on the UFL game podcast.
Yeah. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. That's not Colby. Damn it. That's a quick impression. You
are here live. We got a brand new season of the UFL gambling podcast. If you're wondering
who to hell you're listening to. Oh, the SGP and I am CD solve and also those the back
detective along with Jay Mark, Jay money. Colby Dan will be joining us this season. But
you know, we're getting closer towards kickoff here. We had to get this show rolling and
you know, he's elbows deep in college hoops. You know, him he breaks down all 300 games
a year. Once the brackets come out, he gets a little busy and he, you know, he's got
to handle the canvas slides, but luckily Jay Mark stepped up. Jay Mark, how we feeling
and how we feel for the first show the UFI know you've been excited. You've been pushing
this thing on the slack of year round to a lot of radio silence. A lot of Colby that
bullshit league, you know, but we know he's a contact risk. He'll come around. He promised
to join us a little bit. But for now, I'm excited actually for this brand new season.
How you feel? Yeah. No, I'm excited as well. The teams are all shook up.
Right. You have a couple pieces that are still there where they originally were. But
for the most part, there's a lot of new happening. All these polls, stadium wanted to mix it
all up. You know, just for example, I know we'll get to this, but like Tony Meatball no
longer. The Battlehawks coach, not sure if Colin Kearter was volunteered to get down
to Orlando, but yeah, it's going to be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
Colin told, yeah, you brought up co owner Mike Repold there. He's he's put his thumb print
all over this. I like some of the changes he's done. We honest with you. I mean, he's short,
he's shrunk the stadiums a little bit. Try you want to bring a little more atmosphere
into the live games, you know, kind of like, I know Houston's like in downtown Houston,
which is kind of awesome. But he definitely, he changed some rules. So before we get it,
we're going to break down today. We're going to break down all eight teams. There's eight
teams, three new expansion teams. Some just changed city names. So we're going to break down
all eight teams about what's new with them also what's new with the league. And we'll put
some futures out there at the end there because there's always, always early on my bookie.com
good with the UFL numbers. I had to see if I still had an account there. I did and found
some good numbers. But the UFL is starting off brand new. They announced some rule changes.
Some good, some bad, you know, like you said earlier, good thing. Colby's not here for this
episode. Right. One thing he doesn't like is change of anything, let alone rules change
is or honky, he honky, flutty, two, whatever he would call these UFL rule changes. Let's break
down. First of all, the three new, we'll support the three new teams. We should get into the ones
that are always there. Of course, the Birmingham stallion St. Louis battle hawks, my champion DC
defenders Houston Houston's same team rough next they switch over to the gamblers their original name
right back in the USFL days back in eight or two. But the new expansion teams are the Louisville
kings or land. What do they call the storm? Yeah, the storm. And my favorite, of course,
the Columbus aviators. So that'd be fun. We'll get into the teams, but let's get into the rule
teams. The first rule change was just a shot across the bow to the NFL, which made, which was
completely unnecessary, but just a PR move. They banned a push. Now, the failure infamous play made
famous by the Philadelphia Eagles, which they don't even run well anymore now the bills run it
who voted against it in the NFL. But so no touch push. It's not an aesthetically pleasing play.
I don't remember ever seeing it once ran during the UFL. Why was there a need to ban the
push push? If anything, they should start doing the goddamn push. Right. Yeah. No, one
thing I've picked up about Mike Reeple, he he likes to, I don't want to say get clicks, but he
likes to be a little controversial, right? And I think he knew, hey, this has been a controversial
point in the NFL. We're just going to go out here and ban it and see what people do. And I'm not
saying that is a bad thing against him. I think in this league, you have to be a little controversial
to kind of start standing out and building your own brand. But yeah, that was interesting to me.
My stance has always been it's a football play. If you don't like it, stop it. So I don't know,
I'm not affected by them banning it, but I don't know if that was necessary. It was just funny
the announcement of it. And I agree with you. This is like, this is what it's advertising 101,
really, especially if you're their underdog, like, um, case in point, like, was in the news this
let, like last week, the McDonald's CEO, tried the new burger and he was like this nerd guy who
like vomited and he couldn't even get mugs. He's never eaten it before. So then every other franchise
are like, well, look what I do. I'm Wendy's. I eat this piece of shit. Slop burger, you know,
it's like to prove like if you don't like that, come and like this. Like if you don't like that,
the NFL wants to ban a touch, you know, has a touch bush. We'll do it. We'll ban it. So, yeah,
that was just a fun one. I just wanted to throw that out there. So I like how my, I like how
repulsed doing just shots fired, if you will. He put in there, um, was 60 yard fuel goals are now
four points. What do we think about this? Yeah. I mean, it goes to that belief that more points
equals better football. I don't agree with that. Um, it's, it's, this one I'm not crazy about.
Out of all the changes, this is the one I'm like, really? Or is this like, uh, going to turn into
NBA jam where there's going to be hot zones that are worth, right? Throw from them. Um, but I mean,
I guess if a kicker makes a 60 plus yarder credit to them, now they get more points. It's almost
reminiscent of fantasy football, right? Where you get more points based on how long 100 percent
is 100 percent of fantasy footballs that and that's why I don't like it. Because in listen,
when you come to the UFL, the points are, you know, it gets skewed a little bit, especially when
you get the three point conversions, you know, two point conversions, so like that. So the scores
are a little bit different, but I don't like rewarding teams for being further away,
to be honest with you on the meat. And then if you're, if you're on the, uh,
cusp of a 55 yard field, or you're going to why not take a loss, you know, a third down to get
yourself to a four point run. I mean, it's kind of a weird strategy wise, but not the worst thing
in the world. Um, obviously 60 yard field goals and it seems like it's commonplace, but it's not,
especially in the UFL. If anything, if their legacy is anything, they have produced a lot of
kickers over to the NFL, including, including Brandon Aubrey, the greatest, uh, 60 yard field goal in the
game. Yeah. Um, but one thing they did do, which is, which is definitely race, um, uh, got some
conversation going was deep. Inability to punt once you cross the 50 yard line, this is,
this thing is, uh, I believe it's just more of a push to some of our, some of our favorite coaches
of last year, like, hey, asshole, stop hunting the ball, but he gets into 50 and sell, we're going
to, so much we're going to make it a rule. We're sick of watching it. So the rule is once you cross
the 50 yard line, you have to cross it. You're no longer allowed to punt, unless it's after the
two-minute warning between the half and the end of the game. Um, even if you lose yards,
that's where it gets kind of wild. Yeah. So you can get, you can be on the 45 or 49 or whatever,
take a 15 yard sack or even a holding penalty. You're on your own 35 and you're going to have to go
for it by rule. I don't, I don't know what I feel about this. Yeah, I don't like this one either.
