It's football season, which means it's trading season. And we're going to get you right with 20 fantasy football players to trade for or trade away now and later. If you're a returning subscriber, you already know what makes us the best fantasy football channel on the planet. So hit that like button on this video. If you're new here, don't forget to subscribe and turn notifications on by clicking the bell. You don't want to ever want to miss an upload from Scott and I because we're going to help you win fantasy leagues all season long. Scott, how are you today? I actually have an opener I want to do with you. Okay. And instead of pleasantries, what I'm going to say to you is now that you're officially a daily fantasy host and we do this show together, I need you to take it a little more seriously. We got to upgrade your podcast game. I can't look at it. When I got this clown in front of me, oh, well, you picked me brother, not the other way around.

So let's, I got news for you. But the white background with the the nice, you know, random spot. I'm working on it. I'm working on it. All right. Let's do it. Let's get something going. I could do an AI background. I, but I think I owe you guys a little bit better than that. So my wife and I are working on something by the time you, we didn't rehearse this at all. But because you're calling me out, but the time we record our next show, I'll have to get something in the background. Yeah, thanks everyone for tuning in. This is fantasy football daily with Bretton Scott on Apple and Spotify. It's on our YouTube channel at fantasy points and yeah, it's like a film versus analytic show. You have really one of the best film experts, X's and O's guys in the industry. You have one of the top fantasy minds in the industry, debating it out, talking it out, trying to reach some resolution. And hopefully you come away smarter for it. I've said it's like taking watching 15 episodes of this show. It's like earning your PhD in fantasy football.

Let's go. I love that. Scott, I am willing to fly down to Austin, help you with that background, by the way. Just, you know, I mean, I do. I mean, build a nice studio, you know what I mean? We can dye your hair pink together. Yeah, there we go. Is that what they do in Austin? This place you keep telling me to move? Dude, it's awesome. It's, it's, you love Brazilian jujitsu. It's like the BJJ capital of the world. Well, I guess after some cities in Brazil, but yeah, dude, everyone here is super cool. Food's awesome. Weather's awesome. Everything's sick. All right, let's dive in. So as I teased it, we're giving you players a trade for this first bucket of guys. They're trade for now candidates. And the main reason I have them on the list and the you added one here too is because I think they're going to get off to a hot start. If you want to get off to a hot start in fantasy, I think having one of these guys makes a lot of sense and their value is going to significantly grow. And then they're potentially a flip candidate for you later in the season as the schedule gets a little harder for them. Let's start it off with New York Jets running back.

Breeze Hall. Yeah, I want to be clear. This is one of breads. The next two are also all breads. My breeze hall, Brett. For you, are you acting like this is not a good, a good thing? This is, I don't know, you need a song on it. But first of all, I already liked Breeze at ADP anyway. So I think the market was softer on him than it should have been. This is a guy staring down the barrel of a really good workload. Year two, Armand Membo on this off. I think this offensive line has a chance to be top ten in the league very cold, certainly. And so I'm pretty bullish on it. I know the identity Aaron Glenn wants to have as the New York Jets had coach. It's going to be real run first, real heavy play action in the past game. But they're going to be aggressive. They're going to be run aggressive probably to a fault actually. So and then on top of that. So I've already liked the ADP. I like the role he's going to have versus cost. But you look at the schedule and he plays Tennessee early on who back half of the season,

they were decent against the run, but they traded to Vandry sweat. They're big run stuffing, no tackle to the Jets. In fact, they're going to take a step back. Green Bay got absolutely gashed in the run game, the back half of the season, last year, like 4.6 yards of carry. They give up like 950 yards in their final six games. Detroit struggled to defend the run late in the year last year. And they've made very minor fixes on the defense. Now they're hoping for health, but still another soft run defense. Chicago, arguably the worst run defense of the last five years last year. Really, really bad run defense. So very soft schedule for a guy I was already high on versus ADP. I think he's a great candidate to go trade for. Let him go nuts for you for four weeks and then you unload him right before he plays Cleveland, New England. But here's the thing, even if you hold on to him longer than that, it's like he's got Miami week seven, lost Vegas week eight, Buffalo week 10 Miami again a week top, like the schedule honestly is pretty soft for him. Kind of throughout. So I'm, yeah, go trade for Brisaal. He's going to help you.

Yeah. Come on. The schedule stuff really doesn't mean anything to me. Or at least not in comparison to what I think really matters. The strength of schedule stuff, you know, things really changed dramatically year over year. It's not that sticky. And so we could think Tennessee has a bad run defense when in actuality. They could have a really good run defense or they could just have a mediocre run defense, but their past defense is so bad that, you know, teams aren't running on them. What really matters to me, especially with Brisaal is his usage. And we're going to find that out in week one. So to me, he's not a player. I'm going to trade for right now. He's a player, you know, week one week two week three. I might want to trade for based on. I'm really his snops. His snap share. I, well, if I want to trade for him, ideally he sucks. Like he's just inefficient, but he has an 80% snap share. And the owner isn't watching fantasy points content and isn't that savvy. And so you can get him for a song and a prayer and he's a league winner because like, let's not lose sight of who Brisaal was heading into 2025.

Before all the Aaron Glenn fear and certainty and doubts quotes regarding his usage, I was saying he's potentially Matt Forte reincarnated. He had 200 plus carries 95 targets in 2023, 2024, 200 plus carries 76 targets. And then last year he had a career high 243 carries only 48 targets. Not too surprising because of Justin Fields and how bad Justin Fields is. Gino Smith targets the running back a lot more often. But you still we have this Aaron Glenn sort of skits of frenic quotes regarding usage where it's like he's our bell cow this year. He's our guy. And then it's like we want a three way committee. And so like either he can't make up his mind or he's just totally playing us or messing with us. But yeah, with a player like Brisaal, it really comes down to usage for me. So like in a perfect world, he has an 80% snap share in week one and he averaged 2.8 yards per carry and scored nine fantasy points.

