Hello everybody. Welcome to the show on a Friday. You listen to the lyrics there. It's like,
so who are we saying? I think we're keeping losers. I like to think that that's them saying
all of us. We're all effing losers. The collective, the royal way. Yeah, it's not like we're sitting
here on some high and mighty perch, some pedestal looking down upon others and saying, you, you effing
losers. We're all losers together, people. That's right. Stick together. It's the big bunch of
big times of need. How's our sick loser doing? I'm a little worried about him. I'm dying today.
I'm way worse than yesterday. I sound worse. He's sound horrible. Hey Jack, kiss my ass.
How many call over? Let's go for a drink. Oh, a lot of that idea.
Is he weakened? Is it a little Edmonton? No, no. I'm going to go to Calgary. We call it shit.
Now you got to go to the Amos. That's no good. Oh, retro. Hello. It's not good. It's not good.
This shows a presentation of Bet365 hockey fans. Check out Bet365's three goal early payout.
When your team goes up three, you get paid. It's that simple. Download the app today. It must be 19 years
of age or older. Please play responsibly. That's all we ask. You know, be responsible with that ship.
We've got the Super Chat going. You centers of Calgary will benefit whatever money comes our way
inside the chat as far as the Super Chat's going to go to the new centers. We're going to ask you
to be responsible for those as well. Yeah, I mean, yeah, less so. Less so, I guess. But here we are
in the suddenly chilly McLeod law LLP studios. McLeod law, we had the heat pumping in here yesterday.
It was hot. I had to crack open windows sunny. Who loose guy loose guy city rep?
It's okay. It's like city. It's like a sad country song out there today.
There's clouds. You're in the sky. Dog died. Sometimes I got a shoe in dogs.
Can't have sun every day. Something like that. Is it bad out? I haven't been outside. It's pissy.
I saw that. Yeah, pissy pissy rain chilly. Yeah, why are you so pissy? Why are you so pissy?
Yeah. Yeah.
So anyway, that's what I'm going on. Yeah, it'd be a soup day, stew day. What's the weekend though?
Because if you make chances are you make chili or stew or so you're going to have leftovers.
Need some time. Don't don't be sure it's cited on it.
No, it's going to be chilly here for a little bit. What?
Tomorrow high like not not freezing cold. But high of eight, high seven, high of two,
high of eight. Yeah, it's yeah, it's flat fucked right? Yeah, we're yeah.
There's a zero and foggy. It says here there's a yellow advisory for fog. I mean,
Oh, I hope there's a shoe so they're heading north.
Goodness gracious. Yellow moderate.
Three are moderate possible threat to life or property. What?
Hey, if I'm a candidate settle the fuck down. It's pretty wise foggy out. Life or property?
And or yellow advisory fog severity moderate possible threat to as far as
possible threat to life or property moderate. Okay, good. Yeah, moderate.
Traffable be hazardous in some location rat. There might be a significant impact on rough hour traffic.
Rough hour rush hour.
Fire mechanic take just, you know what? Mix, mix one in, mix a water in, just cool down. Just hit
a temple with bare mechanic settle down. We got a lot of to go on today. We got a trigger coming up.
I believe, believe Drake's going to join us coming up here. It is a Calgary Flames game day.
Get your helmet on. The two-time rating. Defending Stanley Cup champion. Back to back.
Florida Panthers are in town tonight to take on the Calgary Flakes.
They're doing God's work. They sure are. They're doing great work out there. We're proud of them.
Always good to see old friends. Good to see AJ Greer yesterday. Look at this.
There they are. Yeah. Yeah. Brown dog for a second. Yeah, I freaked out. I'm like, is he all right?
Love. Wow. Yes. Oh, retro.
What's chunk? Think of that. The big cat. Has it get intimidated? Got to size them up.
Yeah, this is himself a little bit. Yeah, you're big prick. You should.
Uh, cats are in town. Look out. Cats in the cradle. That's what they say.
The, uh, the Panteros, the Panthers, the Floridians themselves.
Four-nothing win last night in Edmonton over the Oilers.
Well, the chicks take the Panteros when they win on the road, Dean. That's what happens.
I heard that. Yeah. Your buddy, Bob, or 21, save shut out.
This 53rd career shut out.
Jesus, that feels like a lot. It's a lot. It may. They may hate Edmonton more than we do.
I just love that in a lost year when nothing went right and their captain hasn't played
a single game, they still just mop Edmonton. Just looking across social media last night,
it was, it was humbling for the hawks up there. Oh, it's, uh, very uninspired, very flat.
You know, it was just not, uh, way, way. It was a way. Yeah. The, uh,
and the Panthers, I mean, they're just okay right now. They're okay.
They're okay. I mean, like right now, like I was looking this morning, they, uh,
they have around 500 here last four and two in their last six. Sure.
With that prior to that, they were two and nine. They're out of the playoffs.
So like, they're just okay right now. Yeah. And made, uh, fairly easy work of the Oilers.
AJ Greer is in the top nine. That's all you need to know. God bless him.
Fourth liner. I don't want to get this to dig to it. It's more about the Panthers and the Flans.
It's not about the Oilers, but they did play last night. The Oil? Yeah. Right. So I don't want to get
that franchise still hanging around it. When McDavid, which he was last night in a shuttle
loss, when he is held off the score sheet. Yeah. Yeah. This season, the Oilers are O-10 and two.
Huh. You can stick that right in my veins, do you know?
Yeah. And I don't want to make it about them. It's not about them.
O-10 and two. Yeah. I'm right. That down. Look at that. He's writing it down.
Like on one hand, there's only 12 games that he's been held off the score sheet. But on the other,
but on the other, they're they're one zero. They're fucking brutal without it.
Yeah. It's, it's weird because it almost feels like they just won a lottery and don't know how to
run a hockey team, but think they're good. Doesn't it feel like that sometimes? What is he thinking?
Get me the out of here. Because, you know, somebody he's he'd be reading that stat somewhere.
He would come up saying, are we O-10 and two?
The hell am I doing here? On health. Jesus.
Even he's like, hello, Jesus. O-10, it's fellas. Fellas, O-10, O-10, not one,
nine or two. If I'm not lifting, I take one day off in 82. No.
Well, it's not about them. It's about the flames of the panties. That's a real shame. I'm
broken up about that. I figured you might be. Yeah. I figured you might be. The flames,
they beat the path. There's already this season. That sounds fake, but I'll accept it. Oh, remember
that at all. Oh, yeah. They did that old Southeast swing where they usually go in three.
November 28th, as we harken. Good harkening on a Friday. Yeah. Five, three was the final score.
The Panthers. They were up to nothing early. Was this the coolie thing where we let the first two
shots in? Two nothing early. Two fifty eight in. Then Devon Cooley said,
Fuck you guys. Lock the darts. Thirty eight saves, stood in his head. Flames get the first NHL
goal from Cooznetz off. Then it's some weager, some frosts, some cadre. Martianne would make it.
Four to three. Joel Fairby said, is that an empty net? I love those things. It was count. And they
count the same. So I'm going to put it right in there. Five, three, final. Do your boy. Yeah.
So that'll mean a lot tonight. Was that a revenge? I'll be on their mind.
Was that American Thanksgiving then? Was that when we were sitting at the house here?
November 28th might have been. And that's close. Yeah. I'm not sure.
I thought I had enough detail there. I don't know what day of the week it was. No,
but we did. It's been banged up at Red Soes. Jack was sifting through the laundry. We had a great
day at Red Soes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I said, we know this about the Panthers.
Not about Jack and panty droids, but we know this about the Panthers, banged up.
Then I've been a banged up kind of year. They're dinged up, do you know?
They got banged up after the cup win. In the cup. Yes.
And then in the cup win afterwards at the elbow room, they were banged up for a long time.
And the season started. It's like, ooh, Sasha went down in three seasons.
It's not. We haven't started games yet. Barca was out for, ooh, that's not good.
Like a chuck missed a bunch of time. Didn't listen back to what Christmas. Yeah. After Christmas.
Um, Sam Reinhart, one of the, one of the Panthers who has been healthy.
Leads the team in goals, assists, points, power play goals,
power play points, shorthanded goals, everything, game winning goals and shots on goal.
And he's probably having it down here. Yeah. I think it's probably okay. He's about 15
of the year, but it tells you he's got 29 goals. Oh, uh, fine. Jeez. Yeah. He's been,
that's been a good year for Bennett. He, I think last night, it's now a career high in points
for him this year. He's got 25 goals, which ties a career high, but he's got up to, uh,
I think he hit 53 last night. So that's a new high for him. I'm here with the eggs.
So yeah, it signs the big deal. It's like, oh, it's, that's not going to be money well spent.
And I, that's early, but yeah, it's early. It's so far so good. But yeah, the Panthers,
the run is, uh, the run is going to come to an end. There'll be a new Stanley Cup champion this year.
Are we all on board? That's safe to say. There's certain things I need to have, but yeah.
I'll accept uh, 30 other teams. Right. Yeah. Not so much the Panthers. Yeah. This is what I'm kind of
getting on. Yeah. So what about this flames team? Uh, right, you're into the Kookie science.
What is that Mars mission start? Cause I'm going to sign a little application for Vic Olives in
there. Oh, you don't like Vic Olives? And he's a shooter. I just think you need to start.
Anyone can explore the intergalactic universe and such. I feel like Vic's the guy for us. He can
go away. Slick Vic. I don't know what to make of the flames. The flames, uh, they got to be careful
here. We can't be climbing the standings. Here's the thing. They've got the three wins. They've
hit the quota. Don't be show off now. We were allowing you three wins in March. There's a lot of
march. Lot of lots of worried that the Panthers would have any lost season had a maybe some
emotional attachment to beating the Oilers. Yeah. That's, uh, that's, that was big. That was the
last night. I just worry that maybe tonight it might be a flat-fuck Friday, as they say.
Hmm. I also have the sphere. By the way, what are you hammering? You get Ivermectin or all of it.