I get that it's supposed to drive more points, right? Yeah. Either you continue moving the ball
down the field or you turn it over and the other teams got good field position. Yes.
But I, I didn't like it's going to be interesting. How many guys are running? They know they're not
getting to the first down. So they slide right at the 49 yard line. So their team can punt. That's
interesting as well. Yeah, I wouldn't mind like a, right, like a little subno with it. Like if it's
fourth and 10 or less or something like that. Yeah. I don't want them, I don't want them having to go
for a fourth and 25. Yeah, for the same thing. Speaking of the point conversions, they've adapted
that a little bit. Now it's kind of more like the NFL. We can kick the extra point as a 33 yarder.
The two pointers, just like the NFL where it's on the two yard line, you was on the five yard line.
Coach is complaining that the five yard line was too tough, too hard. So they moved it to the two
and now the three pointer is from the eight was on the 10 before. Yeah, I imagine that. What do we
think about that kind of like this to be honest with you? Yeah, I do too. They have the extra point
option now. So, but for me, if I'm a coach, you know, you're almost always going for two, right?
Your team is going for two anyways. Now it's even closer. Why wouldn't you take that option? Unless
you're down by one point with just seconds left, let's go ahead and kick it and go into overtime
or something. Yeah, I like how I like how it brings a little more stability into the scoring where
you're like you said, you can take the one extra point if you want it, you know, from 33 and it's
a normal two pointer from the two. And yet there's still the opportunity to go for three if you're
down by a lot from the eight yard line, which is a little more, yes, a little more people than the 10.
I don't even know why they had to move that up. I actually wouldn't mind if I kept that at the 10
because three point is a big difference. But I do like I do like making the one and two back to normal.
Yeah, yeah, for sure. Real quick. Shout out to the chat double B picks. Yes. And UFL starts 27 March,
26 on Fox. There we go. God damn right. I'm going to have to tell her, Hey, I know you wanted to
go out for your birthday, but the UFL start and I'm sorry. Yeah. Jay Mark Wifey's going to have to
deal with it. I'm going to have to understand that this is the real season. I got you know, spring,
spring, spring, spring, spring football guy shirt on speaking of which don't forget to tune into the
old fashion football podcast, but Jay Mark and Jay Mark Wifey and pre happy birthday to Jay
Mark Wifey. In the season to the start, we're recording this as of now live Thursday, March 12th.
You guys are listening to it whenever you're listening to it. If you are in the chat, we thank you.
Hop on over to the YouTube. You can pop in there. But the season does start on the 27th. Is that right?
Friday. Yeah. Yeah. So in almost two weeks from tomorrow. So that'll be great.
T also says bring back the F XFL extra points. That's when you have to battle it out there for it.
Oh, bad. All right. So we have that rule, the kickoff rule. Now this one, we're glad Colby's definitely
not here for because he has entire Twitter accounts, burner accounts like Kevin Durant style set up
just for old kickoff rules and bring back old kickoff. They just tweaked it a little bit.
They're still the landing zone and which the NFL, by the way, ripped off from the UFL.
They're basically like the ABA where the NBA just rips off some of the favorite things like they
like from them. So they're still the landing zone, which is the 20 yards and then. But they move
the kickoff team back five yards from the opponent 40 to the 45 and receiving team up five yards
from the 32 to 35. Now I don't think this is going to create bigger returns or more returns,
but it'll definitely help field position a little bit as well. And the touchback has been
moved up to the 40 yard line. It was previously a 35. Yeah. It's it is a good thing that Colby's not
here for this. Because I remember last year, he said, well, at least they're doing a normal kickoff.
Now they are not. I mean, they were we kind of knew they were going to shake it up, right? This is
a a league that says like, hey, we're getting guys ready for the NFL. This kind of aligns more
with that. So we knew it was coming. It was just matter of time. Yeah, it's interesting. I don't
I don't like it. I don't like the NFL. I don't like I don't I don't like starting to ball the 40 ever.
Like yeah, sure for our touchback. That's that's crazy to me. Um, 30 yard line is the max. I'll go
for that really. If touchback, if you kick it through the end zone, it's a 40 yard line.
But if you bounce it in the landing zone, it goes to the 20. So that's interesting. So that creates
a little bit more turns. Anyway, that is what it is. What are you going to do? Um, they also moved
the legal catch to be one foot in bounds, the college rules instead of the two foot in bounds,
which is the professional rules. I like this. Actually, I like the one foot to be honest with you. It's
easier to officiate. Yeah, it's more aesthetically pleasing. I even think there's less injuries
because you're not trying to, you know, have these weird, unbraced falls getting two feet in. You
just get the one foot in and brace yourselves. Receivers are putting themselves in very awkward
positions trying to get the two feet in bounds. It's just funny between the differences between a
catch now from the sideline and then the middle of the field. You can just tap one toe when you get
in. But meanwhile, if you're over the middle of field, you got to do one, two, three, a football move,
fully digest the ball, hand it over to the referee in a UPS package or something. Do you like
the one foot? Yeah, I do. I think like you said, it is easier to officiate. You're talking about
most of these reps are not officiating in the NFL. Probably a reason for that. So it helps them out.
And you're also talking about, I mean, these are players that they have not quite gotten their
opportunity in the NFL or they're trying to get back. This gives them a little bit more flexibility
with that. And like you said, avoid some injuries where you're trying to bring both those feet
down for the toe taps and then people are hitting your ankles. I mean, absolutely. I think it's
I think it's going to help. And anything to get us less dino blend, dino into our coverage.
So we won't have to do that to see if he got two feet in bounds. Shout out to dino blend, dino,
who will be all over this season. Not too much after that over time is now just three attempts
from the five yard line kind of a shootout. Best of three with that. Then it goes to sudden death.
If it's still tied, I don't mind that either. Yeah, same. Are they going to count that as touchdowns?
How that's more important to us, really? Are they going to count as two point conversions? Are they
going to count as actual six points and keep adding it on? And so underbeth will be smoked out by
overs are always alive. Yeah, I guess their official rule page doesn't say, but I'm assuming they're
going to do the two points. Yes, I would hope so because that that that always seems ridiculous.
In college and even a pros when like you can just too much triple your score over time in your
overs or crushed. Anyway, so that's it. And then red zone penalties or at least are half the
distance. That's from the NFL as well. So did they not do that before? Is it only from inside
the 10 they would they do that? I think they were doing spot fouls inside the 10 or maybe even
inside the red zone there. Yes. All right. Doom. Doom deliver grease says the XFL extra point system
was very entertaining. USL version of modern modified is predominantly kicking for the extra point
extremely boring. I don't I don't see my my counter argument to that is after a touchdown,
which takes a lot, you know, to get and especially when you have money on it, I want a little bit
of boring after it. I don't need to be I don't need to be full on cocaine jump out of a helicopter
thrill ride. As they say, US Olympic cocky shootout like I want an extra I want something that you
can put in your pocket meeting an extra point. Yeah. And all these, you know, pointing out the
chat point now more points scored with all the rule changes. I know normally week one we we kind
of circle the unders. I looked in the the over under is not crazy right now for week one. I think
I'm looking at all the overs just because of these rule changes. Interesting because usually we
we would be all over those unders coming out of the gates. You know, we've got the new rosters and
the training camps and you know, whatever. And you have new fonts. But yeah, we'll look into it.
