I'll be on the mountain tomorrow for sound. So that'll be fun. Do we roll that thing in? Yeah, let's do this. This is cool. Well, I'm a huge fan of Friday night lights, the TV show and the movie, of

course, Peter Berg. He just knows how to use that explosions in the sky soundtrack, you know, and Kyle Chandler's voice. So let's let's just for we have a real short segment here. And then the last half hour, we can do some more calls from you guys, but go to your YouTube, Twitch and Twitter. Still an audio if you want to just listen on audio, but this is Kyle Chandler's how Netflix started the season. And they went high school football, Kyle Chandler, Friday night light style, and then ended with 49ers Rams. Check it out. And so it begins right here. Right now. Today. You are going to win. You'll use your eyes to win. Your eyes will show you the truth. You'll recognize it, whether you like it or not. Without wishing you were seeing something else. The truth on the field is never something else. You will not look away. You will feel the truth.

Together in your hearts. Your eyes will see clearly. Your hearts will feel fully. You will play with your eyes clear and your heart full. If you can do that and then do it again. And again, I assure you you cannot lose. It's sacred to be a part of this family. We all hear the gun. Let's see what I have. Clear eyes full hearts. Can't lose.

We are living in the era of the best hype videos ever. I mean, we think about the amount of hype videos that come out each and every week and college football in the NFL, but dude, that one hit different. Like just hearing the soundtrack. Dude, I literally got goosebumps. I didn't play pop Warner football. They should pop Warner kids. Oh, yeah, dude. You've told your stories about pop Warner football that's so meaningful to you. I mean, yeah, pop Warner football shaped the kind of guy that I am kind of put me on the right track when I was a troublemaker when I was little coaches. Shout out to the Montavos, the legendary coaches who coached my dad and pop Warner ran like a military style system for the Sunnville micro rockets. We used to have to clean every little piece of debris off our helmets, our jerseys, the bottom of our cleats. And anytime we showed up and were missing any piece of gear. We had one scratch mark or scuff mark on our helmet 100 up downs. He had something called the gig list and every time you screwed up 100 up downs.

I mean, this is why when we you have been in this building and you've done every single shift and you've done it better than everybody and why you got all to it is. Yeah, the Matt that video was about the montavos building winners. Yeah, I think about the pop Warner days you think about high school football playing underneath those Friday night lights here in that national anthem which fires you up, which it probably shouldn't but do it. Yeah, I'm not even joking. I got goose bumps. Peter Bergs such a skilled filmmaker and he made that thing. So if you were only in your car, I urge you guys to go check it out. Just type in next to the trailer on social media. You'll find it. But if you're watching on YouTube, you saw the whole deal because they strung together from pop Warner all the way through high school all the way up to the four hours in the Rams. That's awesome. Yeah, that was a sick high video. All right. That was it. Okay. 808 KBR as a phone number will take your calls for last half hour bang the number. Man, we've been talking since 6 a.m. 27 to 7. How did that happen? Why did it happen? What's going to happen going forward? Have the 49ers changed your mind about everything next on these sports leaders. K and B are the sports leader now back to Mervyn Marcus on the sports leader streaming live on these sports leader dot com at K and B are the sports leader app.

Two tight ends with the Kittle and Farrell and then juice as well. Perth is under center. He takes he wants Evans. He just puts it up. Give it to Mike. Mike's got it. He pulled it in for his first touchdown. 49ers Mike Evans. And that is big on big and it was tight coverage from Jalen Watson on Mike Evans. Brock Perthie could not put that in a better spot. He rips it right over the head right over the head of J of Watson and would a big time catch in traffic in the phone booth by Mike Evans. That's why he's an all pro. That's why he's going to go to the Hall of Fame. Good subtle little push off. Oh, there's hand fighting. He never takes his eyes off the football and captures it for six points. Well, you stopped for 12 years in Tampa. Here's Benero on for the point after. Love it. Good to hear guy. Hey, Bromine and Tim Ryan breaking it down. I got to be in the car for a little bit of the game yesterday and Tim was just on point breaking down every play so beautifully. Actually, I was in the car when the Rams were gassing the Niners and Ryan Tim. He was not hiding. He's like, like, Brogan, Pant kicked up the middle and he was he was concerned and then staffered through the pick.

