What is going on, everyone?
Welcome back to another episode of Beyond the Table.
And today we are kickstarting a brand new series here on the 32-beat riders YouTube channel.
And that is Fixing the Franchise.
And I know you've heard Fix the Franchise from other places most notably probably.
And if I'll stock exchange, though, I hope they don't mind me, you know, taking most
of the name.
But Fixing the Franchise was something I also did on my own personal YouTube channel.
But specifically, I want to shout out and I'll make sure that his Twitter is down below
and this website.
Stick to the model.
Like I've had the guy who runs this website has been tweeting at me to use the mock drive
simulator for quite some time now.
And frankly, then he, I saw this and that it's an entire, you know, be the GM.
You get to simulate an entire offseason, free agency, franchise tag decisions, trades.
And there's a mock drive sim at the end of this.
So I've been wanting to do this for a long time.
And now I feel like with stick the model, stick to the model, there is a site that is capable
of actually giving us what we want.
So I'm going to be going through all 32 teams and alphabetical order.
So we're going to start this series with the Aura, Zona, Cardinals.
So let's go ahead and you can see kind of where you select your team and then you start
managing the cap.
We have $39.2 million at this present moment.
And then there's going to be some smart suggestions in here too.
So like guys, you can just cut and it'll help you out here.
For example, like Sean Murphy-Bunting, he's probably going to be one of those guys that
bikes the bullet here, but then also restructure candidates, kind of a marine, big conversation
around him.
Go to Baker, to be just draft, kill down, and replace it with that Josh Sweat, guy they
signed last off season.
That's probably a guy that will go ahead and do that with extension candidates too, right?
Some of these guys like Marvin Airson, Jr. Michael Wilson, definitely, certainly guys
we're going to consider giving that option too.
And then we have tag options.
This team doesn't have a whole lot of great franchise tag candidates to be completely honest
with you, because these guys won't make quite as much as the franchise tag would normally
dictate.
But yeah, so shout out to stick to the model.
I think this is an awesome website, and if you're a team building geek like me, this is
TaylorMate for you, and all you do is make an account, you get to make, you know, three
tokens a day basically, you get to do it three times a day for different squads.
And I also want to challenge you, if you see this video and you're like TJ, it doesn't
know shit about what the Cardinals wants.
I give you the opportunity.
It's a free website.
All you got to do is sign it, sign up with your email.
Not that hard, no cost.
If you think you can do a better job rebuilding the Arizona Cardinals, let's see it.
Push your money where your mouth is, not even have to put your money on it, but literally
go to the site and prove to me what the perfect offseason looks like for the Arizona Cardinals.
But all right, let's go ahead and jump right into this.
And I will say I have not looked at this whatsoever in regards to the Arizona Cardinals.
So we start with, oh God, what do we want to do here with Kyler Murray?
And I will say like I would, you know, trades are right here.
So I'll have to come back to that later.
I will say it is kind of tough to think about like who is trading for Kyler Murray.
I have been struggling with that this entire offseason.
I don't know who that team is.
And also the Cardinals are in a spot where what other quarterback option is out to that
better, you know.
So in some ways, I'm kind of like, and you just ride this out for one more year, I think
we might.
But we'll see.
We'll see.
Josh went, I think, is definitely some more we're going to go ahead and restructure.
We get a standard or we add avoid year, which creates a little bit more money.
But I think long term, I'm going to be responsible here.
And I'll just make it the standard restructure.
So that puts up to $44.9 million.
And I have to see what his contract actually looks like.
I'd be willing to take the void year for him.
It's not really a new difference.
So sometimes you just do these three structures and teams will do that year of a year.
Buddha Bakers, the one where it's like, frankly, it's probably another trade candidate
here, 29 years old, probably get a little something for him.
And also cutting him only saves $4.9 million.
So it's okay cap savings, but it's not a whole whole lot.
Uh, Jonah Williams, yeah, he's gone.
He's gone.
I don't even say the cut option.
So he must be a free agent.
But yeah, Jonah William Stockham, you know, almost football team.
You can cut down on Thomas and save $9.3 million.
So we're going to cut Calvin Thompson, James Conner.
I hate to do this, but to save $9 million, you got to do it.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Baron Browning, one year left, we would save $5 million.
I'm not too eager to get rid of any password shoes that this team has just because, frankly,
I would want any and all password assistance that I could possibly get considering this
team is a whole lot of like kind of open there.
So I'll leave Baron Browning for right now.
Where are we at with this Paris Johnson extension?
The one downside is I wish I knew the current contract.
Here we go.
He's got one year left.
