You're listening to Believe You Me with Michael the CountBiz Bing and Paul Felder.
Woosa!
Ladies and gentlemen, we're back.
It's a Tuesday.
I look like I'm coming at you from some kind of...
You look like me.
Foreign.
They should be like teleportal thing.
I'm still in England.
We're going strong.
So, yes, this is the best lighting situation.
You would have loved the podcast if we played the first five minutes of me screaming and shouting
and looking light bulbs and all kinds of stuff.
That's really great.
We've got Mason Jones coming on.
Who had an amazing fight at the weekend.
Israel had a son.
We're going to talk about all of that stuff.
We're going to throw in some UFC London stuff.
But as I always say, Paul, how the bloody hell are you, sir?
I am good, sir.
I'm well-rested from my trip back from London.
Man, and you know, I know we're going to have Mason on.
And I know we're going to talk all the good stuff that London had to offer.
But boy, did we get some shit?
And is the world split or what on what that situation was with Murphy and Evloyev?
Well, dude, at first I was like, oh, maybe me and Mike were way too heavy on Murphy.
And I got real worried that maybe I didn't give justice to Evloyev, but everyone's split.
So it's like, we didn't do anything wrong.
Everyone's like, bro, bro, I looked at Twitter as I was heading back to the whole time.
Yeah, me too.
The amount of abuse.
We need shit too.
Like, we should be fired.
We shouldn't call fights anymore.
It's like, good God, man.
We should be used, right?
I get it a lot, but this was tremendously high.
And it threw me back to when I last called a Le Roe Murphy fight against Josh Evans.
And it was the same thing then.
And that was also me and you.
Oh my God.
Listen.
Mason Jones is backstage.
So we don't want to keep you waiting.
So let's get Mason on.
Before we talk to Mason about his amazing fight at the weekend.
I want to know his opinion.
What was your opinion?
There we go.
There he is.
I'm good, bro. How are you doing?
Yeah. Oh, good.
A little bit bruised.
Nothing too bad.
Yeah.
Yeah, good. I'm good. I'm really good.
Sunny back in sunny Wales.
The the lip looks extremely painful and sore.
It's just bruised like inside.
No, it was cut.
It's just fat.
It was the spit and elbow clip me.
It hit me lovely and in the lip to be fair.
Like, that was the one thing I.
I know I didn't see it come in.
I'll see because it dropped me.
But it was a one thing.
Even though we did so much breakdown on everything he did.
It was the one thing we sort of didn't assume he would do.
And.
I was lean that my head was heavy over the left hand side.
I kept the behind the knee, but I kept my head broken on the left hand side mainly just.
He take a part his left hand.
He's a lovely leap in the left hand.
So we kept the head over the left hand side.
I was in and out.
It's moving well.
And then the spin and elbow actually nailed me in the teeth.
So yeah, it was fun.
It was fun.
It was.
He's a great fighter.
He was undefeated.
You took a few shots.
We can see that on your face.
Holy cow Mason.
And I said this on the broadcast.
You wanted a refined performance.
You were going to pay for shots.
You were going to do this.
You were going to do that.
You're going to be an elite tactician.
We don't want that.
I want you to fight the way you fought every single time.
Because that's why you got the bonus.
That's why you are Mason, the Dragon Jones.
And that fight was bloody phenomenal.
Congratulations, my friend.
Thank you very much.
I would have generally been happy with Nathaniel Woods'
performance, where he was very technical, very tight.
He was in and out.
His footwork was nice.
And I was a plan.
And then everything started well.
I started to take the edge away from him.
I was coming in and I was with range.
When I listened to it back.
And I literally heard you say,
you need to get, you need to get dropped four years ago.
And I was like, no, no, no, no.
I was talking about a red heron.
And then I was dropped my hands a little bit on the way out.
But this was more the spin elbow hit me on the way in.
That was the thing that really sort of,
it did change the tempo of the fight.