Yeah. All of it really. There was vitamins A through Z. Yeah. All not that I am not ingesting
and shooting into my body. It's really helping. Are you at all concerned that, uh, it's like
Jack and Nashville, that you're able to get to these levels of illness with how, I mean, you're,
you're a science experiment. I would be worse. Like I said, I think I would actually be worse if
I wasn't doing all of it. What did you change from yesterday? You seem a lot. I did not sleep
last night, Ryan. I had a terrible sleep. The sleep is a, it's integral. I can't just breathe.
Couldn't breathe it. You're too nervous about having drag around today or what?
Wow. I love hearing drag stories. I wish with drags would be part of our, uh, candy or
chocolate bracket. Oh, we could show. We'll get us thoughts. No question about it. Yeah, we'll get us
thoughts. Um, yeah, I'd, I'd wolf time. Coolie last time. I think probably you're attempting to
sell this game in some way, shape or form. Well, we have, we're here to inform you decide.
No, I just, uh, we're all on the same page. Everyone is. I've not met a single person that's
not on this page, right? And I don't want to cheer a little bit. It's like, okay, well,
you could have handily beaten St. Louis the other night. Yeah, those, those,
this a lot of goals, they were all in and some of them were quite nice. That blizzed video judge,
uh, the goal, right? The, the Faribi goal was a nice goal, Sharon Govich, nice shot. There were
some nice goals. It could have been a four one hockey game very easily.
Settle down. Settle down. You had a fun night the other night. You didn't want to went out. You
had some wings. Maybe after that game, wings had some wings on a Wednesday. Just settle back into,
just, it's jury out. It's, it's raining. You're not going out tonight. Panthers got to get on a
plane and leave afterwards. Anyway, they may as well take the wind and go where they go on.
Vancouver. I think you're going back home. They're done. I think they were in Vancouver already. Yeah.
Yeah. I like kind of this jib. Anyone go under this game tonight?
Reinhardt is out or at least has not played on this road trip. Which one? Cole or, uh,
Sam? Not cool. I'll think probably both. Um, calls it in the fourth line. Uh, I'm thinking of
Schwint. I'm thinking of, yeah, there's two Reinhardts because Schwint is injured. There's two
calls and two Reinhardts. It's so hard to keep up. Yeah. Um, just don't get, don't get cute.
Play hard, entertain the fans. It's a Friday night. Are you going to get an all, uh,
beard up? No, I took care of that last night. You did, eh?
All right. Home alone. He did.
Jack says, yes, he did. Were you, were you part of that part of it? Or were you getting
updates? Are we kidding me? Regularly. Yeah. Jack and I know more about each other than we let
you guys know about us. I believe the text was, I should not be at the ship right now. Right now.
Right now. It was 106 with a table full of drinks. Are you not parenting solo right now? Yes,
scene. Zip it. Brian met some boys from Montana. Yeah, there's some losers up from Montana
on their spring break. They're so excited about cheap drinks where you had to entertain them.
Yep. Didn't have to, but you know, it's another time to just look like what is it? I was
out with Commissioner boobs. We were having a time. Oh, what a guy. He's still drunk.
Let's go to the insider hot. Yeah, it's probably good idea. See, no way to go to this.
This is not a way to go to drags. No, we're sorry, Dr. We don't want to circle you into this.
And then it was one o'clock and I was at the ship, but it's like, who's at home with my kids right now?
All right, Zip it. Time for the insider hotline, a proud presentation of Crystal Waters plumbing and

Crystal clear Calgary.com. As we check in, there is with the insider Darren Drager.
Hello, Jigs. He got me boys. He got me. We got you. Were you out of the ship and anchor at
104 AM or? No, is that just one of us on screen? Well, it feels like I was because I mean,
I'm not a tech savvy guy even a little bit. And I'm surprised you can hear me because I can only
kind of hear you. And I've got some computer audio nonsense going on here that I like the next
thing that's going to happen is this laptop is going through the window. That's what's going to happen.
Maybe I was. Maybe I was in the bar until two in the morning. It kind of feels like I mean,
it's just a viewer or a drag. Do you want to take a minute? Because we can hear you fly.
Okay, now we're good. Your asses. This is going full of labyrinthous because
Peter Labyrinthous, we love. Friend of the show. Let it. Anything with like a chip in it.
Not good. Yeah. Lubos struggled with the technology. Walks was another one. It was so yeah,
it was tough. Yeah, it was tough to handle. So you were at the general manager's meetings.
How did you do it? I was. Yeah, it's been on you the whole time. I heard it was not good weather.
Now, weather was lousy. I mean, it's better than what I'm looking at right now in southern Ontario,
but Wednesday was near Hurricane Force winds. Teaming rain. All the nonsense. But you know what?
You're in a nice resort. You know, it's it's not heavy lifting. Even though we actually had some
stuff to talk about, which can be a tad unusual with these meetings. But once he had all that
cleaned up by mid afternoon, it was warm enough to at least straddle up to the pool bar,
where there were several unnamed NHL general managers. So. Right. Yeah. And it's tough to
recognize. Yeah. Yeah. You can always tell the guys who are locks in the playoffs.
They're they're great, man. They're they're golden. And then you've got the guys who are not
even anywhere close to the cut line. And they're okay. They're disappointed. But,
you know, there's no stress. What are you going to do? You'll deal with that in the offseason.
The guys that are in the fight right now to try and claw their way in.
They're nowhere near that pool bar. They're. You can't be. You can't be.
The rules trying to keep the wolves at bay. That's what I did see. Greg Conroy wasn't one of
the several that I saw at the pool bar. But I did see Connie a couple of times. You guys
are going to be impressed. I saw him when we checked in. He was right behind me and checked in
on Sunday night. And then the next time I saw him, he was in the gym. And he was working out.
Well, he's walking. He needs. He needs. I was going to say, were you were you spotting him or was
he spotting you tarps off? How do we do in here? No, I see. It's kind of a weird setup. It's one
of those hotels where all right, you've got the ocean and the pools and everything on this side.
And it's a glass hallway. So you walk through. You look to your left or look to your right. You
see the water and the pools. You look to the other side. And there is a run of treadmills and
steppers and all of that. So it's kind of the walk of shame. And every time I walk through there,
you've got because most of the managers are pretty active still, right? They're all the majority
of them are former athletes, former NHL players. And they're still after it. So I walk through
there, are waddle through there. And these guys are all grinded in a way. And I'm like, okay,
this is a walk of shame. Now, with I remember, it was not that long ago, that it was actually the
old dog, Jeff O'Neill, I think on his Twitter gave you some praise and say, hey, you know what?
Saw drags crushing it on the on the treadmill this morning. And I mean, he had a fair clip too.
Well, don't drags doing some. Why? Just complete BS. Is that right?
None of it. And even though people were sour that there was a rating system and they weren't
being named to any of Jeff O'Neill's ratings, the dog wasn't in that gym. No,
no, dogs. You might have been, you might have been in the diner across the street, but he wasn't in
the gym. The dog. I find some of the stuff that comes, I'll do respect it. I pinder kind of
gets into it. And some of the stuff that comes out of port of governors or GM's meetings,
it's like, oh, boy, I just, yeah, I kind of glaze over his, okay, because at the end of the day,
it just feels like nothing's going to happen. It felt like it was, there was some tension this week.
We heard about some tension between maybe a general manager or two and Gary Bettman,
whether it be players, you know, hits to the head, the playoffs and the playoff rankings,
Billy Garen's kind of, yeah, not going to feel great to be the third best team in the league and
be out after round one potentially. No. Is that kind of, did it, did that just become kind of
public knowledge this time? Or is there some contention when these things get together?
I think it's more about, it just became public. And I don't think that there, it was hot or
contentious. I don't, I, you know, I mean, the guy we're talking about here is Eric Tulski
of the Carolina Hurricanes. And my understanding is he may have questioned the consistency around
rule 48, you know, contact with the head. And I think he was pretty much told that by the commissioner,
we're calling it the way we've called it. And nothing has changed in that regard.
So I don't think it was hot or overly contentious, but there was a point of order. I think that
was established. There was ample decision or discussion on goal interference. I mean, to a point
we're all kind of confused because, you know, one game you'll see this, another game you'll see
that and the two are similar, but they're called completely differently. And that's almost a
staple of GM meetings to be fair. And I don't think it was hotly debated because I think hockey
operations just, you know, clarifies by saying, look, there's, there are no two goal interference
incidents that are the same. They may look similar, but they're not identically the same. They
can't be. And because of that, it boils down to a judgment call. So there was, there was some
discussion on that. You know, kind of what, what fueled some of the, the fire going in was the
Radco good as five game suspension right before the GM meetings, right? Because then George
Perales came under fire because Judm all day for the agent went after him, went after the
Department of Player Safety, Connor McDavid, you know, came out just before the meetings and he
indicated that he at least would like some questions answered and a little bit more work done
to see if there is a better means of, of, of dispensing supplemental disciplines. So those were the
primary things. And you guys can walk through any direction you want here, but what didn't get as
much attention as it deserved. And it's not a sexy item, but it's a big one because they spent
two plus days talking about it is the fact that 19 year old players from the Canadian hockey leagues
will be able to play in the American League next year. And again, two full days, those general
managers talked about it. And they gave it that amount of weight out of respect to the CHL.
And we're not having this conversation. If the NCAA doesn't open its, you know, guidelines to,
yeah, to allow CHL players to play division one, right? So what does a 19 year old do if he's been
in major junior hockey for three years, he's drafted by the NHL. And he doesn't think that there's
a whole lot of growth for him, developmentally in junior hockey. Well, he's going to play college,
right? He'll have that option now. Or wait a minute, the National Hockey League who owns your
playing rights professionally. Now they have a spot for you at the American Hockey League. Why,
why is that such a bad thing? So we don't know how many players, how many 19 year olds per team
yet are going to be allowed to play. I don't think we're going to see a flood of 19 year olds
to the American League. I don't. But I do think that they're working on the details still.
I want to see what that framework looks like. But I do think that it is a step of progression.
