leganford. Dartmouth Daniel comes in and starts to loosen up on the mound, very calling Madison over at the fourth. Alright, thank you. Look at the scoreboard of the American Lake first open, leading Boston five to four of the rest thoughts batting in the top of the night. You're still speed over the navel for the rest thoughts. Jackson did one for the open age. No, subtle, my Arab. Getting a near standing ovation here, as he leaves the field, somewhat upset into such a over the fact that he couldn't finish the job he set out to do. And rising and giving him a standing ovation.

Detroit leads a white stock street of one there playing the ninth, Northrop out of home run 40 strikes. California one and the senators one playing the ninth. Morton had run on the seventh for California F-Bing hit one on the first four to the senators. Cleveland beat Kansas City 8 to 6, the home run by Hernandez. In that one for Kansas City and important, only that is had two for the Indian. Minnesota four, the Orioles two, Radke, and the Roode last we saw was leading the American League in hitting. Got a woman on the eighth inning to cast that one off for the Minnesota twins. The quarter two score by the twins or the Orioles, caps off the American League. In the national league, the Braves beat the Mets four to three, home runs by Aaron 516 lifetime, so Pada and Tillman for the Braves age he had one for the Mets. Houston beat Montreal 10 to three. LAF-A Louis Postal because of brain. Cincinnati beat Philadelphia 6 to four, Parallel and May for Cincinnati, Californian for the Philly-Hommered. San Francisco 11 to Pilot 8, Henderson,

get one in that one for San Francisco, Robner and Oliver for Pittsburgh. And because the San Diego Padres 19 to nothing, Langshed up there, Oliver and Young get them for the cut. Right here is Pilot four and the antidote for the action still going on in the field. We're in the bottom of the seven inning and Alex for back to find that. All right, Jerry and here's Linda McDaniel of the record of two and two coming on to pitch to Sammy Davis. The Pilot has letters of first and third one-off, having gone the hole against Tegan at first base. Far from the third on the first pitch from McDaniel strike call, pass ball goes run to this. Sammy Davis tonight is number three. It took running catch by Hall to retire him in the first inning. And then McDaniel is in his 11th game in relief. The most games of any Yankee pitcher in. All right, Andrew.

Jackson draws. Addy as low to Sammy Davis. One ball one strike. Daniel owns the only save for the Yankee ballpen for the year's nine run average of 4.76. In 17 and in, he's about 22 this. Watched for a truck out nine. One ball one strike. One out. Now the first and third to fifth. Jackson swaying in its low. Good ball's in a strike. Now we have the attendance figure. 19,072. The largest job ever to watch a baseball game in the state of Washington. The old record year at Seattle was 15,14 opening day of the year against Chicago. Quite a tribute to Mel Stoutelmeyer, the Yankees,

and the Seattle ball club with four wins in a row. Here's the fifth today that's passing ball over the head of the pitcher in McDaniel. Strike, tag, seeking for the only out the run score. Sammy Davis reaches on a fielded choice as far first score is from third and the pilot now leads five to two. But it's Sammy Davis with a run that it in. And our guy mentioned the first person. Mission three tonight, short one run. Both as it's been in fielded. It's the ball suddenly in the fifth and a line drive was sought by Salvador. I'll be right now, holding against Davis. There's a pitch low ball. I can quick when just in, the Oakland A's have defeated the Boston Red Sox five before,

so they maintain the pace for the Minnesota twin. All right, Jim, quite a ball of use. Five years five to two, Seattle leading. They've laid the way from first. Not sure if the highest line ball out in the last field. Roam for white. Few steps to his right. You know, stuff. Love out makes the catch and the side is retired. But the pilot's come up with two runs, not only one day's shift. There were no Yankees here as the man left. At the end of seven, it's Seattle five in the Yankees school. The top of the batting order for the Yankees as we go to the eighth, what Kenny and Murphord. Black is one for three. Kenny is one for three and Murphord is one for three. Five years owner doesn't first say. Black's trying to get something strut up against Gary Bell. The right hander ones and deals. Black listed a ball one or five. Bell has retired the last 10 Yankees. Black face running with Gibbs who walked in the fourth. Ding Dong deals and Clark bounces one of the second baseman hopper over the first one down. Gary Kenny steps in. Yankees had the first same first inning scoring combination tonight as they had last night with one out Kenny drilled a base shirt and Murphord. Kenny tonight is third base for the first time and you major league career.

