I do feel like the more we talk about him and the more he's talked around baseball circles
because this isn't just a Yankees story by the way. He's become a national storyline
and I want to highlight that and really go over his chances of making this roster and who's
going to have to beat out for that job.
You are Lockdown Yankees, your daily New York Yankees podcast. Part of the Lockdown podcast
network, your team, every day. Welcome to Lockdown Yankees, which is part of the Lockdown podcast
network. Now the number one sports podcast network in the country. I'm Stacy Gottsulius alongside
my co-host Brian McKean and we would like to thank you for making Lockdown Yankees your first
listen every day, Brian. We're midway through the week. There was some WBC action on Tuesday,
a lot of high scores, a lot of hitting. Looks like it could be fun. Action is strong, but the
team USA looks like it's insanely stacked. Like we're going to read you the lineup later on and
your jaw is going to drop. Right. Thank you. Well, this episode is brought to you by MLB The Show
26. Visit MLBThe.show slash Lockdown and use code Lockdown to unlock a pack for use in diamond
dynasty pre-order now. It's available March 17th, otherwise known as Saint Patty's Day,
on PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It's rated E for everyone. So coming up on the show.
Jerkson Profare, what are you doing? We're going to talk about that in segment three. We're going to
talk about team USA and how stacked they are. We're also going to give you updates on
John Carlos Stanton and Max Fried because they made appearances on Tuesday. But first, let's talk
about the Yankees bullpen heading into the upcoming 2026 regular season. Yeah, and I want to highlight
the odds now of Carlos the Grand Hay being able to make this team right out of camp because
I do feel like the more more we talk about him and the more more he's talked around baseball
circles because this isn't just a Yankees story, by the way. He's become a national storyline.
And I want to highlight that and really go over his chances of making this roster and who's going
to have to beat out for that job. So more often than not from most teams, there's eight bullpen spots
available. And the Yankees have a lot of there is kind of solidified. It's really there's really two
spots that are kind of available at the back end of the Yankees bullpen. Right now, what I'd say are
the deathments that are going to make the roster stay see it would be David Bednar be closing,
obviously. Camilo Duval is going to be a setup guy and Fernando Cruz. They'll both be set up guys
then you'll have Tim Hill, Ryan Yarbrough was a middle relief guy and Paul Blackburn.
Those are the guys that are definite to me. There's no way they don't make the roster. They're
a part of this team. That's it. Then there's four guys that are going to fight for two spots.
And I think one of these is kind of solidified if who's going to get it, but you know, let's discuss
Jake Bird, Fahel Chivi. That was the guy that they acquired from the Rockies earlier in the year
on the offseason. Cade Wind Quest, who has moved through their system quicker than, I mean, maybe
anyone we've ever seen it's insane how much they love him and Carlos to ground hit.
I think with that list of four guys that he's got to win one of those two spots,
I think it's a legitimate chance that he makes it at this point, Stacy. He's looked that good in
camp. His numbers are that good. His velocity has been great. And again, he's become a national
talking point, not just the local talking point. So I think there's a real chance at the only
guy that I think's going to kind of definitely get one of these spots is Jake Bird.
He's a major league talent. They did acquire. They liked his stuff already. They put him in
AAA last year to refine his stuff because they didn't trust him for the end of 2025. They let him
have a whole offseason. I can't imagine the Yankees intent is not to have Jake Bird make the roster.
If that's not the point, then why would they not just cut Jake Bird at that point?
Right. You know what I mean? If he's not going to make the roster, he doesn't serve him any
purpose in the minor leagues. They probably cut him at that point. I think Carlos, the
Grondheim, makes this roster. I think it's going to be Bird and the Grondheim that make this team
honestly. You don't think it's too soon? Stacy, he's one of two pitchers in spring training this
year to average over 100 miles an hour on his fastballs. Right. He's doing that good, right?
And the other guy is Mason Miller. So that's like a pretty good guy to be associated with.
I just like, he's been that good. Also, he has the fastest pitch in spring training, by the way,
102.4. Remember that that strikeout that he had? I agree with you. It could be too soon.
I don't think there's anything wrong, though, with calling up a guy too soon that actually has
this talent level. I think he's taking a league by storm in spring training. He's been one of the
better pitchers in all of spring training. Again, not just with the Yankees throughout all of
baseball. Too soon, age wise, sure. Maybe prospect wise between who he's fighting for the job with,
I can hear you on that. But to me, who's better is who's better? And I would put the Grondheim on
this major league roster almost immediately. I think he's been that good. I think he is that good.
