He doesn't get graded on the parlays.

Niners Rams the same. Saints Lions the same. Browns Jags has not moved.

5:09What about Falcon's Steelers? Has this ticked up from plus three to plus three and a half Steve? All the money on Pittsburgh people do not like to us so Pittsburgh is up to minus three and a half. Woo. Does that make it a go for you or no? I guess it's a go in contest if I can find Pittsburgh minus three. I don't want any part of Atlanta. You know what? Everybody that listens or watches knows. I love getting plus three and a half. I can't do it with the Falcons. I have serious concerns about the Atlanta Falcons. Bears Panthers that line has stayed the same. Ravens Colts has stayed the same. Bucks Bangles no movement. The same with Bill's Texans right where it had been. Jets Titans is the same. Commanders Eagles is the same. We do have some movement Steve. In the Cardinals and the Chargers where the Cardinals were getting ten and you and I

6:17have put two units on it. Now that's down to nine and a half. A lot of people don't think that makes much of a difference. I'm guessing you begged to disagree. Yeah, it's a huge difference. So if you missed the ten just got a lean to Arizona. Maybe play it in contest at nine and a half. But Arizona plus ten. I went back at Dillal Research. These dogs of seven points or higher have done really well week one. And Arizona has offensive firepower. The back doors should be open for them. Dolphins Raiders that line has come down a little bit. The dolphins were getting three and a half perhaps with the Brock Bowers news which we'll get in with to with Dr. Chow. That is why the Raiders are now only favored by three. I took the dolphins plus three and a half and we both took Arizona plus ten. So that's already two games right there Steve where we got half a point of value.

7:19That might have been good fortune with the Bowers injury news coming out after I had taken the dolphins plus the three and a half. Yeah, and you really got a wonder about these injury reports and why the Bowers news broke so late. Raiders looks like a nightmare season again this year. Gentie injury, Bowers injury, Ross houses team going to move the ball trouble. Well that's exactly what Greg Cosell said on the Ross Tucker football podcast. Their receivers are not great. So no Brock Bowers will see how long he's out. They're going to have to run it. The problem is the dolphins know that. And the dolphins are going to be all over trying to stop them from running it. Packers, Vikings, there's been no movement. Cowboys giants is the same as his Broncos chief. So interesting Steve, only what three games where there's been any movement and you and

8:24I got the better of it or at least I got the better of it in two of them. Yeah, and I will say there's been money on the Bears that's gone from two point here. Come decimal spreads. Watch out Ross that spread was like two point eight five. And now it's like three point one. I think the Bears are going to wind up closing three and a half in some spots. So I need to know what you're thinking. I was following your post last night, but what you were thinking, what you're thinking in terms of Sam Darnold. Well, there was some early report. It was it was ankle foot. Never saw that. Then everyone jumped on knee PCL. Could have been, but wasn't that at all the way he came down on the knee.

10:31He came down on the kneecap and all the force drove to his hip. In some ways, it's like a car accident where your knee hits the dashboard. In some ways, it is a milder form of the two of Tagavayola hip fracture dislocation at Alabama, not saying he did all that damage, but it's the same mechanism. And that's why they were worried about fracture. That's why he got an X ray. But an X ray is not necessarily enough because it's a ball and socket joint. It's easy to x ray a bone that's straight, you know, two ways, but a ball and socket joint that's why they got a CT scan to be sure and so far, so far, they're saying great news on the bone aspect. But now you still have to dodge the MRI bullet with the bone bruise, micro fracture and or labral tear associated damage. And that's what's happening today. How long do you think AJ Brown will be out with that spray knuckle?

11:32Well, I think he'll be lucky if he can avoid short term IR. It's not impossible to avoid short term IR. So it's a weak thing, but hopefully not months. Even just with the, it's not even a high ankle spray knuckle, right? Well, call it what you will. It's that type of mechanism. You saw where he grabbed. It was an external rotation force. And he got need lower in the ankle, but was grabbing up higher in the ankle. It's the mechanism, you know, potato potato. It is what it is. And we just go by video for tonight's game, Dr. Chau. Any idea on your end of the approach from the Niners of the Rams, which one you would recommend? The classic one is the 49er approach. But Steve and I talked about it on the Profit Ball Doc podcast. And I don't mind the Rams approach at all. Look, I traveled to Australia with the San Diego chargers.

12:34I'll be it for a preseason game. I've done lots of overseas travel, including recently did Japan. And look, travel that direction is easier than the other way. That's why teams go from East Coast to West Coast, leave on Saturday, but West Coast to East Coast, you leave on Friday. And you got to understand, they're in a lay flat seat. It's like you're in a mini bedroom. It's not even a first class seat, like you think of on domestic flights. I think the Rams strategy makes some sense. They have revealed what I thought they would do, which is not change any of their clocks. They're pretending they're still on L.A. time as they're there and never acclimating. But Steve made this great point on the podcast. The following week, slash weeks will clearly favor the Rams over the 49ers. What about Brock Bowers and this Miniscus trim? That's a big one I need to get your thoughts on. Well, the question is, is this still related to the PCL that he had last year?