Single in the first inning, still second and then with double play in the third and was thrown out on a body in the fifth. Tip discipline up in the air to left field coming you few steps. This time he Davis makes the catch and there is two down. Kenny is lost in the Davis and left. Go away and body Murphord. Murphord is still hearing from the Bluebird. Imagine the monster can expect that everybody comes with the ballpark now on. Bell fifth to him. He takes it let it high strike one. First Peterson getting a little working down on the Yankees open. One strike that's outside. People strike part of night against the California Angels.

He's just losing up a little bit tonight. You ask nobody on Bell with a one one such coming down to master. Here it is. Body takes it over the five. All two, two and one. First is no run in the first inning with the offensive of the year. Getting 34 runs that it is. He takes this one a bit outside and it is last three. What's his thought it was ball four? Start it down the first phase and start the battleway. What is ball three? It's got a three and one. And that gives fans no more enjoyment of his expense. Three one, fifth join.

Five back over the roof while left. And that's still the counter three and two. 19,072 in this ballpark tonight. And that is close to capacity. Three two pitch. First to five another one over the roof while left. Gary Bell gets a new baseball steps back off the pitchers now to rub it out. The wind of it. Get on the ground of second. Hopper up with a clean lead. Dimension and the fight of the day. The Yankees for fourth inning in a row are set free up free down by Gary Bell. And at the end of seven and a half it's the out of five the Yankees do. You know seals real draft beer really does give you the right from the keg flavor.

And it does give you smoother pressure taste. So there's one thing seals doesn't give you. So filled up feeling you get with some of the other beers. Well there's nothing so refreshing these warm days as a good cold beer. But if your beer fills you up while it's cooling you down. Well who needs it? The great thing about seals it doesn't lead you with that filled up feeling. Now that's because seals is real draft beer. Yes seals are putting real draft beer in bottles and cans. And that's the people that seals believe it makes the difference. That's what convinces beer drinkers that seals beer is better than their beer. It's smoother, fresher, and best of all it's lighter. Peels won't leave you feeling filled up. So why not try seals yourself? I know that you'll be convinced too that seals real draft is better than your beer. Or should I say the beer that used to be your beer? Try seals real draft beer.

Thought of having the eighth inning coming along for the Seattle pilots. If we'll bring Wayne Comer Rich Rollins and Jerry McNickney to the plate again. Lindy McDaniel, not a Meyer and Six and a Thirvonnings give a five runs all earned on six-difts walk four struck out three through those four walks, 30 of the sevens, any of those they both score at Oilers and Hubbard. Like a quick note by Bob Fishle, the humidity at game time is 55%. It's now 78%. The feeling is at six stadiums, Seattle, that if all runs are going to be hits, you have to do it fairly early because the air so that heavy humidity seems to slow the ball down a little. Well, it's too bad it wasn't a little more humid for the eighties and a four of any. That's when McNickney has the three runs shot. McNick Daniel first switch to Wayne Comer. Hi, ball one. Call the right hand batter, Rich done a field of strikes in the second, slide out to left and the fourth struck out in the six.

One ball and no strikes. Lindy steps back and will us put the kick to pitch. Strike goal, letter high got the outside part of the plate. A ball on a strike on Wayne Comer. Holder, taken from the Detroit organization by Seattle pilots. Get the fun one half to treasured shot in your strike. All at a pepper zone and there's one out. Rich Rollins now steps in, he's at one hit in three trips and he was on base in the fourth inning when McNickney unloaded. Deep over the left field pass. Rollins right hand hitter, taken from the twin organization.