The talent level's that high. You don't agree or no? I don't know, because he's only been with,
he hasn't even made it to AAA yet. And I'm always worried, like, no matter how well a guy's throwing
in spring training, I feel like some of these guys need to have at least some AAA experience.
I'm not against bringing him up at some point in 2026, but I think it might be too soon,
no matter how well he's throwing in spring training for him to start the year,
completely skipping AAA and starting with the major league roster.
I would say this to your point, it would be very un Yankees to just have him make the team
without ever seeing time in AAA. They've kind of shown a tendency to do that a little less
with smaller AAA time of late, especially with Anthony Volpe being one of the prime examples,
Jason Dominguez. They're not afraid of letting guys get major league time before they...
It's more of a hitting thing, though, with them, though, right? It's true. It's not really the
pitchers, I feel, they get more time for the pitchers. I would agree with you. They tend to leave
pitchers in the majors a little too long, to be honest with you, and at the minors, I'd say.
Here's what I will say, though. They're giving him time in spring training, starting games
towards the top of the order, facing the actual major leagueers and the other teams. They're not just
having him go up against the scrubs of the other organizations. He's facing the real major league talent
and he's doing this well. I think that bodes well for them, too. We've always said this and
we're not rooting for this by any means. These things every year have a way of figuring themselves out.
We've talked about it for years and years and years where we've analyzed, oh, the Yankees have
too many guides at exposition, too many guides at Y position. And then all those guys are not playing
throughout the entire year because somehow, some way, guys get hurt, you know how it is,
and they find playtime for guys. I think at this point, it's pretty much solidified, at least in
my head, and I wonder what you think. We will see him in Yankee uniform in 2026. At some point,
this year, he will make it in any Yankee uniform. If he's pitching this well in AAA in spring training,
I can't imagine his numbers aren't going to be great in AAA. So I think it's sooner rather than
later, if they start him in AAA, would you start him starting games or would you start him in the bullpen?
Oh, yeah, I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I go bullpen because he's going to be a bullpen
pitcher for the Yankees, at least in the start of his career. I would go bullpen, have him in there.
I mean, there's the potential too. I think this guy has a very lively arm and a new season,
and an off season is going to help this guy out a lot in a guy in Camilo DeVal. When they
acquired him last year, he has some of the best stuff in all of baseball. So I think that guy
throws hard. Very similar stuff to what LeGron hey has. What if DeVal isn't who they acquired?
And what if he just can't handle New York and he's terrible and what if it's another dev in
William's situation? That's going to create a roster spot, right? It's going to create a spot.
They're not going to pitch him as much. So I do think there's going to some some way somehow
LeGron hey is going to make his way onto this roster. I just don't know when. I don't hate the idea
of opening day though. I just don't. If you're that good, you're that good. I hear your point.
I think they're going to hold off and that's the difference between my opinion and what is
actually going to happen. My opinion is I don't hate the idea of him appearing in opening day.
I'm not saying he's closing games start year, but I don't hate the idea of him making it that
quick. The Yankees opinion though. I don't think there's a chance he's in the Bronx in opening day
or in right. I could see him starting the year in triple A because he hasn't been there yet.
Yeah. I can't imagine that. I think that's more of a possibility. But I also to your point
agree because I said it earlier, he's if he keeps this up, he's going to be up sooner rather than
later. I just don't see him on the opening day roster, but you're going to see him with the Yankees
in 2026. I would be willing to bet money on it. Yeah. The other guys, you don't have a problem
with the guys that I said are deaf and it's right. DeVal, Cruz, Bednar, Tim Hill, Ryan Yarbro,
Paul Blackburn, who are the two that you would say get the last two roster spots in the bullpen?
I think it's definitely, I think Jake Bird is definitely one of them. I think it's hard to argue that.
Yeah. Yeah. I think it would be him and maybe Javier maybe I would agree. I think Javier
has got a really good chance. I think they're going to want to see him at the major league level.
The only thing is he, again, all these guys have minor league options available.
That's right. They're not pitching well. The Yankees can send them down to work on things.