Gregie Friday is one of yours. Oh, yeah, that Murf. This is straight off of my playlist. Shout out to the expendables out of Santa Cruz with the song down, down, down in honor of the 49ers taking down the Rams down under in Australia. I'm going to go ahead and by the way, there's been a relentless couple of relentless textures trying to take down my guy, Boucher. Yeah, that's me about the Australia winter spring thing. I'm with you because to me, the the Vurnal Equinox isn't until or the equinox isn't until the 20th of the month, tell them, Murf and they're trying to say, so I looked it up and there's like a meteorological, equino, whatever and then and an equit, whatever. There's two different ways to look at it. And they say Australia considers their meteorological spring to start September one. But there's also an equinox spring that was start September 20. So blank the meteor we go equinox, baby. We're going equinox until the sun hits that freaking latitude or whatever it is.

I'm saying it's winter. Thank you, I'm with Boucher. Thank you. And I'll say this to the text line clapping back about whether or not it's spring or winter in Australia. I don't give a damn if it springs, summer fall or winter. The Rams were not winning that game yesterday. Spring, summer winter or fall. Shout out James Taylor. By the way, I couldn't believe that, you know, when they signed Mike Evans, we're like, well, wait a little sideline or read it. Those end zone fades. End zone fades. Now, end zone fades have a bad connotation in nine or history. Why you got to bring up old stuff. Don't try me with a mediocre receiver. Oh boy, but end zone fades to Mike Evans are supposed to be a good thing. And I couldn't believe that we got one in our very first week. And I couldn't believe that the formation lined up. There he was at the top of your screen one on one. Everybody knew what was coming, including his defender. Doesn't matter. And he pulled it in for a touchdown. Yeah, so good, dude. And that's why we have been so excited about Mike Evans in this offense because he gives you a different element because he's got to be a good guy.

Because he's got that side. He's got that jump all ability. And let's not forget all those third down conversions yesterday with Brock, it was their first game, but they were locked in. They were on the same page all game on not the same. Quite not quite the same ring as third and John third and Mike. But that's what it was yesterday. We'll go with the third down mic drop. Shanahan on calling plays for number five. I love calling plays for Mike. I mean, Mike's been great here. I mean, today was my first time doing it with them, but I mean, I think yes, already did on third down. I kept as I want to say, I know our first two third downs. I believe went to him moving the chains. I think he had a big second along that got us to overcome and avoid third down. And it was nice to be able to have a type of receiver. We could throw a fade to like that in the red zone. That was cool. Dude, I mean, more please. Yeah, nice to have a type of wide receiver that we can throw a fade to like Kyle, of course, coach Julio Jones with the Atlanta Falcons. But this is the best wide receiver that Kyle has had since the days of Julio Jones. Yeah, Mike Evans, by the way, if you missed it earlier today was laughing about the way the ramps came in.

So actually, before we get to that, Walt, the Evans, it's just a quick cut about catching that touchdown. It's 09 1 0 M as in Mary about catching the ball from Brock, perry. Here it is. Brock, do a great ball. We got the curbs. We wanted and we actually ripped that a lot the last couple of weeks. So I was happy that paid off. We're able to keep scoring after that. It was so good, man. And I have my fantasy. Yeah. Now let me ask, I know you were celebrating that touchdown. And maybe that touchdown meant more to you because you have Mike Evans on the football inches, but out of the three Brock, pretty touchdown passes, which pass impress you the most because that was a beautiful fade route to Mike Evans. A great ball that traveled 40 yards in the air down to the Marks rope. Rob, but don't forget about Brock, pretty using his legs, extending the play and finding Debo Samuel as well liked it. Like it. I mean, now you're asking me to choose to my children. Yeah, who's your favorite, but I'm going to go with the Marcus Robinson. The way or loft ski was breaking that down this morning on ESPN said that that Chris Shula ran the same defense five plays in a row. And he said Kyle finally said, OK, you're going to run that defense. You're susceptible to