And I'll be on this episode next Wednesday being like go out and trade for Brisaal. This is awesome. But yeah, the strength of schedule I think just isn't as important to me. Yeah, thanks for spending four minutes telling me disagreed to only agree with me within that four minutes. The the strength schedule is not the reason you trade for him. It's the cherry on top. I laid out the workload. I already liked this guy at ADP because I don't like cherry. So yeah, the rest of the Sunday looks for whatever as far as the Aaron Glenn comments. I think this is where like we get two in the weeds on coach speak, right? Like he doesn't know what bell what bell cow means to him is different than what it means to you. And you have to remember. Do you know the actual definition of bell cow? Oh, please tell me. So I came up with these arbitrary definitions like 10 years ago. No one else uses them, but I do. And I think they're really valuable. A workhorse running back is a running back who gets a crap ton of touches, but really mostly carries and not targets. So it's like Derek Henry, Jonathan Taylor, historically.

And then a bell cow is a do it all every down running back who gets a high percentage of snaps carries targets. And especially a high percentage of the back fields snaps carries target. So Christian McCaffrey is the ultimate bell cow. Jamir Gibbs is the ultimate bell cow. Derek Henry is a workhorse running. Nick Chubb was a workhorse running back. Yeah, yeah. I have seller definitions for my scouting or my prospect guide. Oh, what is it? So like, so if I'm like projecting what I think a guy can be like what kind of workload he can take on the NFL like a bell cow to me is like 80% of all running back touches for his team. That's including targets and receptions. 65% would be what I call like a good lead back. And then an early down runner would be like 70% of early down carries, but no work in the past game. And I have these pretty defined in my, you know, in my eye for a year or two, I flirted with 60 or 66% of the back fields snaps carries and targets. You need it all three to be a bell cow.

I like that. All right. Yeah. So cherry on top. Aaron Glenn likes Breeze Hall. I know the other point is going to make he's got 53 guys. He's got a lead to the season plus practice squad. So he can't just say, Breeze Hall is the bell cow. No one else is touching the football because he needs braille and ale and to be bought in. He needs Isaiah Davis to be bought in. You know what I mean? So like we got to be a little careful with the coach speak stuff sometimes. Next one. Sick one, Barkley. This one actually was a little more schedule oriented for me. If I could pull it up, you know, you think I would have done that right. Clark's taking. Yeah. Come prepared. This is embarrassing. Oh, relax, relax. Like you don't ever spend nine minutes pulling something up. Why have to sit here and, you know, don't, don't get my phone. We need to make an example of it. Yeah. No, no. Yeah. Don't cut this out. I want this on the record. Anyways, completely scheduled adjusted for me. Washington, Tennessee, Chicago to start the season. Okay. It's going to go nuclear if you did. Is he is he really Brett?

Listen, sick one was another guy I liked at ADP, to be honest. You know, I really liked at ADP. No, come on. Who? Tank big. Yeah, because because you had a conversation with Ryan Pagan any we love. We love Ryan. That's just one man's opinion though. Yeah. No, I mean, I'm a high ranking on sake one, Barkley. I drafted St. One Barkley. Sobs of drafted. St. I'm just trying to give you a hard time. Sell me on sake. Yeah, so. So, people are sour on him because the last year, right, but it's Lane Johnson back healthy. It's Cam, Jürgen's back healthy. It's landed Dickerson back healthy. Jordan Milotta still there at left tackle the only minor question they have on the offensive line is that right guard, but he's been a several year starter from that at this point. The just getting the band back together and healthy is great and then straight to schedule. It's like it's a joke to start the season. They play three incredibly soft defenses in a row. And so I like if you could somehow get them now, I feel really good about his ability to increase value and then you could end up flipping him later.

Yeah. So I think the Eagles should beat the commanders easily. I think they should beat the Titans easily. I think they should beat the Bears somewhat comfortably. Would say easily, but yeah. And then we four against the Rams and I think that is the game that really tells us how good of a pick, sake one actually was you have every beat, right, or talking about there's a clear focus from the coaching staff on getting him more involved in the passing game. Like let's not forget he was a great pass catcher with the giants haven't really seen too much of it with the Eagles. But if that thesis is right, yeah, this is a great threat. This makes him game script proof this, you know, really bolsters his week to week floor. And so that that is a crucial week to me. But who knows maybe there's a chance we see them trailing against the Bears or one of these other teams and sake one's actually not coming off the field or not just, you know, standing around doing nothing. He's he's actually getting targets. So that's something to again, not a player I'm trading for right now, but maybe later

on in the season, depending on what we see. Is later on not too late. The price goes up after these first three weeks. I mean, you can't trade for everyone. And it's like, why would I trade for anyone right now? It's like just you ideally drafted off with my draft guy and you don't need to trade for anyone. And you have all these people beating down your door for Parker Washington for for these exodias. So yeah, yeah, Scott, the ideal formula is you drafted all the exodias and your team's perfect. Yeah. That's not the reality we live in, right? And obviously we could tell you we could tell you we could tell you to go draft all the exodias now. Or I sorry, go trade for all the exodias now. Sure. It's also that's the optimal. You want to go trade for players trade for the exodias because they were the reason they were exodias is because they were undervalued. And so they're still going to be undervalued on the trademark. Anyways, that's not the show we're doing though. That's that's too easy. We are wait until we get to I recommended trade for targets, but let's let's close out with your final one and then one move to me.