Again, with Jake Bird Lescher, they show they're not a freak to do that. So I don't think that's a
crazy thing to kind of keep in mind too. If these guys don't work out, they can send them down. But
I would say this too, just to draw out there. I don't think their bullpen is as bad as people have
kind of said to start the offseason. Like throughout the offseason, people were complaining they
haven't gone after bullpen arms. They hadn't really improved the bullpen. I don't think this bullpen
is as bad as people think it is. It's not right. Like Bednor having a full year, Bednor
maintain USA. He's one of the better relievers in all of these. I feel like Doval having a full year
also and working with the Yankees in the offseason and working on things. I think we'll
vote well for him. Winquest has also not been passed double A. By the way. Yeah, but they love
but they love him. Like they are they are obsessed with him. So I mean, we could I think he's
going to move up real quick. Um, Doval is an interesting one. And we should do a breakdown on
Doval at some point. But his people forget because Yankees fans tend to forget because of how he
finished up the 2025 season. They kind of have a sour taste in their mouth on Doval. Don't forget
how good he was in San Francisco. He also had the tendency to be up and down with them as well
because I have a friend who is a Yankee fan and a Giants fan. I guess the Giants are her
NL team. So she kind of warned some of us about Doval. She's like, in case you don't know, in case
you just see the highlights from him, he does have a tendency to be kind of up and down. But when
he's good, he's really good. Yeah, they acquired him for stop. And you know, I think again, it's
the bullpen is not nearly as bad as people think it is. It's just not. So I'm intrigued with this
pitching staff, the pitching department as a whole. I think they've done a really good job. And
this feels like one of the first years they really let Map Lake have full control of what they
were doing starting last deadline of they're getting they trust Map Lake so much. It's bringing
guys who he thinks that he can fix who he likes their stuff. He likes their analytics that he
has full control with the pitching department. I think that's a real big key to the one thing I'd
like to change though. Give Map Lake in in-game control of what he does with the pitcher,
somebody does things with them. Don't leave that to Aaron. There's nothing wrong with splitting
divide here. Nothing wrong with doing that. There's nothing wrong with having Map Lake have more
than an insert on when guys should be putting games. What lane they should be used in. I don't
think, you know, does that make sense to you? Don't go out there and ask Map Lake his opinion on
guys that he likes the deadline. And he has guys he likes who should be called up when who should
be. And then when it happens to the game get going. We don't trust him when it comes to making
decisions on the sixth, seventh, and eighth in it. You know, trust him there too. So I would I would
change that a little bit, especially because Aaron Boone kind of has a track record if not operating
the bullpen very well. Right. There's experience there. All right coming up team USA is stacked
and we're talking about it next. Guys college basketball is nonstop. There's big games tight

in the every day or club content will be going up very shortly. I did say baseball is back and it
really is because we watched team USA debut for the first time of the spring uh playing a game out
at the Giants facility against the San Francisco Giants which is really hard to say because
they got to borrow Giants players later in this game the USA got to extend the game to 11 innings because
it really was at exhibition as exposition you can possibly be so they played they played 11 innings
of baseball uh it wasn't tighter and going into extra innings they just get the team USA requested
they get 11 innings because they just wanted more time to get out there and play uh the Giants
allowed that the Giants also lent them players because the USA team didn't want to play all their
players throughout the entire game it was one of those kind of things so when I opened up the
sports app that I was looking at earlier today and I looked at this lineup I don't know if you
did the same thing did your jaw kind of drop a little bit when you saw with the lineup looked like
um well no because I expected it but it's still like when you look at it you're just like wow
could you imagine a regular season team having that stack of a lineup? I mean there's potentially
seven Hall of Famers in this lineup it's it's that good so leading off was Bobby with Junior
batting second was Bryce Harper batting third was judge batting fourth was Kyle Schwarber batting
uh fifth was Alex Breggman batting sixth batting sixth was Kyle Rally seventh was Roman Anthony
eighth was bar and bucks and it was Bryce Tarang I mean that's absolutely ridiculous oh not to
mention Paul skiing started the game right it went three innings mode guys down I had four strike
outs you know if we run in the first inning uh it was ridiculous oh by the way the first two
guys with their bench they see Gunnar Henderson uh uh P. Cora Armstrong pretty ridiculous uh
pretty ridiculous how good this team is um Roman Anthony also hit a ball to Mars uh that was
I don't think the things landed I it's hours later as we're recording this and I don't think
that thing landed yeah he's he's one guy that we should that you know we'll be rooting for
for the next two and a half weeks and then hating for the next 15 years because right he's going
to be very very good so he's gonna be so annoying I could feel it in my bones yeah so team USA wins