So yeah, like this is a guy that they're going to have to extend.
I'm not really worried about the restructure component of this, but they're going to have
to pay him.
So let's just extend Paris Johnson.
Blown nickels.
And now we're at the point where like, yeah, okay, saving $6 million for Blownnickles.
Sign me up for that.
$4.4 million for saving Collins.
That's where it's tough because the team needs password shoes.
Whatever they have, Baron Browning, brother, I have saving Collins.
It feels unnecessary to have both.
And then also Jacobi were set, say, $5.4 million, like I said, I haven't thought about
any of this.
This is tough.
This is tricky stuff.
All right.
Well, let me start with $30 million.
The 30 years old, say, $5 million, buy by Evan Brown, say $5 million for a team Davis
Gator.
Yeah.
All over that.
Sean Murphy bunting, saving $7 million all over that.
McWillson, he's a five football player.
I'm willing to take it for right now, $1.9, $1.8, half a million, $1 million, $1 million.
Okay.
So we pretty much at this point, Garrett Williams, Garrett Williams, he's good.
He's a good slot player.
Frankly, I don't want to further extend him.
I'm not really too worried about the restructure.
How much does that save us?
We need to keep kids safe online.
But some special interests are sending policymakers in the wrong direction, pushing
the so-called App Store Accountability Act, demanding government ID from all users just
to download an app, replacing parents' judgment with government mandates.
It doesn't even stand up in court.
A better bipartisan bill, the Parents Over Platforms Act, would put parents in a driver's
seat, empowering parents and businesses to keep kids safe without drowning all of us in
red tape, tell Congress to get it done right, and put parents over platforms.
Paid for by ACT, the App Association.
America leads the world in medicine development.
It matters.
We get new medicines first, nearly three years faster.
Five million Americans go to work because we make medicines here at home, and not relying
on other countries keeps us safe.
But China is racing to overtake us.
Will we let them?
Or will we choose to stay ahead?
When America leads, America cures.
Let's tell Washington to keep us in the lead.
Learn how at AmericaCures.com.
They say you should learn something new every day.
Like how you should only drink Yeager Meister at zero degrees Fahrenheit.
Ice cold.
Like those frozen cavemen they find, which makes you wonder, what would a caveman think
of Yeager Meister?
Well, if you served it more, he'd probably throw it in your face, say, and storm off,
and nobody wants that.
So drink it cold, or not at all?
Yeager Meister.
Damn, that's cold.
Drink responsibly, Yeager Meister will cure 35% alcohol by volume imported by mass
Yeager Meister.
US White Plains, New York.
I'm not really sure it saves us anything to be completely honest with you.
If anything, it makes the cap it looks like it goes up.
Cost 4.2 more.
So yeah.
What if we did extend only?
No change.
So yeah.
Extend here at Williams.
We definitely want to extend Michael Wilson.
And this is just kind of like more future proof stuff.
This isn't really anything that's going to necessarily correlate to anything we're going
to do in this video.
But yeah.
Let's go back.
For just tag.
The real question is like, I don't know what I would want to do with these quarterbacks.
Okay.
I hit on all the obvious guys.
I think they're extend Michael Wilson, Paris Johnson, cool.
So then really quarterbacks for this comes down to like, what do I want to do with this
quarterback situation?
Kyler and Jacobi.
Oh, man.
If I cut Kyler, I'm literally not saving money.
I'm getting $3 million off the cap.
I did post you one.
Now we're talking 47.9 million dollars in cap savings.
Let's do that.
Let's do that.
Apparently because I just don't know who's going to trade for him.
I don't know who's acquiring this cap it.
Cornel fans, let me know because my initial thought was Cleveland, but you already had the
John Watson contract over your head.
So do you really want to do that?
No.
Tammy?
They got the two to a tag of my lower contract over their heads.
Are they going to do that?
Probably not.
Pittsburgh, you know, maybe, but I also don't really see a whole lot of similarities with
quarterbacks.
Michael Carthy's worked with.
So and then like Minnesota, maybe.
So yeah, we're going to do a post June one cut and then boom, $125, $122.5 million.
And we still have Jacobi percent on a roster, not ideal by any stretch of the imagination,
but could it work?
I think it'd be fine.
So a whole lot of money to work with now.
Let's go ahead and jump into free agency.
Well, first, actually, we got trades.
I'm not really looking to move on from Garrett Williams, definitely not looking to move on
from Michael Wilson.
Elijah Hagen's for pick one 51.
I mean, we got trademark pride and we got.
Tip Rhyman.
So I think I'm fine with that.
I don't think the extra swing of the bat.
I'm also looking to move from Josh Downs.