Takes a pitch down, fairs ball one. I was leading five to two, we're in the bottom half of the eight. McNick Daniel deals and a foul as field back to the screen. Yankees have one more shot at Gary Bell with Roy White, Joe Pepper, Don and Jimmy Hall in the south of the night. One one's ditch. Just off the outside corner. Jerry, the interesting, you know what kind of a scouting report Frank Presetti might have given Joe Schoel some of the Yankees. Well, if anybody knows him, Frank certainly does. Two one's ditch. Well, not in this strike, too. Throwes that he was very happy out here. Two one's ditch. Well, not in this strike, too. Throwes that he was very happy out here. You know his wife had an apartment about five minutes from the ballpark.

One out nobody out in two and two at a Rollins. McNick Daniel rocks and fires, Rollins bounces a foul over the left side. Kicks off something out of our view and back out of the playing field. McNick Daniel's studying here. Now the pitch. Check swaying ball three. Four count on Rollins free and two. Out of verse sailors here at the ballpark tonight as we glance around the stand from the naval base to few miles from here. Three balls to strike.

Rollins waiting here comes. Get on the ground and strike. Time to get to the little charity hot bell by. Guns it over to Peppetardo and there are two away. And out of the big man for the battle pilots tonight to catch your Joey McNick. There's three run homer in the fourth inning. But the pilot to have three to do since then they've scored two more and lead five to two. McNick, you're right hand here. Name from the white stock. McNick Daniel wigwag is gips. Just another sign now. And the pitch. Strike balls. Linden McNick Daniel, it is such a fine job for the Yankees over the second half of last year after he came to the trade.

It's fall in Jeep country and during the drive into fall sales event get a great deal on four by fours that refuse to be contained. Like Jeep Wrangler, confidence built into every drive with the most awarded SUV ever, Jeep Grand Cherokee and freedom that can't be denied with the open air freedom in Jeep Gladier. Jeep is one more awards over its lifetime than any other SUV brand, even the Jeep Grill or Registered trademarts of FCA US LLC. For Bill Monbuket, delivering on one swing in the next five McNick Nectar Strike II. McNick Daniel is a feature in the off season. Also publishes a religious newspaper, which is widely read, especially among athletes.

Old to pitch, get on the ground again to fresh. Johnny's got a chance for three to finish and he sends it over in time. Start as retired, three grand balls to fresh its choice. Nothing across for the pilot and at the end of the race. It's the out of pie in the 82. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Robert Rappaport, a Rothfield center says, I think feels real draft beer is one of the finest beers that I've ever had. It's terrific. Thank you very, very, very. Steve Silver, the staff manager says, I just wanted to say that feels real draft beer is very, very good. And I want to thank you for putting it off. Thank you very, very, very much. Feel the graph in the foot when it does, feels real draft is about the best beer I've ever tasted. It's smoother, creamier, and has greater body. Thank you very much. Thank you very, very, very, very, very much. Why have so many people been convinced that our beer is better than their beer? We think it's simple. Feels has real draft beer in a can, and that would make the difference.

Two of the favorites. Try feels real draft. And when you're convinced, let us know. So we can say to you, I will show you my beer. Thank you very much. Well, we've got a late score just in. Detroit beats the White Sox, three to one, the winner was Lowlich. Loser locker in relief in Northrop, get a one run of that ballgame, number four, and the seventh thing with a man on. That was a big blow, 40 choice. Right, bottom of the main, Washington and California one one time. All right, Jerry and Voip will try to break the bell. So here is the takes of ball one of five. There he is, retired, 15 years. Two for four, here's the pitch. Outside, out there. Gives walking the fourth. Two cents.