We'll look into week the week one game lines are already out there. Yeah. Some books have them not
all but some do. Interesting. We'll get to that the next week's show, but this week we'll do sprinkle
to the future. Like we said, it starts March 27th, training camp is in Arlington, Texas, new teams,
old teams, all the teams are there. Is that how they're doing again? I know they get to live at home
at least during the season this year. I don't know if they get to live at home, but they are
continuing the hub for now. All right. Fantastic. Okay. All right. Now before we get into the team
breakdowns, I do want to tell you about bracket madness coming out here. Of course, it is March
here at SGPN. It's back and we are teaming up with to give away $5,000 in prizes, free to enter.
Go to sportsgivingpodcast.com backslash bracket at sportsgivingpodcast.com backslash bracket
to enter. Plus we have a $25,000 survivor contest in sportsgivingpodcast.com backslash survivor
that sports came on podcast.com backslash survivor. That's all for the March madness thing.
If you're new to Splash, use promo code SGPN, play $5 and you get $50. That's actually a fun
pool. And it's like football survivor, but with March madness, she just pick a winner each day
for the bracket set sheet. It's pretty cunning. You have to keep your final four alive, obviously.
Your hawk eyes went down today. I saw that, Jay, Mark. I didn't see that as well.
But the cyclones did come through. Cyclones got a good team this year. Yeah, they are on a
pretty loaded. Derek wants to know, please tell me CJ Johnson is no longer a coach. We can
confirm that, I believe, but I also believe that he might have been the inspiration for the you
have to punt once you can't punt once you cross the 50-yard line rule. Sounds about right.
All right, let's break down some team, team previews for the 2026 UFL season.
I want to go in order of the futures. Are the favorites? Sure.
There's any random order. It doesn't matter. Dealer's choice. You pick.
Let's start off with the favorite. There's two chalk favorites. You have the rating champion DC
defenders, my team, which I just a real just to do a recap, tout of myself. I was all over DC
last year. I hit a lot of DFS lineups, a lot of Jordan, Tomo MVP. He didn't even get the regular
season MVP although he got Rob, but he did get the UFL championship. They came off a dominating
performance, of course, destroying it. They actually, you know, let's start with DC. They are,
which is weird. They are plus 370. I'm looking at second favorite behind Birmingham,
but it's interesting to me because they are returning 25 players from that championship team
of last year. Now Shannon Harris was the intern coach. He was the intern. He was knowing that a
week before the season started, whatever it was, ran down south. But now he's, of course,
the permanent head coach as he won coach of the year. They won the championship. He brings back
Greg Giga Giga's junior kid, Blake Williams, the defensive coordinator. They have Jordan Tomo,
who threw for 17 touchdowns and 21 hundred yards last year, ran two more in. Fred Kais is
a sort of assistant. He's a row seat. He's back. He's a assistant coach of the year.
And they're still pretty loaded. They got Kiki Kuttey receiver, Cornell Powell, Thai Scott,
Seth Williams. I mean, I don't really see how anything's going to be a lot much different for DC.
You got to like their chances this year. What do you think about DC?
Yeah, absolutely. Gary, if anybody checked out my UFL futures article on sportsgoingpodcast.com,
this is the team that I'm all over. It's hard to fade them, especially when you think about the
coach. This coaching staff took over, like you said, a week before the season and they were
able to get it done and win. Now they have the whole season to build for this. It just makes
too much sense to take them to win it. And especially when they're not the favorites,
maybe losing the guy like Chris Rowland will hurt a little bit. But I still think they got plenty
of receiving talent there. So I'm just not too worried about it. And I know that if you buy
into the old PFF grades, which I do not, but it is something I used to kind of compare teams,
they were fifth as far as overall efficiency in 2025. But they showed up when it mattered. And
that's all you need out of guys. And Jordan Tomu has been doing this. What is four, five years now
in the spring leagues? Yep. He's got the experience to make it work.
Even made a believer out of you, you've been a Tomu hater for much long in your career. But you
even you couldn't deny it, especially in a championship game. When they won that game 58-34,
he had five touchdowns. He was amazing. Yes, they lost Rowland. And I'd say this,
if you want it, if you want, if you're looking to poke holes in them, obviously it's a different
mindset coming in as a champion. As they were last year, they were definitely chip on their
shoulders. They were counted out all, I mean, up until the championship game, really.
Because of the coaching turnovers and just the way they were. But like I said, they're returning
25 guys. Their backfield, Abram Smith is going to be healthier. Now, Deon Jackson, I will expect
to be their lead back. But Abram Smith, they're still going to work them in there. And like,
that's a great one to punch. Obviously, UFL is never a bell cow situation. So I know they lost
Rowland, but like he said, pal, tie Scott, set Williams, Tiki, like they're going to be fine with
that. And Tom is going to put the ball up a lot. He'll put it in harm's way, sure, but they're
going to put up huge numbers. And their defense, I think they're the best edge rushers in the league,
at least a duo of Derek Robertson and Andre Mints. Mints had five and a half sacks last year.
He's from the NFL and Roberson, you know, they compare in the Miles Garrett. I wouldn't go that far,
but he does come off the edge. But I think they're going to be, they're going to be trouble in
an UFL. If you can get to the quarterback, you can, that's pretty much the name of the game when
it comes to disruption. And their secondary is great. They got a bunch of ballhawks back there.
They got the Andre Baker, Bryce Thompson, Leon O'Neal, Jr. And so you combine a great
pass rush with ballhawk secondary. You know, it's a passing league. That spells trouble.
Yeah, absolutely. Don't forget linebacker for Ad Gardener. I've been a fan of his for a while.
I think he had a cup of coffee with the Jaguars. I could be wrong there. But that's a guy that I think,
you know, linebackers in these leagues, either you have a big impact like Scooby or you just
kind of get lost. But I do think he's a name that's going to stand out among them.
Yeah, so 100%. So you, so you wrote out a few, shout out that article again on SportsGam
Podcasts.com. You wrote a future article and that's your main plays, DC. I like that.
It is. Yeah. Yeah. I'll definitely have some pieces on it now because I doubt their
price will get higher than three. What is that three, seven? I'm looking up there.
