As a child, I remember sitting on the living room floor with my sister, surrounded by stacks of my mum’s glossy magazines. Scissors in hand, we’d cut and paste (the old-fashioned way!) our favourite images onto paper. Without realising it, we were creating our own version of the modern day ‘vision board’.

Now, I’m very practical and strategic when it comes to goal-setting. For a long time, I dismissed the whole concept of vision-boards as fluff and frankly, a bit ‘woo-woo’. But as a certified coach, I’ve learnt how powerful it is to create a clear vision -- albeit in my own structured, logical way! 

Yet so many of us dive into goal-setting without considering the big picture.

This is like trying to plan a journey without a final destination point. Because if you don’t know WHAT you’re working towards, it’s impossible to figure out the right strategy to get there.