And a reminder, these are for people you trade for right now. Like say the draft didn't go your way. Say. You want to say did go your way and you have a ton of depth and you need to learn back or you don't have to upgrade your depth to a premium player. Exactly. Last one is Zayflowers Ravens wide receiver. We have, you know, we've talked about him a lot recently. Scott the versatility, the, you know, the fact that he's pretty much good in every situation you put him in. So that again, another player I already was higher on than ADP. I have so many shares as day in redraft because he was so easy to draft. And then he gets a really soft schedule to start the year. Like I'm talking disgustingly soft schedule Indianapolis, New Orleans, Dallas, Tennessee, Atlanta, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Buffalo, like eight games in a row. He should I should have considered this more even, you know, for the draft process. None of those teams can defend the slot at all.

None of them. I'm a big and all the implied point totals and all of those games will be extraordinarily high as well. So, so I definitely agree with this one. He was someone who if you read the draft guy when I first dropped, he was pretty low in my rankings. You know, I was really worried about Todd Monkin leaving. I thought he was a perfect fit where, you know, heavy screen game usage, a lot of heavy personnel. And I was like the Ravens have to add someone. They have to they have to add a Stefan digs. They have to add a keen an Allen. Just none of that came to fruition. And instead you have Declan Doyle talking about, yeah, no, we like heavy personnel. We like, you know, Zay flowers being used heavily in screens. And more than that, we want to move from below average in play action to like top three. And that's always been a major cheat code for both Lamar Jackson and Zay flowers. I have it on good authority. The new head coach, offensive coordinator, very forward thinking when it comes to analytics

and today's NFL and how the game is changing. And yes, you have all these quotes where it's like, yeah, we want we're going to force feed Zay flowers the ball and they kind of have to because they have Mark Andrews who, for the first time in his career was under two yards per route running. It was all the way down at 1.33, easily worst ass of his career was always top three. It was like fringe top 15 last year. And so like he might be washed. And so yeah, you could trade for him today, but you can also trade for him week two, week three. Is this Ravens offense humming? Does Mark Andrews look washed? If so, wheels up for Zay flowers. Yeah, that's great. I think you should just trade for him now, Scott. Just get it done. You know, all right. The fourth one on the trade for now. Well, this is the trade for now bucket. You keep saying wait. That's right. That defeats the purpose. Christian Watson, I already know he put on a list. He was one spot away from being in Exodia for you, right? Same round as Mike Evans. If, if, yeah, if Mike Evans was going around later, Christian Watson would be in Exodia.

It's just, I want to be honest with the subs. And like, unless you're in an auction league, you really can't get both. You have to choose between one of them. I chose Mike Evans as my Exodia, but it's damn close. And I love Christian Watson. This is another stock riser with Josh Jacobs facing currently on the exempless facing a potential suspension. I expect the Green Bay Packers to lean more pass heavy. And yeah, this is a big offseason winner. You lose Don Tevian Wix. You lose Romeo Dobs. I think Green Bay does away with their frustrating four way, five way, wide receiver platoons, committees. I just, since he came into the league, he averages like 17.5 fantasy points for games and games with a route share of at least 66% 75% whatever it was. It's in the article. That would rank like seventh, sixth, bass among all wide receivers. That's well above, you know, just within the same criteria, well above JSN, well above Drake London. And so yeah, now I think he's going to be a full time player, no platoon.

I think they're going to be more pass heavy. And if you looked at his route distribution in the preseason, you saw a lot more shallow routes, a lot more screens, which are the more valuable routes from a fantasy perspective. And it's something he was really good at. He housed a number of screens as a rookie. And so yeah, this is a big stock riser. And like I said, you can't draft all these guys, but maybe you could draft most of them and then trade for the others. So I like Christian Watson here. Yeah, this is a great call. I'm a big Watson guy. I think the potential he has in this offense this year is insane. You mentioned like the runaway potential. And I think that's really what they've gotten away from. His first year is rookie year with Aaron Rogers. They used him on this heavy diet of like what I call runaway routes, where it's either their shallow crossers or their over routes, a lot of Yankee concept, a lot of dagger stuff, where he's the dig on the backside. So like all of these routes are great. Anytime you can get Christian Watts in the ball, in stride, in space,

it's dangerous. It's better than just him being a deep threat. So I love it. The versatility as to his yards per outrun from the slot are over four last year. They're like 2.5 out of X. He's pretty position proof as well. So however that three way wide receiver kind of battle works out, doesn't really matter. He's kind of proven he can play all three of those spots. So I know there's a lot of rumors. Golden's going to be the X. I don't think it really matters. Yeah. All right. Let's move to a trade for a later bucket, which apparently the four guys who just talked about are trade for later buckets for you too. But we're going to give you three quarterbacks to start. One of them was a 2025 Exodia. Actually both of them were I think, right? Did you have two Exodia QE's last year? No, don't. All right, whatever. I mean, they can see the graphics. Come on. Let's start with Trevor Lawrence. You can just pull all three up. We can hit them all at once. So Trevor Lawrence, Drake May, Jackson Dark, with Drake May

and Trevor Lawrence, it's really just they have among the two toughest early season strength of schedules at the quarterback position. And so yeah, it's matchups really matter for fantasy. It's massive. Like that's why JJ Zacharyson has had so much success streaming the position over the years. You saw Drake May Exodia last year amazing season. He finished behind only Josh Allen and fantasy points per game. And still you saw when the schedule toughened up in the playoffs, he really struggled. So starting off the season against the Seahawks, who seemed to have his number in the Super Bowl, the Steelers, the Jaguars, the Bills, et cetera. I can see him getting off to a tough start. And if that happens, Pats, because this is a player I was very high on. He was all three of these guys really were kind of Exodia runner ups where I really like them. I really like their potential Trevor Lawrence in particular. What he did over the final eight games or the final six

games over the final four games was really impressive, especially and in particular when my guy Parker Washington became the focal point of the passing game. And so yeah, it's if I, hey, there's a chance, my Exodia quarterback Malik Willis, that was the wrong call. And if that was, Trevor Lawrence is a prime trade for target. He was, Fantasy is overall QB1 over the last 14 weeks of the season, seven weeks, four weeks, over his last four weeks. He averaged 30.7 fantasy points per game. That was 16.8 more than Josh Allen. He was a QB1 in eight of his last 10 games, top seven and six of his last seven. And he wasn't really priced like it. So yeah, again, he was a borderline Exodia, but the issue was I like to go really cheap at the position. And then Jackson Dart, it's, I can see him getting off to a slow start because Malik neighbors is working his way back to full health.