I'm not too worried about that.
I said, Michael Wilson, the Falcons would be sick for the Falcons, but I'm not really
so sure about it for us.
Michael Wilson, the chargers.
I'm good on that.
Chargers.
Washington wants to give us more.
Sean Latimore.
I'm totally fine on that.
Any other trades?
No.
Any other ones?
I guess we're just declining all these.
That's tough.
That is tough.
Yeah, Garrett Williams is too good of a nickel player to get rid of him here.
Michael Wilson, the 49ers, Michael Wilson or Garrett Williams to Seattle.
I'm good on that.
Michael Wilson to Seattle.
Dax Hill.
But for pick 60, first day of the third round, former first round player, though, that's
interesting.
Would we play in that, and they're calling him a corner.
They're calling him a corner.
So it would be Will Johnson, Garrett Williams.
I don't hate it.
It was $12 million against the cap.
Diane Henley from the chargers is interesting.
I'm not looking to really give up two picks for it.
I'm certainly not looking to get Grover Stewart.
I'll let the Colts cut that contract in their own time.
Dax Hill is the interesting one.
Dax Hill to this Arizona Cardinals team to pair up with Will Johnson.
You know, frankly, I think I'm going to take that.
And then we'll extend and restructure, which saves us $3.6 million this year.
Let's do a three-year extension.
Yeah.
Save just $3.3 million.
Let's do that.
Boom.
So we give up pick 65.
But we also got 151 in the Elijah Hagen's trade.
So we hope a third, 151, that should be about a fourth, no, fifth round pick.
I'm content with that little bit of slide back, considering the jump in from like Titan
3 to like, that guy's going to play an outside corner roll for us in Dax Hill.
So that's what's exciting about this, man.
Like you look at all these different possibilities.
And like, honestly, it's overwhelming for me to look at because like, there's still
so much for me to do.
I'm good on Sterling Thomas.
I'm good on that.
I'm good on Zomda Knight.
Chad Ryland.
I'd like to bring that Chad Ryland, but it's like, it's fine.
Write a first for Fusil.
Let's do that.
Let's do that.
All right.
So then we get to Reagency.
And like the one thing I will say is like, I wish I could see my roster at this point,
which there might be a way to do that.
Death chart.
Here we go.
Let's look at our current death chart.
So Jacobi, obviously not great.
Running back, we got Tray Benson and not much else.
Corey Conner is a decent, late round guy.
Michael Wilson with Marvin Harrison Jr.
And then we were kind of got an opening there at receiver three.
Offensive one, I think we could at least add a left guard.
We need to add a right tackle.
Switch over to the defense.
I think we could use another edge rusher.
Could use another interior defensive lineman, like a true nose tackle.
Could use some linebacker help.
And then I'm kind of like in corner now.
I feel pretty good about.
And then Max Melton, who I also like to come out of the draft and Elijah Jones from Boston College.
So between Will Johnson, Daxiel, Elijah Jones, Max Melton, two of those four guys should
hit it outside corner.
I think you're at one.
This is a really solid nickel.
Bootabaker is getting up there in age.
We just decided to hold on to him.
He's a good football player.
And I don't love the idea of taking down three.
You could, but it just feels like you're getting cheaper in younger at that position.
Which is fine.
But like, you know, I don't know.
The thing we could look at is let's go back to previous, build your own.
Let's see.
Player or pick.
Out of player.
Baker.
Bootabaker.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Who could use bootabaker?
Trying to think about like, where's Jonathan Gannon coaching now?
Johnson.
Cannon.
Jonathan Gannon is now in green Bay.
I don't think green Bay needs.
Need to safety like that though.
Sentin' Addie may be the Williams.
I don't love doing an Intervision trades.
Who else could use the safety.
Maybe Denver.
Maybe Philly.
I don't know.
My Amy, if they're looking to shop, Mink.
I don't know if they're then trading for another safety right behind it.
Lions Kansas City Buffalo, Jacksonville, Dowsman, Minnesota is interesting.
But what are they going to offer?
And they don't have a whole lot of picks either.
Let me just look at what players, do they have any redundant players that we could take
advantage of?
Not like that.
Any redundancies in the roster that I think we could use on ours, now I'm not really
seeing any clearly honest with you.
And Jonathan Allen, I'm good on that.
DeLine, Hardgrave, Levi, yeah.
No, no, it's okay.
You know what?
And frankly, we don't have to get rid of bootabaker.
The cap, it's not ideal, but it's not the end of the world that we're holding onto a good
football player.
It's really not.
So let's go on the free agency.
Jonathan Williams, I'm good on.