I'm kind of hesitating in saying that because I've been a big believer in the Canadian Hockey League
by entire life. And I'm not changing now. But I think it's just a stomach and it's bread from
changes at other levels of hockey. I could dive into this for hours with you. And I think we'd
bore everyone. But I think that you can argue the opposite way too. And I don't know if I'm
making sense when I say that is it. The WHO love it. I'm supposed to go to Saskatoon, see Chaser
tomorrow, Mark Walton, their new retirement jerseys, blah blah blah. There's no reason the WHO
needs five seasons of your life. 16 year old kids. You shouldn't be able to play in a junior
hockey at 15 at all. You don't need to. There are kids that can do it, but it's not a necessity
for their development. At 16, you can play, but you still don't need to. And if you push that talent
down and keep it together for longer, then people aren't racing to get out of there. But because
we splintered and taken the top kids, now everyone else thinks, well, I got to be a top kid,
so I got to leave the league that's really good for me. So I don't think that opening it up
is a bad idea. But I think slowing kids down is a good idea too. There's no one to listen,
but it's a race. And a lot of kids suffer because it is a race. And you don't need it to be a race.
I think it's better off your point on the younger players is a valid one. And
multiple general managers raised that as an area of concern. That, yeah, let's look at the
western hockey league. You bring up the Saskatoon blades. The western hockey league for years has
pushed back at these younger kids, you know, and said, no, we're not there. You're 15. Now,
go play mentioned hockey, do whatever you 15, whatever they call it now, all of that. And the
fear among managers, NHL managers is that the CHL has become is going to become almost like a
tier two system where the league will be younger, right? So the western league, the Ontario league,
the Quebec league, now they'll have those kids at 16, 17 and maybe 18, but how long
before things loosen up even a little bit and not just Gavin McKenna goes to college hockey.
Maybe you, you look at that two ways. Maybe 15, very good draft eligible players go into college
hockey. You know, the hope is that no, it's the opposite. Gavin McKenna in medicine at this
year gets what? 125 points. Well, I did 50. Yeah. You know, so he's going to finish in Penn
State with what? 60. Now, obviously, it's just that much harder of a league to play in. You're playing
against 21, 22, 23 year old men. And there are some who, you know, McKenna's likely going first
over all. But if you're an 18 year old, are you willing to risk that you're not going to be
as dynamic at college? So there's all kinds of layers to this entire feeder system conversation.
There is all kinds of layers and it goes back even further to minor hockey where I'm going to
bring it up again because I'm a believer in it. The Americans play year of birth, play year of
birth. Yeah. You don't need to combine these years. Right. Kids going through it and you get kids
are physically able and it's a, it's a mess for them and it's, it's, there's enough kids out there.
You do not need two years of, of, of to make a team. You don't need to combine them. Yeah,
we're not sure it on players. That's fair. Yeah. Anyway, I don't. Yeah. Back to junior. I was
Saskatoon. The blades put it on. Chaser's going to be there. That's awesome. Awesome. Awesome.
Where did you play in that old barn? Or was that past? No, I watched the old barn. I used to go
watch Chaser and Twister and all those bastards. Yeah. Kevin Kaminsky and Jeff Hodgers once fought
in that old building. Like at least twice in one game. They might have been 16, 17 at that age.
And I mean, I happen to be there because I was going to school. I think it was like 86 or 87,
something like that. And I, to the wildest flights I've ever seen Wolverines attacking each other.
Oh my God. That was a great. And we're talking. This is ancient history and a very small
percentage of the people know what the hell we're talking about. But Kevin Kaminsky,
how old would he have been at 16 or 17 pound for pound the most fearless guy maybe ever to play
in the Western League? Yeah. Just bananas. Like killer. You get the nickname. Yeah. It's not bad,
you know, you earned that. Hey, his family has a, their small town arena in Churchbridge,
Saskatchewan is, is named after the Kaminsky family. Yeah. Kaminsky. Yeah.
We're back to the 19 year old rule just for a second. Cause yeah. In this, in this city,
and like that rule has been a pet peeve mind forever. And I get that it's a major developmental
artery. It's just less than less percentage of the NHL has passed through it. I see the leverage
changing whatever. That's that. But we're watching Zane Perek here who is one of the top prospects
in the sport. And he compiles 30 goals and 100 points as a demon in the old. And to your point
earlier, there's nothing left to learn. You're probably only going to collect bad habits if you
go back to what Saginaw or whatever. This would have been the perfect year to place this kid in the
American hockey league and play. Well, and once he signs, he can't go. But yes, if he'd known that
if that was laid out, he might not have signed. Right. And the rules remark you at that time.
That's a fair point by you. But if this guy could be playing top-air minutes in the American league
for 70 games, that's the thing. I think this is one of those situations where the player,
Saginaw, everybody would look at it and say, well, this is just clearly makes the most sense.
It's just there's going to come at a time where it's, well, that kid wouldn't is not necessarily
better off playing there than he would be here. I mean, it's clear as day with with Perek,
but it's always how. And so what you have is like one of the most important pieces in this, you know,
architecture worked the Connery has done overhauling this roster. And he's not ready for the NHL
in a lot of ways. I think you can see what's going to theoretically make him special. But you also
just were like, well, he's not strong enough and time and space are not there for him. And it just
feels like that almost a lost season developmentally. And then what are your top prospects that's worth
millions of dollars to this franchise for what he could potentially be? It just feels like a lost
season. Like, I think this is a very interesting thing. Yeah. Or what if you have, and again,
we have to that eventually they're going to publicize the framework of what the agreement is between
the NHL and the CHL specific to this issue. You know, what if you had a deadline or a moving mark?
Okay. We all know that they've got to play nine 10 games, right? The NHL level and then your
entry level contract comes in a question. But what if then it shifted to the American league,
where you had until maybe the world juniors? Sure. That comes your cut off. And then the NHL club
dislike. So you go from your NHL nine 10 games to the American league, you played out until the
world juniors. And then the NHL club decides, okay, well, you slept a little bit in your last 10
games of the year, the American league before playing at the world juniors, or you slept period.
And we want you to go back to major junior because we want you to feel good,
dominate in the remainder of the year and then come back and we're all ready to go. I mean,
all of those things, those parameters could be employed here. But there is, there's one outlier.
And I think that this also has encouraged the NHL to act on this as quickly as they're going to
in time for next year. You guys know Prodash, Alexei Prodash who plays with Washington capitals.
His younger brother is a 19 year old playing in the American Hockey League and doing very, very well.
But he's a 19 year old playing there because he came out of the USHL. So now you've got again,
so the national Hockey League, and it isn't bullying, I think what they're trying to do,
I know what they're trying to do, to remove, think, I know what they're trying to do.
They're trying to align all of their feeder systems to march as one. And so this is why,
all of a sudden you get people who conjure up the idea of, hey, maybe the USHL and the CHL
will merge one day. You know, how interesting would that be? And man, throw that at the president
of the CHL, Dan McKenzie, and look out because you're getting a blast coming back. They're so protective.
But they do have to align the rules and what you can and can do. It's a double standard.
Like, gridden's the same age as Perrek, and he's allowed to play in the year this year
because he was drafted out of the USHL. You played one year and the people wasn't drafted out of it.
And Perrek was in the, oh, isn't allowed. It's just like, to your point, yeah, they're the same
birth year. They'll figure it out. That's what it is, right? And it's just frustrating that it's not,
it's a double standard. This kid can, this kid can. The question I, wow, the only other thing I
question I do have is, yes, they want to align it in the USHL and the CHL. They can probably have
some pretty good sway or the colleges willing to listen. And is that part, is that part of the
alignment that you're discussing or you're mentioning? Like, because the colleges to me are like,
we don't give a shit. We're, I don't think that's ever going to change. Yeah. So you're, but that's
just it. Like the NHL wants to streamline and have the pipeline work together. Yes, the colleges
are kind of outliers where they're not going to fall in line without some real convincing.
I don't look at it at a college anytime. That's the difference. No, I mean, the MCAA is going to
march to the beat of its owner. They're just going, yeah, we're going to do whatever we want to do.
I think that, you know, when, when the process was developing whereby major junior players could
go to the NCAA, the hope of the expectation was that they'd develop relationships, right?
From one major junior team to a specific college. So it does become almost a developmental chain,
right? You keep this kid for three years, maybe four, and then we'll take him at 1920.
I'm not so sure it's going to play out that way. And it didn't take long. Did it for it not to
play out that way with Gavin McKenna going to Penn State as an 18 year old.
Let's shift gears a little bit. I'm curious now. I think we were talking maybe yesterday
of the day before that just the whole, the doldrums, the dog days, the Olympic break, you come back so
many games, we're playing every other night, but you're starting to get that math. It's the way,
at least how it works for me. It's okay. It's a 68 gauge. Once you get to 72, oh, we got 10 left.
Now you can really start to kind of compare, cart, pet, whatever it is,
compartmentalize it. Some teams need to get their shit together. And it's like, we really do need
to hurry. And some other teams are like, we're out a bit of a wobble here, but we're fine. Don't
don't worry about it. I think of it's, I think of it's team like Vegas. They lose again. They
they're not playing well at all right now. I don't think they're going to miss. But it's like,
is this how you're going to go into the playoffs? The oilers probably the same way.
Then there's some other teams Columbus. They can't, they couldn't, they didn't want the
Olympic break. And they can't get the playoffs here fast enough because right now they're in it
for one, but they they're just not losing games. What teams were you the most right now as we're
in that neighborhood of 12-ish games across the board away from the things started?
Well, I'm under a bottle off for sure. They kind of, they'll take a step forward and then
they'll shoot themselves in the foot. Like last night, there were incredible swings, particularly
in the Eastern Conference with the wins and the losses last night. And for me, it looks now like
the Ottawa Senators are just flat out going to run out of runway. And that's too bad because
that's a team that for the most part this year has played well enough to be in the Eastern
Conference playoff equation. They may not be. And if they don't qualify, then you know the knives
are going to come out because Steve's day else is going to, he's going to have some explaining to
do and it's not his fault. You know, I mean, he acquired Linus Almark paid a price, you know,
extended the goalie, thinking that all right, we've got to prove in that mind you're here, our
goalie problems are over. And yet pretty much all this season, the instability in goal is plagued
the Ottawa Senators. So that's a team that I wonder about Detroit because of the injuries that
they had to lark and and cop, you know, will they find a way like they did last night, you know,
I guess we'll see. But they're kind of on the edge. I know Winnipeg was was turning into what was
going to be arguably one of the better second half stories we've had in a while because they
not long that long with Winnipeg jets were 11 points out of the playoff spot. And you know,
then all of a sudden they've clawed their way all the way back to four. And then they took it in
the teeth last night. So there's a number of teams. I mean, the reason Gary Batman keeps pushing
back at any sort of scheduling tinkering or change is because of what we're experiencing, right?
