335: Guardians of the Galaxy, Riders Republic and the Warner Bros Metaverse

This week we have a lot of reviews coming your way. First, we travel to the galaxy far away for Guardians of the Galaxy. Created by Eidos Montreal, this game takes you into the shoes of Starlord. Does it live up to the high expectations of the movies? We also play the full release of Riders Republic. We had a blast despite some flaws and a horrendous story. Lastly, we play a little Age of Empires 4. This is the long-awaited successor to AOE3 and it hits some of that nostalgia, albeit missing the mark in a few other places.

In the news, we discuss all the new features in the upcoming Halo Infinite Campaign and talk about what's going on with Blizzard again. From delays to reworking BlizzCon, a lot is happening. We also talk about the backlash behind Marvel's Avengers, Spider-Man coming soon and of course Facebook is now Meta.

In the topic of the show, we discuss a leak regarding an upcoming fighting game that could feature Warner Bros. characters. Could we be seeing a new Smash-like game featuring characters like Scooby-Doo, Rick Sanchez, Batman and more?