Not bringing him back.
We're dorked.
I'm fine with that price.
Like, he's a good enough football player.
I'll keep doing the one-year, same thing with Collage Campbell.
I'll keep doing the one-year song of dance with you as long as you want to keep playing football.
Thierry and Hall, Kelvin Beacham.
I'll bring back as a cheap swing tackle, but I will lower this down to five million flats.
I'll pay the 5.9, you win.
All right.
And I think that's, I've seen me feco, and now we're good.
Channing, Tindall, I'm good.
Jonathan Knights, Restricted, Justin Jones, good.
Today, Jones, I'm fine.
Will, Hernantan, I'm fine.
Michael, I'm fine.
Yeah.
Okay, cool.
Now let's get to the real fun stuff.
All right.
So, a quarterbacks to the big one.
And really, this is, I mean, there's not really anything out there.
That's really going to help you there when it comes to the QB market.
Not really looking to go out of my way for Mitch Vysky, you know.
Malik Willis is interesting.
That would be the one guy.
And frankly, the brother connection, I'm willing to, at least give it a go.
I'm Jan and Aaron Rodgers, where did I just, I just saw Malik Willis, just saw Malik Willis.
Let's go out for Malik.
And he's making more than this.
He's making way more than this.
So I feel like I'm cheating a little bit, but he's going to, he's, he's making at least
$10 million a year.
So at least I'm going to try to stretch it out as much as I can.
Let's go with two-year deal, flat, and we'll make that offer.
And boom.
Now we have our new quarterback, Malik Willis.
And again, it's going to be at least twice that, to be completely honest with you.
And it looks like, yeah, for two years, cool.
So now we have a quarterback under roster, under center.
Cool.
Let's go ahead and take a look at what running back options are available.
Greenhunt, Breeze Hall, K-Walk, both did make it.
We go doubtful to pair with Trey Benson.
It's an interesting low cost option.
28.
I feel like the tread on the tires are starting to get there.
Javancei just got resigned.
So I'm not, I'm going to ignore that.
Travis ETN feels like he's a chief probably.
Reshaud whites the other one.
And I'm trying to thank Holdon, Cornel's offensive coordinator.
Yeah.
Nathaniel Hackett's coming over with Matt with Michael Ford being a primary play collar.
So it's going to be, it's going to be a little bit of a zone in gaps.
That's where like, Benson could be your zone runner.
Reshaud white could be your gap.
I don't hate that.
Plus the pass catching value he brings to the table.
I also think Chris Rodriguez could be that kind of guy exclusive rights for commodity
that all.
Najee Harris is up there for super cheap.
So what if we did this?
What if we gave a one year offer to Najee and then a one year to reshaud white.
And now I'm looking at four rain backs that I'm content with.
One of them were going to blow the doors off, but like four guys I'm pretty content with.
I wouldn't mind a receiver three.
We still got 79.1 million dollars to play with.
And I'm trying to think strategically, really, I'm looking for a guy with speed.
That's the one thing we're kind of lacking out of this receiver room.
So looking for a guy to take the top off the defense, I don't think it's interesting,
but that's just, that's a lot of money to pay for that one specialized skill sets.
When we could get it from Jalen Nailer, could get it from Marquis Brown, bring him back
to Arizona, Kirk, Tolbert, Taikwan Thornton.
Is it Taikwan Thornton?
My grandad, his best bowl came with Patrick Mahomes, so that makes me a little hesitant.
Calvin Austin's interesting.
DeYami Brown.
It's DeYami Brown.
It's DeYami Brown.
Let's go get DeYami Brown.
He's only 27 years old.
Getting for $2.3 million.
Here, I'll even bump it up to $2.5 million a year.
Yeah, $5 million for two years of DeYami Brown to be a vertical field stretching guy off
of Michael Wilson and Marvin Ayers Jr.
signed me up for that.
And frankly, I'm not done.
This is a really deep receiver market.
Tyler Wallace or John Metchee.
I'll go with Tyler Wallace just to get the return value to one more kick returner on
the roster.
Now, let's go look at offensive line, offensive line, definitely going to spend a lot of time
here.
Because we need, frankly, a right tackle on a left guard minimum, right tackle on a left
guard minimum, cave maze, Conor McGovern, Tremaine Illumidor, a little old.
But for a one-year guy, just to give us a little bit of a floor, don't hate it, Isaac
Samaloo, to be the same thing at guard.
I'd love to go up to Tyler and her bomb, but he's going to get it back.
Chris Paul, Ethan Postage, Josh Jones, Fred Johnson's a decent swing tackle.
I don't hate that.