Because after that, I cut him open.
And I was really happy cutting him open around the corner.
I asked my corner if they thought I lost.
And they said, yeah, you've definitely lost that round.
It was like it was cloaks, but you didn't do enough.
Just go out there and just keep hitting that eye.
And then obviously that was where you've seen the second round,
where I started almost walking him down.
A little bit too keen.
It wasn't until a third.
I put this on Twitter.
It wasn't until the third when I watched it back.
The second round I watched it with my head and my hands.
Because it wasn't until the third.
I actually blocked the shot with my hands.
I forgot to actually block.
But yeah, it was, it was more it is like,
I had a wait a time.
And I always, I love fighting.
I just love the violence of it.
And his wrestling we knew was going to be strong.
I really genuinely thought I would be able to isolate his rest a little bit more.
Made a few one or two mistakes.
I ditched the wizard on the cage and one of the exchanges.
But again, every time he managed to get the takedown down,
I was moving.
I scrambled well.
I swept him once or twice, work my way back up.
And when he hit the urinary, the sweeplex.
I tried the headpokes and he was a little bit too big.
Because I landed on my head and he dragged me through.
Rather than me coming to the back door.
And as soon as we hit, I bumped him off, work my way back up.
And I kicked him in the body.
And he just broke, I could tell he broke.
Especially after I kicked him in the head and the third.
And in the wide words, in the wise words of my band,
half, if I put my head through that kick,
I probably would have knocked him out.
And he was so worried about him catching that kick.
And him having that range and that reach advantage.
And I didn't really want him to be resting with him too much.
Where he's lean on me.
But he wanted to catch a kick to rip that nice and high.
He's already tall.
And then ended up hitting with him, tying me down.
So I was more worried about me changing my leg and it worked out.
Mason, how fucking big is that kid when you're in there with him?
Because we were talking about it on the broadcast.
Because you know, when he debuted, obviously he fought at 170 pounds.
So that was the first time I saw him fight at lightweight in person.
And I don't think of you as an undersized lightweight by any means.
But holy shit, the kid is, is a big boy in there.
So I walked at about 178 pound.
I think fully dressed with a track suit and the whole jazz on.
I was about 179.
So I think I had about two pounds of clothes on basically.
So I think I was like 177 and a half, 178.
I think he probably added about three or four pound on me minimum.
But he was just huge.
He was just.
Yeah, he was a big old boy.
It was a big old boy.
You might have heard of the second you got Mason.
We were talking about the main event.
And we're just getting, you know, called every name under the sun.
We're biased with this with that and all the rest of it.
I'm assuming you watched the main event.
Yes.
How did you have it scored?
And I just want to point this out.
My sister-in-law is Welsh.
And she hates the English with an absolute passion.
Now, I don't know if you hate the English, but I'm saying that because whatever you say,
I'm assuming you're not saying it because you're biased.
With the proviso.
How did you score the main event?
So I had it and two rounds the Murphy and three rounds to Mosev.
But they was the minus point.
So yeah, so it should be.
But I think what people get carried away is is people don't score things run by round.
And I've had this argument with so many people.
They'll be like, oh, yeah, but the first round will go in neon's way.
And then obviously the momentum switch, like, oh, Mosev one.
But they it doesn't score like that.
You have to score it round by round.
And if you look at it, round by round, I had.
Lee Roman in the room.
Winning round one.
The room.
Winning round two.
Mosev edge out round three.
Mosev winning round four.
Mosev winning round five.
You take away the minus point.
It's a draw.
But I know I just.
So I know you said about hating English.
I don't hate English people.
I hate full stop.
I just hate full stop people.
I don't.
I don't differentiate between nationalities and stuff.
But I hate the idiots more than anything else.
And the amount of idiots involved in sport.
God, dude, you know, you might have heard a little bit.
Me and Mike were saying we're getting.
Just blasted by these people.
And as an athlete, you know what it's like when you're in there.