Incredible playoff races, right down to game 82. And then you get just off the charts, playoff
intensity in the first round and often in the second round, you know, the sad reality and the
cost of doing that is that two or three or four really good teams get bounced in the first two
rounds. And that's why we continue to push for a better way. But it's impossible to argue against
the playoff entertainment that we're already feeling now. Do you see any real opportunity for
change because it feels like Gary's dug his heels in on that? I would say there isn't. And I know
that the general manager executive committee raised it one more time on Sunday,
informally in an informal meeting, not all managers are there with Batman and daily.
It was basically glossed over and they got the same sort of response that they always get
from the commissioner. No, it's not broken. There's no need to fix it. I guess the one thing that
I always come back to though is because I hear from owners, I hear from general managers,
I hear from players that they all want the idea of change thoroughly discussed, not speculated on.
Let's have a discussion about it. Who wouldn't want to see rather than 84 regular season games?
Wouldn't you like to see 80 or 82 leave it the way it is and then a play in round?
Like who wouldn't watch play in hockey? Of course we would. I mean the eyeballs would be tremendous.
Hockey revenue would increase and receding into the playoffs or one versus eight, I don't know.
I think anything you can do to protect the better teams who have gone through the blood,
sweat and tears of an 80 plus game regular season should get a little bit more bang for their buck.
But all the people I've talked about, billionaires, both powerful men in hockey have not been able
to convince commissioner Batman that this is a good idea. So I guess it's up to us in the media
just to continue to chew on the coyotes and phoenix for 20 years. I mean it's going to take
true. It's going to take a while. He's taking it. Yeah. He had a cell is going back to Arizona.
They will they'll they'll find it right back. Yeah. They got to get a ring on the right part of
town. I know it'll be a yes. I think we all feel that way. We went to that college rink and you're
just like it's so sad that it got to because if you just plunked one in Scottsdale it'd be a winner.
Yeah. Agreed. Yeah. I guess the Leafs just because you're there that's a season that feels like
that one can't end soon enough for everybody there. What's your take? I saw somebody was like
expect a new captain, new GM and new coach. That's quite an offseason. We've been changed.
Does one of the three happen before next season? Well I appreciate the speculation and I think
that it's fair. I mean so if you're the owners may believe sports and entertainment and you more
or less have made the decision that Bradshaw living needs to be fired. You know then do it.
He's signing college kids. He's doing what general managers do every single day. That doesn't seem
to me like a man who's walking on broken ice. Now there has to be an end of season review and maybe
MLS he says all right Keith Polly didn't work out sorry we are going to bring in a president of hockey
operations and then we'll leave it up to the president to decide if he wants a manager change
and if he wants a coaching change. You know so all of that has to come under fire and come under
an audit which will happen at the end of the year. The only way Austin Matthews isn't back is if
Austin Matthews says I don't believe in in the direction we're going here but guys I'm not in
that cap that thinks Toronto needs to take it to the studs. I don't I think Trilib has got to
find a way and he's got some assets. I thought he did pretty well to be fair at the trade deadline
in acquiring some of the pieces. Now you can re-invest in the market maybe attach a player here or
there to it and get some like change the look of the team. Maybe get lucky at the draft or the lottery.
100% and now off you go again. So if Austin Matthews decides okay I don't know this doesn't
sound right to me I'm going to pull you the Quinn Hughes card I'm going to I'm two years out
and I'm not extending here so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. If you think you can get
more for me now and we have to agree on where I would end up then let's have that conversation
with that team and let's make that decision this off season. For me that's that's the only way
Matthews futures called in the question at this point. It feels like what they have to wrap their
heads around Toronto is is this an off year or do we need to rebuild and if you feel like it's
an off year you probably are like well Trilib he's going to stay or coach is going to stay whatever it
is Austin's here it was just a bad year but if it's the opposite you now have to ask yourself
do we have the right person to start from square one and build a contender right well I don't know
what game it was like number of game was it 64 65 of the regular season when Radco Goudus took out
the knee of Austin Matthews but to that point it was an off year right and that incident and
their lack of response has injected some courage into the group because they have played
entirely different from the third period of that hockey game to the point of this conversation
so if you can continue on with that and you can pull together the group of players that are
leading you in how the team is playing now all right I think you can find a way to get through it
I'm not convinced that that's that's possible I look at Morgan Riley as an example
I think he's screaming for a change of scenery yeah based on his play the key takes
heat in the market but it's mostly media heat and it's based on his game it's not playing well
he didn't play well enough last year or this year this year what is his market value look like
and it may not be much yeah that might be a tough contract to move but it's deals like that
where they've got to get they've got to change the look of the team and bring in players if Greg
Barubi is still the coach that are going to play the game that he wants them to play
a couple things before we let you go uh everyone loves this is March Madness and now we've got
our own March Madness starting a year ago we did our candy bracket we uh who did win the
who won our candles were up there but I don't think it was Coke was Coke we're at the radio station
they love patch kids I think I can't even uh gosh it's all kind of good so we're doing the
chocolate championship this time around we've got uh it's going to be the top 16 we've got to play
in round it'll start early next week it's a little small there but we can maybe kind of make out
what we got there we got some Reese is the one see it's a heavyweight there are defending champ
they're the defending champ the eight line score versus Twix uh my wife she's like I think
wonder bars got I just don't think they're getting by Kit Kat I don't know um the M&M's might have
a advantage we just kind of lumped them in as a group maybe it's peanut maybe it's chocolate
there's in different variations but the Mars bar is it's a classic what do I guess just thoughts
on the championship which starts next week yeah um well I'm a child and I've always been a child
um and you can think of the pranks that I played with the old Henry bar back in the day
yeah we suck at each other yeah yeah so that's a no go um my top three my top three would be
Snickers Kit Kat and the Caramelt bar there you go wow and we still don't know the Caramelt secret
now all those years later yeah how do they get it in there walking key Dean it's in a safe somewhere
there we go and we'll let you go with uh with the old dog I found the I found the tweet and you say
it's not it's not kind of makes me sad now uh don't be shot to see Darren Drager on the next power
rankings treadmill incline at 15 speed at six mile per hour great job Darren oh boy oh
I don't even know if credinels go to the incline at 15 do you think you're cranking it that's

yeah the old Henry bar yeah if you're not paying close enough attention it's gonna make you look
reasonable fact similarly it is a reasonable fact we are doing the chocolate I'm not a sweet
guy at all so when I walk into a convenience store it's chips yeah I don't go down the sweet
style are you going in getting chocolate or candy or depending on a day Jack it's kind of switched
for me recently I was always a chocolate guy but then I pivoted to the candies for a bit so I don't
remember last time I bought a chocolate bar interesting in my old age I am finding myself because I'm
I'm I'm like you I'm a salty I want chips I want that sort of thing I just remember
you'd be having dinner with you know you're in laws or dramas and correct it's like well what's dinner's
done well what's for dessert and we would we would just never there would be no dessert or whatever
but it was like well you're having dinner so what's dessert is it pie is it cake what's the you
know like the older generation you always had dessert it's like I don't know if I really but I
find now as soon as I'm kind of does I could really use a sweet really could maybe it's an old person
thing um are we going to sample are we going to feel the fiber here well I don't know you tell me
this is your baby I'd like to oh okay I'll grab a brown bill and go buy some chocolate you can get
those bags with the individual Halloween size yeah yeah yeah it's well it's Halloween
season for sure um I go back and forth I'll be honest sometimes might be both
might be some some candies I'm going to limit yourself let's get a little shot depends on how long the
drive is right you do yeah right my going to the Duke that jerky so good takes a while to get
the other you need some on the way good need some good definitely gonna need a sweet on the way
home yeah what's your go to candy right now Jack the sour jolly ranchers jolly ranchers like gummies
but I do like the hard jolly ranchers they're hard to find though I found uh
topical they had a bag of the all reds so the cherry and the watermelons just those
that's how do you steer clear though at least look out man god damn it
the uh the dry the uh chocolate championship we'll start up next week
can we we'll get it going we got the playing round
I'm interested to see the big turk because there is falls there's going to be so it's a weird one
or hatred I have half feels like half the people are like how did this even what are you talking about
and the other half or how was this not in the top 16 it's a vocal minor hard job for the big
jerk yeah or maybe for the rollo maybe the rollo either way I've just yeah yeah it's a banger to
start I'll tell you that and then on the other side the two wild cards one of big turk and rollo will
move on and only one of dairy milk the classic and the lovable smarties the vet against the kids
it is yeah it's a generational thing really is we'll really know what our demographics here
on this podcast you will know a lot more about everybody I've never had a rollo or big turk what
give me some jack get off your ass and get out there
the rollo comes in a roll and inside it's like they're kind of stacked together they're little bite
sized chocolate covered it's like a caramel a caramel but it's it's hard like think think
caramel but the inside is harder yeah but not as true not as hard as maybe you you might think
a caramel to be right I'll tell you what I like in rollo ice cream oh yeah the rollo ice cream
is so good the phenomenal yeah that's a winner so you're an ice cream guy but not a sweet guy
I'm not a sweet guy at all or ice cream or but I mean I'm also not a fool well said
kept trails haven't got him yet he's still not a fool I'm no fool I know what the rollo ice cream is
about yeah I don't need to be a sweet guy to know that that's legit hey that's the bag
shit dealing with some flunky over here no
ready to talk about is that conversation with drags because that conversation in the league
is a big conversation the CHL yes it's like that's a big that's a big deal for people listening
is that just here like you know it's not baseball for sure yeah it's it's if you're a casual
that is what are we talking yeah people are like it's so as big David goes for a trade is what's
going on we call a rato it's but it is crucial because it's like look it's but it's the top league
in the world where the kids come from we got to make sure that system oh okay now you're doubling
up on it see no but I don't think people care I agree with you yeah like tell me give me a trade