But I'm not paying up $15.
Go lower, $15 million.
And then Neil, I'll take a one-year flyer on for that cheap, and I'd play in that guard
to be completely honest with you.
I'll do it just for that.
Haven Stein's long in the tooth.
Brain Smith is interesting, but I'm not really looking to jump on that aging bandwagon.
Cameron Robinson, I don't hate it as a third guy, maybe we can come back to that.
But I think the move here would be Illumidor.
I can go for a two-year deal, and he will either play guard or tackle for us.
And then one more ounce of just to be sure, I'd hate to do the Jones Williams, but I might
have to.
Where do I just do Isaac Samaloo?
Because right now, yeah, that would not be the case.
Dremain would definitely be our right tackle, and then that would put Evaneal probably
as a guard.
And we did bring that Kelvin Beach and was a swing tackle, so that's a good point, too.
So Illumidor, let me get one more guard, just to be sure.
Let me get one more guard.
And it doesn't have to be Samaloo because I don't really want to pay $10 million for
a 33-year-old.
Who else is pretty cheap here, Hoffman?
That's just a lot of money for that position, man.
Good Lord.
Josh Jones.
This is the former tackle, right, Josh Jones?
I can form a cardinal, so I won't bring him back to let him go for a reason.
I don't rise, and I don't really love Trevor Penning for cheap as a guard.
Could work.
Asha Zudu, Sean Ryan could be, Sean Ryan's interesting piece.
Let's go with Sean Ryan.
Let's go with Sean Ryan.
I'll go with two-year deal.
I'm not going to do the 11.
What was it at?
I'm going to do two eights, two eight five, 8.5 million per year.
I'll walk away and then I'll come back.
He wants 11.
I feel a lot better about it at 10.
Kind of giving him the John Rundin contract from a few years ago.
Okay, cool.
And he's played guard ancestor.
So that's some nice flexibility there.
So basically, perfect role, Paris Johnson Juniors, my left tackle,
Jermaine Illouin, who was my right tackle.
Sean Ryan's probably my center.
Evan Niel's playing one of these guard spots,
and then Isaiah Adams is the other one.
I can work with that.
Where it's Sean Ryan,
Frodehole at center.
Evan Niel at right guard.
I think I can work with that.
All right, let's take a look at the defense now.
And I'm also trying to keep in mind like you spend so much,
and it doesn't necessarily hurt the cap so much this year,
but it will affect it in future years.
So I'm also trying to keep that in mind,
and I do it too crazy with how much I'm spending here.
So honestly, I'm pretty good with the secondary.
I think Daly and Daly and Taylor Demerson's a good football player.
We can still get through to Baker.
We get out of third safety.
Cateron Crawford is not a bad football player either.
Four young corners I like.
Linebacker and edge.
Linebacker and edge.
I'm not also ruling out Jordan Burst,
Darius Robinson.
Hopefully, this guy's taking another step forward.
And we need a nose tackle.
Let's go get a nose tackle and we'll start there.
Oh God, guard to help us stop the run.
Let's see.
I mean, Jalen Redman would be nice,
but not necessarily entirely sure that happens.
Stream on Jones from Ravens.
Logan Hall for cheap from Bolt from Tampa Bay.
I don't hate that.
Could honestly do a couple of signings here.
Go with Roy, or sorry, not Roy.
Go with Logan.
And then maybe go John Franklin Myers.
A little bit of both.
Sheldon Rankins keeps my good football.
He likes, ooh, DJ Reader could be interesting,
but he keeps battling injuries, man.
He makes me nervous.
Makes me nervous.
That puttler's not a bad show.
Just like a run stopper up the middle.
And frankly, given what is left,
Tim Settle, Tim Settle.
That's your run defender.
What your deal?
Seven points, you did a little rich.
Let's come down to earth here.
Fine, you win.
Seven point two.
And then I am going to go after,
I'll go after what's his face for cheap.
I'll jump to Franklin Myers.
I'll go after Logan Hall, 26, $5.3 million a year.
I'll make it a two year deal.
There we go.
So we've got a couple of other pieces
on the interior defense plan and holds a tweener
so we can kind of move him around wherever we need.
So I like that a good bit.
And we could use Edge,
got another 38.5 to work with.
How could even Mohamed's already been extended?
Quity pays an interesting name for this team.
So it was a Daffy O.A.
Clown Ferrell.
And Keir Bernad, Jacob Martin.
Actually, you know what?
Other than Jalen Phillips, like Jalen Phillips
was getting way more than $7.8 million a year.
That's, he's getting more than that.
Sam Williams is interesting.
Boy in Moffey.