the Marcus on this route. And he dialed it up. He said, or loft ski was killing Chris Shula. He said the Rams have a defensive problem. Yeah, he said they do shout out to Kyle Shanahan, forcing Shula to kind of spam that simply over and over again, because Kyle Shanahan started the game with so many quick passes, so many screens where Shula started creeping up his coverage even more and more. And then Brock, pretty takes a shot. And it's good old, reliable number 11. The Marcus Robertson. We've been talking about those number three receivers that have just kind of floated along on your favorite team for years and he's going to be one of those guys. Mike Evans, by the way, afterwards was unsure. He didn't know the Rams came in only 24 hours ahead of time. They were doing this weird post game presser. We're all three guys were up on a table with a bad table cloth. It looked like one of those NC. If you ever cover March madness and they always bring the three players up and it's after like a lot of time. And nobody wants to talk to two of the players. It's always feel bad for that. I would say I feel bad. I'd come up with a quote. I'd be like, Hey, the guy on the right. Nobody's asked you a question. I'm going to ask you a question. Just a bad for the guy. Anyway, they asked Mike Evans. And you can kind of hear it in the distant background. The Aussies asking, but they say, Hey, what did you think of the Rams coming in late? And he didn't he didn't know. Here's what happened here. When did they get out here? When did they get out here? Seriously?

Oh, I mean, you got to get your body time to adjust. I mean, obviously, whenever the game scheduled, you got to be ready to play. But maybe a few days earlier would have been ideal. No matter what, we don't care if they came a week or two weeks earlier. We had it on our mind to come out here and execute. We did that. Okay, man. So again, we started the show talking about it. We're ending the show talking about it. All the things that went right for the Niners and it started with their preparation and that counts. I mean, we could all talk X's and knows all we want. But how you prepare as an organization matters. And we said, well, those are matters that I guess I've heard from Rams fans. No, nothing to do is a quarterback sneak was a stupid call. No, no, it matters. The entire. The Rams look. I tell you, dude. And again, this could have been me projecting. But the very the kickoff when Mustafa flew down and popped the Rams guy. My first thought was not as fresh and kind of explosive. And then the Rams went three and out because both of the tackle aside on the first snap and crunch staffer into an incomplete.

And then the foundation that was a deep boy that went off of Warner's hands. Warner almost had a chance for picking that first right away. My feeling was the Niners look more explosive. You know, well, you can notice it from the kickoff. But then as the game went on, like it kind of seemed like the adrenaline diet off for the Rams. And then they got really flat and Fred Warner even talked about it about how their energy kind of withered throughout the game. So it definitely was a factor. You can't just be ignorant and ignore the fact that this travel plan, this game plan for the Rams did not work out. Now by some saying that I don't want to discredit the 49ers victory for blaming the loss for the Rams on the jet log. Instead, I'd rather give credit to the 49ers and Kyle Shanahan and the entire organization for planning this out because you're right. When you play these international games, the travel schedule and the travel plan is a part of the game plan. And obviously the 49ers came out on top in that category. Your culture matters, man. It matters. And the Rams were cocky. I would say and you know, Peter Schreger was carrying their water on NFL. Now we're going to be asking everybody.

He's laughing at the Rams. They're they're playing chess. I mean, he didn't say that exactly. But he was like, they've spent the last two years sending 15 different staffers and tracked their body rhythms. Oh, by the way, those staffers were not playing 60 minutes of football gets Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, the staffers were not trying to get around Trent Williams on the outside. Exactly. So just a win across the board for the 49ers after a weird summer with the injuries and the substation and the Kyle car accident. And I wrote a jog bug over the summer saying, and that sometimes my jog blog is dude, I'm just, you know, I don't know. But I wrote like maybe something positive can come out of the Kyle car accident and that maybe, I don't know, you appreciate life more. You appreciate him more. Like it was, he was pretty rattled. Remember how rattled he was the first week back. And now the brighter said that he had them in his office. He was in tears. He felt so bad for the girl. We'll never know truly what happened that day. I don't know if it truly matters. If everybody was safe and everybody nobody got debilitating injuries in it.