13:39We've also had a lot of attention to PCL's given Ricky Purseau. Brock Bowers also had a PCL. Don't think it's a stability issue, but it can cause Miniscus tears. The only good news that's already happened before we knew about it and the clocks are already ticking and hopefully we're expecting him to return without any short-term IR designation. Wow, that would be wonderful. I just hate such a good young player like this already having an issue. Here's the deal. Every week, Dr. Chow is going to join us. 16:43I think the Tennessee will be a better team over the course of the year, but the jets are better right now. And I'll be on Houston more than likely. I think Houston's D will get after Buffalo. So I can speak to that one because that's the game I'm calling for CBS. And if you look at it, the Houston Texans have really had Josh Allen and the bills number. I mean Steve, they have been all over Josh Allen. The worst games he's played last year, he got sacked eight times. The year before that, I forget his completion percentage was well below 50%, which is unheard of for Josh Allen. The thing is, and maybe it'll be different this year with DJ more. But the thing is is the really, I think that the decorinator Steve for the Houston Texans Matt Burke, I think he said that they only gave up a touchdown on one drive last year.

17:51One touchdown where they didn't give up an explosive play in the passing game. Well, the bill don't have that many of them because they don't really throw the ball down the field. Haven't really had a guy to stretch the field. Maybe DJ more makes a big difference. We'll see, but I certainly can see why you have the Texans right now. I mean, for them to be a home dog Steve with the way they've dominated the bills in recent years. That's a really surprising line to me. And I can see that's why that's one of your picks. Yeah, 100% and like I said, I probably will tweak this by example. Like if I can get the Giants plus three and a half, they're going to be an addition into my card. We'll see what that what that number is. So I'm very sensitive to obviously the line value. What I can get in the contest versus what the market line is when I submit. Do you, Steve, typically are you almost always taking dogs and pick them contests like

18:53this? Oh, no, I'll certainly play favorites. As an example, would love to get Pittsburgh minus three against Atlanta, but I believe in splash sports and I apologize. I don't have the numbers in front of me. I believe all their numbers are half points. So I know it won't be Pittsburgh minus two and a half. But I'd say maybe 55% dogs, 45% favorites. So five dogs, but Steve's looking closely at the giants, looking closely at the Steelers, depending on what the lines end up being on Sunday. But then if a game starts obviously you're locked in, but even after a game starts on other games, if you want to change your selections, you can do it on Sunday morning, I believe. All right. Speaking of tweaks, what do we have for props this week? Steve, you always have some good props for us. Want to know where you're at this week? So I'm going to tonight's game, San Fran Rams. I want to play second half over 23 and a half. You can get that at reduced vigorous, which is nice at draft kings. I always think teams start slow to start the season. So I don't want the game over certainly, but the second half, getting that all important hook

21:54on the 24 over 23 and a half makes sense to me. I know you guys love parlays. I don't love parlays. I don't play parlays, but I'm, hey, you order a well done steak. You're the customer. I'll bring you a well done steak, right? So a three team parlay, fourth quarter bets, Ross. We talked about the back door being open. I'm going to play Arizona in the fourth quarter plus two and a half. I'm going to play the Saints in the fourth quarter plus two and a half. And I'm going to play the Miami Dolphins fourth quarter plus a half, a three team parlay on fourth quarter bets here for me for our recreational fun. So you got to explain why, why, why is that your, the parlay you're going with this week? I consistent theme of the, the dogs having value in the fourth quarter across the board. And because I know you guys love parlays, personally, I'm just going to bet those straight, but you love parlays. So I put them all together.

22:57So the thought is underdogs in the fourth quarter, decent chance there behind. And they win the fourth quarter because they're behind. And they don't need to win it. They just need to tie it, which is, and also, you know, getting the plus two and a half can oftentimes be big because the fourth quarter, sometimes you get two point conversions, things like that. It's not unusual to get like a funky nine, seven, 10, eight type of fourth quarter score. Why out of the props, Steve, did you pick the Rams Niners? By your logic and what you said, you could have picked any of them. Just because it's tonight's game. And I thought, let's get, let's get some action here on the second game of the NFL. Oh, God. Okay. So there's not, not anything really specific there. Yeah. I mean, also the menu is so much more expansive when I look at tonight's game because all the props are up. So there's a lot more to choose from.

23:58You know, I should have asked you this earlier, Steve, but we rarely get this opportunity where there was a game last night. What were your takeaways from, you know, the Seahawks and the Patriots, if any, from a betting perspective? Either one of us had anything on the game, other than, of course, it was plus three and it landed plus three, unbelievable. Bad loss for the Patriots to not be able to beat Drew Locke, right? Drake May really gave away the game. I think you nailed it. Good betting won last night. Good betting, meaning all summer long, this line was four. So if you played the Patriots early, even two days before the game, you would have gotten the plus three and a half, but prop betting wise. My goodness. You look at the news. Henderson is banged up for New England. So Stevenson's going to get more carries. Ross got to the news too late.

24:59Stevenson was 44 earlier in the week. He closed 58. He lands 51. So if you bet Stevenson over when the news was just breaking about Henderson, likely not playing you one. If you played it before the game started, you lost. And that really is the key here, getting in front of all the information on injuries like that and getting the best of the number, it wins in the long run. Unbelievable. I mean, that's the lesson is that if you got the Patriots early, if you got Ramandre Stevens in early, you won. If you waited till right before kick, you lost. Unbelievable.