It's a brand new offense, a brand new system. And his play callers Matt Niggie. And so if Matt Niggie gets fired week five, that is the time to balance. That is the time to trade for Jackson Dart by low on Jackson Dart. And honestly, he might be on waivers if Matt Niggie is, who he's always been. But the upside is really massive. If you, he just averaged the fifth most fantasy points per start by a rookie quarterback all time. He's not at all priced like it. If you throw out the Minnesota game where he threw only 13 passes, his 22.5 fantasy points per start would have beaten now Josh Allen. And so Jackson Dart, another mid season potential by low. And then Drake May, yeah, like I said, it's another tough early season strength of schedule. And you did see him be somewhat fairly matchup sensitive last year. Couple of notes here on what on Trevor Lawrence, you didn't even mention this. And I can't believe it because you're the Konami Code guy.

That stretch you're talking about for Lawrence, I think week 11 on 33.5 rushing yards per game, which is really what elevated, I think, his cubic, like his consistent cubic one plays that he was way more assertive running the football. I think that's something that continues. I think they've realized this is a weapon for him. He's a very good athlete. And when he does run, it's, it's very dynamic. So I think they're going to lean into that a little bit more this year. Here's a crazy staff purpose. Yeah, go ahead. Over the last four years, only two running backs and more, two quarterbacks have more rushing touchdowns than Trevor Lawrence. Jaylen Hertz and Josh Allen. Oh my brother, he's seven more than Lamar Jackson. Wow, wow, wow, that's, that's great. Good, good pull. So he is a Konami code quarterback in my mind. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just wanted to note that because you didn't really say that in your, yeah, your description of it. That's what you read the articles. Well, true, but it's got you have to remember not everybody watching this video to subscribe to the site. They don't all read the articles, but that's where we're enticing either.

Brett Whitefield's not literally crazy, crazy Brett Whitefield staff. Second grade reading. This isn't going to go well. I don't, I don't know if there's going to work all season, but we'll figure it out. Jackson, dark, another note there. I don't know. You got to leave comments making fun of Brett's illiteracy. Don't worry, he can't read them. Okay, Grover. Jackson, dark, trying to stay focused, trying to lock in Jackson, dark. Lock it. I don't think, do you think Matt Nagy's actually the play collar? It feels like it's actually Greg Roman to me. So I worked my sources on this basically. Greg Roman is the run game coordinator. This is 100% Greg Roman's run game. They couldn't name him that because he's still being paid by the charger. So he has some fake title. But no, this is Matt Nagy's offense. Matt Nagy is the play collar. It's definitely not that he's installed. Huh? It's not Matt Nagy's install. It might be his play sequencing, but it's not his install. What's an install Brett? Like the personnel packages, the alignments, the formations.

It's all Greg Roman 100% Greg Roman. Oh, interesting. Here's the thing. If it is Greg Roman, that is a sneaky amazing. Like he got so a hose last year because he didn't have his two all pro tackles. And like you just can't run an offense. That way also Ladmin Conkey heard all last year. Yeah. But he's legitimately good and he's always been the Konami code whisperer. Like he had an all time freak season from Lamar Jackson. He had Colin Kaepernick. He took to the Super Bowl. Alex Smith had some crazy good years. Tyrod Taylor. And so like I think he's a perfect fit for Jackson Dart. So if he actually is the play collar, that's awesome for my guy who I think is probably the single most underrated quarterback and football right now from a pure talent perspective from an upside, from his skills from a trades perspective. Okay. Put the giant tattoo away. All right. Last note on this group, Drake May. So full disclosure, we're recording this before the game on Wednesday. So by the time you're listening to it, the game has been played, I think Drake may actually have a really good game against Seattle.

Here's the thing with Seattle. Their secondary is beat to hell. They lost Kobe Bryant in free agency. They lost Rikwool and in free agency. Ty Okota, one of their other starting safeties is out in this game. Nick Ammon Worry is questionable. Obviously by the time you're listening to this, we'll know whether you play or not. We're garlics of that. He should be limited. And then you have some offset capability here with AJ Brown and Romeo Dubs entering the fold for Drake May. I think Drake May might have a really good week one game. So the trade for later thing might be harder for him than you think it will. Just because I think prime time game, everyone's going to watch it. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, these some of these are going to be wrong. Like Drake May could just smash and be, you know, top three all year, but, you know, just names to write down and stick in the back of your mind for a week, five, weeks, six. Like, I mean, you should also just watch the show where we're going to give you trade for targets every Wednesday. But yeah, just just if one of these guys get off to a slow start, they might be a good low. And this is like the number one best advice I could give anyone, particularly if they're

in a trade heavy league, if they're, if they're all boys, they got a lively group chat, is you really want to be working trades as much as possible. Because that is how if you've never lost a trade, you're not trading anywhere near enough. You need to be losing trades and you need to be winning trades. His trades are this amazing thing where both teams can win the trade and make their teams better. And so like shore up a position of weakness or, you know, trade away depth for premium assets, which again, the game of fantasy football is a game that's decided by power law players where depth doesn't really matter. Like typically if you're doing a, you're trading away three players for one guy who's ever getting the one guy is probably winning that trade. And the single most important advice. And this is how TJ Calkins and I like just dominate every single dynasty league we're in. Number one rule of advice is find the biggest dummy in your league and loot the coffers until there's nothing left. And you have to do that.