the game 15 one uh they dominated this game in every way possible they did bring in a lot of
their bullpen arms as well Benar got some time uh so that was pretty cool to see um again they
played like not to watch his he also got to watch his brother pitch for the Giants which is pretty cool
yeah yeah so um and again towards the end of this game the Giants for unlemming players over
to team USA so they could feel the full team because they don't want to have these guys playing
11 innings it was a whole thing but um judge also had a two run single in the first inning
now it's pretty cool to watch um this is going to be a lot of fun like when these games get started
on friday for real for team USA this is going to be an unbelievable amount of fun to watch when this game
actually counts and they have these nine guys on the field for this like it's going to be ridiculous
to watch in my opinion like I'm super excited the closer and closer we get just to what when especially
when they again it'll be really good when we get to that the championship rounds and it's
Japan to make a republic like that'll be really great baseball but stacey these early these early
rounds against Brazil I mean crazy when though those some of these teams don't even have major
leakers on them right so it's going to be really wild to wind up watching um did you see the
speaking of the WBC to uh Canada played their exhibition against the blue jays and lost
the blue jays won the game which I think is insane to me like that is just thinking about that
is so crazy to me like and the Yankees this is what's crazy the Yankees played the Giants who
actually have major leakers on their team and the Yankees the USA played the Giants and who
actually have major leakers on their team and USA won the game 15 to one I don't know lost
it's Ronald blue jays something about that is wrong and should not be and the blue jays aren't
fully manned either so right some of them are in the WBC on various teams so yeah not not featured
on Canada by the way Freddie Freeman not playing for team Canada which is crazy because he usually
plays there every year um the Yankees speaking of which I just mentioned them I it's in the funny how
I confuse the Yankees and team USA I just got those two mixed up right there yeah um that's how
my I guess you can you can call me a homer for this episode for sure the Yankees beat team Panama
11 to 1 that's pretty impressive on their part uh we've saw the debut this spring of John Carlos
Stanton which is pretty cool if you saw it it would it's stringed nowhere these games nowhere
it's hard to watch nowhere I saw I only saw a video because uh John Brophy who's been on the show
has a bit on a while but he uh takes pictures and videos at games so I got to see Stanton's
at that the first one where he hit the 114 point two mile an hour ball I guess his elbows are
feeling okay or okay enough for him to swing the bat but not open a bag of chips so you know
what's crazy too is I said these games were hard to find streaming wise they were hard to find
information on yeah the box scores weren't even available everywhere very uh great job
imageally baseball promoting this thing it's as always they do a tremendous shop promoting things
yeah no I I here's the thing it's 2026 okay at this point I wouldn't care if you put a camera
at the top of the ballpark and just showed the entire field like you're watching a taped
literally game or like a high school baseball game and you just have the crowd noise
but I got to watch a game I'd be happy with that I don't need people talking to me just I just
want to see baseball yeah so too much to ask apparently yes um so yeah as we said Stanton uh hit the
absolute leap out of the baseball everything seems normal on that and um Max Fried pitched and he
was quote unquote fine three walks but again he's ramping up it's the start of his spring would not
take anything that he does uh seriously whatsoever like don't you know about uh Max Fried doing yoga
on the field before his starts because I know is he one of those guys he was in a pose that I've
never been able to do because I don't have the arm strength to hold up my entire body with my arms
but he was doing I can't remember what the pose was but I saw a picture of it and I was like um
Max are you okay and someone said oh no he does yoga before he starts I was like oh interesting
I've done yoga I just can't do it I can't do advanced moves I'm not strong enough for that
really um I've never tried yoga I've had a very big interest in trying hot yoga I really want
to know just what everything yoga is not easy at all because there are certain poses where you're
literally holding up your entire body with your arms like like the air you know certain moves
where you're just like I could do downward dog I could do um what's that one move that you go
downward dog and then onto your belly and then up like a snake I can do that but other things
no oh I could do tree pose too yeah but yeah he was doing yoga I thought that was so funny I was
like oh and on the field like I thought these guys would be doing that in the clubhouse before the
game so I I was wondering that because a lot of these guys have done this in the last couple of
years um where grounding has become a thing that I don't NFL players do it a lot where they
so they walk around barefoot you feel the earth in your feet they also have grounding they have
grounding mats if you live in an apartment and it's not really like grass it's just like a rubber
mat but you're grounding yeah I don't like it um but Christian Walker, Marcus Strowman,
Sean Maniah, Mike Talkman, Nick Costiano's are just a few guys who uh rice Harper doesn't
ease into all that nonsense he does the ozone he does red light all that stuff he should be
