In this video, we're going to be breaking down the five players who are skyrocketing up the fantasy rankings after free
agency. The dust has settled from free agency and a lot of players have benefited, but in my opinion none more than the five guys in this video.
And let's start with the Mauryan Hampton of the Los Angeles Chargers. He had a rookie year that was quietly impressive when you factor in that he was injured when he didn't have the greatest
offensive line due to some injuries. And overall in his rookie season, he goes out there. He averages about 60 rushing yards per game.
This is cut short because he was limited in games he got hurt or games he was coming back from. But when at the end of the day,
you look at what he did on a per game basis. He averaged 15.1 fantasy points per game. That was top 12,
a RB1 production last year as a rookie in PPR formats. And again, this is considering that a couple of those games are skewed because he left early or was
limited coming back from injury. And when you really break it down and you look at his breakout stretches right before injury and then towards the end of the
season, he was finally getting ramp back up. You were getting workhorse RB usage. This was at the beginning of the season in those three games from weeks
three, four and five. If you were in a Mario and Hampton fantasy manager, you loved that he was giving you 21.8 PPR points per game between his
receiving yards of 40 yards and rushing yards of 80. He was getting over 120 total yards per game during that time six targets per
game as well. And now you head into this season, year two, healthier and you look at what just happened in free
agency. And in my opinion, it's hard not to get excited about Hampton being once again a second round pick and fantasy. The
Chargers did a lot in free agency. And this team changes tracker in the fantasy blueprint, which you could check out right now for pre
order at the lowest rate on blueprint drop dot com. It's also linked down below. They did a lot. This is just on
offense. Doesn't even factor in the defense. You could see so far, they're subtractions. They lost pieces of their offensive line,
Bradley Bozeman, considering retirement center, Zion Johnson, McCuy Becht and guys who are along this offensive line
last year, who were key contributors and or banged up in the entire line suffered. But you look at what their
editions were. Tyler Badeia's in my opinion, my believe he was one of the first center sign in free agency. He was great in terms of
the price that they got him at when you're looking at guys like overall Tyler Linderbaum going for like $28 million per
year, solid signing of Tyler Badeia's for around 10 to 12 million. I think less than that per year. His contract was exactly $10
million per year, three years, $30 million. Of course, without the incentives, it's probably going to be a little bit
less than that. So that's an awesome addition if you start there. But look at what they did overall for this. So you
add Tyler Badeia's that's good. You add Cole Strange at guard. Okay, that's good. But then you're also adding guys like
Alec Ingold of fullback. You're adding Charlie Kohler who comes over from the Ravens who can block and also catch
but was buried behind Isaiah, likely a Mark Andrews there. This is what Mike McDaniel, the new offensive coordinator of the
Chargers wants to do. He wants to get guys in there who can help him establish his run game like he did with the 49ers
and with the dolphins. Now the only competition added to this backfield with Najee Harris still currently a
free agent doesn't look like he's coming back to the team was running back Keaton Mitchell. And this is
honestly a very good signing for the Chargers in real life. When you think about this backfield now,
you're going to get Amarion Hampton, their former first round pick by the way, right? You're going to get Keaton
Mitchell and you're going to get Kamani Vidal. Vidal who shown flashes in the past. Keaton Mitchell coming in as a
free agent who's dealt with injuries in the past, although an explosive player. And Amarion Hampton who looks
like you're all purpose tree down back. But Keaton Mitchell is an interesting fit. I saw some people on fantasy
Twitter and in general talking about how they'll have a bigger role than a lot of people expect. And I think
that is going to be true. He kind of embodies that the Von H. Han type role like Mike McDaniel have with the dolphins.
I mean, they're kind of similar in size. Keaton Mitchell is even a little bit smaller than H. Han, I believe,
188 pounds. We know what H. Han has done the past couple of seasons with Mike McDaniel as his coach.
You're looking at the RB 5 and fantasy points per game last year over 20 points per game in a terrible
situation or be six in fantasy points per game the year before that. Obviously they're not the same
players, but they came out at a similar time into the NFL and both of them were like one in two that
year and all time in yards per touch before Keaton Mitchell got injured in his first year with the
Ravens. And the other backfield competition is Kamani Vidal who we saw him carry a nice workload
last year when Amarion Hampton was injured. If we scroll down right here overall last season, he had
155 carries. He was averaging 4.2 yards per carry. So I mean, that's not terrible overall. According to
player profiler, when you look at the game logs, if you had Kamani Vidal off the waiver wire, you know,
we had a couple of big weeks in there, right? You're getting this game right here of 22.8 fantasy points,
19.7, 17.8, 20.7. These are all games of 100 plus yards, maybe a touchdown, but they're also games
where Amarion Hampton either did not play due to injury or he was coming back in his first game and
only playing like 30 to 40% of the snaps as they ramped him up. And you could see that right here,
the game logs for Amarion Hampton in his rookie year. According to player profiler, week one right here,
you see 78% of the snaps. Then you see he gets injured in week five, his next games week 14,
and he's limited 31% of the snaps, 37. Then he starts to get ramped up at the end of the year, 55,
and 81% of the snaps when he finally takes back over that backfield from weeks 14 through 16. He's
available. He takes it right back from Kamani Vidal. I don't expect it at all to be a big piece of
this offense. I don't expect him to be a massive piece of this offense. Sure, they'll be involved.