You have to do that because if you're not doing that, someone else can be, might be, and you could build a juggernaut team that way. So literally like TJ Calkins is my dynasty co-manager and he's the best trade, trade trader. Like we win like so many of our trades so bad. But like every single one of those trades, the guy is like, Oh, thank you. Like that was so much like, I love this trade for me and they're happy about it. But it really made our team better. It's because like, you know, guys value players differently. Like the guy who drafted, you know, Parker Washington might actually not be anywhere near as high on him as you are. Like this guy you have on your roster who you're like, eh, I don't really know about BTJ. I don't really know about Roma Dunez. And they might think like he's a lead winner. And so like you just really got to be in constant communication with your lead mates. Did you just reference TJ Calkins as a fair trader? I said people like are overjoyed to do business with him.

Like I never made a trade to them. He's never once offered me a trade that's fair. So that's hilarious. Well, he starts low because that way after negotiations, you meet in the middle and the middle is more in his favor. It's like a psychological trick. Yeah. All right. Next next tier or next group, I should say running backs. We're going to be four running backs. Traders throw these boys up. Yep. I'm going to let you blast the list like you do with quarterbacks and then I'll give intermittent notes here and there. Yeah. So there's a common theme here. It's all these guys are a little banged up or hurt or coming back from a devastating injury plus surgery. And so I think it makes sense for all of these guys to start slow to be eased in. Two more of a full time workload. If Kim Skataboo, who I love Brett, I don't just like I love, starts off with a 45% snap share. I'm not panicking. If that carries for two or three weeks, I'm buying.

I'm still not panicking. I'm buying because I think it's inevitable. Second half of the season, we see a bell cow, not a worker's bell cow workload. Heavy pass game volume for a very skilled, talented pass catcher. The only real concern is compensatory injury risk to me. And maybe as efficiency isn't great, I really don't think that matters too much for a guy who's a focal point inside the red zone and as a pass catcher. And so yeah, just something to monitor. All these guys could start slow. Might be better mid season trade for targets. Winston Sean Judkins, I'm not as high on, but he's coming back from a similar, slightly less devastating injury to Kim Skataboo. So maybe he starts off slow. Maybe it takes him a while for the efficiency to bounce back. Jeremiah Love, I mean, Ashton G. T2, he had that low ankle sprain where he made his teammates gather around and do a prayer circle over. But there's been like serious real hype on Mike Washington.

Not a lot of good things I'm hearing on Ashen Gentie. So honestly, maybe he's not a mid season trade for target unless his value really tanks. And I think the best way to gauge it is what is his snap share? What is his target share more than anything else? Or yeah, what is the offensive lines average yards before contact per attempt? All these stats you could find very easily in data suite 2.0. And then Jeremiah Love, I think is one of the most interesting ones. I think there's a very real chance. It's week six and people are saying this was the worst fantasy pick you couldn't make, especially when he was going in round two, early round three. Because I think it's a multiple factors. Why he's coming back from an injury where I heard it was maybe 60, 40 he would play. This is about a week ago. But they have amazing running backs behind him on the depth chart. Tyler Algier, who forced a committee with Bijan Robinson, who I think is more talented to Jeremiah Love. You know, James Conner, who went healthy is always one of the most efficient running backs in football.

And let's not lose sight of the fact that this guy's a rookie. Every year we succumb analysts such as myself succumb to a rookie optimism. You know, it's guys don't fully know the playbook. They're not fully adjusted to NFL speed as talented as Jeremiah Love is. And so if he gets off to a slow start and you have a team that can, you know, is cares more about sweeping through the playoffs than making the playoffs. Like you got off to a hot start. You have a lot of talent. I think he's an ideal mid season trade for target. Interesting framing on love for sure. Judkins almost made my list of trade for now guys. So I just look at the role he's going to have with the Cleveland Browns team that should struggle the past of all early. I think they're offensive line retooling. It looks like it's going to be pretty effective. And I love Todd Monkins' run schemes. So I worry that training for him late, just a little too ambitious. I think he's going to get off to a really good start. So, Jeremiah Love, you mentioned it's looking like the worst fantasy pick you could have

made. He looks like the worst NFL pick the league could have made as well. I've routinely called him the worst draft pick of all time. So I don't know how I feel about that one to be. I love genty call. I love the scataboo call. But Jeremiah Love one just seems very optimistic where it's Tyler L. J. is a really good player. That situation is worse than hot garbage. Yeah, I didn't even mention that. Yeah. Yeah. So they could be starting Carson back in the second half of the season. Hopefully hoping they lose every game to get archmaning. The offensive line is not great. You know, negative game, game script just about every single game playing from behind, needing to pass. Yeah. And it could also be a committee. So it's just, it's just rough out here in these streets for a player who's very talented. I know you love his talent. Yeah. Super talented. It's just the situation is awful. Super well. Let me ask you this. Super talented. Talented.

Talented. Talented. Water. That was pretty good. Scott, if he had like a Ashen Gen T level season, would that be a good thing or a disappointment for you from last year? Like what? Yeah, that would be a disappointment. Ashen Gen T had like one of the most worse seasons for the volume ever. Like if you look at every running back, whoever had 75 plus targets, 260 plus carries, whatever it was, he was the only one below like 16 fantasy points per game. And he had 14.5. And what is that? He had range RB two production that doesn't move the needle. That's not impactful in the game of fantasy football. We want power law players and like low end RB twos just don't really matter because they're easily replaceable. You can find them on waivers. They only give you like one fantasy point per game or then, you know, your opponent's bench player. So no, that would be a massive disappointment to me, who kind of values the game of fantasy football a little differently than most. Yeah, so I kind of see him in a very similar situation to Gen T year ago with the caveat

being tell our LG, there's a much better backfield compliment than Gen T had to deal with last year. So all right, hit some receivers. Oh, I'm noticing a trend here. God, this is, I can't believe I fell for this. Good Lord. We got a giant on every list. Jackson, dark, cam, scatter, bow, now Malik neighbors. Give me a break. Go ahead. Go ahead. Tell me about Malik neighbors. Why, why, why is he on there? Is it just because I'm a giants fan? No, it's because his ADP fell to a point that was ridiculous and he was a very easy click on the draft and he's starting the season, possibly limited coming off of the ACL and he's a really good player and you know, he might start slow because of the ACL recovery and then he's going to hit stride the back half of the season. So you're right. Give me a hard time. I'm just saying there's a giant on every list. He's probably the one that deserves to be on it.