The bell is not a lot of bass runners. The wind up, the pitch to white. Well, it takes the first try. Frank, just quick note, California and Washington, tied up after nine. They're in the tenth inning right now. Two on pitch to white. Five, well, three. At score, Stanley, who washington one and California one. Both runs coming on home. There's more to California, F-steam for the senator. Three. Three on pitch to Roy White. Eight extra, two over the outside part of the plate. Four counts, final splitting five to two. The other ball, up left-and-and, or John O'Donnell, on the right-hand of Diego Sugiz, Roy. Three, two, pitch to white.

Five, all four and one on. So after 16, oh, the Yankees get wet on with a walker leading out the night. That is the fourth walk given up by Bell. And it brings to the plate Joe Pappatone. Happy as long for three tonight. One hit in his lap, 20 hit at best. He's got to do an early season one. So see, hit that elbow. Good job. Right, 24. White at first, Muncher is back to off-lying halfway. Bell set. Happy ball to back with strike field.

Out of right field, he get his deep. Incidentally, Jim Goufter has come on the plate. Senator Wayne Cumber has moved to left with Davis out of the defensive measure here on the night. Out of two, step five to two. Pappatone waiting here at the pitch. Get right back through the box. The middle of the center field base. Pappite's going to go prepared. God's ruffle the ball throws in the second base. And the Yankees have runners at the corner. Pappatone gets an eye-sending single here to bring the tying runs of the plate in the person of Jimmy Hall. That is the Yankees. Sixth hit of Gary Bell. And it's Wayne Joe Schultz, the Seattle manager out of the mound. Usually when they just want a conference at the mound, he sends Maglia. Schultz is looking to the ball band he wants really. He wants Rodani Hill. He wants the left hand or Rodani here to pitch to Jimmy Hall.

And we'll see if Ralph Alpomaker changes now. Probably Fernandez. And Frank is coming in from the ball band. Now that's Bobby Cox, kind of met. I'm not pronouncing what I saw him run. That couldn't be Fernandez. Just didn't run that way. Cox has more balls. Well, sort of a wolf I guess. Now that's right. Let's get up. Fernandez has gone to the back rack. Now he's going to come out. Bell gets quite a head as he leaves. He's six eight strong enemies. But out only two runs on six hits. And one four struck out two. And as a chance to be a winner, he cannot be a loser in this ballgame. But now John O'Donohill. The pilot's got O'Donohill from the Baltimore organization. He was actually on the Rochester club. It all involved a five player deal.

The pilot sent Mike Farrell to Rochester. And Jerry Shown to Dallas Fort Worth. The Orioles sent a couple of right-hand pitchers, Tommy Fisher, who they were very high on incidentally just two or three years ago. Orioles sent Tommy Fisher and Lloyd Farrell to the pilot's van Coover Club. The pilot picked up the left-hander O'Donohill, the boss of the bull band. And as O'Donohill takes his warm up throws, we're going to step out to just a moment. We pours for station identification. Nightline is your line to what's happening. This is Jerry Doocy. During the conversations week night, friend W.G. Ryan connected it. Frank Fernandez with that Virginia hall with the left-hander O'Donohill, you know, on the mound for the Seattle pilot.

Fernandez hitting 629. He's a two-home run, both in the same ballgame early in the season as five, runs, but it in in that early season game and Washington. It's like a day of the season, though, as well. Fernandez batting for hall. One is the first and third. Nobody out. Here's the fifth tiller in the air for a call straight on. John O'Donohill, left-hander. Liam's down takes the sign. And delivers just a bit high. One ball and straight. O'Donohill has been in three games prior to this when he has no record. He's pitched only two and two-thirds innings and is not a lot of run. He's given up two hits and struck out one better.

Fernandez with a one-ball one straight count. White at third, Peppetanick first. The set by O'Donohill, the next-hander kicks and deals. Fernandez sends a high blow ball out of the right field. He can go to level and he was set one over towards that or still. And he's still running and he overruns the ball. It's a fair run. Here comes right in the four. Peppetan stops the second. Fernandez has to race back to first base. He's on the right. He's on the right. The second, Peppetanick has to race back to first base. He's almost gone to second. At almost overruns up at all. That was a tough play for everybody except for Roy White. He was tagging up all the way and Egan, for some reason, rather, did not judge the win and has been charged with an error. The ball came back to him and you said it just right, Frankie, ran by the ball. Got his glove on it but dropped it. Peppetan really didn't know what to do. He was midway between seconds there and then came back. Yes. We almost had Fernandez going by Peppetan and he'd have been called out how he'd done that.