And it's kind of similar for us, Mason.
Like when we're on the outside and we're watching you guys,
we're involved and engaged in what's going on.
And sometimes we get talking about one thing or the other.
It's we're not scoring fights.
We're not trying.
We're not influencing.
Oh, judging.
You know, and it's just amazing.
And the world seems to be split with that one.
But listen, they weren't split with your fight.
You clearly took over after round one and started to dominate that fight.
What does Mason Jones do after getting $100,000 bonus for the first time
with the big bonuses?
And how do you celebrate?
You don't strike me as a guy as a big partier or anything like that.
You seem to be a food guy.
So what have you done to enjoy yourself since getting that bonus?
Right.
So I'll see the bonus takes eight weeks.
A lot of people don't know at home.
Yeah.
Eight weeks to actually get paid.
I remember seeing Lona at the hotel.
I'm just talking to Lona and he's like,
I'm still waiting for mine.
I was like, wow, it's a long old wait.
When you don't, when you don't need it, it's not because like,
I don't need the hundred K this time.
Like my purse was good.
I didn't.
I managed to the last fight.
I managed to pay off a lot of the bills I had.
I almost got it.
I've got a little bit of bills on my camp to pay.
But my time I get my fight person stuff.
We wouldn't made money anyway.
So it's nice to actually fight and make money before I get the $100,000 bonus.
I am always.
I don't know what you two gentle like after fights.
But I never sleep.
I'm not a part.
Yeah, I don't go out and drink.
I haven't drunk in eight years, but we went to the hotel.
My coaches were celebrating.
You've seen the video where I was on the phone with my manager.
And then while we were watching the stream,
amigo and nuts, we stayed around for another hour.
And then when people started a little bit rowdy,
we didn't Irish accent slipped off.
We went to the hotel.
My older food and we literally going to bed.
I had a shower.
We got another shower going to bed.
And watched a bit of TV.
And then when I had started to fall asleep,
literally give her a kiss and go on and get some sleep.
Turned her iPad off and we went to sleep.
And I sat down red until 5 a.m.
And then 5 a.m. I ordered McDonald's breakfast.
That did.
I went and met some delivery driver excited.
I was.
So did you have nothing?
Double sausage.
No, nothing because obviously I can't eat the bread.
And then I brought it back in this paper bag.
And when I was like regular in the bag,
I could see a stir and she's like,
shit.
So when in the toilets in the pitch flag.
And then two sausage and egg muffins.
I'll sat in the toilet with our friends.
That looks nice.
That's a nice.
Everywhere.
Went back sat in bed.
Side reading again.
And then I'm starting to get tired at about quarter to six.
So I was like, right, I'm starting to get tired.
The caffeine all in the adrenaline must be wearing off.
I'll try and sleep.
So I let down.
And started to fall asleep.
And then 7 o'clock.
I.
Or 7 30.
She woke me back up.
And now we got up and went on with our day.
So it was good.
I went.
We went the road for lunch, which was a place in near the hotel.
It was just opposite over the river.
I read reviews of it because it is a foodie place.
They're top 100.
One of the top 100 restaurants in the UK.
They recognize me.
When I sat down,
which was nice.
And then they give us load of food free.
Sorry.
There you go.
So much food.
What is the book that you were reading so 5 a.m.?
I.
I only read fiction.
I won't read nonfiction mainly because I always say like,
I'm so busy.
With like nine or five different things.
I like just to switch off.
I don't really watch TV.
I don't really watch films too much anymore.
I like to just read.
So this one.
I don't really watch TV.
I don't really watch TV.
I don't really watch films too much anymore.
I like to just read.
So this one.
I like to just read.
So this one.
Is.
Ignition by Seth.
Ring.
So it's just absolute nonsense.
And I read a.
Like an old Russian.
It's a marriage version of a Russian genre about them.
Let the RPGs.
It's all like statistics and scores and stuff like that.