rice Harper spends an insane amount of money on his body per year it's it's it's sickening
but rice Harper is actually very very very into peptides he's like campaigning that all
baseball players should get to use peptides and they want to get me started on that I have a whole
rant about that stuff well he hasn't used them because I can talk about in uh
our bonus content that will be put it up for the all access members of the everydayers club
well there you go great blog right there shameless uh I will say um there you're not allowed so he
did say he he's not taking peptides because he's not allowed to so and I it would I would be shocked
if rice Harper tested positive for something he doesn't seem like one of those guys um but speaking
of testing positive for things uh next segment gerickson pro far uh we got to talk about him
yeah we're we're going to talk about that just quickly uh Ryan McMan played shortstop and he'll
do it again on Thursday he went two for three JC Escara went to for two with a home run and uh
bebas your bit bebas there you go three runs driven in for the Yankees one on a sack fly and two on
a single so good for them they had fun against Panama Panama didn't have fun but the Yankees had fun
all right coming up as Brian said gerickson pro far doing something truly unbelievable we're
going to talk about that next guys I am more than thrilled to be talking about our show sponsor

an update on france is golden door met shortstop he's again not playing in wbc was four insurance
reasons prior to him getting hurt but he did he was one of the guys that suffered the hamate bone
injury um he's been taking part in baseball activities uh but today was well yesterday was the
first time that he actually played catch so that's a good sign in the roads recovery they do want to
try and get him available for opening day that to me seems a little over zealous but hey if they
can get him there uh good for him and good for them it just seems like it's a little optimistic
in my head that's like three weeks from now yeah yeah he had the he had the surgery on February 11th
this is the first time that he's playing catch since he got a stitches removed i think he should be
more careful i think maybe if he starts like two weeks after opening like maybe mid mid mid mid mid
mid april that wouldn't be that much of a loss but don't give it i don't think they should touch him back
yeah yeah it's there's no need to rush someone back in baseball there's never a need especially
early on in the seas i mean season is so long it's i mean and he's so pertinent to their success
yes like they need him in the lineup so i would not i would not don't want to screw that up
yep speaking of the guys that i've got that screw things up big time um jerks and pro far
pops repeat these once again uh he it it is confirmed he has a full year suspension majorly
baseball suspended him for a full 162 games um just to pull the curtain back a little bit
stacey literally wrote in the rundown what is wrong with him that was the actual question
it's ridiculous it's the second time he's been popped for testosterone growth hormones which
you're a professional athlete and i'm sorry like the if you've seen the brave's new facility by the
way not even in Florida in Atlanta that he has access to a year round yeah how could you not
just like get involved in working out they've got private chefs they test your blood work to know
like what protein shake you should be eating um any meal you could possibly want at any time
personal trainer is everything at access to you can't you couldn't even imagine how much
access these players have to modern day fitness what are we and like also too it's so much
rarer now that a guy actually gets popped for PDs right stuff never happens anymore like it's usually
lower level guys like you hear about minor league guys getting popped for PDs like but at this level
especially twice how are you doing it again how are you getting to the point where you're getting
suspended an entire season now you're gonna miss out on 15 million dollars this season it did
you not want to be dh is this what you did to not put to not be the dh i'll give you a perfect
example like i don't think anybody should risk their career when it comes to that kind of stuff but
but let's use just from a Yankee reference right a guy like i you just said players in the minor
leagues i get it when it's the minor league players when you're a fringe like someone that i could
totally see using PDs again not accusing anybody of doing it or having any information whatsoever
i wouldn't be shocked if Spencer Jones got popped if he was like three years and years and years
i'm sitting in the minor leagues and trying to get up and trying to get up and thinking that if he
takes PDs maybe i had 50 home runs in triple i next year and Yankee's having an option but to call
me up not saying he's doing that insinuating at all you know another guy that wouldn't surprise me
at all again not insinuating things chase Hampton that would explain a lot to me like like he's trying
to get back from Tommy John surgery if he was this close to making the major leagues and then you
find out that he's taking PDs to get back quicker kind of like what Andy Pettit did when he got
popped years ago it just those things would make sense to me at a minor league level when you're
trying to make the major leagues and it becomes it's so important to get your chance because
hey getting wally pipped exists in baseball there's a reason wally pipped played baseball played for
the Yankees so it does you know that kind of stuff makes sense you miss time and those things can
get you back quicker that makes sense if you're jerks and pro far you're going to be the starting
