- How can you celebrate it and end the time with a smile?
If your focus is on the celebration, the less drama you create with your relationship with food and fitness. Now, I'm not saying that you get to throw in the towel to healthy living. But I am encouraging you to be reasonable with your personal demands. If you keep putting up boundaries that you know are not attainable (for whatever reason), then you will never get to where you want to be with your health. So take a page out of mom's book, and focus on what matters in the bigger picture. The K.I.S.S. ~ Focus on what matters in the bigger picture! Our minds are not made to be told over and over again what we can't do. You and I desire freedom, especially when it comes to what we like. The food is pretty tasty. Maybe the workouts aren't grand. Yet, we still torcher ourselves in thinking that we can eat what we want if we exercise a certain way. But, that just squelches our inner desire to be the best both inside and out physically, mentally, and emotionally. You can't do what you aren't willing to commit to. It doesn't matter how many carrots you dangle in front of yourself; it will not happen! So escape the drudgery of the typical fad start times and focus on what matters in the bigger picture.