rumor what was awesome after he's going like that's the sexy stuff that is not a sexy conversation
but it's crucial to the league to your point yeah and you know what I who I feel for is the man in
his new Yankee hat behind the screen because after the show he goes in and grabs clips like the zingers
the hard hitters the click baity stuff the people gonna oh what dragger was on today well I'm
gonna have to go and see that I need more of that yeah that's not it sorry jack that's all right
you're good like cutting someone at that one I guess you're the least stuff hey jack see if
you can find some Georgie Babcock 2500 games from the Sabers game last night that's all they
were spraying water on him he's it's so awesome does he come again yeah yes 2500 games him he's
being the server yeah how many that's forever yeah that's like the stamp for
nothing just ancients like you're here you are a piece of the franchise also a George yeah
yeah and interesting just because it kind of ties in you see look at across the table there Dean
that's your co-host there yeah yeah like he ages hourly right daily like it's yeah there's
Georgia Babcock looks the exact same as he did 1995 I was very surprised at that
so that was when I saw the clip so really that's how carrot juice and a sex swing keeps the young
dude like it's what I hear and oh boy jack can you uh maybe get in pause and got right and

carrot juice hey hmm this is a jack told me that's what they say I was busy night last night in
the old NHL so is it one play the tunes yeah busy one sabers again hey you got it there Jack
you'd throw it in there but if you got her look it out okay big one
1,500 for this guy
cleaning up all the players packing that stuff clean in it
hell of a job George congratulations that wins for your belt
appreciate it yeah can't fall spot up George
so boys to be working for this organization in this logo
that's us that was after a five nothing win in San Jose their third straight win and 11 of 12
those guys work so hard and it was the most thankless job in the world it feels like there
has to be something there right not making millions and they're at 2 a.m. unpacking what gear and
hanging it in a visiting room miles away from the hotel they should be sleeping it is that is
the toughest job in pro sports yeah the exhaustion that we talk about it that you appreciate about
road trips like wow they got in at three o'clock yeah and went straight to bed no now these guys went
to the rink yeah and sharpened skates and hung gear and did laundry and slept for 90 minutes
and went back in and went to cut off at the rink yeah and then made coffee and had everything
ready for the boys in the morning takes a special brief retro it does and he's a special
brief that could do yeah along the lines of that looking you know looking young and he does it
very strapping young lad old Georgie sweetlin there um so too Paul Maurice he is set to coach
in I believe last night was 1998 what a year second all time in terms of games coached he is
143 behind Scotty Bowman for most all time you don't know he's like a kid coach in his 30s you know
like look at this young at the time he was the fifth youngest head coach ever 28 years old 281
days so a little shy of being 29 but is behind the bench as a head coach as a 28 year old in Hartford
Jack how old are you 27 or 27 27 can you imagine coaching an in-shell team in like a year no that's
insane how does it 28 year old going to Jackson man in detention of men yeah I'm compared to Jack I
could tell you right now Paul Maurice can read yeah I don't doubt it yeah he's he's a bookworm for
sure is that the youngest any chill coach ever no he was the fifth youngest that the youngest so
I mean it's close right once you're at 28 yeah in that 27 xx number of days kind of thing but
but he was the youngest guy for it's not just oh today for years because then he was 29 and 30
and 31 and 32 and was still by far and away the youngest head coach in the national hockey league
but and looked you know it looks good Lindy Ruff still giving her two yeah Lindy's got some
gray hair in that but we we talked about Conroy and you know how the the years are just piling up
agent like a president we're right or just
Paul Maurice I mean he doesn't uh doesn't look like it's affecting him the same way as it maybe
does others Gary green at 26 with the capitals green that was an in-season replacement wasn't
their guy in Chicago the other a couple years ago that was from Calgary yes but he was not
he wouldn't have in 20s but he played on the same world junior team that super team during the
lockout no 405 that like Seahbrook and Jeff Glass were on he was like literally coaching his
buddies it's that's crazy when you're there yeah
Paul Maurice in town tonight here tonight didn't see him at the ship we got him on
yeah could have got him on yeah could have got him on
could have maybe
coaching in the NHL at 20 at your age Jack yeah I'm trying to comprehend this right now I did
to you can't even clean your kitchen you can't even make a meal you can't read a book how the
hell you're gonna go to team I don't really think you're passing out judgment drunky pants with
kids at home is that true that you can't cook either or no I can cook and clean well if you can
cook where's my damn was on you it's rare I can cook a steak on a pan that's not a meal that's
like the main course though in a pan I'm telling you I'm worried you don't know a fried steak
is no idea if it's fine but then don't put in a pan for all the things empty the oh my god
the things empty yeah the thing is empty Rhett we can't buy over here well there's a few things empty
at Jackson
sure look here like because but I'm a Reese so no I just with with Maurice so he comes in at 28
I'm 27 26 25 24 23 he was an OHL assistant in like 22 21 22 years old a head coach
geez to be a head coach in your mid 20s in the Ontario league okay want a championship with the
Detroit junior Redwings the year before Detroit he he goes to Hartford and becomes an assistant
do you get the two lids of Pierre McGuire along the way or no let me see it was Paul Holmgren
okay was there and then obviously he got would have got bounced like what are guys like
Jeff Sanderson and Brendan Shanahan Shanahan would have been the same age like this is our coach
huh give me out of Hartford what the fuck are you doing here fellas this guy's 26 years old yeah
I am in a rental car in the States and he's coaching our team what are we doing
three years in Hartford they then moved to Carolina one two three four five six seven years
there around 10 years of the year yeah spent missed a year one year coaching the Marlies
right to the Leafs for two years back to Carolina for four wow was in Winnipeg for a ton
three four five six seven eight nine 10 years in Winnipeg 10 years in Winnipeg
20 13 14 wow I wouldn't that's more than I and then left in the 21 22 through his hands I remember
that he's a quitter better not a quitter right I don't think he was getting along with
old Blake Wheeler and company there they had to get some people out of there that didn't want
to be either and he was right he was absolutely right yeah and they got real good once those
guys left left Winnipeg went to Florida lost in the finals won a cup won a cup and this is his
fourth year as the Panthers had that cup was a big thing because it's like to be a young coach
and coach a lot unreal but like it's you need that crown jewel in the in the resume right and that
22 23 that was the year they beat Boston round one yeah right top team in the regular because they
lost in the final eight points or whatever they had down three one in the series version on
gets hurt game 82 and place or injury and then they claw back and game seven down
bobber came in right yeah Alex line started that he got them into the playoffs and then
Bob went nuclear for the next month nine fifty and they went all the way to the cup final
my goodness what a resume I mean it's Jack then you're at 94 95 that's you right now coach
I was dead when he started
are you gonna win in the original championship this year Jack oh I know dead
holy that's it I don't think that the Detroit is in the OHL even anymore isn't no god no
crazy that's how you get to be uh second all time
why did he coach in the K here that's that's usually where you go and you get gas so you see
that little mark in the season above like you would have got gas mid season okay and
they just pay you big dough and then you'll wait for the red opening Winnipeg apparently it was at
for 10 years wow he'd have spent a lot of time at Polo Park down at the Forks maybe Ray and Jerry's
steakhouse retro Salisbury house these all Detroit watching some no Winnipeg you went to winnipeg
for 10 years I don't know any of those places right which I was saying what to winnipeg so then he
would be familiar with it okay yeah all right outdoors you want to take the trip on the road
we're gonna go to winnipeg enough to work no that's a tough so no no no might have committed to that
last night damn it so what happened Thursday's the best day of the week I'm not gonna our Thursday's
but again you're you don't need to tell me I'm just trying to figure uh the one of the
family friend house sitter babysitter the the fellas is a musician and he had a show last night so
I covered the bases and wanted to go see him perform which was really cool I see
starvin artist kind of thing and uh incredibly talented great show so you're so you're so supportive
you're so here we are supporting yep not of your kids you ignore your kids but of the other
people in your life very important to be able to get out I do not put a chair by the bed and watch
them sleep I apologize do you at least put like a nanny cam on when you're when you've left them
at home by themselves just a little hit with one of those tackhammers out for eight hours let's
just put a little whiskey on the gum all right and are you to sleep with you hearing loss clinic
it's about uh you know what imagine we don't know we don't know what you're hearing you're hearing
is you're going to concerts and stuff it's got to be some damage in there imagine if you ever if
you were even more socially active and confident and uh more connected that's horrifying because that's
what that's what it's about the hearing loss clinic it's about getting people back out being social
and being active with friends and family Travis Rhodes great guy Rhodes he he is he's about
given back to the community and he's also about making sure that every clinic is the very best they
have five in Calgary they have five in BC they continue to grow they continue to improve and get
better and change people's lives they've they've talked about this just things like dimension depression
if you're if you're putting it off the brain is a funny thing health risks like that can arise if
you're putting off uh hearing loss or hearing damage no reason to do it hearing loss dot c a the
website's there there's a location near you book yourself in for an assessment today hearing loss
c a how was it show what what's the why don't you give some love to this band or whatever it is uh
Bennett Mitchell's name and it's kind of a ret would really like it's kind of like uh
pour in your heart out country he's got the boots on the hat the John Deere hat
nice old retro cowboy shirt a bunch of guitars it was awesome okay where was he playing yeah I
don't like to critique you for taking in a good musical act because I'm by your right I like
that yeah just the fact that you ignore your kids is streaming to me well then when they sleep but yes
I feel like we could pull up the odd instance where they were wide awake it's not for us to judge
midday that whole zippet thing didn't work didn't you did say zippet yeah yeah we did right
our art that's all that that's true that's all right it's good for the show sorry about bad for my
life but great well dean it's time for the panda report yes for our good friends at village honda

incentives check them out at village honda.com let's start with the game day friends the cats are in
town retro and tarot's feeling the cradle silver spin the uh yeah that tarot's one on the road
did they florida the ludic airport last night red or did they stay in emerton what's the move here
oh no they would have flown out right under that beautiful ludic airport once when i was with the
panthers we flew out of the ludic airport got about 10 minutes in and turned around and went
landed again because uh it was too cold and the flaps wouldn't come down right yeah it was no good
