到2035年，我国60周岁及以上老年人口将突破4亿，银发经济规模将从现在的7万亿元增长到30万亿元左右，潜力巨大。
银发经济有哪些机会呢？其实老年人的需求是多层次和多元化的，不同年龄段有不同的个性化差异。比如刚退休的老人对工作没有迫切的需要，且有稳定的退休金，应该丰富他们的旅游文娱体育教育等活动。超高年龄段的老年人行动不便，这些活动就不再适用，而对于医疗和护理的需求会大大增加。除此之外，备老人群的需求又不一样，他们的经济基础好，消费强劲，更注重为未来老年生活做准备的消费。这个阶段进行的财富储备和健康管理也会是一大需求。