I'm just saying like there's a giant on every list. Did we put any lions on here, buddy? I mean, no. These guys could all start slow for a myriad of reasons. Malik neighbors, cam, scatter, bow, both trying to get back to full health. It's a brand new offense that that's potentially called by Matt Nagy, the worst offense of play call of all time who hopefully gets fired very quickly. Brett, I had a tweet scheduled nine months ago. It's five, it's scheduled for five minutes after the giants game starts. It says, I've seen enough. Please fire Matt Nagy. But yeah, Malik neighbors. So this was a draft target for me. And I really feel like the only way I'm wrong on this is if he is instead a mid season by low, rather than a great draft pick. Because Jeff Mueller very bullish on his health, but Stefani Bell, a couple of days ago, who's actually pretty connected with the giant training staff, was a lot more pessimistic. And thanks, it really could take him some time to get back to full health.

He's probably not going to be 100% at any point this year, but very well could be 90% or whatever. And that really just goes, I think a long way. You look at Malik neighbors over his last seven fully healthy games. He averages 22 fantasy points per game over 100 yards per game, 11.3 targets per game. Just about no one besides Puka compares with that. I mean, even Jamar chase 83 yards per game, 18 fantasy points per game, CD lamb, 15.6 fantasy points per game, just in Jefferson, Brett 43 yards per game, 8.3, 8.3, 8.3 fantasy points per game, disgusting. And so part of the Malik neighbors bet to is, you know, I had sources when Malik neighbors is coming out, I was like, you're talking to a guy who's currently a GM. What was what was with what do you think was with the discrepancy and target share between Malik neighbors and BTJ at LSU?

Should I read this to mean neighbors was getting open more consistently? Should I? No, it's because neighbors is an a whole neighbors neighbors through a temper tantrum. Any game he didn't get 12 targets, whereas BTJ was more chill and he was like, you know, I'll just I'll just work the deep routes, you know, give keep keep neighbors happy. It's cool. And then you saw that is rookie year. There is like one game the giants lost were neighbors only had eight targets and he threw a table under the bus. So you like to see that as well. So I have high confidence. And neighbors has confidence in his abilities to cut and move and everything else. You get rare upside for a player who if he was 100% fully healthy, I might be taking in in mid round one, late round one. So yeah, if he gets off to a slow start and especially if like his owners struggling because you're drafting him as a starter time to pounce. Brian Thomas Jr. Well, I think I think, well, again, I'm a Parker Washington guy.

So I'm expecting a slow start regardless. But I think deep route laid it out perfectly on this show where he's like, look at the grueling cornerback schedule he's facing. It's one of the worst we could remember week one, Denzel Ward, week two, Patrick Surtain, week three, Christian Gonzalez, week five, Quinion Mitchell, week six, Derek Stingley. And it goes on and on and on. It's just like, yeah, anyone who does wide receiver versus cornerback analysis knows like, I mean, these could be like the top five cornerbacks in the league. And so yeah, I'm expecting a slow start for Brian Thomas Jr. I'm expecting a fast start from Parker Washington. Debrot took it even a step further than I did. He's not a mid season by low. He's a mid season out of waivers. This is a guy we could see on waivers, which is crazy hot take Matt Harman wide receiver goat doesn't agree with. But still, you never know it certainly and expecting a slow start from BTJ. Scott, if Parker Washington is so good, then why would you project Brian Thomas Jr.

to get the best cover corner every single game? Well, it's because the play different positions, the slot wide receiver is a different position to me than outside wide receivers. All these guys, they'll shadow cornerbacks. I mean, not all them are shadow, but they play predominantly on the perimeter, perimeter. They don't move to the slot. And by the way, Liam Cohen's offense runs through the slot wide receiver. That's probably intentional because it's easier to move that guy around, get him mismatches, have them avoid premier shutdown cornerbacks. And so yeah, that's my job. I've trained you well. That was my that was my snarly Twitter guy. I love it. I got we got deep. I was getting roasted in the teaser that went out. I was he. But that question got asked like 70 times. And I'm like, how, like, how little ball do we know guys? Like it's pretty pretty obvious why Parker Washington won't see the shadow. But he also moves. He moves around where BTJ is primarily the X, you know, we're going to we're going to move Parker Washington around a little bit and whether he's in the slot or out wide,

doesn't really matter. They move him enough that it doesn't, it doesn't really matter. You can't shadow him. So Casey conception. Yeah. Casey concepts you all. Concepts you all. John Shribbling. I'll hit at once. It's again, and we. You got a major discount on both of these guys as rookies where it's like. We're not expecting much immediately. I think there's a good chance actually. We see Casey in a really valuable role week one. Shribbling I think it's going to take him some time. But in either case, if there is that slow start, their players I want to buy in a Casey. You laid it out. Predraft you're like my comp is a flowers. And then the night of the draft, Todd Monk and Andrew Barry are like, he's a big Z flowers to me. And I said earlier on this episode, that was an extremely valuable role in the Todd Monk and offense highest rate of heavy personnel, which is a wide receiver cheat code, inflating your targets per route run because it's easier to get targets against tight ends than it is against wide receivers.