Yeah, three, seven, eight, three, seven, five on one book. Yeah. Interesting that there's a second,
there's a second choice behind the legendary franchise Birmingham stallions. Let's move on to them.
There are plus three, four. He's not that much of a difference. The Birmingham stallions
halts is no longer there. And you know, they, of course, they were to three time champ,
three back-to-back, the back champions, just over a year ago,
at the down of the, but now they're bringing, now they're bringing, and this is, this is,
this has got to split you up here. This is your, your favorite quarterback of your favorite
organization, the Battle Hawks. AJ McCarran is the head coach at Birmingham. What, what the hell's
going on down there? Yeah. This, this is the reason it shocked me that they are favorites. You
got a first time head coach. You got a first time offensive coordinator. You got a first-time
defensive coordinator. What are we doing? I know they have both, I mean, I know they have all
of Alabama ties. Obviously, AJ McCarran, three time national champion at Alabama there. But Tyler
Siskie, the offensive coordinator, what do you have a podcast? Is that what they got them from? I
mean, seriously, what the hell's going on here down the yellow hammer state? Yeah, I'm assuming
AJ, Odom, a favor or something. I don't know. Yeah, you're, it is interesting. If you're going to
have AJ McCarran, I mean, is he going to, is he going to step in and do a little player quarterback
situation there? I mean, I bet he can still throw it a ball better, but they, they, they do have
Matt Corral, though, a quarterback. Yeah. Who, who, who will put up good numbers? Obviously,
if he's healthy. And they did, you know, they say they built through the offensive, the offensive
defense line will still be good. They still have a roster there. I mean, they're not,
they're obviously not going to fall off a cliff, but I would not certainly put him a favorite.
Yeah, like their backfield coming in, they have AJ McFarlane Jr, who is an absolute beast
NFL running back. They got Tyrone Davis Price, who's also nice in there. It's Snoop Conner from
Ole Miss. They got, they got a loaded backfield with a lot of NFL talent. Yeah, it's hard to,
it is hard when you look at the, the main pieces that roster, especially with Matt Corral,
we saw how well he did when he was healthy last year. Yeah. Anthony McFarlane looking like the
best running back when he's on the field, maybe even the best player. But these leagues come down to
coaching a lot of times. And so that's why I'm a little scared on what the, the end result will be
here because you can have all the talent. But if they're not coached, well, it doesn't matter.
Correct. 100%. They do have some wide outs as well. We should mention Deon Cain, who's always great,
that he would Davis, the Ross brothers, John and Justin, and they're going to have a Leviscus
Shenalt Jr. Now that's an NFL name. Yeah. Is this his first year in UFL? Yeah, I believe it is.
They also have Cam Eccles Looper, who had some good games in the CFL last year. So it's interesting
to see them pick him up. And Jordan Thomas, it's tight end. We got to give him a shout out. He always
puts up, he always puts up once in a while, a huge number. So yeah, this will be interesting. What
happens down there in Birmingham with, I don't know. I just, I just, I really, I really don't know.
I do not trust his coaching staff whatsoever. Is this, now like you said, is this a volunteer or
a volunteer told situation with, with our guy is, like, Lithuania, when he sent me ball to Orlando.
So they're, they've always leaned in and trying to get the local legends and trying to get the
whole things. And we'll get into that as there's more teams going in there and just trying to
brand that. But this just seemed interesting. I don't know. Yeah. As the odds on favor, I'm staying
away from them. Yes, certainly would not recommend them for a future play. But obviously,
it'll be very dangerous. But yeah, but, but what, but what made Birmingham great besides
the Rossers and the style play was like, you, you could trust them. You know, you could trust
what they were doing. Then they knew how to win with under skip halts, one of the legendary coach.
And, you know, it's going to take, it's going to some growing pain, some bumps and bruises there.
All right. Hey, Jay McCarran just wanted his kids to see him coach one last month. My god,
with the kids and the wife and the fair. No, now I can see them. Now they can go to the
Piggly Wagley afterwards. They can do all the goddamn local Alabama stuff there. All right,
let's bring this going to the next one down on the board. Now we're taking kind of a bump here,
but not much. The Dallas renegades. They moved over from Arlington to Dallas finally.
Basically, it's a new era. Coach stayed. They're going to play a Toyota stadium. No more chakawa.
Like I said, a part of trying to make this more of an intimate experience. And stupes is out.
Big game stupes, but they bring in a name. The guitarist himself, the blonde hair beauty,
Rick Newhysel had coaching legend, one of the only guys who ever play and coach
winning to win a Rose Bowl. You won a Rose Bowl as a player in coach. That's what I was trying to say.
That's it. If I was to say that sentence better, that's what it was.
So Newhysel's a legend, obviously. So this is intriguing to me.
They had the spring king, a quarterback, another one of your favorites, Louise Perez.
500, right? That's I saw. I saw one of your other articles. You wrote a fantasy article.
You saw that. Check that out. What's that? All fantasy.sports. Yeah. All fantasy sports.com.
All fantasy sports.com. Check that out. Jay marks. Great piece there. Yes. And he did take a quick
thing called the king of 500 inside. Joe, if you don't know, because Louise Perez, author,
bestselling author, King of Spring. He is back for another year.
With Noelle Mazone as the offensive coordinator, he's always been a creative offensive coordinator.
He's been known for. So I'm kind of interested. What Newhysel's going to be able to do with Perez?
They got receivers, of course. They have Ty Vaughns. They burn that back. And they have Denzel
Mims from the NFLs. He's kind of like, there's Chanel. So that's a dangerous pass attack right there
if they can get this going. Yeah. I mean, Perez De Vaughns was already a pretty good connection,
right? And a little bit more talent there. And Day Day Hunter really started to blossom. I felt
like last year is their running back. Yes. Now, you did say two things that don't go together,
necessarily. You said that, you know, offensive coordinator, they're creative. And what he can do,
how creative can you be with Perez? That's good point. He's not, I mean, and he's not, I know I
put him down a lot. He's been a decent quarterback in these spring leagues, but he's not a fleshy guy,
right? There's not much flesh. So it's going to be interesting. I read an article today where
somebody said, I believe it was actually the UFL starts March 27th on Fox. I believe it was a
graphic they put out that they think Austin Reed could get some playing time. I watched Austin
Reed play in the preseason for the Chicago Bears last year or two years ago. And he is a guy that
can sling the ball and move around. So it'll be interesting if that, if they want to kick it up a
little bit more to somebody who's more mobile than Louise Perez. If he gets some playing time as
well, maybe, maybe they both, we've seen these spring leagues where you have two quarterbacks that
get rolled out. We don't necessarily like it, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see that in this,
in this team. Yeah, it's, you're right. If, if new highs on them do feel Perez kind of limits
to what they want to do, I can definitely see them making a switch. I mean, just because you have
a book out does not mean you are penciled in to be the statue starter of our sake. But like you
said, what day they hunt our endos receivers Greg Ward as well to another accent fan NFL
play for the Eagles. They got a couple of linebackers who are more of your, like you said,
they're more of your leaders and toughness there in Andrew Dow and Donald Payne.
