460. Shia LaBeouf: A Timeline of Trouble

0:30to another episode beyond the blinds, as always it's me, Kelly Williams. And Troy McKee-T. And today we're gonna talk about the many arrests involving Shia LeBuff, along with just a few scandals. We do have a blind item episode about Shia from Get Ready For It, 2022. So it's been a while. Jesus. Now that we've like redone this show, I just think episodes like this are important. We've done one for Chris Brown, Kanye West, Tray Songs, Jared Leto, and James Franco. So I think throwing Shia LeBuff into this mix just makes sense, honestly. And it's really crazy doing this research and I love your opinion. I couldn't stop thinking about how we should talk about Shia LeBuff the same way we talk about Chris Brown. But the way Shia LeBuff has talked about, he's like, oh, you know, his shenanigans, he's always up to something, he's such a kooky artist. I'm like, no, he's a violent bad person. It should be talked about as such. I mean, we're gonna get pushed back on this episode. You get a lot of pushback about Shia.

1:30Yeah, totally. There are Shia defenders. And even when we talked about him and the kiki, you know, these past few months where he's just been like out doing crazy shit all over LA, people like violently defend him. Yeah, people love Shia. And it's because of like even Stevens. It's because he's also a great actor. And he's almost like a Sean Penn, where you know he's really, really bad. But if he's in a movie, he's gonna be really, really good in it. Yeah, I don't know. I just feel like you and I live in a very, like two things gonna be true world. And it's okay to say that a person is good at their job and not a good person. Right, exactly. But yeah, there was this time article from 2016 that just kept calling all of his arrests shenanigans. And he's a troubled star. But when it comes to Chris Brown, people are like, he's a violent, awful human. And like so a shy of a. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

2:30Mm-hmm. Ooh, this is gonna be interesting. So that's how we're starting the episode. So you can only imagine how crazy this is gonna get. And I do wanna let you guys know we are gonna go in depth about the FKA Twigs situation. So we are gonna be talking about like abuse and domestic violence too. I just wanted to give you a trigger warning at the beginning, but we start with the LA Times. And also this reminds me of Fred Savage a little bit because he started really young doing really shitty things and not getting in trouble for them. So he got away with a lot. So in 1996 at age nine, Shia LaBuff grew up in LA's Echo Park and was arrested on suspicion of stealing a pair of Nike shoes. He revealed in a 2015 essay and he was released after six hours. And then in 1998, he was arrested at 11 for stealing a Game Boy from a K-Mart a fact that the actor revealed in the same 2015 essay. And once again, he was released after a few hours

3:31and then two years later, he got his first role on Even Stevens. His major breakout role, I guess you'd say. Can I just say how much I love it? Like now any bad little boy, we always use Fred Savage as the example. That episode really imprinted on me. Because like what the fuck? Like I've never heard anything like that before my life. So now it's like yeah, anytime I hear about a little boy that's like misbehaving and just think about him. Shia LaBuff, a Fred Savage Chris Brown hybrid. Yeah, literally. So then in 2005, Shia was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Good Lord. So it says in February of 2005, LaBuff was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after he hit his neighbor's car during a road rage incident. LaBuff allegedly ran his car into the back of his neighbor's vehicle because it was blocking his driveway. After the collision, he allegedly threatened the neighbor with a kitchen knife. Yeah. And I will say, I mean, I guess speaking of Fred,

4:32you always think about like kids being abused on set or being given substances and things like that. But you don't ever really think about just the idea that these kids are like not being disciplined. Just base level kid stuff where it's like, these are kids that are being taught that they can do literally anything they want and that any adult that gives them pushback is like a fucker and you can fuck with them. Right, any adult that gives you pushback, you get them fired. Yeah, and you can. Like you have the power to do that. So now we're gonna start in 2007 where you guys might remember some of these stories, not all of them, because I sure didn't. But this is again from the LA Times and this is when Shia was arrested for trespassing. Actor Shia LeBuff was arrested in downtown Chicago early Sunday after allegedly refusing to leave a Walgreens. LeBuff, 21 who came to fame on the Disney Channel's Even Stevens and recently starred in box office hits such as Disturbia and Transformers was arrested

5:32around 2.25 a.m. at a store on North Michigan Ave, Chicago police spokeswoman Marcel Bright said, a security guard summoned police after LeBuff who stars in the upcoming Indiana Jones sequel refused several commands to leave the store. The guard signed a complaint against the actor who was cited on a misdemeanor count of trespassing. LeBuff was taken to the near North police station in Posted Bayle at about 7 a.m. I guess we should say like from millennials, this hits so different. Mm-hmm. Like I wonder if younger people have any concept of what he means to us. Yeah, is this like a very specific millennial celebrity? It could be. I'm trying to think of like what a young person. No, I think yeah. Maybe Transformers though. Yeah, that's true. But like Disturbia was like my Bible at one point. I used to watch that every week. I was obsessed with that movie. No, like he was our little like, oh, he's gonna be a list.

6:33Like he's so good that he's gonna be like a little Leo. Exactly. Cause he was. He's a great actor. He's incredible. He really elevates any movie he's in. He even elevated even Stevens. Yeah, I did. Oh, so this is from CBS News. This is from 2008 and reference to Shia being penalized for smoking, not in relation to the incident in Chicago. Shia LeBuff could pay a hefty price for smoking. A thousand dollar bench warrant was issued for the 21 year old actor after he failed to appear in court Tuesday on an unlawful smoking charge. The Transformer star was cited last month. He was scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles County court house Tuesday on the misdemeanor offense. But neither he nor his lawyer showed up. According to the court documents filed Tuesday, the document did not contain details on the circumstances or location of the offense. A message left with LeBuff's publicist was not immediately returned. So then the outcome of the smoking incident

7:35was in March 18th of 2008. He was supposed to appear in court for the citation. Him and his lawyer didn't show up. So they issued a thousand dollar bench warrant on the 19th his attorney appeared a day late. He pled not guilty on Shia's behalf and the thousand dollar warrant was recalled. So then the thousand dollars wasn't a fine that he paid. It was the amount of the bench warrant and then on April 24th, the unlawful smoking charge was dismissed. Unlawful smoking. Like where are you smoking at a church? Where was he? We have no idea. My guess is like a school or something. That's the only non-smoking area I can think of. I mean, Carrie Bratchell to smoke up in a cold sweat. Like the queen of smoking in an appropriate place. Carrie Bratchell smoked in a horse stable. Right. About all that, hey. That's funny. So now we're gonna go to July of 2008 and this is his DUI, which was a massive deal in 2008