And sort of about all of our fighting and killing people.
And murderers and stuff like that.
All the good stuff.
Protein is now at Starbucks.
And it's never tasted so good.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
You can add protein.
Cold foam to your favorite drink.
Or try one of our new protein lattes or matcha.
Try it today at Starbucks.
Is there an opponent that you have in mind next Mason?
I would like to say yes.
Because you've got to say yes.
You've got to say yes.
The whole plan after like before this fight when I was running was I wanted to fight
Michel Darius or one of the King Michael Changat Benille.
Daniel Darius is fighting Sally cattle on May 9th leg second.
Sorry.
And obviously Michael Changat is right no on the White house cars, so last up the way.
So, then it's like, well, who in the top 15 does not have a opponent I'd want to fighting and
I was looking at it and there's so many names there are so many people fighting.
So, my plan, is I put the flight today to go to Vegas so I'm ready Vegas next week.
next week. So I'll be at the US CPI if any you're about a week today. I'm going to meet
Gray because he's living out there now. Go to the US CPI and see what their interest is
when I'd be out again. I'm going to I got to swing by California on the way out just to pick
up some stuff. I left a load of on-extraining kit that I'd ordered that finally turned
up. I got some mail. I looked jewelry and clothes. I'd left in the house there. I'll find
roommate. I'll be right back. He's looking at the top 15 here and fights back. Is Fazeev
is in there? Fazeev. Yeah, these are loads. And that old fight, Dan Hocker. Oh yeah,
Dan Hocker would be a crazy fight. That's a good one. Dan Hocker's, yeah, Dan Hocker's
another fight. Fazeev, Dan Hocker. I'd fit a fight Dan Hocker and Fazeev. Yeah, Dan Hocker
gets you in the top 10 if you beat him. Yeah, but there's a lot. And the thing is, you never know
how the USC's gonna play it. Because sometimes they're like, you have to fight 15 to 15 to 13. You
have to fight one of those three. And other times then, they're like, you're on the outskirts
and all of a sudden you fight number eight. So I don't really know how the USC do it, how they
decide, I'm just interested in fighting some of the top 15 at going to number next. My name,
I think after that performance, man, I think you'd be surprised at where you might end up. Because,
I mean, me and Michael, we've been talking to Dan and when he came in, he was, you know,
talking to people, taking pictures and there was a little break and it was a little bit after
your fight. And we were both saying, how like holy shit, that's, that's what we're here to see,
right? When you guys laid on the line because it was technical, it was violent, it was back and forth,
and you took over, it was bloody. It's, it's not that you have to go out there and let technique
and let game plans go out the window. I think you guys both showed that you can do that and it can
still be an absolute war. Just have fun. Like I remember watching you fight all those years and
you always had fun. And that was a thing. It's like, it is, it is a pleasure to be in there. Like,
I said before this, I chose this journey. Like after I left UFC last time and everything went on,
I was at my low points and then I needed surgery and I had debts and I had all this stuff. It was
like, you have to choose to get up and do it. And I chose to do it. Like so, all right, yeah, hard
on me. I needed knee surgery. I was in debt. I was struggling. I had no income, but it's because I
chose to do it. Like I could have chose to get a job and I could have chipped away and I would be
off by now. Like I chose to be there. So go up, go in there and enjoy yourself, strap in. What's
the point going in there? And I'm not having fun. I just don't. Well, Mason, you should be proud
of yourself. It was an awesome performance. It broke the old too. It got you a bonus. And more
importantly, I think get your big fights going forward. So we had to have you on. Felder was like,
we've got to get Mason. We've got to get Mason. It seems like you too. You might hate Englishman,
but you love the Irish dragon by the sounds of it. I've been a massive Paul Felder fan. I've been
a massive Paul Felder fan for years. Obviously, best thing. You're still up there with the greatest
UK fights of all time as well. Don't over say yourself. I did laugh. And I will say this though,
when I pulled him outside the hotel and you managed to gnaw see the curve and dripped over the
curve and in your town. I was like, Paul, I said, I said, Paul, I said, Paul, I said,
Paul, I said, Paul, I said, Pisman, didn't you see the curve? He looked at me. He said,
fuck right off. Well, I don't know if you know this, but having one eye can be problematic.