You know, the defense will be it is what it is. The coordinator, who did they bring up for
coordinate or Gillon or who's been food, coordinate coach 15 years, the NFL. So, yeah, I mean,
they're bringing some veteran coach. I this, I think the floor on this team is pretty high.
Yeah. Like, if we think, then that's exactly what we're talking about. We lose Perez. It's
nothing flashy, but his floor is pretty high. Yeah, they're, they're at least going five and five.
And a king of 500 and a plus four 70. So I'm going to consider it depends on how you do,
but yeah, I do think, I'm not going to say it's a lateral move from stupids to new highs,
but it's, it's, it's pretty similar. It seems like. Yeah, it is interesting how some of these
teams, they get slotted with veteran coaches and then have this to get first timers. I wonder how
they decide that. Yeah, I know. Well, it's like an any corporate office or any businesses that
they do not think creatively. They only know what they're told and what they're shown. They're
like, so that's what they repeat that. All right, let's go to the fourth team for it. Take a quick
break right here in the same tier. Now we go down to all Tony meatballs, our first expansion team,
your Lando. What would I keep the storm storm? How could I mess up the Orlando storm? And
Tony meatballs, Anthony Beck, as much as I like to crack jokes at him, he is a very good coach,
22 and eight up there in St. Louis. And he brought a bunch of battle hawks with him. He brought
like seven guys down there. He brought his entire staff. He brought Mark Colombo. He's got two,
I think he's got two offensive coordinators. He likes to give back a lot of co-coaching titles,
like Mark Colombo and Colombo and Colombo and Thompson or OCs and assistant head coaches.
Donnie Abraham is a defensive coordinator for St. Louis last year. Now they're going to be
interesting. So they got a new roster built, but I think they're, I mean, they're going to,
they're going to play. They're going to be, I mean, they're not going to be like, you know,
an expansion team is going to take him a while to get out there. These seems like a nice 500 squad
to me as well. They have interesting quarterback room, Dorian Thomas Robinson, DTR. Obviously
a name there for Michigan, multiple dual threat, if you will. A couple of coffee and he had a
foul couldn't cut it there, but he'll be interesting in this league. And they also have Jack plumber
to back him up, if in case need be. What do you think? Just right from the top of Anthony Beck,
down in his sunshine. All Italians got to retire down the floor. Yeah. I mean, I'm shifting
allegiance here. I'm going from the battle hawks to going for the storm. Maybe it's because Anthony
Beck is there. Their offense of coordinator, as you said, Mark Colombo, former Chicago bear.
Yes. But I like what they did here with DTR at quarterback. They have Chris Roll and Marques,
Stevens and D Anderson, KJ Hamline. I mean, some, some really good players that have had success
in the spring league. And just recently they added Joshua Corbin, who was one of the top running
backs in the league. All you have to all you have to running back for San Antonio last year. Yeah,
I mean, he probably the best running back last year as far as statistics wise is, you know,
consistency goes, but yeah, Corbin is a great ad. They also have Trace Stewart. Like he said,
I like the receivers too. D Anderson, he's like six foot six. He can make a lot of great plays.
Chris Rollin from DC. Look, we mentioned earlier. Yeah. He's been tasking KJ Hamler Penn
stator busted out there with the Broncos. Was he a first round pick for Penn State?
He was something like a second after he's a high back draft. It was high. Yeah. Yeah, for sure.
So yeah, that'll be interesting. Now, depending on how much you, we trust DTR. I mean,
obviously he's got NFL talent. So he will, he will do some things down there. They're defense.
They're kind of a disruptive defense. They got a couple NFL D backs there and Mike Abraham,
Jalen Mahoney. I know they've, they're like that. And they bring back TJ Pisfeta from St. Louis,
who was who anchored their defense. So yeah, I mean, you know,
Talien's a Florida. We'll see what goes on. They do have a lot of, I mean,
and he already claims he thinks Orlando can be the hub of the UFL, the prominent city. He's making
like that, like those New Yorkers like to do to go down there and make bold statements and take
over the culture. Yeah. No, and just, you know, I brought up PFF before regular season grade,
Tony Meatball's Battle Hawks had the highest one last year during the regular season.
And he's continued to be successful in the regular season. It's just once he gets to the playoffs,
they kind of fizzle. Right. I am excited to see what he does with DTR because last year when
Manny Wilkins was healthy, a dual threat quarterback, they had a lot of success. Yes.
I feel like that might be able to transfer over to what he can do with DTR as well.
Yes. And that's it. And I give Tony Meatball credit for that because when McCarran and then
went down, whatever, and then he switched over to Wilkins and completely different quarterbacks,
they were still able to succeed in changing their offense in there. And like,
so he can do a nap. So you're right. I think you'll be able to do a lot of decent things with
DTR and, you know, DTR is a town. Absolutely. So. All right. Let's talk. Let me real quick tell
these guys about Kowshi Jaymark because how could you, how could you even exist in life without

We are back here. We're breaking down the team previews for the 2026 upcoming UFL season.
We're halfway through there. We went through the top half as far as the odds go. Who knows though?
DC was, but was DC like six or seven last year preseason before day? I want to change
you. I remember I had him. I had like a 10 to one or 12 to one early on. They were especially after
coaching changes. They were very low total. But speaking of Tony Bologna going to Florida,
he left St. Louis. You're your old battle hawks who did always always have a great regular season.
Make the playoffs just never could get over the hump. So they so
beat ball is out. And Ricky Pearl is in the who wasn't why receiver coach at least last year.
And I get it. He's a St. Louis Ram legend there. They have AJ Smith as the offensive coordinator
Birmingham Houston. We all know what we think about AJ Smith. If you're a fan of the UFL gambling
podcast show, they have Cory Chamberlain as a defensive coordinator. So now this quarterback
room is interesting. They're going to they're going to go with Brandon Silvers who was the
starter their last year for most of the season. My guess is they have to go with Long John Silvers.
Yeah, I had to go with Long John Silvers. They also have Ben Woolridge in there who was a 24
son belt offensive player of the year. And I remember reading in the off season that we're
going to bring in Michael Pratt two lanes all time. Was he is he no longer there? Did he take a
job somewhere else? I think he bowed out. And so they have Harrison Frost as another quarterback.