8:38because not only was he drinking and driving, he smashed his hand in a way that they had to write his injury into one of the transformer movies. Do you remember that? Yes, I saw. So this is again, July 2008 from the LA Times. A lot of this is from the LA Times until it isn't, basically. Actor Shia Lebuff, who starred as a motorcycle riding greaser in the latest Indiana Jones film, was arrested on suspicion of junk driving early Sunday in Hollywood after he and two other people were hurt in a crash. Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies said Lebuff made a left turn and collided with an oncoming car at about 230 AM at their intersection of La Brea and Fountain Avenue. The actors Ford F1 pickup truck rolled over in the crash. Lebuff injured his left hand and was taken to the Cedar Sionine Medical Center for Surgery, according to Sergeant Kristen Aloma of the Sheriff's West Hollywood station. Lebuff's passenger and the other driver, both women, were treated for minor injuries and were released.

9:39Shia Lebuff, 22, was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication Aloma said. He was cited for misdemeanor, drunken driving, instead of felony drunken driving because the injury suffered by the others were minor, she explained. Lebuff's publicist, Melissa Cates, declined to comment on the arrest. His attorney said he was recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return on the set of the Transformer sequel within one month. They declined to comment further. In November, Lebuff was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing for ignoring a security guard's command to leave a wall green in downtown Chicago. He later told David Letterman on the late show, drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping, it's just bad. So he just made a joke about it. And prosecutors later dropped the case because the drugstore chain in the security company declined to press charges, but the aftermath of his DUI, the actor wound up getting hand surgery because he refused to take a breath test. There was not enough evidence to convict him

10:39and charges were dropped, though he did lose his driving privileges for saying no to the breathalyzer. Lebuff has had previous brushes with the law, but each were relatively harmless and associated press story set at the time to the point that they reinforce his image as a Hollywood good guy with an edge. So I can't get over that that is how they're talking about child Lebuff. A good guy with a little bit of an edge, like he's not Justin Bobby from The Hills. He's like bad. We also just talk about like DUI culture from when we were young. I mean, my guy, like everybody in like O-A-O-7 just used to get DUI's like every other day. Like it's crazy how much Uber really did change that. And I don't know if you remember like people would always say, like why don't these celebrities just get like a driver? Like that was like a really common thing. Like why don't they just pay somebody to drive them home from the club? And I still feel that way because I feel like us regular people use Uber now

11:41or whatever and the celebrity still get DUI's. I know it's like you guys, there's Uber black. Right. And there's probably an Uber for like celebrities that we don't know about. You know, there's an Uber helicopter pad like near me. Oh my God. And I'm literally obsessed with it. Like sometimes I go smoke weed and watch people board it and I'm just like this is insane. You are wealthy enough to get an Uber helicopter. How do you feel about helicopters in general? Would you ever go on a helicopter? I don't think so. It's just a little too rickety. It's too fish or price for me. What about you? If you had asked me two years ago, I would have said yes. But something has changed in my brain. I'm like, I have so many travel issues. The last thing I need to get into is a helicopter. You and Blair jump from a helicopter for the wedding. That's how we arrive. Like Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl. I'm like, there they are.

12:44Oh my God. So let me jump to February of 2011. This is his first of many bar brawls. If he only knew how many were to come. Truly. My God. Maybe they wouldn't call him a good guy with an edge. Right. This is from TMZ. Shilobuff was placed in handcuffs after a fight at a bar last night. But was eventually released TMZ has learned. TMZ always says that. TMZ has learned from who? From the who? It all went down at Mad Bulls Tavern in Sherman Oaks. Sources at the bar tell TMZ that Shia is a frequent patron of the establishment. According to witnesses, he got a little rowdy and ended up getting punched in the face. Sources close to Shia paint a different story. They say that Shia was jumped on his way out of the bar. They say that police arrived on the scene shortly thereafter, cuffed everyone involved, and eventually they let Shia go. Police have no record of any arrest being made.

13:46Sources close to the actress say the security guard at the bar backed up Shia's version of events. I'm sure Sources close to Shia said, he's in the security guard agreed. Oh my God. This man loves to fight at the bar. Oh my God. He really, really does. And this randomly reminded me, do you remember when Chris and Liam Hemsworth got in that crazy bar fight? Yes. Was my introduction to Chris and Sources? I forgot about that. Great paparazzi photos. Great photo. We should do an episode about celebrities getting in fights at bars. There's so many. I almost did a celebrity arrest grab bag of just a bunch of celebrities who've been arrested. And I should have. No, that's for that. Maybe I'll do it. Maybe I'll do it for Patreon. It's coming eventually, everyone. So this is from ABC News. This is from October of 2011. Shia getting punched during a different drunken brawl. Actor Shia, above's wild streak,

14:47emerged early this morning during yet another incident involving alcohol. In a video obtained by TMZ, the 25 year old Transformers actor got punched on the sidewalk outside of a bar by a guy in a white t-shirt, by a man wearing jeans. Radar online spoke to an eyewitness who said, Buff had to be quote, pulled away from a bar patron around 12.30 a.m. in the cinema, public house in Vancouver, where LaBuff is filming the thriller, The Company You Keep. Oh, I love that movie. He got into a confrontation with a couple of people. The witness told Radar, he took a few punches to the face. He was obviously pretty intoxicated. The video shows a man smacking LaBuff in the face while another man on crutches hobbles over and tries to break up the fight. Jesus, Lord. The bystanders tried to calm down LaBuff who paces quickly back towards the bar. Better lay low, one of them says, you better lay low right now.

15:48It's good advice for the hot tempered star whose weed delinquent streak was chronicled by GQ in 2008. The same year TMZ reported LaBuff was arrested on suspicion of DUI. In this February, he was involved in a bar brawl at Mad Bull's Tavern in Sherman Oaks. So how crazy is it that by 2008, there was already a chronicled GQ article about all of his weed delinquent streaks. Like, if this was a black man who'd be written about so much more differently and it's really made me upset, like I can't stop thinking about it. It's because he's white and cute. Mm-hmm. And you can always tell when the media is just not completely willing to give up on writing about him being a hunk. Yeah. They're just not there yet. So they're like trying to make excuses and make it seem like it's light-hearted. And yeah, if he was black, he would have been done. Well, do you think it's because where did this come from? This came from ABC News. Like, ABC is gonna be at the Oscars and so is Shia LaBuff.