I know that's right. Mason, enjoy this time, man. We're going to let you go. But honestly,
be proud of yourself. That was awesome, man. Congratulations, brother.
No, I'm massive fans, boys. Thank you so much for having me on and honestly, it's my pleasure.

What a way. I said McDonald's in the bathroom. What a way to celebrate 100k.
I wanted to ask because he said the bonus takes eight weeks. I'm not sure if that's
the UFC delaying it or I think what it might be because I remember when I was living in England
and I would get paid in checks from America, when I would bring it back and there were large numbers,
they had to verify it and send it off for collection, I think they call it. And it would take
bloody ages. So anyway, whatever. That's something nice to look forward to.
Women, hopefully, can treat themselves as something a bit more than some double
Egg McMuffins at 4 a.m. in the bathroom. So back to what we were saying. And we're not going
to spend too much time talking about UFC London because it's Tuesday. We've kind of missed
the hype in England. It's pouring down with God damn rain and cold and freezing. It was beautiful
and sunny last week, but it is depressing right now. We have the best weather. So one, two, I had
the wrong three. I remember on the night thinking the wrong, but then I did a post show without
them in Nick. And I think I said this on commentary. There was a big shot from Mobsar at the end of
the third round. And I did say, maybe that was enough to steal it. So anyway, whatever.
The reality is he won the fight according to the score cards. He will, so now he's 20 and now.
And here's another thing as well. I think he was Teddy Atlas. How was he Teddy Atlas? I heard
someone say this and it's a really good point. If a fight's close, you want to look at both fighters
at the end of the fight and say, which one would you rather be? And out of that fight, you'd
rather be Mobsar. Yeah. Yeah. Listen, I think if there's no point deduction, I think hands down. Yeah,
he won that fight three rounds to two, where I was kind of worried for him. And ultimately,
it worked out for him because the judges gave it to him and they had him winning more rounds
than we thought. And they were close rounds. I don't have a problem with it. What drives me nuts
is that just the community now. And I think a lot of it has to do with that. Everyone's betting on
these damn things that if it doesn't seem like we're talking in their way, they just take it
and get so pissed off. And it's like, I even talked to Zach about it too because after the fight,
I was asking, I was like, what did you think of that fight? This and that. And I said, I thought he
won the first two rounds. And then the third round, I thought was really close, but I can see how
Mozart stole it in the end with that shot, just like we talked about in the broadcast.
So I didn't let it, I didn't let any of that shit after that. All the Twitter stuff bother me
because I also, and how split everyone was like, you got Al Jermaine on Murphy's side. You
got the law, who's commenting about how, you know, it was way more hands down for a blow. And then
you got everybody going back and forth. I'm like, well, if everybody's going back and forth like
that, just go show you how close the damn fight was. And then you can't really complain either way.
And yeah, like we're not on Murphy because he's from the UK. And then people were bringing up
the Muslim thing. And it's like, the Rome Murphy's Muslim himself, I'm pretty sure.
Well, I have no idea about that. I know. I'm definitely not against the lawyer because any of
that bullshit. It's insane. I am never biased to English fires. I like them. I admire them.
I adove. I admire all fires that step foot in the cage and I wish them all the best. You know,
you could honestly, I'm never biased. I just call it literally like I see it, you know,
but I'm thinking in a third way and you don't agree is the betting. Yeah, you know, whatever,
who cares? Okay, let's talk about it. Hey, we're going to talk about this. I just want to say
real quick. I'm disappointed in you, Mr. Felder. Why? I mean, I'll explain now. I want to say a big
special shout out because everyone you came on the best big run Saturday morning. I put a little
post out because I was because I go and runs and I put a little thing out. I said this on the video.