need the flaps maybe they should have just gone to the rum jungle or whatever that place was
oh i love the rum jungle so good jack you've been to the rum jungle great people no oh friendly place
super blonde and yeah it's good stuff set over to the website flames nation what's going on what
are the writers writing about now oh pikes lobbying for us to cheer for vegas it's pipe drunk too
with you last night because there's two things here because you either want them to be awful or great
you do not want the middle ground if they win the cup you get another first rounder that is the
condition on that second rounder they that was already with the first right vegas i'm happy to
cheer for them to win the cup i just don't look at them right now and see any chance they look like
or should yeah it's not been a good regular season for them and they have not been getting saved
some interesting numbers coming up when we go through the other town scoreboard for last night we'll
get to that in a second the the other side is well if they're really really bad you do hold
their first this year and you could have another dart in the old deal that's the way the ping-pong says
the lottery deals yeah i'm with you deep and as you need the oh yeah that would be great hey two
picks in the top 16 whoo Connie Connie but instead because they are not winning at an incredible rate
hurry right now and it's not like they deserve to win and have been uh
foiled by their netminder like Ottawa that drags talked about it's just they look uninspired
they are not the physical intimidating team that i think that wanted their DNA to be
stern unravelled for killing the gun there and Ursula one off
it's a good question i want to call you a clean house and just uproot everyone i don't think he's
well he's not hesitant to do it but the more guys you get on the wrong side of 30 locked into
huge money deals the harder that game becomes um he's also ruthless but i don't know what like
what's your market for a tomash hurdle for example if you had i mean fair enough but he's also a guy
if i was looking at the team we made the decision okay we need to pivot he's the GM or one of
them that i would want to yep oh 100% pull the strings on it's it's been a miserable year and i
think they missed two years ago it's the only year they missed the playoffs in franchise history
this would be two of three fingers crossed fingers crossed i don't think they're going to miss but
yeah i don't say i i don't think they're going to win the copy you know what LA is sneakily just
picking up points here they uh we'll look at the out of town score by the fire the coach
brought him paneron finally out under that from under their goofy coach yeah old Jim heller
just playing 4d in the playoffs in the seven game series against big David how'd that go
oh challenge that hey yeah you definitely want that team on the power play again
okay uh here's the flame stat from bobby germany now we know that the backline always does the heavy
lifting for this team there are only three players on the flames who have outscored their opponents
in five on five there's a lot of guys that suited up with the the the red jersey this year
backland colman pahal have outscored competition competition on a team that is 30 second and
scoring in the NHL and underdogs most nights impressive results for those three it is a bit odd
that uh you know they're stacked on the right with young guys you've got for stevich sir you've got
correct there you've had white cloud weger and anderson all ready's all has it like he's have it's
probably an okay year and yet he's buried here yeah they don't play him a ton for sure i thought he
was a super candidate to move the deadline in denham well i did too but i guess i didn't uh
i didn't really great seven somewhere right like just late pick get him a spot where you're
getting in the playoffs you're gonna run in the injuries you need a guy ret knows oh four you
couldn't have enough to go to another year i i didn't realize like a 1.187 is that it's tiny money
doesn't feel like it's a lot to take on but i guess ditto handlies kind of run into the same thing
on the left side now that you got only mad at ball and the emerges because that's up anyway interesting
stats there that's an impressive feather in the cap of colman backlin pahol to be above sea level on
this team this year uh we'll keep moving one of the prospects uh we have not talked about a lot
this year's henry mues he's a phenomenal right shot d-man that uh well had a season ending injury
in the fall uh he was one of the top prospects in the organization it's kind of forgotten with all the
the depth of the organization and him not playing games and not being up for awards and not
you know where's he gonna play next year uh skating last week all right this is a good player ret i
think he's in any cellar i know that it's a ways away and he's missed an important developmental
year with injury but uh they could they could continue to have kids on the right that look like
any cellars on the blue line yeah third round in the perec grid and draft that draft looks unreal man
vasha the taglia who they've traded yeah and then mues in round three i guess this would fall
into the mues news category mues news let's go to the schedule three wins in march we set it settle
down huska they got the panthers tonight lightning kings ducks canucks that closes the six game
homestand they then go on a six game road trip two trips to denver on the one road trip also
vegas anaheim dallas Seattle it's not an easy one we keep losing fellas but keep working hard that
airline a win is looking no good i think that that was a we we just got a big win in ebinton and uh
who's next i don't want to let these guys i have to stop looking right at what it doesn't mean i
like it no i agree they scored five well they don't lose them and they score guaranteed with
things score three fifty four and a row or something crazy uh let's take a look at the panthers they
are limping in terms of uh the bodies they've been missing no barcov moves everyone up a slot in
the middle that was probably the envy of the league down the middle when you could go barcov
then at lendell uh no they don't have barcov all year they have half a year without math you could
chuck and there's been other significant injuries as well old friend a j greer was a good flying but
he uh what busted a bone in his leg or sprained something they couldn't turn him into an asset of
the deadline he left as a free agent he's been great as a panther uh scored last night i believe yeah
it was 48 games for conchuck that he missed marchand is out now no barcov all year uh
ryanhardt has missed three so and there's cool there's there's they're thin right now but other
ryanhardt coming off a lopsided win it at the time they are returning some bodies as well set
jones has missed a bunch of time but he's finally back on the blue line he's been their best be
defenseman when he's been healthy this year but uh his missed significant time let's take a look at
the deep hairs since i've talked about defenseman jack you're awesome uh forestling actla had meekala
jones is back kula kula kula also missed significant time this year they have been
just absolutely ravaged and you get it three years and are you playing the cup final
you got all these guys going to play olympics meekala for finland for example
they had ten players at the olympics formation exactly yeah like a lot of hockey for the screw um
they're not a young team they don't have much in the prospect covered but i don't know that they're
dead yet because this is just playing more hockey than anyone else in the league the last three
years was going to catch up to you at some point gold tenders bobber set a bit of an off year
terrace of they brought in from columbus russian net minor that was highly tutored uh with cvj and
toolsy we'll see bark how about shwinto gajavik tough as nails he's out marchand their acquisition
of the deadline cup champ uh twice over now and rinehart did a day and this is them healthy
relatively speaking because they just got set jones back and could chuck came back before the
olympics uh we'll keep moving the west standings look like this today fellas take a look at the
bottom the kings are in seados out we're waiting for it no one believes in the cracking
and the kings doing just enough to get in there uh don't go look at these point totals and try to
get them in the playoffs in the east that ain't going to work but i don't mind l a bnn that's a
interesting i'd rather l a with copestar than seattle with no one i know
yeah seattle is just the most melbatos team in the nhl there's no emotions go away and for a while
it was that remember about a month ago we looked at the three six five projections and they had
seattle nowhere it wasn't even in that all the models hated them and they were in a playoff spot
they're on the dribbly at the top three in the beset for a while i still wonder about the sand
they sharks they've had a couple tough ones last night they get blank by buffalo and they also
lost in ebbenton which really would have tightened the gap and given the chance uh they might
just be out of fuel fellas and they are young and sell and celebrate clearly the emotion is
showing you shattering your sticks at the end of losses but uh it just might not be yet for this
up and clear what two points back with the game in hand they can do it
i fully came in to fully got hurt last night it i'll say this if you want to go just straight
vibes entertainment Colorado San Jose would be epic in round one if they can get to wildcard too
sure like might not be a long series but it will not be boring and i mean you tall looks like
you can buy your playoff tickets no question there's enough gap there and they will get the one
seed in the pacific that they probably have decent odds to have a better regular season then you
look at the point total uh they played one more game than anaheim they have the same number of points
you're one's a wildcard they seem theoretically could be winning the division it's crazy uh don't
look past that wildcard one versus specific winner because closer than the standings would uh
oh it's wildcard this will be a walkover now let's go to the east crazy things are happening out
there uh last year we saw the Calvary Flims miss the playoffs of 96 points look at the pace
here fellas they are like what 12 points clear the cutoff in the west whoo Boston Detroit still
clinging to those wildcard CBJ slides into the three hole in the metro the aisles are out
oh i kind of want to see shape from the playoffs boys in that new rank but it uh
could we get rid of Boston and Detroit please that's gonna be a
winning big game yeah it's gonna be a screous and let up hella buck and look at the percentage you
imagine mission the playoffs that 600 points percentage that this never happened in the league before
which brings us uh let's get to this point the pacific cutoff uh yeah the top team in the pacific
would be uh 11th in the east i don't know what this accomplishes i it just shows that i understand it
yeah unbalanced but they don't no teams will play each other until the cup final no it's just like if
you're like the New York Islanders might get they're on pace for 99 points and missing
96 is the record the flames tied at last year by losing a tie break to like it is that is just
bad luck when you can have a 99 point season and miss somehow now look they're
might get their shit together and someone also fall off but we are going to see a very very good team
miss in the east because of how good it's been and in the west it's like yeah you barely over 500
while you get home ice in the pacific it's wild yeah and again it doesn't mean anything it's just an
odd thing to note uh bottom bottom ten let's look at the flames Chicago doing some more class
and i didn't know hey go on oh my look at the Chicago get out of there beat the wild well done
three points out of four against uh the wild because they went to beyond regulation at first
to the back to back and three points separating the rangers and the flames bit of a cushion there
I like it but the two flames do have a game in hand so settle down tonight huska that's right that's
right uh finals from last night dean tell us about the hockey we watched there was so much of it
while we talk about the Bruins uh two oh and two in their last four passes on a 12 game point
streak the jets they know with the the lost four six they're they're on the program the senators