I could get down with, I could get down with Boy in Moffey.
On top of Josh Sweat,
Jerry Robinson, Jordan Birch.
Let's go to Boy in Moffey.
Well, one year deal.
Boom.
Oh, and then that leaves us with Linebacker.
I'd like to get one more Linebacker.
And then let's see what we can do with that.
Dendell Perman.
I have a lot of, what do you mean, Pratt?
I mean, yeah, not a whole lot of guys.
I inspire a ton of confidence, Devin White.
Leo Shinol is the guy.
Leo Shinol is the guy and Kobe Dean,
but $11 million or $10.6 for Devin Lloyd.
Devin Lloyd is the best Linebacker available.
Holy cow, no shot.
No shot.
At least you shouldn't.
Devin Lloyd or Leo Shinol.
Lloyd wants less.
So frankly, I'm just going to play the system here
and we'll go with Devin Lloyd.
We're going to sign him.
20 out of them with three year deal.
$10.6 per boom.
There we go.
Now let's go ahead and look at some updated charts.
Yeah, I'm feeling a whole lot better about that.
Feeling a whole lot better about them.
We still have save and callances.
This kind of sweatshirt.
I mean, I can do a little bit of everything.
And frankly, my mission here is we now get to go
into the draft, which is next up
without any clear and obvious position of need.
We get to just go best player available.
We get to solely draft.
What we think is the best guy on the board at that spot.
So here's a seven round mock draft for your
Arizona Cardinals fans.
Cardinals fans, let's hear it.
Ah, the simulator.
Steal on an idea I have for our future mock.
But this leaves us with some interesting options.
So looking at our depth chart, catch a Kobe.
Got your events in the shot.
Why not here?
These are one of your deals.
Keep in mind, we could also explore trades Houston
to get 28, 38, 59.
And that's interesting.
We're going to get 842 from New Orleans.
That could work.
842 and then we still probably get one of the tackles.
Well, I think at this point, that's probably the best bet, right?
Like I'm feeling fine with the linebacks we have.
We could definitely go styles or Reese here.
But I'm okay.
We just got Devon Lloyd.
And we signed your main aluminum.
But your main aluminum work could also be a guard.
And I'm completely content with that.
And then Evan Neal was just kind of a one year flyer.
So do we want to go CC Moe Noah?
Frankly, I kind of like that St. Trade.
Yeah, I'm going to do that.
I'm going to accept the St. Trade.
We're going to move back to pick eight.
Saints take our Vell Reese.
Interesting.
We're entitled to Spencer Fondo's off the board that leaves it
with CC Moe Noah.
Boom.
Kind of shades of the Paris Johnson junior move, right?
Right?
We're going to move back a little bit.
It gets more ammunition.
Now we get to pick it 42, which is also nice considering
it gave up pick 65 in the Jacks Hill trade.
So fantastic.
We get to see some of the other names one off the board.
There goes Casey Concepcion, Colton Hood.
Now we're on the clock at 34.
Maxi Hennacher is still here.
So we could have waited.
But man, you make me a warring.
Lee Hunter.
Lee Hunter might be tough for me to pass on, man.
I know they took Walter, Walter Nolan last year,
but man, that's a fun football player.
But McNeill Warren, he's interesting
because then we could trade boot a Baker at the deadline
if we really wanted.
So you know what, that's going to be the right.
I go, I'm going to go, let me just double check.
I'm not missing anything claring and obvious here.
I mean, I'd love to go Cooper Junior.
Chris Johnson's a lot of fun.
But yeah, no, I think Emmanuel McNeill Warren.
We do that and that basically opens up the door
and that that will get there.
But in the event that like we're a four-win football team
or three-win football team in the deadline,
we could move on from Lee Hunter just went.
We could move on from boot a Baker in that event.
Christian Miller's interesting.
Christian Miller's definitely interesting here
to get that true nose tackle.
We move it on from Dalman-Thompson,
12-class Campbell, Logan Hall's kind of a tweeter
to your deal, Tim Cells, a one-year contract.
Let me make sure there's no other D-Lime
and I'm forgetting there.
Okay, cool.
Edge always could go more edge too.
Like I'm not like in love with what we have way in Maffa
plus Josh Sweats a little interesting.
But it's, you know, far from done.
This is a deep edge group.
I almost wonder if we could just wait a little bit longer
on that.
The other spot would be like inter-office of line.
To be want slash, whew.
Bessonthus and Pregnod both there.
Those are interesting.
Both a little bit more zone fits than probably gap.
But it's gonna be a little bit, it's gonna be a blend.
Oh man, man.