16:51So they have to be at least a little careful in order to get him to come over to their microphone. Oh, I think that there's definitely like an interest in like, you know, at this time, he's still real bankable. Yeah. You know, he's a big, huge star. Like, we're still looking at him as somebody that has like a crazy future ahead of him. Mm-hmm. They don't want to burn the bridge, you know? That's a good point, yeah. So in February of 2014, Shia was accused of plagiarism in Time magazine put together a whole list of 14 times that he blatantly plagiarized someone. So it's not like exactly arrests, but I would say this is a big scandal. And I didn't pull all 14 examples. I just grabbed a few to highlight it. But again, this is Time magazine in 2014, writing about all the times Shia LaBuff has plagiarized other people. What? I'm very, very locked in. So the first one was his apology to Alec Baldwin. And I almost pulled an article about that, but I couldn't confirm that Shia LaBuff hit Alec Baldwin

17:53even though a lot of people were saying that, because they were supposed to do a Broadway show together and Shia dropped out like two nights before the opening. Oh my God, I remember that being a thing. So in February of 2013, LaBuff quit what would have been his first Broadway show orphans due to quote creative differences. That is, he couldn't get along with Alec Baldwin according to reports. LaBuff decided that the best way to explain his departure would be to tweet out a photo of his email apology to the cast in Baldwin by name. Unfortunately, part of his prose sample, A Man Owns Up, A Man Grasps His Mistakes, was ripped off for Badam from a 2009 Esquire article titled What Is A Man? So that's the first and people magazine were the first to notice that. So he also plagiarized his directorial debut. So his first short film, HowardCounter.com,

18:55premiered at the May 2012 Cannes Film Festival. It wasn't until it was posted online on December 16th, 2013, that viewers began to notice that the film was almost an exact adaptation of a graphic novel by Daniel Klaus, best known for ghost worlds. And Klaus told BuzzFeed, which brought much of the story to light, he said, the first I ever heard of the film was the morning when someone sent me a link. I've never spoken or met Mr. LaBuff. I've never even seen one of the films that I can recall. And I was shocked to say the least when I saw that he took the script and even made many of the visuals from a very personal story I did six or seven years ago. And then he passed it off as his own work. I actually can't imagine what was going through his mind. In April of 2012, LaBuff announced his intention was to become a comic book writer and artist at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. He said that the process was like singing in the shower. It's very free and without edit. But it turns out there was a reason why the copy was so clean.

19:59On December 18, 2013, news broke that many lines from his self-published 2012 books, Let's Fuck In Party, in Staling, Mate, were lifted from Charles Bikowski in Benoit, Deteri's word. There's something very James Franco about all this. It's very James Franco, right? Like the douchey guy that thinks that he's just like this unbelievable artist that you could never possibly understand. And it turns out he's plagiarizing all of his shit. Right, his acting's very much his craft, but he's also like copy and pasting stuff. Totally. And the thing about men like him that really scare me aside from the fact that they're like violent and dangerous is like because they're attractive, you know, they use their looks to like be sinister. But even worse, like I think about Shia being

21:02with these female artists and like breaking them down because he's not as talented as them. Because he's not as talented and he's like threatened by like just how it just pours out of them. And it just makes me really sad to think like, you know, we could have lost FK8 twigs as an artist. Like, at first, while she could have died. Right. Because he got a killder, but we could have lost where as an artist and you think about like Mia, like we love Mia got so much in the thought of her like losing her artist because it's loser, you know? Like he loved every second of that. Yeah, he was obsessed. As if she wasn't already going through like a really difficult time. Like you had to do that. Yeah, Shia is just, I don't know. I don't know what he's very James Franco, but almost worse in my opinion. And I ended up like when he was terrorizing New Orleans, the way Ezra Miller did to Hawaii, I got served some TikTok of Shia just sitting at a bar staring at a girl. I was like, that's one of the scariest stairs I've ever seen in my life. I do think that he's worse because he's so unhinged. Like James Franco is like a lunatic, but he seems like he's like at least a little tethered to reality. Shia is not at all. Like Shia is not walking playing it earth with us at all.

28:14I guess we don't know that James Franco has been violent. We know that he is definitely an advantage of situations, but I don't know if he's been violent in those situations. Yeah, like Shia just feels extremely unhinged, extremely like a bomb ready to go off at any moment, you know, and then when you see him on the street, he has, I'm not only going to say this without being offensive, he has like crazy person that you would see out in LA. You crossed the street if you see him on your side of the street. Yeah. Yeah. Like he's very unhinged. Did you see the video of him confronting his stalker? Yes. That was wild, too. Yeah. Like he's so scary. Is energy? Yeah. He's like, you're scared me. And I'm like, Shia, you're scaring literally everyone. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ice hunter. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, so then we jumped to June of 2014. Shia is arrested during the Broadway show Cabaret. This is from the LA Times.

29:15The article is from September of 2014 because it talked about what happened after the fact just to give you a heads up. So it says Shia above pleaded guilty to Zaytu disorderly constructs something from a June incident on Broadway in which he disrupted a production of Cabaret and went through a contentious arrest. Can you imagine being a play in Shia LaBuff ruins it? Oh, my God, Nymphomaniac. Oh, my God. That era, yes. Oh. I mean, this is when he was even in that music video and. Oh, was he? Yeah. Oh, my God. I didn't put it this, but if you want to talk about it, you can. OK. We will talk about it. It's all coming back. It's all coming back to me now. So the Nymphomaniac actor was sentenced to three more months of alcohol abuse treatment. He started outpatient rehab days after his arrest and will have the offense and the guilty, please scrub from his record if he goes six months without any trouble. God, the associated press reported.

30:17LaBuff was arrested outside of New York City Studio 54 after he drunkenly disrupted a June 26th performance of cabaret starring Alan Coming. Oh, my God. I forgot about this. Starring Alan Coming and Michelle Williams, he stood up in the audience, shouted and reportedly smacked Coming on the behind. I cannot believe I forgot about this. It's like hating me like a brick wall. He reportedly moused off to the police playing the Do You Know Who I Am card and spewed profanity and spit at them forcing the use of a spit mask. LaBuff was originally charged with two counts of trust passing, two counts of disorderly conduct, and one count of harassment in the second degree, according to the criminal complaint in the case. The former Transformers actor hopped on a plane to LA shortly after getting out of jail in New York and was subsequently photographed out in the public holding the big blue book of alcoholics anonymous. Shilah Buff is not checked into her rehabilitation facility, but he is voluntarily receiving treatment for alcohol addiction. A rep for the actor said days after the arrest.