And people always like, you go for running London this been or going for a run. I'd love to come
for a run with you sometime. And I was running with my brother in California. We had our shirts off
the vibes were good, you know, and I'm in a good mood. The endorphins are going. So I'm like,
you know, if you were to go for a run in London, let's do it Saturday morning. I had no idea.
Like 250 people or something were outside. It was absolute carnage chaos. It was an awesome time.
Everyone had a big smile on the faces. We ran to this farm. We ran around a few times.
Did a little Q&A, a bunch of pictures. Melissa Mullin showed up. Obviously, her
opponent missed weight by eight pounds. So she came and did the run. Oh, nice. There's no
shoe there. Yeah, Nathan Fletcher was there. Yeah, it was great, man. It was great. So thank you
to everyone that showed up. Paul Felder, you know, Mr. I run for a living, you know, did it show up?
I'm biking for a living now. I might do another one in Perth. So Paul, if you all come to
two in a row, I'll be there in Perth. If you don't come to Perth, we're going to have a serious
issue. No, Perth, I can go. Are we calling Perth together then? Yeah. Okay, good. We're calling Perth.
How is it? How the hell are you? I am wonderful. I'm refreshed and rejuvenated,
back from from, whoa, what's up? What is the puff? No. That's the exact opposite of
Scott since London. I've stopped since I got off the plane. Oh, God, you know, where were you
Harrington? I was I was in a Los Cabos, Mexico. No cartels? No, no cartels down there, dude. There
was a quite a few. The cartel was the people trying to sell stuff on the beach because they will
not stop, dude. It's constant. But other than that, it's, you know, clean sale and it was a very fun
time. Let me ask the day off for you, illicit substances. Really trying to sell you cocaine.
I mean, it was, it was, yeah, a lot of like, it was, it was dudes holding iguanas with sombreros
on. Be like, take a picture with the iguana, weed cocaine, marijuana cocaine.
Oh, yeah. Same thing when I went to Cabo, walking around every five seconds, you know,
you're even in London. When I went to one of those little shops and I saw they had like the
nicotine pouches that I really like and they had all the crazy flavors. So I stopped in. I was
walking on my reach. And the guy got in and I'm like, buying them. And he's like, oh, cool,
how many do you want this? And then he's like, you want weed brother? You want some weed?
Weed? I got, I got, I got gummies. I got really good gummies. I got babes. You want babes?
I was like, I'm good with the pouches, dude. I'm good with the pouches for now.
We're going to buy some London street weed from some little bodega shop.
No, not a good choice. Not a, not a very good choice.
Is there any big breaking news that we need to get to? Obviously, we've got
Israel out of signifying this weekend. We're going to talk about that card. Paul will be leaving
tomorrow. I'm assuming Paul. What's today? Monday? Tuesday. Tuesday. I leave Thursday morning
because I'm working the desk. I get to go a day later. Yeah. Okay. Because when I said to do it
today, I was like, crap, Paul might be traveling. No, no, yeah. I don't have to go as early
just because I'm doing the desk. So I get there. I leave early. Now I'm worried about leaving
tomorrow because this is the first trip with all the TSA stuff going on in Philly that I'm leaving
like prime time morning flight. I'm like, oh, my God, do my flights at 7 a.m. So that's probably
prime time for TSA to be backed up. I'm nervous. Yeah. Anytime you go in the morning, it's always a
pair. Yeah. Morning flight sort of nightmare. Got to give a quick shout out though. Before we move
off London, he's all about an Aussie. Keep an eye on that name. He's an unbelievable man. I mean,
yeah, Austin Lane coming out from heavyweight. It affects your ability to take a shot, but even still
28 seconds or whatever it was right hand left dog. He's got the touch of death. He's got the dim
mark. The dim mark. He really does though. It's insane, man. He's got crazy power. So we'll be
seeing him. What else did we have? I'm just looking at the fight card. Uh, Mac over the page. Yeah,
a bit of a sleeper versus partisan. Yeah. And that was on both guys to be fair, right? Yeah.