Hampton is not going to play 90% to 100% of the snaps, but this looks like right now the best
case scenario, if Mitchell was the only competition added here. Everything from the offseason works in
the favor of Amarion Hampton. First off, he has his first on draft capital. They're incentivized to
use him. They're still the same head coach there who drafted him and liked him last year. Now you're
getting Mike McDaniel, a run first coach coming in and they're shifting the offense to the run game
based on their free agency moves. We'll see what they do in the draft, but right now it's wheels
up for Amarion Hampton. Very similar to Ashton Gentie, these rookie running backs who were put in
bad situations last year, who some of them like Hampton dealt with injuries. Now you're heading into
the year two in better situations and still going to be a value in the second round. In my opinion,
a fantasy drafts right now next up. Let's talk about Brock Perty, a quarterback that I had in the
flock league last year took me to the champion ship. And as I said the other day, you see that trophy
back there on the floor right there. Yeah, where is there? We'll put an arrow to it. That's the
flock league championship. The flock league members watching this. You don't have one of those
because I got and there is our quota for smack talk. I really got to subdoom that, but you know,
it's top of mind. You got to you got to smack talk, right? You win the bragging, right? You might as
well use them. Now Brock Perty was a winner. We'll get back into it here from free agency. And
look, this guy has been a winner every single year in the NFL. I mean, you're talking about a
player who last year despite battling multiple different injuries. His entire team that self was
being a brand that I didn't play for the team. McAfry was the only one who stayed healthy. You're
still getting this guy ranking top 10 quarterback efficiency from a yards per attempt standpoint
last year. This is still a player who when he comes out there and plays has been great despite
battling some injuries. You look at his last three seasons as a true starter in the NFL quarterback
six and fantasy points per game quarterback 10 quarterback five has rushing ability as well as
red zone touchdown upside as well despite playing with Christian McAfry. So this is a situation
for Brock Perty where he's already been a very productive fantasy producer. Usually underrated
despite playing in a Kyle Shanahan system with very good pieces and offense year in and year out.
But now it's going to get even better for Brock Perty because he finally gets a true ex-wide
receiver for the first time since like 2023 healthy brand than I use with Mike Evans being there.
And sure Mike Evans is an older wide receiver but he's still a player who the last time we saw him
healthy was productive in the NFL. If you remember the last time we saw him healthy back in 2014 when
he played 14 games or 20 20 24 when he played 14 games. You're getting over a thousand yards
multiple touchdowns 110 targets even last year he was looking good before getting that hamstring
injury that kept him out over a month. Now that's the problem with Mike Evans one way or another
each of the four seasons whether it's been him missing eight games or him only missing one or two
or just being on the practice report he's had hamstring issues. And now he's getting older so
that's not great but this is a one year deal for $14 million. He wanted to be there it's not like
the Cooper Cup situation with the Rams where the Rams released him Mike Evans said no I don't
want to be here anymore even though Tampa wanted him back. So the signs are favorable and I know I
said it was a one year deal it is a three year deal technically but this is kind of like on paper
like the Stefan Diggs deal where after one year for $14 million they can get out of the Mike Evans
situation if they wanted to if they didn't get the Devonte Adams type production like Adams
have with the Rams and is coming back this year. So now Brock Purdy is a sneaky winner here.
You're going to have Mike Evans as your one Ricky Puryslaw as your two you have George Ghetto
who hopefully they're saying could be ready week one it wasn't the worst or a full Achilles
tear apparently and then you're going to get Christian McAfry as well. So overall the situation
looks pretty good I would say for the past catchers you're basically trading out from last year
like a Kendrick born and a Jawan Jennings and instead you're getting Mike Evans I'd probably take
that deal and basically you're swapping Jennings in the starting line up for Evans and yeah you're
taking that every day of the week. Now before we get into the next player I've got something great
to share with you. I've teamed up with DraftKings Pick 6 to give you more ways to enjoy watching the
sports you love. Now here's how it works. You pick more or less on two or more player stats and with
the NFL season over it could be basketball points rebounds and assists or any other sport you prefer.