31:20Oh God. LaBuff's next film, The World War II Drama Fury opens October 17th and stars Brad Pitt. Oh, yeah. I corrobor. Yeah. And just so you know, he's like 27, 28 during this time and he's still just getting slaps on the wrist. He literally slapped Alan Coming's ass and made a whole scene and they were like, can you just be good for six months and then we'll get it erased? I cannot believe I forgot about the Alan Coming's thing. I'm just like, at the time when that happened, I feel like I didn't think it was as big of a deal as I do right now. There. Yeah. And I'm just like, because I guess, because I've been to Broadway shows now. It's insane even when somebody coughs. Like when I cough at a Broadway show, I want to kill myself because I'm horrified. The thought of being at a Broadway show and Shilah LaBuff gets up and disrupts the show. Oh, like, and then gets put in a spit mask.

32:21I just can't believe it. Out of control. And also it was 2015 when he did Elastic Heart, that music video. Mm. Which, okay. It was just such a weird time for Shilah LaBuff's life. 34:24It's his first fight with Miyagoth. So just trigger warning ahead of this. And this is from July 27th of 2015 with his fight in Germany with Miyagoth. And this is from CBS News. Shia LaBuff and girlfriend Miyagoth were involved in a big fight in Europe on Friday evening. And ET has obtained exclusive video of the incident courtesy of nifinfo.com. And you can still watch the video. It's still up if you're interested. In the video Goth, who's in Germany to film an upcoming horror movie, according to local reports, in LaBuff, we're seeing yelling at each other outside a taxi cab by a hotel on Friday. The 29 year old LaBuff was wearing a baseball cap, T-shirt and shorts, then walks away and meets several German locals who offer to drive into the airport. After he gets into the car, Goth, 22, returns and takes his backpack, begging him not to go. I don't wanna touch you. I don't wanna be aggressive. This is the kind of shit that makes a person abusive.

35:25LaBuff tells Goth after he steps out of the car getting visibly upset. He is then heard pleading with Goth, now wearing his backpack to return it to him, repeatedly saying, can I just have my bag please? I just want my bag, please give me my bag. At one point during their confrontation, LaBuff is seen putting his hands up as she approaches him. Sometime later with his backpack, back in his possession, LaBuff makes a chilling statement in route to the airport. If I had stayed there, I would have killed her, he said. Appearing dejected, LaBuff says, it's really hard, bro, really fucked up in your heart. During the ride, LaBuff makes an unsuccessful attempt to face time Megan Foxx and starts to smoke. The conversation with the German men then turns into guns. I have no guns, one of the German locals says. That's not normal, it's Europe. LaBuff says in response, you can't buy a gun anywhere, you can't, the German replies to which the actor says, they don't sell them. When the German asks if he's heading to LA,

36:26LaBuff says, I'm going to Texas. It's unclear whether that was his intended decision. The group arrives at the airport with German locals offering to take LaBuff who seems to have sustained an injury to his hand to the hospital. He tells one of the men, you saved my life, man. This is a contract, you come to Los Angeles, I'll pick you up in my car, you come and stay at my house. LaBuff tells the guys, the day after the incident, Goth was reportedly seen with a black eye, German tabloid, pure stars reported. We will never actually know, like it's crazy to think that we'll never know what they know about how these girls, these women, like they have seen, if he's so scary in just like a three minute pop-rocksy video, right, can you imagine what he is like inside, like his home? The fact that he publicly said, if I had a state I would have killed her, oh my God, chilling. It is chilling, oh I hated that.

If he's thrown shade at Zara, Martin, I'm sure he's thrown some shaded Shia, his sister. His sister in crime. So now we jump to October of 2015 and Shia is arrested for public intoxication. That's possible. That doesn't sound like him. It's shocking. I really can't believe it. This is from TMZ. Shia Lovebuff was arrested in Austin, Texas, Thursday and witnesses say the actor was blitzed out of his out of control and disobeyed police. Shia was taken to the Travis County jail and booked for misdemeanor public intoxication. It happened at around 7.45 pm outside of a bar on Sixth Street. A witness says Shia was either extremely drunk or high on drugs when he ran down the street and J walked in front of the police. They warned him not to do it, but he continued acting bizarrely.

39:31Cops subdued him and put him in cuffs. Another witness tells us before the arrest Shia and a woman tried walking into a bar, but they were denied because they were too intoxicated. Shia began swearing up a storm and tried forcing himself into the bar, but was blocked. Shia and the woman left and began walking. Shia who's been to rehab has been dogged by substance abuse problems. He had a similar situation in New York last year where he was arrested after acting crazy at a Broadway play. He is in town for Austin City Limits Music Festival. And he was eventually released and didn't get into any trouble. Believe it or not. Jesus, it's like Shia put down the bottle. Alcohol in you don't mix. Right, and I love that his like new thing is he's found God and he doesn't drink and he's a good man. I'm like, how Russell brand is this? It is so Russell brand. And I know we're going to get to it eventually like him now, but like the comment, I have no hope for humanity

40:33when you look at the comment sections of those posts where he's talking about Christ. I know. It's like, are you guys seriously that easily break? Like all he has to do is mention that he's Christian and God fearing and then people are in love with him again. Right, it's like, so I can go shoot dogs, but as long as I say I'm Christian and God forgives me, it's okay. Right, are there any qualifications? You just have to say it. I am like, what the fuck? So now we jumped to January 26th of 2017 and this is when Shia was arrested on camera during his livestream. I don't know what's going on, but watching him like, just screaming and this is when he was doing art installation. Actor Shia LaBuff was arrested in New York City earlier Thursday after he got into an altercation with another man during a performance art project that has seen him chanting. He will not divide us in front of a live camera since Donald Trump's first day as president. Police said LaBuff pulled the scarf of a 25 year old man outside the museum of moving image in Queens scratching his face in the process. They said he also pushed the man who refused medical attention. The tussle happened on the seventh day of a live stream that LaBuff and two collaborators intended to have running 24 hours a day for the next four years. They have invited the public to reprieve the phrase, he will not divide us into a camera mounted on an outdoor wall. It was unclear whether the camera captured any of Thursday's confrontation, but it did show the aftermath, including LaBuff being handcuffed and let off by police. In the moments before his arrest, he issued a plea into the camera,