Harrison Frost. Okay. Not as exciting to me as Michael Pratt would have been. But I will say
between Silvers and Woolridge, they got experience one experience, one a little bit of upside. So
it's a good combination I guess to have. I can't just off the surface. You're going from Anthony
back to Ricky Prole. I think you're going to take a step down just you know in in quality. But
they still have. Well, I think the best receiver room around the team butler and Jikeer Pearson.
That's the best duo in the league. Yeah. And he came up with a mother could absolutely be a beast.
And they still and they brought him Blake Jackson. The Jarvan Howard. I mean Jarvan Howard
are running back. And you know, they're the best home field advantage in the league. Obviously then
in the battle down there. Yeah, I mean, and that's they should knock on wood going to feed it at
home because of that whether they will will see. I agree with you. This is kind of a downgrade
in coaching. I love everything about this roster except the quarterback. I just don't have a lot
of faith in Long John Silvers. I remember I got into it last year when I think it was when
Wilkins got hurt and I said bring Brian Scott in and and somebody was like, we don't want him
because I watched him play in the XFL for I think he said the the Sea Dragons or something which
Brian Scott didn't even play for. And he's like, and none of the teammates liked him. And I was
like, what are you talking about? He's never even played for them. He goes, oh, wait, that was
that was Silvers. But I knew it was one of those. There's just a white quarterback. Is that
what you're telling me? Come on. But yeah, it's real quick. Congrats to everyone who hit the under 45
minutes of the first episode of the season before Jari Mark brought up a bring Brian Scott
referenced it into the league. There's the Jersey back there. Shout out to the number one agent
of Ryan Scott there. Jay market Iowa. Uh, maybe this is the year. How, I mean, how quickly is
that so is that battle hawk Jersey being purchased? If you get a Byron Scott in the roster,
I'd say Lewis. No, you know me. I'm a mooch. I'm going to be hitting him up and saying, hey,
can you hook me up? But you're right. This roster is still great. And of course, in the defensive
player of the year in PETA, uh, don't even try to pronounce his last name. Seven of sacks,
toilet pop-up pop-up pop-up whatever. Um, so they do have a great roster there. And yes,
Jason. Yeah, you're not familiar with my game. This is this is the heavy UFL. We bring,
we bring it hard. And if you follow it, if you tailed last year, it was DFS winner after DFS
winner on the UFL sub. I'm sorry. Continue on with your battle hawking houses. Yeah. No, I just,
this is a team that they could do well in the regular season. They couldn't get it done in
the playoffs. And I think they take a step back. So yeah, I'm not, I'm not buying into them at,
it looks like it's six and a half to one about. So, right. It's there you are.
I mean, yes, I'm looking at it's plus 650 right now. I'll put a note next to them because,
you know, there are teammates there at, you know, that's there at the end of the year every year.
I'm not going to those with anything back. It's a downgrade. But I'm going to faith in them to
figure it out a little bit, you know, as they move along. But like you said, the roster is there.
Yeah. And quarterbacks like, yes, these are the quarterbacks as of now going into the season.
But as we know, rarely is that the way it is now the season finishes here, especially in UFL.
I mean, there's a rotating quarterbacks. Birmingham went through five of them. They're all better
than the last one. It seemed like last year. It was amazing. Yeah. And then sometimes,
I remember that first year when Vegas pulled out a guy like, well, what the hell is he better than
last five weeks? You know, they brought up a clinic to talk some balls here. So,
St. Louis, a little bit of a downgrade. They are fifth on the roster. Now, let's go to Columbus,
a new expansion team at eight to one. The Columbus aviators, because we all know the right brothers
of flight was in, uh, burdened Dayton. But anyway, we'll hold to it. I love this.
This is this team. Um, this team could be a disaster, if you ask me. Yeah. Starting with head coach,
I mean, shout out to Ted Ginn Jr. But this is this week's of Heinz Ward, you know,
when we're like, let's just get a star from that area. And obviously he's our high state legend.
Ted Ginn, we all love him as a player. But first year head coach, yet now that they do have Todd Haley
as the offense coordinator, who has NFL head coaching experience, obviously, long time experience.
Yeah. And they do have Jalen McClendon a quarterback, you know, who like he's one of those guys,
like just like who popped out of nowhere from Houston last year. Look, why wasn't he the
goddamn starter? You know, it's his fifth year in spring balls, third in the UFL, Clayton Tune
to back him up, if need be. Um, so Jalen McClendon with Todd Haley is interesting, you know,
maybe taking again and working and work with it. They have a good offensive line,
Noah Algley, who was in Houston last year, Joanne Buschel-Beney, who's in St. Louis for three
times last three years, Glastner, Chuck Feligia, they have some good guys. And the receivers,
they have Kiki Chisholm, who we love in Houston, four years down there, you know, they just never
really had a quarterback thrown the ball. Other than that, not too much Rock Taylor, Tam Martin,
I'm looking at, but they have Toa Toa at running back, which is interesting. As we know, he came out
of nowhere in the middle of the season last year for Michigan, played about six or seven games,
and he led the league in touchdowns, like he was just as sure as to how he was, like, he came out
like a bad out of hell. Oh, can't a ball. So they do have interesting pieces. I'll give them that,
but I mean, I don't know. What's your thoughts on this? So anybody that has followed me before,
you know, sometimes I do irrational decisions when it comes to my bets and head coach,
Ted Ginn Jr said that LeBron is the goat over MJ, so I will not even consider them.
I just think that, yeah, Ted Ginn, it does feel like it's just, let's just grab somebody that
will draw a crowd. They have Captain Monterlin, who just was recently playing. That's their
defense of coordinator now. Captain Monterlin is right. Yeah. So, and then so I look at Todd Haley,
the experience kind of in the room, and it's like, are they going to go with his route, and you're
going to see Toa Tawa run the ball a lot, but that doesn't really fit Jalen McClendon, who's kind
of a slinger, right? So they want to go to Ted Ginn, who was this wide receiver and play on the
passing game. It just feels like a disaster. It feels like a disaster. You good call. Like we said,
they have interesting talent and pieces, but like, I don't see how they fit together. They're all,
like you said, they all have different, like, contrasting styles, like, none more than Toa and
Jalen McClendon. And like you said, even under defense, yeah, I got Kenny Wilkes, who's a nice
defensive fan from Michigan. Kendrick Whitehead, who is all UFL special teamers, he seems like a
Ted Ginn type of guy, you know, who's a great, you know, great special team player,
is a nice gadget player, but, you know, I don't know what I'll do there in a secondary. So, yeah,
this is going to be a, this is going to be a bumpy road for the great Ted Ginn Jr, who's
famous play was returning the opening kickoff in a national championship and tearing his ACL
down to celebration all the same play. Yeah, absolutely. And Derek point out this year's MVP
could be working at the grocery store right now. Hey, those grocery store workers sometimes go
to the hall of fame when they come from Northern Iowa. That's right. All right. Let's move on to the
final expansion team of the third is the Louisville. What are they called again? The kings.