got a game when you're out of uh ready to chuck with 13 seconds left um regulations the aisles
that far from a point that close I should say auto a three of four and 12 three and two in their
last 17 it was uh the rhyme dog in that for the uh the sands there he's been actually fine
because he hardly played he was a spengler cup and was not like on a team in the fall like
drager it said sands were very good last night shots eleven one auto i in the third period
Matthew Schaeffer scores he's got 21 goals and hits the 50 point mark he is two goals away
from tying the demand goal scoring record that was Brian leach it was 23 yeah and he didn't do it
as an 18 year old fire call yeah uh red wings they beat the habs so if you're wanting this boss
then Detroit thing to go away it's not how it's going uh wings of one back to back habs of
loss three of four Columbus it's an 11 game point streak seven or four fan tilly lace two goals
were ansky three helpers grieves 22 saves an L third in the metro tied with the islanders with
83 points but a game in hand you mentioned the hawks they win uh caprice off a scratch day-to-day
lower body injury wild of lost 405 and they get the hottest team in the NHL potentially in Dallas
around one they got to get it going when he's been quietly uh good job preads they beat the
Kraken Kraken have lost back to back it's except eight we don't we don't like them uh panthers
we talked about four nothing over the oilers kujo win bobber win 454 tying him with kujo for
seventh all time in terms of goal he wins uh Tampa getting right kuch and cerelli one goal and
two helpers kutcher of eight points it is last two games he second and league scoring three ahead
of nade one back of mcnew one back yeah hope and yet you get that said the other day last 45
games hottest run since mario yeah it's we've not seen anything like this in a long time the four
back of buffalo and four had a Montreal somewhere in hand on buffalo too Jake Gensel your buddy Jackie boy
hit 30 goals last night he had 41 last year probably don't talk enough about I guess a lot of goals
in your first two seasons as a free agent signing when you look back at them deciding between
keeping stamco scene and gensel they look smart and stamco is having a great year but yes
gensel yes headman did miss the second and third he was injured before the Olympics went to
the Olympics then wasn't playing and then so there's something up there uh Utah for nothing they
beat vegas killer with two in the first period vimelka 28 saves uh aiden hill out three goals on
three shots that's uh so perfect yikes flanks have that first vegas has been black uh blanked
in back-to-back games at home oh man they lost to uh the vibes are off there big time not great what
is up a stone is he coming back he returned but at this time of year we see ice melt on the streets
and stone go to IR on and off sabers three in a row 11 of 12 back-to-back shut out wins they beat
vegas to nothing the other night she's lie in 23 saves he's one 10 straight road starts goodness
so that's impressive and uh you get ahead we need to make our itinerary for buffalo we need a full
wing rest of your car you're on it you're good full confidence there uh 401 in their last five
are the flyers there six back of Detroit kings are four three and two since they fired their head
coach i can't have points but not as we saw they uh get some leapfrogging of the crack in
in the division uh here's one for you we know Colorado was uh lights out the first half of the year
just okay coming out of the Olympics still trying to figure out where Nas fits all that stuff
they're not at uh fifth gear yet but um yeah they can clinch today yeah they're very good
oh yeah if you just get a point tonight and i think they got the hawks we'll we'll check the schedule
in a sec i spitball i think it's a hawk's but a point we'll get them in it's been an incredible year
despite what's been just an ordinary run for them the last month or so yeah like their last 10
is six three and one and that feels and that feels yeah that's true and months before they had three
regulation losses uh look at the game style you hit the tunes dean off plays all right all right
palm or east bowl at the top but let's find a place it definitely is the palm or east bowl
run frances all very good jeffo kneel patrick marlowe that cost them Seth
Jarvis the pick that they went with marlowe to dump the cap didn't play for it yeah correct
yeah that's a good point uh devils capitals this is a Patrick division yeah it went back in the day
you tell you oh jeez oh jeez oh jeez oh
jack i'm too hung over to do this tell us a devil and a capital
yager yeah what was he camp what yager he was definitely a devil
he was he was absolutely a capitals thank you you're right he went there he was dogguest and then
went to ranger some better yeah okay good uh abs and black ox i was right loud rights i'll take one uh
i don't know what it's played for boys
jim commons yes
prosco for the flames i believe still really uh panteros and flames this one hurts we don't
need to say the name we'll move on and pretend we didn't see it uh ducks and mammoths
you made jason weemer that's not what i was taking up but that is correct
it was obviously coal shwind let's keep
dot docks mammoths
let's we have to think all right yeah oh boy shouldn't be this hard no we're very tired
it's such a hard day jack what's happened what that was being i dropped my cup oh i
thought i was wondering what the hell happened with jack i hope it got damn
pants in it feel bad this should be uh come on now coyotes and jeez docks fellas
yes i am not like i've not eaten anything remotely no idea what's your deal today why don't
you know bag of dicks this is very count on you jack the one spot we fall soft here
all right we got it it's com drone so they pull up the chat
just throw just say name there's too many straw like i don't know if that was the
cross over docks what about jimma kinsy
didn't the king yeah david karpah
yeah
yelia bersh galov thank you chat he's a great man that's uh that's gonna work bersh galov
bersh galov oh why you have to be why are you so mad oh i have to be mad it's just a hockey
that was an unspiring as five games who started a little worse with smaller
items i think so yeah yeah you need to get the flow going we know that's gonna feel good some of us
are hungover and ill so yeah all right you shouldn't get drunk when you're sick
lessons uh let's go to the major leagues of baseball where we are just what a week away from
opening day that's exciting jack uh your pirates could be very very good this year they've
been the elite staff a bunch of young players that got skeens uh excitement level around
the pirates i am pretty excited about the team i think we need to take you out before gear
confused about this hoist the cone thing looks okay so they have a new slogan hoist is a weird word
i think it has something to do with lifting looks great hoist of flag yes a cone not david
cone not cone heads ice cream i have a tough lot of time with this one hoist the cone hoist
well seen by the hoist on kajijis i thought those are ramps oh i would love a hoist
oh god that'd be great i can't fit it can't do it not a firm new garage you need a shop
if anyone has a shop they'd like to donate to hoist it's a cone this guy's got this guy's gonna
sir abris this fella nattix and Nike just put out a new shirt for the Pittsburgh pirates that says
hoist the cone i'm gonna pirate spend my entire life i don't know hoist the cone
means uh our friends at Pittsburgh clothing company are the ones that caught this um they suggest
maybe this is a callback to 2019 when they served bold pork and barbecue sauce and barogies
in a waffle cone i mean pirates hoist colors right the pirates hoist the colors maybe there's a
copyright issue in there you know pirates of the Caribbean can't really say that whatever i don't
know but i also don't know what hoist the cone means there's nothing in like Pittsburgh culture
or lore that involves a cone oh and on top of not knowing what this means it's gonna cost you
45 bucks so jack i'm excited for the pirates they're gonna be young and exciting but no one has
a clue what the hell they're slogan is that's a million dollars to jack i'd get you one but that's
merit that's a lot of no that's like 60 bucks i'm gonna find you some vintage gear because i'm not
really feeling the hoist the cone vibe the hell does that mean Dean i think i think it's it's doing
what they want we're talking about it yeah geniuses if it was like you know yard mateys so
they'd be like oh it's the pirates get it you know what you'll be this has to thank because even the
even the pirate fans are like what are we doing here it's it's drawing attention by the way
what did they put in the cone that year brought these neat oh my god that sound good that did kind
of sound oh let's get parogies waffle cone with savory in there red this is right to a little bit of
sweet lots of savory oh my god it's like a chicken waffles deal yeah that did very much right hoist

summer can't wait and also we talked about it one of the things that might get his mojo back
he has to visit the sins of yesterday here this is the nine nine nine the mets have unrolled
i like that it you see everything there i hate the idea of drinking a warm beer two hours after it
was poured it's a good point Ryan so are they doing this every game you could just do it when that is
just go by one who you don't have to go to new york for this jack we'll just we'll head to
Greta or something i kind of want to go there for that i think the mets the sneaky good stadium two city
field been there don't remember a lot about it hmm sounds not too hard i'll take it back
that looks like some VIP area too you got the windows jack i'm in yeah why you only put mustard on five
of those dogs some brink crown bald dog going on that weird bald dogs don't like a bald dog
and finally we'll close the pinder report with a little steralia culture now that some of these
kids live in the outback they have people snakes and spiders all kinds animals try to kill them
but we'll tough her a little younger let's check in what are you doing where
because why you what how did you do that
and what did you learn so now your algorithm is just kids it's just it hits the Venn diagram
well this was in fairness this was what your kids were doing last night walking around in dirt barefoot
swearing at each other where's dad hey mate where's dad that's a fender part this Friday
March 20th big buy-in is on two million bucks they're spending on cars they want yours Dean
any make any model any year maybe you've got an extra vehicle maybe you've got an expiring lease

there you have it there you have it so what are your plans for the weekend they're a sicky sickerson
he's got to go to tell me oh there's there's a game in Edmonton tonight I should be going to I
don't think I will I'm supposed to go to Saskatoon for the Kelly chase bar quatton jersey retirement
ceremony which I'm not going to attend and then uh so I'm gonna I'm gonna hunker in and uh yeah
on the couch in my dog find a series to watch and yeah yeah it's about it you and jack should watch
a series like at the same time and you can talk about it because we've tried to get into readies
not I won't but he's very good at watching I feel like we're done with any clubs to do with jack
jack's movie like because the book club has been a disaster do you want to start the
sopranos again right you could watch the TV club the I just I don't have faith that it's going
to go much better jack's TV binge I feel fear right was this the double goose when you look back
was this the double it's got to be apparently it's out there lots of people uh oh lately did the
double goose or just people not feeling well I don't think it had anything to do with the double
goose yeah yeah the double goose was the goose was cooked it wasn't I don't know why the goose
wasn't expired was one goose more overdone than the other or why it was more Saturday I mean
I was the lights broke by 11 30 like we're we're talking about yeah I feel for you buddy that's uh
I know how much you wanted to go to Edmonton this weekend I love Edmonton that jerky so good yeah
anytime you can go to that Albanian amusement park they've gotten them all there you go
oh they've got a bus going on time travels like 197 isn't there didn't even have to drive
I could have just ridden the bus just hop on a thing yeah oh that's a shame
being the shoveler sitting in the back yeah