And this is from the Los Angeles Times. In July of 2017, a drunken Shia LaBuff was arrested around 4 a.m. in Savannah, Georgia after trying to bum a smoke off two men,

45:38one of whom was a police officer. During the arrest, he was captured on video berating the officers involved, including racist slurs and bragging about his millionaire attorneys. He was charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Afterwards, he told Esquire that what went on in Georgia while he was shooting the peanut butter falcon had been mortifying. White privilege and desperation and disaster, it came from a place of self-centered delusion. It was me trying to absolve myself of guilt for getting arrested. God, that was such a shy statement. He entered rehab shortly after the arrest and eventually thanked the officer publicly during an award show for hauling him in. See, the thing about him that also was different than a James Franco is that he's enduring. He knows it's like for every crazy insane thing he says, he'll say something very down to earth and relatable. And he's been doing it recently, like all those interviews,

46:41he did on that press tour just recently. He kept having clips go extremely viral because there were little moments where he would say something very relatable and very like, oh, he's so cool. He's like, as Theresa Judeis would say, heck, I'll njide. Do you know, that's why I don't like John Berthino or however you say his last name, Berthal, because he platformed Shyla Buff. He was the first, like, in a long time, to give him a platform again. And that is something I can talk with. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was weird. It was so bizarre. And I was like, you guys were in fury together. You don't have to be best friends. You're right. It was years ago. Yeah. But you are right. And I think like Shyya has talked so much about his childhood and his issues with his dad that people feel a lot of sympathy for him. I agree. I feel like he's sort of like, like all the stuff that you assume about child stars and how like, you know, it's like people put all of that on him. And all of those things are true.

47:42Right. But it doesn't change the fact that these people grow up to be monsters because of the system that they're in. Yeah, exactly. So we're not done yet. In fact, we are on page 16 of 26. Yeah. On October 2nd of 2020, Shyya is arrested again for battery and petty theft. And this is from NBC News. Actor Shyya LeBuff was charged last month with misdemeanor battery and petty theft over a June incident in which he allegedly fought with a man in Tukas Hat, according to the LA City Attorney. In the criminal complaint filed September 26th, prosecutors alleged that on June 12th, LeBuff willingly and unlawfully used force upon a man named Tyler Murphy in Stola's Hat. And nothing came of that. See, even like that, he does such dumb stupid shit. And it's almost like he does it like,

48:42I can get away with it. I can do this. Nothing has ever happened to me. So why would I care? He's very like in these streets too. He's always out in the streets of New York and LA raising hell, stealing hats. And it's like, what are you doing? Go buy a pack of cigarettes. Why is he always bumming cigarettes from people and fighting them? Like, he's so accessible. Right. And this isn't me making excuses. But do you think it's because he's never been treated as like a regular guy? And now he's like, I'm a regular guy. I'm just like you. I definitely think there's something ego-driven about it. Like, I think that he knows that he's shy of love. And it's like him going up to these strangers and talking to them. He knows that it means something to them. And it's like an ego thing, you know? Definitely. Definitely an ego boost. Yeah, because he's such a narcissist. Like when you listen to him talk, he loves himself, you know? Right. So, Shia does end up going to rehab.

49:44This is from CBS News, May of 2021. And connection to misdemeanor charges of battery and petty theft. 34-year-old actor, Shia LaBuff, is being allowed to enter a 12-month diversion program. The case stems from a June 2020 altercation in which the actor allegedly took a man's hat, following a verbal argument that turned physical on Sunset Boulevard. As part of the arrangement, the actor will require to submit to random tests for alcohol consumption and utilize an alcohol monitoring device. Continue to participate in a 12-step program and attend at least one therapy session each week that addresses anger management. You know, one person that it's like, yeah, that would be really good for him. He really needs all those things. Mm-hmm, totally. LaBuff was also ordered to stay 100 yards away from the alleged victim and the location of the incident, and not to own or possess any weapons according to LA City Attorney's Office. God, like nobody needed anger management more than him.

50:46Mm-hmm. I mean, even him trying to stab his neighbor in 2000 five, like, what the fuck? He must go into booking and be like, hey, Tom, hey, Susie, hey, Bridget, how's your daughter? He must know. He's known them since he was a teenager. Right. He's like, I'll be out in six hours. Don't worry. I'm not going to jail. Not even going to pay a fine. Might have to go to rehab, but I won't take that serious. Yeah. Who's got a cigarette? Who's got a cigarette? Come on. So in 2020, FKA Twigs sued Shia, citing relentless abuse in their relationship. In this article is really long, but I think it's an important one, and I didn't want to just like cherry pick from it. So this is from The New York Times. Just after Valentine's Day in 2019, the musician FKA Twigs was in a car speeding towards Los Angeles. At the wheel was her boyfriend, the actor Shia LaBuff. He was driving recklessly. She said in a lawsuit filed on Friday,

51:46removing his seatbelt and threatening to crash, unless she professed her love for him. They were returning from the desert, where Mr. LaBuff, the star of Transformers, had raged at her throughout the trip. FKA Twigs said in the lawsuit, once waking her up in the middle of the night choking her. After she begged to be let out of the car, she said he pulled over at a gas station and she took her bags from the trunk, but Mr. LaBuff followed and assaulted her, throwing her against the car while screaming in her face according to the suit. He then forced her back in the car. The gas station incident is at the heart of the lawsuit that says Mr. LaBuff, 34, abused FKA Twigs physically, emotionally, and mentally, many times in the relationship that lasted just short of a year. Her aim in coming forward, she said in an interview, was to explain how even a critically acclaimed artist with money, a home, and a strong network of supporters could be caught in such a cycle. I'd like to be able to raise awareness on the tactics that abusers use to control you

52:47and take away your agency. FKA Twigs born, T'Lyla, Debrit Barnett said, Mr. LaBuff responded Thursday to the concerns raised by Miss Barnett, and a second former girlfriend who had accused him of abusive behavior in an email that broadly addressed his conduct. I'm not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior has made them feel. He said in an email, two-the-New York Times. He didn't use a publicist. He went straight to the New York Times. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I've been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people close to me. I'm ashamed of the history and I'm sorry to those I hurt. There's nothing else I can really say. The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court says that Mr. LaBuff knowingly gave Miss Barnett a sexually transmitted disease, it accuses him of relentless abuse, including sexual battery assault in an inflection of emotional distress.