Kings of all the kings in Louisville. How could I forget the Louisville kings? It's the
race. It's the sport of kings. It's a horse racing reference. They got experience on both sides
of the ball, though. I will say that. This is a, this is a, this is a, I want to say a
dull team, but this is kind of got a solid. This doesn't, this team doesn't seem exciting, but
I don't think they're going to be terrible. I think they're going to be better than Columbus, if you
will. They got speaking of local legends. Chris Redman, not not always either Louisville all time,
you know, quarterback, but he's from Louisville. He's like Louisville fans, you know, he's from the
state fair. You know, there's nothing that's not Louisville about Chris Redman. So he'll be the
head coach there. Great quarterback. They got Steve Logan. He offers a coordinator. He's got
50 years of experience coaching. This is his first as an OC. Oh, it's interesting. Jamie Sharper,
a great football player. He's a deep coordinator. We'll see how that works out.
Yeah, what are they doing with the quarterback? We're, am I looking at Jason Bean as a starting
quarterback? Yeah, I'm curious on your thoughts on that because this is the biggest discrepancy I see
on the old socials where a lot of people are so excited about Jason Bean. He was supposed to play
last year for Memphis, never showed up. Right. And I'm on the opposite end. I mean, this is a guy
that at one point at Kansas. He was 22 for 65 and throws over 10 plus yards, but I'm curious
to talk about Jason Bean. Yeah, he's, I mean, he's a dull threat guy, obviously, you know, and,
and when if I'm thinking, when I think of Chris Redman, I don't think of someone he wants
someone who throws for 10 yards. That's for sure. I think Chris Redman. So who else?
I got a Chandler Rogers in North Texas guy back. Does he, does he on the roster there?
I believe so. Yeah. And Nicosi Perry. And Nicosi Perry. So I like, I'm a Chandler Rogers guy
through 29 touchdowns and 23 Perry, but yeah, the quarterback room is definitely a weakness here,
but their backfield is where they will have their strength. They have Benny Snow Jr.
Who's a, obviously, who's a four-time, played four years for the Steelers. He was great,
but he also, and they have Caleb Belage as well. Another NFLer from Arizona State.
Caleb Belage and Benny Snow. That's a pretty loaded backfield. So I think they added even more
talent that I think we'll take over James Robinson, former driver. Wow. James Robinson.
He'll steal that job. They also have Ian Wheeler, former Chicago Bear. He runs hard. I can see him
being a short guy. So yeah, it'll be interesting to see who gets the most carries, but I think
Robinson could come in and just steal that job. That'd be interesting. And I got Linbound
Jr. I know he's a receiver, but he's kind of like a gadget receiver, Kentucky legend. So I can
use it. I can see them. I can see him trying to really, you know, squeak and earn any kind of yards
they can there. Other receivers they have Kwame Lasseter, right? He's still out there.
If you came in for either, Jonathan Adams, Lucky Jackson, and Joe Payton. Lucky Jackson,
DFS legend last year. I always love Lucky Jackson. He's, oh, you can always get him into scrap
peep back when he was on the DC. Their defense is kind of star-studded though, I would think.
You know, that's why I think this team is, like I said, they're not exciting, but I can see them
winning and losing low scoring games. I got Cameron Dancer, who was the third round pick,
in the NFL, I believe. He's a D-back, as long with Josiah Bronson,
Kenny Robinson's, Jonathan Bronson's a D-Tack, obviously, in Bronson's a D-back,
but they all have NFL experience. Yeah, as I'm saying these words out loud, I'm pretty down on
this team, actually. So what do you think's going to happen at the quarterback and with Louisville in
general? I mean, so a lot of people base their assumption on who will start based on social
medias, right? Because the social media person is in charge of putting out clips that are good,
and most of those have involved Jason Bean. Now, the social media person has no idea what the
coaches are thinking who's going to start. Just saw a good play and they're like, oh, this is a good
clip. I mean, we should say, like official depth charts aren't out. Barely rosters aren't even out
yet. This is a lot of speculation. I'm assuming because I'm seeing the most of him. So I'm jumping
in the assuming, but also because there was a big deal when he didn't show up last year,
and this year he's motivated to show up that they're going to roll out Jason Bean to start with.
I just, and I'm just not a believer. I don't think he keeps the job. Yeah,
and I agree. And being, he can give you flashes. Obviously, he is a town. I'm not saying he's not
bad. You know, and he'll give you flashes. But yeah, I believe his inconsistencies and his
downs are worse than his ups, if you will. Yeah. And I can see the coaching staff, especially a new
coaching staff get pretty frustrated early and give a hook. So I think you're right there. I think
that'll be rotate. I think it's going to be frustratingly rotated all season long. All right.
All right. Let's go to the final team here to wrap up the 2026 UFL season preview. And that is
the Houston gamblers formally, the roughnecks, what a horrible name change. Now that now the gambling
is in fruition. Now they're fun. Now they've embraced like, yeah, we can go back to people
don't mind if we're called the gamblers anymore. I guess they would. See now they, like I said,
they're they're moving to shell energy stadium in downtown Houston. I like that move. I think
it'll be much more intimate. Give me more excitement. And they're bringing in head coach Kevin
someone claimed a fame. He coached Johnny football Texas A&M. They had an explosive offense. So
people just assume how this offense is going to be explosive. Well, we'll see about that. I mean,
they don't have Johnny football that offense or Mike Evans crying out loud. But they do have a
couple of interesting quarterbacks there. Yeah. 100 Deckers. Iowa State Cyclone played a little
bit for the New Orleans Saints as well. He's got a huge arm. Yeah. So if they run this Kevin
someone offense, I mean, I think I don't know. It's there's a lot of unknowns, obviously,
with that. But this this offense has potential. Who else would have been there? They've done
if Smith is back up and Nolan Henderson out there. Yeah. Yeah. And I have no idea which one they
plan on rolling out. This is the team that I'm the most uncertain on. Yeah. But yeah, Deckers.
He's not he's from Iowa. He's an Iowa guy. He's showing some flashes, you know, played behind
Brock Purtie at Iowa State. Yeah. No one. Yeah. No one Henderson, the the Delaware blue hen.
We saw some flashes from him and he did get in some games last year. Yeah. He got in there.
And then Donovan Smith. I mean, I just don't know what route they're going to go. And that's
probably one of the reasons that they are. The the worst odds to win because
I think that's the win at 141. But they are more of an unknown. This team definitely intrigues me.
They got some receivers. John T. Kirkland's great receiver. Yeah. Justin Hall,
they've Kai Loxley's tall man six foot four. Who would serve backfield situation?