So it's simple there's no complicated rules you just pick more or less on the player stats you
like and as your picks hit you stack up your returns. Now here's the part you need to hear new

In partnership with DraftKings Pick 6 the crown is yours. Up next will be the second year tight
and now after a solid rookie season at a Penn State Tyler Warren who plays for the Indianapolis
Colts look this is a guy in his rookie season where when you look at it he finished as a top 10
fantasy tight end third amongst all tight ends and targets at a 21.2% target share which is fantastic
especially for a rookie he was running 500 routes which is up there for the lead guy he was
finishing top four at the position in terms of slot usage and slot targets which is awesome for
fantasy production and his individual production was sort of night in day when Daniel Jones is
starting quarterback was healthy which you would probably expect through those first 12 games
of the season with the healthy Daniel Jones and even a couple of these games Jones wasn't fully
healthy you're getting 13 fantasy points per game would have been a top three finished top five
finished for sure at the position six and a half targets per game then those final five games
of the year it got really ugly when Daniel Jones went down only six fantasy points per game
despite still seeing the same amount of targets per game obviously if you're going to get Daniel Jones
who they're saying is going to be trending and healthy and that's why they resigned him to a two-year
extension 44 million dollars a year or so they're saying he's going to be healthy week one that's
going to help this offense already but then the other offseason moves for the Colts maybe don't
help them specifically as a team depending on your opinion of that but it's going to help Tyler
Warren's fantasy upside Alec Pierce resigns with the team four years 116 million so you're going
to get your intermediate to deep threat back in this offense on the outside that helps Tyler Warren
open things up on the underside on underneath where he should see a lot more targets now because the
Colts traded Michael Pitman to the Steelers after signing Alec Pierce to try and get some money
back off of Pitman's deal so what does this look like now for Tyler Warren a guy was coming into
a second year already after having a very strong first year well looks like a player who could soak
up a lot of these 111 targets six and a half targets per game last year that Michael Pitman was
seeing mostly in that short middle intermediate at most part of the field where Tyler Warren is going
to be operating the other player it benefits in that part of the field is Josh Downes who should now
enter the wider receiver rotation and two wider receiver sets who can play a lot out of this slot
as well like he did at UNC although he's also battle tested like we've seen at times although
limited in the NFL on the outside he should benefit as well but I would say the biggest
benefactor in general is going to be the upside of Tyler Warren we already know he was a strong
tight end fantasy option this year now he's on that borderline elite option because of the amount
of targets he might see entering year two where he himself should only get better at reading
defenses in the NFL next up we talked about him briefly earlier I want to talk about Ash
and Gentie here because this is a guy last year who literally as a rookie and maybe the worst
possible scenario put up between his rushing yards of 975 and his receiving years of 346
1300 total yards last year oh yeah 55 catches let's not forget the 10 touchdowns so a lot of
people who took Gentie at the one two turn last year were disappointed but when you look at his
numbers at the end of the year 1300 yards 10 touchdowns 55 catches in one of the worst
efficiency offenses we've seen in the past decade that's why the entire coaching staff was fired
and everybody on offense is getting replaced his offensive line also didn't help him Gentie was
number one in the NFL and stuffed runs he had that crazy stat that he had more yards after
contact and total yards last year because he was getting hit in the backfield so often their
offense last year ranked third to last this is in third overall I have this filtered backwards so
this is the third worst team in the NFL last year not just in run blocking but rushing offense so
one of the worst scenarios you could be in for a running back offensive line stung Colton Miller
their best piece on the offensive line got hurt and what happens you still put up 1300 yards 10
touchdowns that's solid it probably only gets better from there especially when you factor in the
Raiders are investing in this team they ended up going out there and getting offensive coordinator
Clint Kubiak as their next head coach he won a Super Bowl last year with the Seahawks his running
back from that Super Bowl was the MVP he had one of the best actually the best check this out
according to pff the Seahawks had the number one ranked rush offense last year so you're talking
about the Raiders who ranked 29th in the NFL third worst last year in rush offense now getting
the offensive coordinator who led the Seahawks to not only a Super Bowl win but the number one
rushing offense yes that alone is reasons to be happy about Ash and Gentie not even factoring
in the rest of the offseason moves so far in free agency and soon to be the draft I know yeah
one more quick step before we get into those the Raiders last year were dead last in yards per
game as a team on offense 245 they only had 2800 passing yards last year they were dead last in
rushing yards per game as well so obviously like the worst case scenario the Cardinals the Titans
the Saints are actually the Saints got better in the second half of the year but the Cardinals
the Titans the Jets were also terrible offenses and then there was like a big tear gap and that's how
bad the Raiders were last year and then the Raiders did a good amount of stuff in free agency if you