53:48Mr. LaBuff and his representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the lawsuit. Carol Foe, a stylist who is another of Mr. LaBuff's former girlfriends, described a similarly to mulch-ewis experience to the Times, some of which are also outlined on the lawsuit. Once the suit says he drunkenly pinned her to the bed and headbutted her, enough that she bled. Afterwards, she began to grapple with the idea that he was abusing her. So much goes into breaking down a man or woman to make them okay with a certain kind of treatment she said in an interview. Presented with a detailed account of the claims that the woman made against him in interviews and subsequently in the lawsuit, Mr. LaBuff, responding in a separate email, wrote that many of these allegations are not true, but he continued he owed the women the opportunity to air their statements publicly and accept accountability for those things I have done. He added that he was a sober member

54:49of a 12-step program and in therapy. I'm not cured of my PTSD and alcoholism, he wrote, but I'm committed to doing what I need to do to recover and I will forever be sorry to the people that I may have harmed along the way. Mr. LaBuff has a long history of turbulent behavior. He's been arrested several times on charges that have been dismissed, including assault and disorderly conduct according to the newspaper reports and public records. In 2015, strangers recorded a video of him arguing with his then-girlfriend Mia, Goth, telling her, this is the kind of thing that makes a person abusive. After the men recorded Mr. LaBuff gave him a ride, he told them, if I had stayed there, I would have killed her. Ms. Barnett said that Mr. LaBuff would squeeze or grab her to the point of bruising, but she did not go to police, she said. First, out of the misguided concern about harming his career, and later because she thought her account would not be taken seriously and it would be futile. Though many states have laws

55:49that treat gender-based sexual or domestic violence as civil rights violations, tort suites of the kind Ms. Barnett is pushing with a daunting account of painful moments are relatively uncommon. Most often, allegations arise and mid-divorce or custody proceedings or while seeking orders of protection. But there's been a slight uptick in civil claims since the Me Too movement. A mid-more attention on the complex nature of abuse said Julie Goldschlein, a law professor at CUNY Law School who studies gender violence in civil rights. In the lawsuit, Ms. Barnett describes how she met Mr. LaBuff in 2018 when she was cast in Honeyboy, a mostly autobiographical film he wrote and they started dating after the movie wrapped. The early days of their relationship were marked by his over-the-top displays of affection she says in the lawsuit, which helped earn her trust. In an abusive relationship, there's often a honeymoon phase as some experts call it that builds intimacy and sets a benchmark for how happy the romance could be.

56:51It serves as a powerful lure. Though flash-shirts of bliss may remain, they are merited throughout the increasingly controlled demands and impossible standards of behavior. In the lawsuit, Ms. Barnett in Ms. Faux spoke that Mr. LaBuff did not like it when they spoke to or looked at male waiters. In an interview, Ms. Barnett said she learned to keep her eyes down when men spoke to her. She also stated in the suit that Mr. LaBuff had rules about how many times a day she had to kiss and touch him. Which he reinforced with constant criticism. Mr. LaBuff convinced Ms. Barnett to stay with him in Los Angeles, she said, rather than move back to London where she and her professional circle lived. It was a step towards her isolation, she said. And he would often say that her creative team used her, a message that eventually led her to doubt them. But living with him became frightening, she said. The lawsuit says that he kept a loaded firearm by the bed

57:51and that she was scared to use the bathroom at night because he could mistake her for an intruder and shoot her. He didn't let her wear clothing to bed and would spin a big disagreement. Over an artist she liked and he didn't, for example, into an all night fight depriving her of sleep, the suit says. The situation came just as she completed what became her most critically-louded album, Magdalene. Ms. Barnett said she found herself in stasis, struggling to find her professional duties and confounding her friends and colleagues. Twigs is always the driving force behind her career, always a step ahead at everyone, said her longtime manager, Michael Sturtin. This was an extreme change in her personality and character. The album's release was delayed multiple times and a tour was rescheduled at great cost, Mr. Sturtin said, as Ms. Barnett receded. I could speak to her, he said, but I couldn't reach her. As Ms. Barnett grew more isolated, she said she felt as though her safety nets were unraveling.

58:51The gas station incident had happened in public. She said, and no one stepped in to her aid, an early attempt she made to tell a colleague was brushed off. I just thought to myself, no one is ever going to believe me. She said in an interview, I'm unconventional and I'm a person of color who is female. Slowly with the help of a therapist, she began to strategize her exit. While she was packing to leave in spring of 2019, Mr. LeBov turned up, unannounced and terrorized her. According to a sworn statement from a witness, her housekeeper in the lawsuit, when Ms. Barnett wouldn't leave with him, the statement says he violently grabbed her, picked her up and locked her in another room, where he yelled at her. Ascaping him began to seem both difficult and dangerous, the lawsuit says, and even as she grew and resolved, she felt overwhelmed. She told her therapist in an email the times has reviewed. Though she had the means, it took several attempts from Ms. Barnett to extricate herself. She said in an interview, and it was only afterwards that she realized how broken down she had become.

59:54The whole time I was with him, I could have bought myself a business flight plane ticket back to my four-story townhouse in Hackney and London, she said, and yet she didn't. He brought me so low below myself that the idea of leaving him and having to work myself back up just seemed impossible. And a lawsuit, Ms. Barnett said that she plans to donate a significant portion of any monetary damages to domestic violence charities. It was actually very expensive and a massive undertaking of time and resources to get out, she said, in an interview. Her status makes her situation unusual, she said. But she wanted to share her story because it was otherwise so common. What I went through with Shia was the worst thing I've ever been through in my whole life. She said, I don't think people ever think that it would happen to me, but I think that's the thing. It can happen to anybody. God, and honestly, all of the other stuff he already should have been kind of like done.

1:00:56But when this happened and we found out what he actually did to her, that should have been it. Like nail in the coffin, that's it. Right, and in that lawsuit, she also, that's when she mentions shooting the dogs. She mentions getting an STI from him. She mentions he would go cheat on her and bring back women. It was just really, really awful and heartbreaking. And I don't think people talked about it enough. I agree. I could be wrong. Oh, you agree? No, I agree. Okay. Because I remember we talked about it on our podcast, but I don't remember it being as big of a thing as it should have been. I think that if she was a pretty white girl, it would be a much bigger thing. Yeah. Right. If she wasn't an alternative black girl, that people assume is into like weird shit or whatever. If she looked like Zara Larsen or something, it would have been world changing.