But I don't know me. I said, maybe Kyle and the team bonds a little bit, but it was a bad summer other than that. Yeah. And look how they start to see. Yeah. And don't forget about your boy, Desion love. Oh my god. Desion love might have provided comic relief. He needs to step up. He needs to be the X factor without Desion. Shrublin. He might have planned the Rams, the Rams travel plans there. So well, what do they do now? Every say, well, let's see how they do week two. Well, they're gonna have the Miami dolphins. I'm gonna just say this right now. I mean, we obviously won't talk about that game until next week. I bet the night was gonna be flat in that game. Not because I think it's just human nature. I think it was a big emotional game. And the dolphins mean nothing to them. And to be honest, is Levi's gonna be rocking for the dolphins game? You know what, Murf? I'm gonna push back and say all you do at KBR is bitch and complain about week two. Enjoy the win more. Can be our. That's all you guys do all day long bitch about the game. Enjoy the game or enjoy the win, Murf. I'm saying they're the win. They're gonna win.

But it's gonna be a flat. Save it for your next jog blog. There you go. Squeeze one out today. I might not. Anyway, I got a bunch of stuff to do. I'm doing an event with Dusty Baker tonight. Are you at the Olympic club? Nice. Hell yeah. I'm doing an event with Maria Lopez tonight. Oh, lucky you. Yeah, going out to the ballpark. And a vendor just gonna hang with a nice little giant suaray before the game starts. Yeah, I got invited to be Maria Lopez's arm candy for the event. She's your arm. Yeah, that's true. All right. Plus one. Let's do that. You get see Robbie Ray. Yeah, I do against my guy Anthony Molina. Let's go Molina who throws hard. That's his first name, right? Anthony. Get that right. Mol Molina. I mean, the guy's three and oh, you know, it's it's something. It's he's three and oh with it with an area in the tubes. You got it. It's Tony Molina. Tony Molina. Anthony Molina. Not to mention my guy says our Prado Mo tomorrow night who I got into the round table yesterday. I made a Prado Mo reference. There was one guy who was five and he was pointing at me there. And shout out to everybody that showed up yesterday at Adventure Land over at Almanac for the 49ers round table and just again to reset for anybody who missed the news yesterday about our good friend Greg Papa returning to the KMBR airwaves who'll be doing a daily segment for an hour of John Lone and making multiple appearances with the dirty work boys and right here on the Murphy Marcus morning.

That was my applause line yesterday. Everybody great promise coming back. By the way, 7 or 7 we're just not going to talk about how scared Murph was about the Rams game. Hey, 7 or 7. I'm in a pool. I took the night. Look at you. Look at you. Looking up for my Biff on the Patriot Seahawks game. All right, guys. What do we do? We gave away the tickets. We got what do we learn? I don't even know what we learn. We'll figure it out on these parts later. I don't know about you know, Reggae Friday. That's pretty cool, man. Listen to V sports leader anytime anywhere. Download KNBR V sports leader app. Murphy Marcus continued live from the casino matrix progressive jackpot studios casino matrix progressive jackpots are here. Where are you? Just drop in 1 800. I love ending our reggae Fridays with our traditional Friday. Shout out. You'll 1 of 4.5 FM K fog days when John Capromb would play this every Friday at 5 o'clock. Those were the days, baby. We were younger. The world was the world was more innocent.

And of course it makes us feel good. By the way, Marcus, of all the tweets. I send out an overload of tweets during the nighters games. I don't know. It's like a nervous. You can unfollow. It's OK. The one that got the most traction when they came back from like the fourth quarter. They came back with a Melbourne cricket ground like historical perspective. And they were showing Aussie rules football. And dude, I had a freaking catapult back into the past. I'm like, yo, now that I see that. They used to on ESPN in the 80s when ESPN was nothing. Oh, barely knew what it was. They had no content. They used to play Aussie rules football. Did they really? There was a generation of us that was on late at night. You just have it on. And this is how our generation kind of grew up knowing this. That whole thing with the ref doing the double point like we all going to joke about that. Like, yeah, you got to be like that. Aussie ref, you know, the point. And then they got more content and they stopped airing it. So I sent out a tweet saying, um, raise your hand if you're old enough to remember ESPN and it's nascent days airing Aussie rules football. And I raised my hand to the amount of traction I caught on this.