Kirk Merritt. Is there going to be a running back? So yeah, I wasn't sure either because they have
Kirk Merritt. They have Marcus Yarns. They have Nate McCrary and then Marcus Major. But all three of
those guys are capable of handling. I think the full work load. So yes, I agree. So but you know,
yeah, nothing that's short jumps out actually, but probably you're definitely rotating by committee
situation. And you know, if you know Kevin someone, he really has no interest anyway of
beating a beast of running back. Anyway, he just wants someone to fill out there and catch
so far out of the backfield. They're defense. I kind of like what they have on defense. If you look
at, they have a lot of talent and seems like it's on all three levels. Yeah, you know,
I mean, their D backs, Kenan Isaacs, who was played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I believe,
Nico Bolden. He's very versatile. And even all UFL linebacker in Anthony Hines.
Pete played for DC, the champions last year. And so with that, I mean, Eric Price's are all
offensive coordinator, 34 year veteran Marvin Sanders, defensive coordinator. Yeah. So this
team, like you said, a lot of questions. I don't know what they're going to do. But as we'll get into
it a little bit, we're going to talk to the futures. I'd much rather take a chance on someone like
these have 14 to one. And some of these other teams were like, I think I pretty much know what's
going to happen. Right. Yeah. I know. I absolutely agree. Yeah. So all right. Well, with that,
let me tell you to go through these list ad reads and we'll come back. We'll give our futures
for the upcoming 2026 at UFL season. But first, let me tell you about Novig.

All right, we are back here in the UFL. And real quickly, I should do some plugs before we
get into our futures. I already mentioned the old-fashioned football podcast. Make sure you
subscribe to that. Make sure you're following Jaymark and Jaymark wifey on all the socials.
We probably should have that going on with a ticker. But it was at Jaymark football. I believe on
X. Yep. At Jaymark football and you can find us at old-fashioned FB talking football and whiskey
all year long. And whiskey all year long. I love it. Make sure you hit the thumbs up, of course,
on this on UFL shelf. You're watching on YouTube. Make sure you're subscribed to UFL gaming
podcasts, wherever pods are told on either Spotify, iTunes, whatever gives a five-star review.
Hell, you can write a bad review. We don't give a shit as long as it has five stars. And I keep the
algorithms going. Subscribe to my show, the bottom line of bombs. Everyone here better be
subscribed to the bottom line bombs and old-fashioned football. It is live on Monday's Wednesday,
but it goes through all the weekend, occasionally bonus episodes. We all will be out in Las Vegas
next week. Come meet and greet. And with that, I'm going to have to get in some paper tickets
actually next week in Vegas. If UFL, I've got to find, see if Derek Stevens at Circa has some UFL
futures lined up, see if we can get some better numbers. All right, let's go. Let's go down here.
We already mentioned there's eight teams numbers. Birmingham to chocolate plus 340 Houston,
the longest shot at 14 to one. Why don't you give us two futures you like that you've been locked in on
and you can repeat anything you want from some of these are great articles you wrote in sports
game podcast. Yeah, well, I'll start the one I kind of already hit on DC defenders. They seem like
the clear cut favorite to me. They did it last year and they were returning a bunch as you pointed
out, plus the same coaching staff. To me, that's important. And the other one, I just can't
help but be a little bit biased towards Tony Meatball. Maybe now he is out of the dome,
all that pressure to win at home in the playoffs and the dome is off and he's outdoors every game.
I think I think they I like their odds at five and a half to one, especially with DTR, Chris
Roland, Joshua Corbin. I mean, I think that's a great core on the offense. Yeah, that's a fine play
there for sure. And of course, like he said, like the times go to Florida to to retire or whatever
or get a new identity, if you will, they get a new spring in life. They're talking a big game. So
and he, like I said, his record speaks for itself. I'm with you on DC. I was on them last year
as a long shot. I still like my plus 370. And like we said, that number is not I don't believe
that number is going to get higher. You know, so if anything, it's going to come down. They return
25 players from their championship team, including all the greatness, all the pieces on offense
and their coaching staff. They will be the hunted this year. But yeah, like we think we think
Birmingham's taking a step down with the coaching change. You think, you know, Dallas and trees,
we've been not that at that price. So I'll lock in DC with you at plus 370. And I mentioned
in lecture of all the long shots. Why not sprinkle a 14 to one on Houston gamblers?
If I want to take a long shots, I'm not taking Louisville. I'm not taking Columbus. You know,
I can be talked in the St. Louis or land or even Dallas. But like I said, those prices, I can't
I can't turn down this number at 14 to one just because of the unknown. And what if this
offense is exposed? What if this is Kevin's someone at all? You know, he was at Houston,
A and M at a University of Arizona. And like, you know, he put they put up numbers. So
I think Hunter Decker's has a I have a feeling it's going to be Hunter Decker's. I like
him. And I was state, you know, taking over for the for Brock birdie succeed, Brock bird. He's got
a huge arm. And you know, if he gets this offense, clicking with those receivers, Kirkland,
Loxley, I mean, who knows? Like we said, all we need to do is get into the playoffs,
which isn't hard. Just we got to beat half the teams. And then we can start moving,
then we can start moving around and getting away and getting out of it, you know,
especially if we get the championship game. Now, are they not doing divisions this year? Are
they doing just top four? Just the top four. That's correct. No divisions. Which I do like. Yeah.
The schedule is a little different because I know we see this in the CFL-2 and you only have
nine teams. You have some weeks where you play the same team back to back. I think that with only
10 weeks, they could have been a little more creative with that. But it is still this top four
no divisions. So that is interesting. And just to piggyback a couple, you said, I like your gamblers
play. I Hunter Decker's from I think it's Howard and Iowa. Yes. Even though the website or the
official UFO website says he went to Iowa Western. I don't believe he transferred Iowa state
from I have a Western community college in council. I was either where I took a couple courses.
So yeah, there you go. You bumped into them with the high V down there. So there's a smile
on every aisle. That's right. All right. Well, that's going to do it for the UFO's season preview,
team preview episode. We will be back next week. We're going to break down the week one lines and
go through the picks for the week one and give out the FS lineups. Maybe or maybe not. We'll have
the great Colby D picks done D with this. He is deep in college basketball right now.
You never know. He will definitely be joining us for the season once the season kicks off. But
we will be back. Yeah. Next week and we'll have a steady schedule when what days we are. This is
I'm thinking about it now Thursdays, but anyway, anyway, like we said, five star view thumbs up
on everything. And yeah, if I don't have any catchy closing line like Colby does, like you got
to start thinking about yours. Your Colby impersonations are on point. Thank you very much here.
We find we find some good music here. Let me do some of that epic music in there. All right.
That's going to do it for the UFL Gaming Package show. We'll see you next week.