Like she has all the resources, like she said,

1:03:01I could have got a plane ticket and like gone, but it's just not that easy. And the fact that when she did try to leave, he came and physically stopped her. I just think like it's so nuanced and people kind of look at it as like black and white and it's never black and white. No, not at all. So if anyone's gone through that, we're thinking of you. And then we're sure this episode is like very tough. Yeah. So in July of 2025, Shia and FK Twigs end up sentiling their lawsuit. So they reached a private out of court settlement. And she dismissed her claims with prejudice and details of the settlement have never been publicly disclosed. Wow. I mean, the fact that she made it out of that alive is insane. The fact that we still have her as an artist and that she's making better art than she's ever made after him. Like he was so threatened by her talent. Right. And even the other woman like the thought of being head-butted,

Shia love love had a rough time during Marty Grah overnight in New Orleans, getting into a fight that brought paramedics to the scene, which ended with the actor being arrested. TMZ obtained video of the aftermath of the alleged physical altercation, which occurred just after midnight Tuesday, outside of a bar in the French Quarter. We've also got video of part of the fight outside the bar and Shia doesn't come out too well. And eyewitness tells TMZ,

1:05:01Shia was escorted out of the bar by staff for some reason before getting into a brawl. Afterwards, Shia walked down the block, then looped back around to the front of the bar where responding paramedics treated Shia according to the witness. Our footage shows Shia receiving a medical aid without looking too banged up, while jabbering with the emergency medical service workers. Another photoque spotted Shia after he was loaded inside the parked ambulance with its lights flashing. According to court records, Shia was arrested and is facing two charges of simple battery. So this was the same arrest where he was yelling like homophobic slurs. He pled guilty to this in June of 2026. I feel like the New Orleans thing just like resurrected him. Yeah, I agree with you. It's like he found a new city to be bad in. Like what the fuck? I can't believe I wasn't thinking about that when I was in New Orleans. Like Shia was like in these streets that I was in. I was gonna ask you if you were afraid he was gonna roll up on you. I wasn't even thinking about him,

1:06:01but now that I've been there and I can picture him being violent on those streets or all those drunk people. Like I honestly can't think of a worse place for him to be than on like the French quarter in New Orleans. Like a man with alcohol issues. Where do you think his next city will be? I'm guessing Nashville or like Knoxville. Oh Nashville. Remembrance. I could see Nashville because he also like loves music. Yeah. I could see him going to Nashville and raising hell. He's gonna be the next country star. Oh my god. Yeah, it'll take one performance of karaoke to like change the rest of his life. Yeah. So then in March of 2026, FKA Twigs su Shia over an NDA from 2020. And this is from Variety. T'Lyla Barnett, also known as FKA Twigs, is suing Shia LaBuff over an unlawful NDA, included in the settlement that resulted from the Grammy winner's 2020 sexual battery lawsuit against the transformer star.

1:07:04In the lawsuit obtained by Variety, lawyers for Barnett state that after the 2020 case, LaBuff extracted a settlement that contained unlawful terms under California's stand together against non-disclosure acts, stand act, which nulls portions of NDAs in sexual abuse settlements such as Barnett's. The suit also states that in 2025, LaBuff filed a secret arbitration complaint in an attempt to collect an exorbitant amount of money for a supposed breach of the 2020 settlement. LaBuff's arbitration claim allegedly targeted Barnett's quotes from in October 2025 interview with the Hollywood Reporter during which she was asked if she felt a sense of safety after moving on from her relationship with LaBuff. Barnett responded, no, I wouldn't say I feel safe. I feel really passionate about being involved with organizations, such as CISTA space, and no more,

1:08:04to help survivors in any way I can. I think it's less about me at this point and more about just looking forward, just, you know, moving on with my life. The suit adds that even if the NDA provisions at issue were legal, Barnett's statements to the outlet were laughable generic in benign and therefore protected. LaBuff's campaign of intimidation and abuse of the legal system denigrates not just mis Barnett, but every survivor of sexual abuse in this state, the suit reads, as the California legislature has made it clear survivors should have the right to tell their stories without fear or coercion. In California law does not and must not allow abusers and bullies to silence them through secret agreements containing unconscientiable unlawful gag orders. Barnett's lawyers claim she was forced to file this motion as a way to combat LaBuff's erroneous, preposterous legal position that he is somehow not covered by the stand act because he was supposedly

1:09:05sued by Miss Barnett in 2020 only for sexual battery, not sexual assault. In the stand act does not cover him as a sexual batterer even though as matter of both common sense and the law, the stand act covers both. In December 2020 Barnett sued LaBuff in the superior court of California for injury sustained over months of physical, sexual, and mental abuse during their relationship. So even though he's going on fucking John Berthonyl's podcast being like, I'm sorry for everything I did, I'm repenting, I'm a good man now, he's still trying to sneaky suit FKA twigs. That is cool. Is that like a, is that calm people know that? Do people know that he did that? I don't think so, I didn't know until I was pulling these notes. He's so, oh my god, like he's lucky that she's not just like, she's so reserved and pulled back and like, I don't know,

1:10:10she's so much like grace about the whole thing. Like he's lucky that she's not just like dragging him because she could. Right, she could tell her a whole story every single day if she wanted. She like chooses to take the high road. This is, I cannot believe, I just like can't believe any of this, to be honest with you, I just, and this is insane to have it all compiled like this. That's why I think these episodes are like important because we get asked so many times like, what exactly did Tray songs do? And it's like, we have an episode for it and when I get to Naya now, it's like, we have an episode for it and it's, it's nice to have that in our catalog. I agree, especially because with a lot of these people, there's no way that a regular person can keep track of all the times that Shia Lebuff has had run into with the law. I mean, or like Chris Brown or whoever, it's like too much. So then we jumped to March of this year, Shia screaming at women in the street. This is again from TMZ.