People are just like, dude, of court. Oh my God. Memories dude midnight. There's like, oh, and I, you know, I made me fall in love with Aussie rules football. And this guy says, uh, I do. I used to ask what the F is going on. But after about 10 games, I was like, what the F is going on. Here's a man to read it. I was just telling my son how I watched it as a kid. And he told me I was a nerd. Here's a guy Bruce and I watched it all the time. It was better than the tractor pulls. They were airing. That's the other thing they were airing too. So it's fun. Did you notice the referees yesterday after Eddie Panero's first fill goal? They hit the Aussie point. Yeah, it's so good. Dan, you're saying, yes, I remember it was on live about midnight. So that's pretty funny. Anyway, that was the one that got the action going. Dr. Bruce Shane taking away. All right. Time to come see the doctor on a Friday because it's time for today. Stanford healthcare health reports sponsored by Stanford healthcare and Walter. Let me know if you got the sound directly from Kyle Shanahan after the game yesterday, given us an injury update on day's John Shribbling in Jake Tonjes. All right. The injuries from the game. Stribbling left. He had an ankle dinner return. Jake Tonjes had a knee dinner returned and triple Williams and McCaffrey left with cramps, but they came back.

Go ahead. They checked his Achilles. They said that was intact, but they're not exactly sure of the magnitude of the ankle injury. They're not sure. Day John Shribbling with the ankle injury Jake Tonjes with the knee injury. They will both be re-evaluated once the 49ers get back to the state. So stay tuned for Monday for your Stanford healthcare health report sponsored by Stanford healthcare. I think they're getting back pretty soon. Kyle says he's going to his kids high school football games tonight. Same for instance. That's pretty darn cool. All right. Learning. I think today was my day to learn. Inquiring minds. Want to know what did OG Murph learn today? How do you guys use that sound? A cringle? So it's not sitting at cringle. That's what you're doing. It was when you had a cringle. I was like, oh, oh, look at that. Well, Murph, that's the sound I make when I get a beer. Now, traditionally, I like to drink my beer out of a cup, but I believe you learn this week about the shoeie down in Australia.

No clue. And then you tell me this is a thing where you pour beer into your shoe and then you drink it. Yes. It makes no sense. No. And then you have to wear a wet beer so true. Yeah, that's the worst part is wearing the wet shoe after but shout out to our guy George Kittle, who was looking for a shoeie after the game. Here's a quick clip of George Kittle explaining the the shoeie to Dibo Samuel. That is they chucked a sickie and I love a shoeie. That's a beer out of a boot. I don't know what it is. It's a beer out of a boot. Once you get behind the boot, we'll do it over there. Now, have you done? I've actually have never done a shoeie because I don't want to walk around with the wet boot, but shout out to loaders boy Liam, who chucked a shoeie in the bleachers at Riggly when we went out to go watch the cubs in the giant Chicago video. That was the game they scored with 18 runs, the Friday runs. We had about 18 beers each. Shout out the Liam chugging one out of a shoe out of a Chuck Taylor, which is a canvas, like a canvas shoe. So it's so good. And then he walked around Chicago with the wet boot the entire day. You know what I said to him? I saw that video said you guys were hammered. Yes, we were.

Absolutely. One day everybody, Curly Walt, everybody have a great weekend. Farron biased with John Lund is next year, listen to KBR, A.M. and KBR FM San Francisco. These sports leaders are accumulus media station. Bang bang bang, not again out there. And one of the barbers looks at me and goes, looks cracker. He said it again. I hear that every Sunday, you know, the opposing team. It felt like they kind of, you know, weathered away. So why y'all at it right now? Take care of your bodies. You know, I mean, don't take care of y'all shaking. You feel me? Don't take care of your mental cause a little in less than a lot. That is they chucked a sickie and I'd love a shoey. Sam McVeigh's the tangerine, but Sam McDonne. That's the end of the game.