don't finish that thought leave the kids home alone right pender let's find
this one is sleeping right that's worse and potentially
zip it got about the zip it yeah truck month is on now at GMC if you want something reliable tough

cab yeah yeah two-inch lift kit I will we're gonna give you a lot of money can you read some
for 30 seconds I need I need to start smoking oh because I think that's that's how you do it yeah
I have it's my voice let gravity good hill good sick you gotta get get smoking and get healthy

didn't get those pipes you gotta get the pipes you gotta get your vocals getting well covered with
flammond that's right here and sputs because that's how it's that's the quiche flammond sputs that's
the key to those pipes so that's my plans for the weekend they're gonna smoke it grab grab some
decks of darts and yes Jack's got some menthols right around there he does yeah there's still here
nice he might have hit them on his dad to see if it's drying out yeah yeah drying out for daddy
wouldn't have been impressed menthols jack I'm so disappointed I know couldn't get the reds
menthols hey that's a bitch stick this is a skinny one
time for the uh bets of the day for bet three six five hockey fans tired of waiting for the end of
the game to get paid ready to move on to the next puck drop yep that's why bet three six five
an official partner the NHL has three goal early payout if the team your riding goes up three
goals at any point in the game they'll pay your bet out early hockey moves fast now with three goal
early payout there's one less thing you have to wait around for it's bet three six five download the
app and see what early payouts all about must be nineteen or older please play responsibly uh fell
us it's unavoidable math that checks back in town and we know how he rolls you loved it here you
showed it out flames you also did get the hell out of here when you wanted to and uh he has a way
of being math that you could check that no one else really can do I'm hitting the anytime goal
of plus 180 we'll see if it happens tonight and I've liked the cut of young mat they gridden's
chib of late the line was buzzing against Detroit didn't play a ton in the opener of the homestan
but did get that shootout winner feels like the mow is flowing it's got the the good karma going
right now we're gonna have two shots in a point partly those plus two 75 two shots come on
does my best don't feel like it's easy yeah good bets we all we hit last night as well because we
have the Columbus and Buffalo both puck lines minus one and a half no sweat outscored the opponents I
think eight two will take it on next little week hockey moves fast it's the three goal early payout
one less thing to worry about bet three six five download the app and see what early payouts all
about must be nineteen or older please play responsibly panteros town and you're not going to see
the panteros your teams in town god you're missing the panteros it's no
miss and they want me there i don't want to be a rude and an ageist are trying to make you look old
but is there a person in the organization that was there when you were played that's still there
because they've gone through a bunch of owners and a lot it's not been a it's been steady for what
five to six years but prior to that tumultuous highly doubtful i wouldn't yes because like well
Buffalo comes in you still got some guys that are in the world 30 years ago yeah we're Buffalo too
though right it's a long time ago there's been lots of changes i would i know i'm like
Georgie's obviously in in Buffalo but i and Lindy did you play with barcoff of cheddar remember
yeah yeah he's out yeah he was probably not born he was dead yeah you didn't play with
Mackie Samuskevich no Mackie no his dad yeah and his dad i think Mackie was probably like
even if he'd been dead then too probably yeah you ever think about that like jack was dead when you
were playing well i'm soon to be dead by the looks of it so i mean oh you'll be better tomorrow huh
let's do this no one got any uh fancy stuff i should take i'm open to
suggest to say you got everything any already yeah you're the you're the man for the fancy stuff
i'm not sure who i don't like all the drugs or find each other right now i don't know we're going on you
i've all the guys that i reach out to that are kooks like me yeah all sick too
so it's really working well that's probably the chemtrails i think yeah
you said it's a category kooks like me it's good album title yeah r7 raid r714
oh dear five dollars the oil is getting after their own barn is amazing to see yeah hey
before nothing yet i'm okay with it and i it's just a little extra salt with it being the panteros
in a season where they've been miserable just looking like themselves for one night beautiful stuff
i didn't pay attention to it but i had it on and it did look very lobsided
one team was better again than the other team well conno doesn't want to get points they're not
going to windy and you told us to say it's almost time to oh ten and two to fire out that uh
does mcdiv it even care about winning narrative it doesn't seem like it does
i don't know if you did he'd get a point last night feel like you'd have some wins but uh
flames enjoy five bucks fouls i mean ults for a tournament it's going to my first game tonight
hope to god peric isn't scratched say hi to jay roe sale what do you when you're in
old yeah and his brother flame great
in olds for a tournament go grizzlies
what kind of turns is like what kind of turn are we talking about
maybe turn like kids a kid tournament deal year end tournament you see lots of
provincials going on Dean I uh yeah but he headed cold lake oh
gross uh cold lake how do you know you've ever been to cold lake no i've never
made it sounds chilly i don't not appeal like yeah you're a cold punch guy you might like it
shout out tamer albert a pick for craft talk you feel no way rjd2 nice rjd2
they won music well i'm going off of what rjd2 was going out here yeah he spent almost three
bucks it's got to be true it could be loud wrong but uh i'll fact check it at some point over the
weekend no you want that's okay though that's big deal for tamer i hope so where is tamer
rine fujita oh fudge fudge you know are tapers or you've been a smart ass
i kind of don't know where tamer is let's close to mid-hat and uh she pull up a map
Brooks let's bridge Brooks it's kind of not is it north a little bit north let's bridge north
east or west yeah text fudge where are you from dude
taber good corn there jack check it out which is different than hana
yeah different town i was supposed to be going through hana this year or this weekend
oh there yeah all right so there's tamer did that say the taber airport airport oh yeah
dickies barbie cubes yet yes please that's like the number one spot that went to gay free
shout-outs okay we got a church that's great very cool thank god yeah it's you know the doomsday
ideas they can help you there oh look at that he's to the windy city la baby it's where jack
flunked out and i gained all my wisdom let's bridge over to there's basano mic toth sweet home
basano mic toth yes such as voxhall picture but it's a lovely part of the world down there
Vulcan's got the old starcheck thing going over there too yeah that's nice jack
well good job like look at that jack taber lake i don't know if you want to swim in that
logus it looks nice on a map looks beautiful there yeah don't see go for a ditty cabins on it i'm
wondering what's happening here it's hard to say slew private private area private a taber lake
don't want you going out there no god no uh with your boom box make it a bunch of noise jack
with a shirt off yeah Jared ten box palace will you be attending the Darryl Sutter farm
equipment sale and late june and Viking tractors balers livestock equipment no joke
tinfoil had time what what does that mean um are you
coming and making a return to hockey he needs to sell all of his uh farm equipment uh
i think he's probably got nice shiny new stuff he's getting rid of the old stuff
that'd be a banger of an event up to bike in there i blame brit
yeah if he wasn't so worried about being a coach it can be passed on the farm on down
right yeah it's your own fault kid short-sighted is he wondering what a tinfoil hat is referenced
to like he's trying to ask what that alludes to i think he's saying conspiracy theory what does
this mean i see where you're saying okay yeah yeah i think it just means he's got a new gear
i think he's probably retiring maybe i think you can rent out the land and sure you know but you
can sell off your gear and uh you know uh Darryl you got fired before that last contract kicked in
i'm not sure it's not hard up for cash i'm guessing well i just wonder is that contract over
just we love your big D had a point that he does and you know what big D don't go ahead yuck it up
i'm the one who's getting paid to wash up my tractors and get them ready for the big sale
to smell the brook coffee and look out over the hills not bad
is that it yeah yeah there you go super chat for the use centers of calgary
you people want to do the thing you were gonna do the math for us so i'll walk us through the
tecithon math no huh no you said you said yesterday it's important to set the precedent of me
disappointing you and not falling through oh okay we got another super chat so i figured it out
right whoa hey guys to give you one of the yeah just imagine what amazing team the flames could be
as a premier destination only about two more weeks to sign the Alberta petition for
human that's interested i'm not sure that ties into the hockey team but okay i'm not even sure
what he's talking about is there something
wins have changed in their wins of change or has hangar so you it's you you didn't do the math
you don't need to it's the tecithon what it does is every day there's hockey games played and
those results impact the overall any tall standings and those overall standings of course
well that's what you factor in when you're doing the draft lottery if you're gary betman
so he's like cracking they lose oh really that's interesting Nashville they went oh really
Chicago oh okay now the flames were idle but they do sit there in the 31st spot in the national
hockey league which means they are second on this list at a good day yesterday the probability of
picking first overall 13.6 percent the flames won this son of a gun yesterday
no we're so good yesterday did you figure out the numbers Ryan
uh you have a 13 let's go jack let's take a look and see
i win a peg wins the draft lottery saying Lewis gets a uh major bump
as vancouver falls to three from the one spot and the flames dropped to four
which has been the most likely outcome yep and yes which you can't going back to yesterday that
my only point was just it would talk to people and maybe it's the people that i talked to
was that so if you don't win the lottery does that mean we're falling to four and it seems like
you're falling to four the thing that is hard to wrap your head around is you're like oh the
team at the bottom has the best odds of winning the lottery but they're still like 75 percent
most likely it's not with the lottery that's the part that's hard to whether the best odds
but the rest of the field is three times more likely than them to win which is very
anything that's it feels like it's a bit of a bummer we'll see how the lottery balls bounce
how much should they put in that envelope for gary when he's in town gary's got her back
i think so you like that new profit center the building there yeah well we saw it with the world
couple hockey got those big right pre-tournament games to look forward to they're gonna be dynamite
yep loves it Calgary can't wait for Kazakhstan and Belarus
no kidding man sign me our unicorn media passes for that i'd start queueing up right now
yep i would two five five five satellite on way rise place no i would two
well folks have have a fantastic oh good another one like that
oh there's suck there is six and nine and just right on the wire right on the wire
guess that's it hey is there anything else uh no i think it's time right
championship starts next week yep flames cruising through the homestand
hopefully uh some sobriety and good health no one of the two finds its way to the show
and uh i'm going to do everything i can dean thanks buddy get well we missed some sunshine state
boys Florida Tampa during the weekend there you go all right how was the show today jack
don't give me that it was excellent i'm with jack damn i'll book jack see you buddies