1:11:10Shia Lebuff seemingly lost his cool while in Rome, appearing agitated with a woman sitting next to him outside of a restaurant. The controversial actor was spotted hanging out in Italy's capital earlier this week, sitting at a table in a T-shirt and jeans and sipping out of a bottle. Okay? TMZ will do anything to milk an article to make a long. They're like, remember he was a fashion boy. He was seen wearing shoes pants in a shirt. Despite his anger, she appears relatively unfazed, not moving a muscle while he stares her down. Later on, the video picks up with Shia screaming in the street, pacing around across, walking and yelling in general in a general direction. It's unclear if he's yelling at the same woman or someone else. As you know, Shia has had a concerning few weeks or decade. Beginning with his arrest for battery in New Orleans last month, he was allowed to travel to Rome despite the arrest, where he was filmed walking around a hotel lobby and just underwear.

1:12:12You know, I want to ask you this. Okay. Because I've also said on this show, and I guess it's like kind of hypocritical. I've said many times on this show that like when a person is like Kanye, for example, it's like to keep track of every crazy thing Kanye does at a certain point. It's like us being crazy because he's like so unstable. I always say it's like a person in the street with like a megaphone just screaming crazy shit. It's like you're not going to report everything that that person says because it's just like mumble jumbo. And at a certain point, it's like Shia, it's like not even news. Yeah. It's just a person who's like clearly unmedicated and like very not diagnosed with a lot of substance issues just out on the street doing exactly what a person like that would do. So this is going to be controversial. Okay. I don't believe Shia LeBuff is crazy. Okay. I do not think this. If he is like able to try and go behind the scenes to sue FKA twigs for talking, he's not as crazy.

1:13:14I think he's very with it. I think he's trying to do this so he can just say he wasn't sane. I think he has addiction issues. I don't think there's any question about that. I think he has anger issues. But I can't believe I'm like saying this. I think that he thinks that this is like this isn't the same. You know when walking Phoenix, we just mentioned it a few weeks ago. Like he was acting crazy or whatever. I think that's what Shia is doing because eventually he's going to try and plead insanity to something. And now it's all marked of him doing all these different things. I mean that isn't totally far off when you watch him do interviews. He's completely rational and like charming at times and funny and down to earth and relatable. Like he knows when to turn on the charm. Yeah. And when he just feels like turning it off. So I don't think that that's like a super far out there, like outrageous thing. Yeah. I'm sure something's going on. But like I just think he's like making it heightened.

1:14:16Number one, he's always gotten away with everything. But number two, he'll be able to plead insanity for when if he does kill someone, if he does do something that pushes him over the edge. And I think people are more apt to allow people back into Hollywood if they have like a quote-unquote psychotic break or something. Yeah. But he can kind of explain away instead of him being like, no, this is who I am. I feel like that theory is supported by the way he talks about his childhood. Yeah. Like he uses the way he was raised and stuff as an excuse for his behavior. And like his dad, like he always uses his dad as like the reason that he's this way or whatever. And this feels like so against how I usually believe. You know, like I truly try and give people benefit of the doubt, but with him. And like knowing he was trying to sneaky sue like FKA twigs and it really like heightened in New Orleans. And everything happened in March. Even the last thing we're going to read is in March. Yeah. I don't think it's like unmedicated. I don't know.

1:15:16We're like, you could look at like Ezra and be like Ezra is about that life. Yeah. Like Ezra is truly about that unmedicated undiagnosed lifestyle. Mm hmm. And it's just out on the streets out actually being manic. That's interesting. I never really thought about it that way, but you're making points. Especially because he loves an art installation. He could just say this was like a long like prepping for a role. He just got signed on to a new movie the other day. Oh, he did? So yeah, he just signed on to this crime thriller called God of rodeo. And I bet you during that press tour, he'll be totally fine. And totally like with it and everything. Because I just, I think he knows eventually he's going to like get in trouble. But he's going to be in a movie with Umat Thurman in Don Johnson too. It's on Du Moir, the American trip. Well, then there's a, this is like so crazy. There's a Rolling Stone article from literally February.

1:16:20Whether saying that he was terrorizing the set. So, as crew members say, Shyla Buff was completely wild while shooting his recent film. So it's like he's literally doing the exact same shit. Like that's crazy. I don't trust it. I can't trust Shyya. And it's that simple. Yeah, I'm sorry, baby. You're not so good looking or so talented that you can be running around doing all this. I could snob. No. Come on now. No. So this is the final article. It's from March of 26. And it's from TMZ. Shyla Buff went ballistic on cops outside his New Orleans home early Friday morning. And the wild encounter was caught on video. Everything caught on fucking video. In footage obtained by TMZ, Shyla is animatedly explaining something to cops about a car. Well, it's unclear exactly what he's saying. At one point, he lifts his shirt and seems to make the sign of a cross. He then directs the cops to look at a security camera on his house and shows them his phone saying,

1:17:21you got to understand who I am. I'm a target. He adds an easy target. Then things escalate. Shyya then begins pacing back and forth and growing increasingly agitated and eventually yells, I have a fucking three year old. He then brings up recent legal trouble shouting he's just been sitting in a jail for fucking four months for punching a man. He keeps getting more frantic continuing to scream at officers repeatedly saying he doesn't trust them. The video then cuts to Shyya sitting in the street clearly distraught yelling at someone off camera, seemingly an officer. What are you talking about? That's why I never call you before letting out another loud scream and breaking into tears. Moments later cops drive off leaving Shyya alone still emotional. So that's the last update. Oh my god. I really love when we do these episodes because then it's like I can't allow myself to have revisionist history about him or like forget. I was even getting charmed by those clips that kept going viral of his recent interviews.

1:18:24He was having some pretty charming moments and I'm not thinking about all his arrests all the time so it's like you forget. Totally. He was just at a Comic Con recently and he was like really funny during it. Now it's just like this motherfucker and that's why I can't believe him. Yeah. Oh god. That was intense. I was not expecting it to be so intense. My god. Honestly, I texted my friends and I was like I just brage bait myself every week on the blind. I know why we created a show that just makes me mad every week. But yeah, I'm really frustrated that he gets spoken about as being like troubled as being you know like has a good boy with an edge or whatever. I think now people are just like oh he's just not well. You know, he's mentally unwell whereas like Chris Brown is always violent and always bad and like. But it's just they're the same.

1:19:24They're the same yet Chris Brown can't even like release like a tick talk or whatever. Like a video or whatever about people being like go fuck yourself and he gets so mad about it. And they do not have that same energy for Shia at all. No, and to be clear, I'm not standing up for Chris Brown. No, no, no. I'm not team Chris Brown. I just think they should be written about the same. Yeah, totally. And people's reaction to them should be the same. Like it's it's pretty crazy. God. Oh. That is the Shia Lebuff arrest episode.
