故事大概是這樣的：胖貓小時候父母離異，自己和外婆住，到中學又一個人去外地讀書，沒交到朋友，性格變得很孤僻。畢業後沒上大學，就靠當《王者榮耀》的遊戲代打維生，一局收費20元。然後有一位大他六歲的叫譚竹的姐姐關注到了他，接近了他，兩人開始交往。從小缺愛的胖貓，整個人迷了進去，一心一意都撲進了這個愛情。但兩人是遠距離，譚竹又說要經營自己的花店，於是交往兩年多，胖貓給譚竹先後轉了51萬人民幣，自己卻蝸居在簡陋的租房裡，吃一餐10塊錢的外賣，兩人也居然沒見過幾次面。