It will probably be scored as a sacrifice fly for Fernandez to give him a run about it in and not charging with a foul at that. We'll see. Here he is trash, starting right handed. Tommy swings and lines one file just past run and foul. It changed the not over base. In Austin, Aaron, now they change it to a base. If Fernandez gets a run about it in his six of the years and it's not five to three ball game, the Yankees have the tying runs on. Nobody out. Run as short as the ball or down a hit of the set. The pitch to trash. Filed over the roof for the right side. Jake Gibbs, due to that next. With Fernandez over it in the ball game we'll see whether it is real or not.

But all of a second, Fernandez at first. The set by O'Donohue, the O2 pitch to trash. Filed again down the third base side. You can well overdough at right side of field again against the right hand hitting fresh. You just overrun that ball to the far from him. You made a long run to get to it. But it is love and dropout. Again, the O2 pitch to trash. The set, the kick here comes, followed back to the screen. Fresh getting jobs to piece out of the stay-life. Funny thing when you make a long run for a ball as you get to the ball and start to slow your pace a little bit. The ball starts to jump in the air. Otherwise it doesn't come down smoothly and easily as it would normally. And that's what happened to Mike Egan. But right now, Filed Maglius out there talking to John O'Donohue.

And this catcher, Jerry McCartney. Strange thing that that happens. Every now and then you're running to that play and that ball starts to bounce back and forth on you as you're getting to it. I'm sure that Mike Egan lost the ball on a particular situation. Sure, he's got a strike thinking. Now, Fritz Peterson can get used to throw down on the Yankee ball pen and nobody else has warmed up. You know, to get down to, uh, look down, you'll unless the Yankees are hit by them. Here comes the pitch. Fritz hits it in the air to center field. Coming on for it as Josuer, he makes the catcher run and go back. Others want out as Fritz flies to Gonser and center. Up zone goes back a second for Nandes at first. Jake Gibbs goes back to the dugout. And we're going to have Billy Cahn to bat for Jake Gibbs to get the right hand stick in there against Fritz Peterson. Billy Cahn will bat for Gibbs.

Cahn is hitting 2-14, he's going to have 14 times with 3 hits. Josuer is going to bat for the ball. That's good. Josuer thought his way to the mound. He will very possibly bring Seguille into this ball game now. He looks for his ball pen. And that's who it's going to be. He wants to, well, actually Seguille has become the ace of the ball pen. And he wants an in here right now. So I'll be right hand, Fritz, he has right hand hitting with Seguille coming in. That's too fetched to Billy Cahn, who is batting for Gibbs. So Donna Hughes credited with 1-3 of Nandes, give up 1 hit.

She goes Seguille back to the ball game. Sonny D and Sunday of the Washington. And Seguille this year shows a record of 3 wins, 2 losses. An event run average of 3.17. He's been in 12 games prior to this one. The Seattle pilots rated the Oakland Wolf and very heavily taking both Seguille and Acre. Bobby Cox is come on to the indexer. Well, he will bat for an ex-Daniel, flying a double play. And Diego Seguille and his warm up throws. Seguille is bitched 34 innings. These really pictures on the Seattle ball, but we're going to log a lot of time this year. They're only 1-2-3 men.