look at it right here you're going to get Tyler Linderbine in my opinion was the best overall player
in free agency definitely on offense the center signs that's going to boost their offensive line
he is arguably the best but definitely a top three run blocking center that helps Gentie
add a couple of wide receivers Jalen Naylor being the big one for 10 million dollars a year
and they add a full back counter hayword which tells you clink ubi ex again and want to run the ball
not only that they're going to get from an oven doza the number one overall picking the draft
that quarterback that should boost this offense as well as a smart player in mendoza who doesn't
make a lot of mistakes and when you pair that player who will check the ball down for sure he's not
the most mobile quarterback with this offense and everything that's there and now you have Gentie
coming into year two who a lot of people are going to forget how good he was his final year of college
2600 rushing yards almost 3000 total yards 30 touchdowns almost 400 carries this guy was a
workhorse he went in the first round in the top half the top 10 picks of the first round for a reason
i think he enters year two in a much better situation and builds off of already a quality
year last year as his rookie 1300 yards 10 touchdowns 55 catches now before we get into the number

last year or you had phomo from not using it and winning your league and making the playoffs
make sure you're on it this year so you can get it at the cheapest price you know you're going to
buy it in August you might as well get it at a cheaper price when I send it to you before that June
1st release link down below blueprint drop.com now the number one fantasy riser from free agency
has to be without a doubt Kenneth Walker and it's probably not even close because he obviously
was the biggest free agency mover he goes from what looked like a 2025 like if you look at this he's
on the chiefs now he comes from the Seahawks right he won the MVP but if you look at his regular
season if you were fantasy manager of Kenneth Walker you just hated his guts in the playoffs when
he was actually starting to play good he ranked 28th last year overall and fantasy points per game
that's not good for the regular season if he took him probably in round four maybe round five
and the reason was his role reduced under clink ubiak only 47% of the snaps 51% of its
opportunities Zach Charbonne went from being a 50 50 backfield guy went in previous seasons before
that before getting a new offensive coordinator last year Zach Charbonne was a clear backup and
then he gets to the playoffs when Zach Charbonne tears his ACL and you know what happened from
there 100 yard game against San Fran when you factor in his receiving arts he had 100 yard
game in their victory in the AFC championship against the Rams and then of course in the
Super Bowl he wins the MVP he goes for 29 touches in that game if we pull it up right here you
remember it by now 29 touches 27 on the ground 135 yards had a couple of receptions wins the MVP
because of that his price became way too expensive to stay with this team or even be franchise tag
the way that they wanted to work their team he hit the free agency market where a lot of teams
wanted him the giants the Broncos it was ultimately the chiefs who got him at three years 45
million a massive 28.7 million dollars guaranteed for the running back position this is going to
be their clear rb1 this is a guy who the chiefs have been dying for an explosive runner and last
year despite a limited role still ranked third and breakaway runs and fourth and explosive play
rating in the entire NFL and when you look at the chiefs backfield now Karim Hunt as of this
recording is still free agent he's not going to return to the team Isaiah Pacheco is gone and they
signed him already Mercado to likely be the number two or three running back formerly of the Cardinals
has had a couple of good games here in there but he's nowhere near a real threat to Kenneth Walker
so you're getting this being the Kenneth Walker show former 7th round pick for Shard Smith who
is a former wide receiver slash running back in college hybrid player he's going to be on the team
so Zomar D Mercado when you look at this backfield competition as it stands right now it's hard to
not see Kenneth Walker probably seeing somewhere between 60 and 70 percent of the snaps at least
Kenneth Walker has never been a great past catching running back but when he was used more in that
role back in 2024 he was pretty solid and it's why I want to be shocked that the chiefs give him
a little bit more work there as well the biggest problem for Kenneth Walker is the fact that he's
not an awesome past protector hopefully he gets a little bit better there this offseason although
I don't see that happening all that much but you can kind of hide him in past protection with
the good offensive coordinator I expect Andy Reed to do that and if the chiefs just get average
quarterback play until Patrick Mahomes returns or if Mahomes doesn't miss any time at all I think
you're going to see Kenneth Walker being an RB1 overall infanity meaning a top 12 running back
if not ranked out as a top 10 running back now we'll see once I get my rankings in store and see
where he compares next like an astringentian and Marty on Hampton they're all going to be pretty close
at like that second round maybe early mid second round turn so these are the players skyrocketing
up the rankings right now this is kind of going to be it for free agency base videos next week we
start to get into the draft with some ranking the 10 best running backs and water sewers in the draft
those incoming rookies that you need to know about before your league mates I appreciate you tuning
in a ton if you want to get on the weight list for the blueprint at the cheapest price go to
BlueprintDrop.com and I'll see you all beautiful people in the next one