It feels like it's probably gonna have to be Bessonthus.
Brian Sean Ryan, he can play center of a kneel
probably gonna be a guard for us.
If I go with one of those offensive linemen
or would I go Christian Miller?
I think I'm gonna have to go offensive line here
and it comes down to Bessonthus or Pregnod.
Let me double check my board.
I'm just gonna go best player available between those two.
And I think that's ultimately gonna be Pregnod.
Yeah, Pregnod just a little bit ahead.
But let me just double check one thing with the manual Pregnod.
I just wanna see what is his gap blocking grade.
You can give me just one moment to check this out.
Run blocking, sorry, this is taking way too long.
Run blocking, yeah.
I mean, well, I guess, you know, actually,
to give credit to Oregon, 41.9% of their runs last year
were zone and 48.5 were gap.
So interesting.
Interesting, interesting, interesting.
No, in that case, let's go with manual Pregnod.
He is the top guard out of those two.
I would go Pregnod over Bessonthus.
So let's go with manual Pregnod
and just get one more piece on that offensive line
for the long term.
Don't think it's interesting.
And frankly, I wish I had gone theme and over.
I mean, you'll make me a Warren, but, you know,
it is what it is.
Both, I like both those guys have done.
So Bessonthus then goes to Houston.
That also makes a lot of sense.
Tennessee gets back to back pick 65, 66.
And that should mean, got a couple more selections here.
Just like Trotter just came off the board.
That would have been a nice guy to fall into our laps.
All right, when's our next pick?
Let's see.
Okay, so we're through the, through the third round.
So no more third round picks, pick 104.
Okay, Scralth is still here.
He's gonna be a guy that goes in the top 100.
I don't expect him to be there to be completely honest with you,
but we've got two players on the offensive line.
And then we went with the safety.
This feels like the edge spot, right?
Get a little bit more juice.
And I know he's still got Jordan Burr,
if we run and play him off, I understand.
But that being said, I think we still could get one more guy.
We're like a no-stackle, if we could find one.
Team Stuttle's not a long-term fixture for us
in this situation, Dante Corleone or Tim Keenan.
We're Sean Benning, kind of a single gap,
one gap penetrating a high-level run defender.
Oh, go with the Godfather.
Let's go get a two-gapping no-stackle there at 104.
Just kind of, we're raising the floor of this team, really.
You know, we're gonna be better in the trenches,
couple of offensive line picks,
now a couple of additions between free agency
and in the draft on the defensive line.
We're just raising the floor of this team slowly,
and surely.
All right, then that will mean our next pick.
It's 141.
Cool.
141.
Here's a recap of what we've,
oh, this is a recap of everything.
You never mind.
Come back to that later.
All right, let's take a look at the entire board.
What's still here?
If it's trading stucs,
that's gonna be tough for me to pass on
as is to John Stribling.
Oh, two of my guys.
Oh, don't look, TJ, don't look.
That's gonna be hard for me to pass on
some of those dudes specifically stucs.
But I feel like we've done enough
with that secondary, man.
All right, let's just keep looking.
CJD Anos is also interesting.
Trey Zoon would be an awesome centerpiece moving forward.
A third pick on the offensive line.
We really need to do that.
I don't know.
We haven't got running back yet.
There we go.
Let's take a look at the running back well.
Seth MacGown's a fun player.
And my boy, Jamon Clayborn.
So we've got Clayborn,
Rashad White, Najia Harris, Trey Benson.
I'll trust my rankings.
I'm gonna go Jamon Clayborn.
Just bring a little bit more juice to that offense.
I like that a ton.
And frankly, Benton missed a lot of time last year.
And I'm also a little concerned about his vision.
Last year, I thought he would pull away
and be the clear cut, best running back.
And I felt like his vision was pretty inconsistent.
So like what he is, it's a running as a receiver though.
But okay, cool.
Moving on, we can look at the quarterbacks here,
tailing your in-cake club, and they call Peyton.
Like I don't hate the cool Peyton shot in the dark.
We could do cool Peyton.
I don't hate that.
Let Michael Ford draft and develop a guy.
We got Malik Wallace for two years.
Let's just see where we are with Cole Peyton in three years.
I'll find out what that.
Both the Texas A&M guys come off the board and act so get cool.
Cool, cool, cool.
Definitely could have been a trade zone spot.
Definitely could have been a trade zone spot.
Now we're getting down to the wire.
Get down to the wire, man.
How many more picks we got?
Two more picks.
Two more picks.
What have we done so far?
Clayborn, quarterback, safety.
Move line twice, D line.
Okay.
Cool.