I'm a pitching staff will pitch more than Diego Seguille. They would be Patent Bell and Mike Marshall, restarters. Frank manager Ralph Hauke is down to only one left hand batter. That would be Gene Michael, a switch shitter. So he has got to go with his right hand hitters and it's going to be Cowan and Cox to try to bring the Yankees back in the ball game. They're trading by 2 now on the top of the night. 5-3. All right, this is Colin Stubz and the Yankees with 1-1 have Peppaton and a second for Anders at first. Anders, that is Portia Meevall, single the right field as Mike Egan over round the ball and it dropped in. Runner's head to way. There's the set by Seguille. Here's the 50 Colin. Tell his swings and misses right one. Diego Seguille is 34 innings this year and has walked 18. He struck out 29.

He sets it to the belt. Wheels and deals. Colin bounces a ball down the third baseline and Colin fell down. Flat obvious tummy. Total one's at that one. Look at Scott and down he went on his tummy. The scrolling about the plate. No ball is this right. Seguille is the kind of picture of him so just about every day. Diego's strong, none mind the work. Total one's at that one. He's got a little bit of a ball. He's ready with a little too thick to belly count. Here comes one ball and two strikes. Flat at 3-3. The Yankees have Peppaton at second for Anders at first. One out of the ninth. Rotten's protecting the line at third. He's just a couple of steps off the ball line indeed. The Yankees feel that second and short halfway.

Outfield shakes to the left side. McNerkees flashes the sign. Seguille sets it to the belt. Here's the pitch. Colin takes a strike. Three goals and Colin is the target point. Colin is out on strike. And the raccoon down. He'll strike out for Diego Seguille either. He's going to go away and now Body Talks will bat. For a pitcher of Indian McDaniel. Talks has a batting average of 0.67. He's had one hit in 15 tries. He's trying to rally here at the night. Railing by two. They have the tag runs on. The Yankees are on strike. They're on strike.

The Yankees are on strike. The Yankees are on strike. The Yankees are on strike. The Yankees are on strike. two. They have to tag ones on. Diego Seguille looks into McNutney, starts his move. Right-handed delivers, Cox swings the lines one to right field, right there is Higgin. He has got it. Cox is the ball well, but Higgin, looking to his right and in a few faces, put away for the third up. And for the Yankees and the ninth, one run on two hits. There were no final hours and two minutes left on this. And that's it for tonight. The final score, the Yankees five, the New York Yankees three. In hundreds of towns, thousands of people are finding that our beer is better than their beer. Why? We think it's simple. The youth has real draft beer in a can, and that's what makes it different. To all of you, who switch to the youth, whoever you are, wherever you are, we say, I choose a beer. Thank you very much. Well the largest crowd over to see a baseball game in the state of Washington, for the most part goes on happy, and I tell you why? Well, here he called it. All right Frank, Mr. Seattle, five runs, six hits, no errors,

the Yankees three runs, seven hits and one error, the winning pitcher Gary Bell is record now is two and three. Mel, thought of my answer, the loss is record now is five and three, and that's the third straight loss, four mel. The Yankees were often running with Bobby Mercer, who duplicated what he did last night in the first inning, a two run homer, and they held that lead, until the fourth inning. Don Mintcher opened up the four fourth Seattle of a scratch single, Rich Rollins after one out, single the right field, sending Mintcher to third, and then Jerry McNerney boomed one into the seats and left center to give the pilot the lead at that time three to two. Seattle bounced back in the seventh inning with two more runs on only one base hit, but two walks in that inning, and that was the end of Mel's bottom-line, as Lyndy McDaniel came on and fit to the final Seattle batters, final two in the seventh and the final three in the eighth. The Yankees posed a threat of the ninth with a walk to flight, a single to Pepaton and a single to Fernandez, but Tommy Trush, fly to center, Bill Cowan batting for Jake Gibbs struck out,

and Bobby Cox batting for Lyndy McDaniel, fly to right to end the ballgame. So the final score, Seattle five and the Yankees three, and one other final score, the Senators in tenenings broke a six game losing streak by beating the California Angels two to one. Once again, the final score here at six stadium in Seattle, Washington, Seattle five and the Yankees three. And now this is Jerry Corbin speaking for Frank Messer and Phil Rosado, staying good by from six stadium in Seattle, Washington.