Heavy screen usage. And that's important for an offense with a dog shit quarterback. Yeah, that you're going to mitigate the accuracy concerns when you get screens. It's also going to raise your weekly floor. And it's a player you love. This was your number two wide receiver in the class that were extremely bullish on him. And so I believe I buy into the talent to Sean Shribbling. I think there's a very good chances on waivers week four, week five because it looks like the 49ers want him to be their wide receiver for to start. Although there certainly is a lot of hype on him. And so he has a ton of upside where it's just like, Hey, Debo, Samuel's fat. Let's let's work in the rookie who looks awesome. Or if Mike Evans who's old and injury prone or of George Kettle, who's old and injury prone, or if Christian McCaffrey, who's old and injury prone gets hurt, there's league winning upside for this offense. You saw the stat. What we did the data suite 2.0 announcement and tutorial, the best pass game and football over the last five years

by far is the Kyle Shane hand offense, despite his quarterbacks being either absolute trash or a Mr or relevant draft pick. And that's with a ton of injuries. It's just like, dude, Kyle's the goat, bro. And this is, yeah, this is a fun and exciting player who I think fits that system really well. And so, yeah, great. This is just a little cheat code where it's like, if you didn't draft these guys, or if you're in a shallow bench league, where you couldn't afford to wait on them, you know, mental note to yourself. Literally something I do is in the Google calendar. You know, I might week seven, make a note to myself, add to John Stribling off waivers if he's there or week five, whatever it is. So that's something you can do as well. Clever, I, uh, I love Stribling. I think he's going to start the season as a starter. We'll find out tomorrow night. The Strib club is always open. Matthew Barry said that to me on his podcast yesterday. Yeah, I don't like monochers like that, but that's okay.

It's, it's also not very clever. It's because Brett used to work in a strict club. Yes. No, Brett, Brett's actually stepped foot in a strict Strib club. Okay. So don't, uh, don't discredit me like that. Anyways, Casey conception. You don't got to convince me to love him. Obviously he's, he's my dude. So all right. Let's hit some tight ends and then we're going to tell you some guys to trade away later. Tight ends, um, which is funny because two of these guys were various exotias for you. So I'm not shocked. Depending on the sight you're drafting on, right? George Kittle took her craft. Both coming off made injuries, but then Brock Bowers, uh, a trade for later candidate. I'm, this is what? Okay. Go ahead. Yeah. So, uh, Tucker craft ESPN, Exote at George Kittle, Exote everywhere else. There is this like common thing that happens with their subscribers is they start off slow. Generally, and my team start off slow generally, um, especially if you're in like a tougher league, um, where, you know, I'm my, my team might start one in three and I'll get a lot of angry messages in October.

Where it's like, it's like, what the heck's going on? I can't, I can't buy a win to save my life. You screwed up. I hate you. And then those exact same subscribers in January, like, you're the man. I won my league. That was awesome. And it's like, this is an intentional thing. This is part of the strategy because making the playoffs is kind of easy, especially if you're in a league where six or the 12 teams make the playoffs as opposed to four of the 12, making the playoffs. Like if you follow the draft, I just pretty easy winning the championship is tough. And so I want teams that are better in the, that are elite in the second half. And I don't really care if they're met in the first month of the season. And, but I did make a mental note to myself where it's like, hey, if you're in a trade, happy league, it might make more sense to buy low on a Kittle or craft than to draft them right now. But I thought in this instance, no, the value is just way too good. And you heard it with Tucker craft himself. He was like, yeah, I talked to the coaches. By the way, Green Bay is the most notoriously conservative training staff when it comes to injuries where they really,

really wait extra long on their guys. But Tucker craft had this quote where it's like, yeah, well, they told me once we hit the mid season, Mark, they're going to smack me in the ass and say it's time to go, go all out. Don't hold anything back. But, you know, maybe I'm a little limited to start. And so if that happens, yeah, just pounce by, low on these guys, massive upside, Tucker craft up until his injury was the tight and one, tight and two and fantasy. George Kittle over the last two years combined averages the exact same fantasy points for game is Justin Jefferson. Justin Jefferson goes 10 rounds early. So crazy stat for you right there. If you didn't draft it, you drafted someone else, that's what you do. Why don't you guess why I have Brock Bauer's on this list? Here's my guess. First thing that comes to mind, I think at ADP, he was a terrible draft pick you could make. And there's a chance if you draft it and your team stinks. And so the owner of Brock Bauer's five, six, seven weeks into the seasons,

gonna have to make a move to save the season and the price tag for Brock Bauer's could get significantly cheaper than it was at his ADP. Yeah, that's exactly right. Let me be clear though. Well done. Well done, Brett. See, I learned from you. I knew the slot outside thing you learned from me. This is a great one. I have to be clear here though. Brock Bauer's is a great pick in an 18 lead. Yeah, of course, of course. Okay, to good pick and a 10 team league. Now 12 team league, he's a bad pick. This has to do with positional value, positional scarcity, the premium assets, the power law players, the positions that matter. Those are the running backs and wide receivers. So drafting a tight end that high up against that sort of opportunity cost is generally a losing bet. And so it's not just that this owner potentially started their season off slow because they're weak at running back wide receiver. It's also very likely the case that you drafting optimally, knowing game theory as well as you do following the draft guide, watching the show, waiting on the tight end position.

You have a great team. You're eight months. You're nine and two. And so you can have that luxury to make that upgrade. If you have really strong depth, if you're like really struggling with over with who should I start at the flex each week, yeah, trade one of those guys and upgrade your tight end position. You can afford a premium asset like a Brock Bauer's like a Josh Allen, a potential edge pick at one of those ones. The positions. So that is why I have Brock Bauer's on this list. Love it. Glad I got that right. And then now here's a list of guys you can trade away later. And maybe you could trade one of them for Brock Bauer's actually. Yeah, we can do another plug. Can you get a plug in for us, Brent? Plug whatever you want to plug. Yeah. Well, the low hanging fruit here is fantasy points data.com DS2 for 15% off. This is the premiere football analytics tool available to the consumer. In fact, it's better than all of the tools available to the NFL teams themselves.

