2024年8月20日，《黑神話：悟空》登頂多國遊戲暢銷榜，實現了中國大陸3A遊戲零的突破，而它在美術方面極其傑出地再現了佛教藝術、中國古建築的風采，也使它突破了遊戲的圈子，而得到了藝文界、學術界甚至官方媒體一致的肯定。這是海內外無數華人期盼已久的一天，我們終於在文化工業上有了這樣一款根植於傳統，而能與歐美日一流作品比肩，甚至有所超越的大作。這一天，我們等很久了。
除了經濟上的成功和「文化輸出」這等民族主義快樂丸，對遊戲人來說，它更加意義深遠的價值是，從今以後，在文化的位格上，電子遊戲總算是真能實實在在地和建築、電影等高居殿堂的綜合藝術形式等量齊觀了。
