340: Xbox Series X vs. PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Acquires Activision Blizzard

In the news, we talk about Blizzard’s upcoming survival game and upcoming Star Wars games. Hyperscape is also shutting down and we look at what this could mean for the future of live service games.

Our topic of the show is on Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. It’s a huge purchase for nearly 69 billion dollars. With it they get Starcraft, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Call of Duty and much more. What game franchises will we see revived and what will go exclusive? What does this mean for Playstation?