Which they pay six figures for and this is plus, plus, plus, yeah. $170 a year. Exactly. The I still haven't turned over every like there's still things in the tool. I haven't myself yet done. There's so much to do in there. It's amazing. So DS2 for 15% off. That is fantasy points data.com data suite 2.0. It's awesome. My plug is just for this YouTube channel or for this podcast. Please like, comment, subscribe. Please leave a five star review or we're trying to do this. Brent and Scott thing out. And so we hope it works so we can keep it going. And yeah, I really think it's it's going to be beneficial to you. I hope it's entertaining. But more than that, I have no doubt like you watch this show. You're going to become a really high level ball. No, you're going to become an elite fantasy player. So please do everything you can to support us out. But we do read your comments. They're, you know, 99% extremely nice. So really appreciate all the support guys.

You know what I'm excited for about this podcast. What's that? We get real football played tonight. It's about time you're listening to this. You'll have seen a real game. Yeah, yesterday. So film takes like that's my extra. Finally, your time to shine. So right. So like I have all I have a little more value now as we turn the corner here into the regular season. So I'm excited for that. That's going to be great for the show. All right, trade away later candidates. You see him on the screen. We got Mike Evans, Devonte Adams, the old ass guys. And then training, right? Do you like how I did that? The old ass guys, they're old, but they're ass guys. Yeah, play on words. I like it. Anyways, why are we trading away like Evans when we love them in easy and exodia? I mean, we might not. I this is, I just threw down like the first three names that came to mind. But really, there's a number of players who fit this mold is this is a general rule that like any DFS player really knows is like you, you play the old guys in week one. And then every week that passes, you like them less and less and less because

they're, they're, they're older. You know, their bodies can't withstand the wear and tear a younger body can. And so you see a drop off in efficiency as the season progresses. You see, you know, more injuries pop up and that kind of slows them down. Where's the, the carry greater injury risk as the season goes on? So like another example is Travis Kelsey, right? Like Travis Kelsey, if you look at our projections, we're pretty high on him this week. Week six, we're probably going to be a lot lower on him. So if you drafted some of these old guys, you have to just keep that in the back of your mind as a potential cell high. Again, watch this show. Read the everything report, which is like, I think the number one article in the industry for, you know, doing stuff like this. And so, yeah, Mike Evans, I love. I think he goes nuclear. I think he smashes from the start. I'd be surprised if he got off to a slow start. And so if it's just like week five, week six, you can trade him away for Zay flowers or CD lamb or a player who went like five rounds earlier.

But like someone is looking at their fantasy points per game and it's like almost the same or Mike Evans is a little higher. I would consider, I would consider doing that. But again, watch this show to be sure Devonti Adams. It's something similar like I'm very bullish on Devonti Adams. If you look at him on a per route basis, he was a top three wide receiver by every stat last year. If you look at him in games, he was off the injury report, wasn't listed as questionable. He was a top six wide receiver last year by XFP per game, XFP per route run, fantasy points per game, fantasy points per route run. The thing that really, he was awesome. And he was, he was good. He was great. He was an elite ask God the only thing that held him back was injuries. And that's something that you have to worry about with both of these guys dealing with injuries. And it doesn't get better later into their career. So two players I like, but potential trade away candidates and then train the bride. It's just there's, there's a chance that we see Carson back starting in the second half. And that's huge. Like this Carson back.

I know he looked kind of good in preseason, but this is a player you had a day three grade on and then Jacobi percent, one of the biggest cheat codes in fantasy from a DFS perspective was always you want to be playing Jacobi percent and stacking him up with his tight end. He was dating back to college. Jacobi percent is always targeted tight ends at the league's highest rate. It was the FPS is highest rate. And then every year he started more than one or two games, highest rate as well. And so that was massive for training the bride, Tramik bride, you know, nearly broke records last year. And so if there's a world where Carson back is starting, that's like me shaving five fantasy points per game off of Tramik bride's projection. Well, what an asshole. This guy's on mute. Can you believe it? There's no way there's no way. Oh my gosh. Anyways, the thing, the thing about Carson back for me and the reason it is a little scary. What's going on with you today?

What do you mean? That's my first blunder. You're the one making blunders over here putting three giants on the list and what's the fantasy football daily drinking game? I don't drink alcohol. Scott, I drink coffee and water. Sorry, wooder. Wooder. Yeah, snow. I was going to give some analysis on Carson. Have you the smoke the time it's not crack if you don't we can't recommend that. What are you talking about? No, double shot of espresso. I'll do that. What about I've been drinking aloe vera juice for my stomach for my crones. Shout out to all the people in chat who's really good for your thyroid too, by the way. Yeah. All right. So do a shot of the aloe vera juice each time one of us tries to talk on it. It's going to happen a lot. Sounds good. Okay. Carson back. Not very good. But here's one of the reasons I was really scared of him. Scott, there's two, two big things that stuck out in his, his scouting profile. One decision making under pressure and decision making when the defense is trying to disguise what they're doing was really bad.

Like bed, wetter, bad, I've been calling them a bed, wetter, right? High pressure moments. He, he wets the bed. The other thing is since he had the elbow surgery after it was a 2024. The juice and the arm just looks completely gone. Like not he's got nothing there. Now I will say in the preseason, his arm did look a little bit more alive and everything I've read from medical experts suggest that is something he can get back at some point. So maybe it's coming back, but between the poor decision making and then I just didn't think it an NFL caliber arm anymore. Really scared, like really scary for a guy like Tramick bride who is kind of a field stretcher. I know he does a lot of short stuff too, but he's a move tied on ultimately. So yeah. All right.