Well, that kind of leaves us to go just truly best player available.
Like whoever kind of catches your eyes here,
I'd probably go with Daddy's Dixon.
I think we could just still probably add one more corner.
And I think he's worth the fifth round swing,
or sixth round swing of the bat.
I thought he was pretty good.
At the senior bowl, specifically day two and three.
Culture claw, maybe on moss, don't hate that.
So looking back at our depth chart here.
Anything glaring that I missed?
Run and yummy brown.
So we could take a swing of the bat
when it comes to like wide receiver,
but I don't think we absolutely need to.
And then defense haven't gone edge yet.
What edge rush was available?
Quintay was Hutchins, I'll tell you what.
That guy popped the senior bowl.
I don't hate that whatsoever.
I don't hate that whatsoever.
Kishan James, we did not get a combine invite,
but he was really nice to the Shrine Bowl.
Yeah, let's just go get a pass rusher.
Let's go get Quintay's Hutchins.
He was supposed to be the guy to kind of fill in the role
for Dom and Nazaroku, but first step and his bend, awesome.
So he's definitely a single flavor of a type of edge rusher,
but damn, if he's not an interesting one
to add to the mix of Josh Sweat,
boy and mafia, we added in free agency Jordan Birch.
So he's just a different flavor, really,
than the guys we already currently have.
But yeah, that should be it.
Boom, there's our offseason grade.
We got an A minus future outlook five,
in that part, I guess we didn't do too hot on,
but nevertheless, here's an overall summer,
and here's an update to look at the depth chart.
Really, we're looking at Jacobi Berset,
not, he's not easy me to back up.
Malik Willis is gonna be our starter.
And then the running backs,
what you don't see is Najee Harris,
plus who he just drafted,
who was it running back, running back, running back,
hold on, hold on.
The mongolay born.
So we've got a good stable of backs,
and the other advantages with one year contracts like that,
like if we decided to move on from Najee
and also a Corey Kiner, undrafted free agent.
You probably have practiced squad guys.
So our four in the backfield would be Clayborn,
Harris, Najee, and Wright.
So that sounds like an awesome four-sem in the backfield.
signed the Army Brown and free agency
to go along with Marvin Harrison Jr.
and Michael Wilson, who we extended.
Jumayna Luminor has been claimed.
Probably Wright guard in this situation.
Parrish Johnson Jr. plays left tackle.
Sean Ryan would probably play center.
Evan Neil at left guard.
Manuel Pregnant at right guard.
C.C. Moie Noah at right tackle.
Calvin Beacham is a swing player.
Defant, boy, a Maffe, an opposite of Josh Sweat.
Jordan Burke probably becomes the third guy.
Dears Robinson is this tweener
can play inside and out.
Logan Hall just to give another tweener body type.
Tim Settle plus Dante Corleone.
Some options for the early and down run defense.
Plus Clayis Campbell, franchise legend.
Let's just keep bringing the back.
He's playing good football at foreigners' snaps.
And then Walter Nolan hopefully
take a step forward in year two.
And then the linebackers, I feel a lot better
with just having Lloyd be in the middle of that.
He would be the Mike.
And then Mack Wilson would probably move over
that will linebacker.
Actually, he probably, yeah, he'd probably be the will.
And then Cody Simon is the Sam and we're Owen Pappo.
But frankly, we could keep trying to address that position.
And the corners, you know, my box is in the way here.
So I apologize for that.
But, you know, corners, we made the trade for Dax Hill.
So, and we drafted Thaddeus Dixon then in the sixth round.
So we've got Will Johnson.
And we've got Max Melton, Elijah Jones,
Dax Hill, Thaddeus Dixon.
All kind of competing for that outside corner spot.
Garrett Lambs, Key Trail Clark, then in the nickel.
And then safety is bootabaker for right now.
But we did draft Mano McNeil Warren as the, you know,
peace to be able to move on from bootabaker.
And then we still have Deidre and Taylor Denverson
going into year two.
So, and then you look at, so here's the dead money in 2026.
So it would be 20 million dollars.
Nothing that restructures couldn't fix.
And then 2027, negative 51.
And, you know, part of that is also a bootabaker.
And right, like bootabaker is going to come off the books
by 26 and then 27.
And that would free up a lot of this money.
So I'm not really too worried about any of this
to be completely honest with you.
So, that does it for our first fix the franchise going through.
Here's all the moves I made.
Here were the cuts.
Here were the restructures.
Here were the extensions.
And then here's the trades we made.
Restriction tenders for Chad Ryland.
And then our signings in free agency.
On top of the draft picks that we made
for the Arizona Cardinals.