DH for the braves on opening day what are you doing like and you got caught once you got and you
knew the next suspension was going to give you 162 games right why it doesn't make any sense what
whatsoever and i'm i'm sure I am he hasn't spoken on this yet but i'm like 99,000 percent sure
that he's going to come out and give you some BS excuse of he didn't know what was in whatever
he talked and he nonsense stop it these guys know exactly what they're taking yeah you what
these how much these guys take care of their bodies nowadays these guys know exactly what they're
putting into their bodies down to the microgram of everything so i don't want to hear it anymore
about they didn't know he took if you're dumb enough as a human being right to take something
that someone gave to you and you don't know what it is right they know so like i don't want to
hear it if if he's that dumb and took something that some random stranger handed him and it had
to sauce the road then you know what good for him you do deserve to get suspended for the whole
year and if that's not the case and he willingly took it double stupid because again you've already
been suspended for PDs taking this again i mean give me a break too yeah when i saw that come across
the wire otherwise known as social media i just thought to myself again what are you what what are
we doing it's 2026 this shouldn't be happening now i can see it happening 10 years ago 15 years ago
guys getting popped because we did see it but yeah i just i couldn't believe it when i saw it and i saw
33 years old too like like it just right right this is oh man just i mean i hope he comes out and
says something but i hope it's not a silly excuse like i want him to own it he needs to own it
i'm sure i'm sure i'm sure it'll be some stupid excuse because they all they all give the same
stupid excuse like every single player that's ever been popped gives the same BS rigor run around
of you know i didn't meet or i didn't meet it but no one ever apologized by the way it's always
a mistake i took something i didn't know this that the other enough and like you and you know
testosterone is against is against being able to be taken in baseball right that's one of the most
popular PDs you know you're not a lot this feels like mani remira is again
yeah i said you know i don't you don't i'll give many more credit many didn't care like many many
just kept taking them and then we just face suspension and come back and have 150 rb us like he
didn't care if jerry i would have actually like now that you bring that up i'm glad you did
i would have so much respect for jerks and pro bar if he just came out and said yeah i took
him i'm gonna take him again i don't care like that's pretty well that's pretty much what
mani did mani got popped and was like yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna many i think did steroids during
the suspension just didn't care and then came back had 50 and 140 and then got suspended again
and then came right back and he doesn't care and you know what i have more respect for that
like i do you know just like do you know i actually i say that publicly
i don't give me started on that either that might have to be a bonus show as well because
if you want to hear my thoughts about certain things uh the all access level of the everyday
club which we're slowly rolling out uh go to locked on yankys.supercast.com we're going to give you
a lot of bonus content that is only available to you guys and we're going to have fun with this
yeah we're gonna have some of that episode because we don't really get fun to talk about that
yeah i should really break down the steroid error because it really just highlights the
stupidity of mankind it's at certain points i mean some of these guys you really just want to shake
them and be like what were you thinking it's hard for us to process adds like regular people
when these guys have tens of millions of dollars in the line and they still go take the steroid
like charix and pro far is forfeiting 15 million dollars this year i can see certain guys
feeling the pressure of having to keep up with the contracts that they have in an order to perform
and in order to get back from an injury quicker like i kind of understand from that point of view
but there are a lot of times in terms just like guys what are we doing here like what do you oh like
i get it i get it from anti-penetizing i don't think he gets exonerated like i think like yes he did
use steroids he did it's unfortunate but like yeah i get why he did it and like i believe him like
he did it to get back quicker that makes sense to me he wasn't doing it's trying to throw 150 miles
an hour like he was doing it just trying to get back to baseball um this is dumber than dumb again he's
forfeiting 15 million dollars the billion dollars that is so much money it's crazy it makes no sense
i don't get these guys at all also i want to give one uh harsh opinion that i think you're
gonna disagree with before we close out here um mac surezer releasing this like letter that his
daughter wrote for christmas to try and get like everyone's calling like the cutest thing ever
oh we wrote on the show the other day yeah no i don't think it's the cutest thing ever
like i i think it's like the cheesiest cornpone thing i've ever seen like writing a
writing a christmas letter begging for your daddy to get a million dollar job like yeah i'd like
to ask for that for christmas too like give me a break i didn't find a cute i just i'm just
gonna throw that out there maybe people gonna hay on me for it i don't find his daughter asking
for him to make a major league roster to be like the cutest thing ever and conveniently he puts
this out after he gets signed that it becomes public just give me a break this guy's a future holo