You know, I know MVP came out and he kind of was critical of Sam for not engaging. And it's like,
I know, but at what point do you then have to engage? Because nobody wants to engage with you
because of your style. You're you're one of the best counter-strikers out there. He's
I don't know, man. That's a tricky spot to be in for both guys. That was a real shit fight to
be to be fair, but I get it. You know, you're waiting for somebody to engage you and they don't want
to. Sam wasn't very aggressive either. Well, he runs the rescue. I did a video on this. I won't
talk about it too much because people might have seen it, but he looks for that one shot, the flying
the spinning elbow, whatever it is. So he's very patient and calculated and typically he catches
people as they're rushing him, but he was waiting to deliver something spectacular. The risk with
that style is that if you don't deliver something spectacular, it's boring. You can have 50. Yeah,
because people going, and then wow, oh my god, you know, but if you don't get that,
yeah, then you get that. What we just saw. Anyway, Mobsaw, what was what was, what was,
I was going to say, oh, Ben Elliott, Mason, what was he calling Mobsaw? Mobsaw?
Oh, was he? I didn't even know. Mobsaw for something. So obviously, that's supposed to be a
number one contender matchup, but I saw John Silver. He was there all week, and he was vibing
now. He was having a good time. At one point, I saw him in front of the elevators, which is right
in the hotel lobby, as you know. Yeah. Just dancing by himself. Yeah, I'm like, you good,
that, John? Yeah, good brother. And Dana, Dana didn't come right out and say that that's the next
one in line. He told me I'm fighting for the belt next. Now, you never know, John, because he's,
you know, he's a wild guy. He's a little off the wall, so I'll just speak. So I don't know if he was
just like saying it to say. Just, you know, I like him. Every time I see him, I say hi to him,
he's always really nice. He is not so. I mean, he is not. And he is thick, because he,
we had a little wrestle in the lobby. He looked a little formal. And Jesus Christ, man, he was
strong as hell. He was strong as hell. So you're not commenting. So you can make actually a prediction.
On the easy fight, because I thought that was going to be have to be me doing all the heavy lifting.
And there's been room is floating around the arm and saw Rook. You might go down to 145.
I spoke to him on the Jackson podcast. He talked about that there. He said, if he doesn't get
a title, fight at 155, then he'll consider it, because he wants to be a champion.
Did he put a tweet out or something? I think he did. Saying it's a time to give me this shot at
the belt and something like that. And he's already trying to put himself in that situation,
which he's not, he's not going to get. But I'm just curious what he walks around that when he's
fighting on 155 that he thinks he can make. I know he's not a tall guy, but he's definitely a
muscled up mother effort. I'm just moving the camera a little bit close to me. So I can match
you. And we look perfect, even though I'm a little, what would you, what's it called? I look like
I've got jaundice. Yeah. I'm very yellow. Yeah, a little yellow. All right, today's episode is

Oh, I mean, it's up to you. I think the, I don't know. I mean, the rumor swirling that
McGregor might be coming back for International Fight Week. He says that it's against a former
BMF. So, you know, the list is short of possible opponents at 170. And then a couple,
a couple of big fight bookings too. Yeah, but hold on. I'm not, but all is coming back for that
counter fight. Hold on, hold on, on that hammer. Instead of that, because you put something else
in the notes about a quote from Dana and Nate Dears, right? Just, just give me the color on that
place. Uh, okay. So Dana says that he did meet with Nate before he signed on to fight Mike
Perry on the MVP card. Um, you know, they talked back and forth. He said that Nate was given an
offer. He couldn't refuse and, uh, he wishes them well. Yeah. So Dana and Dears, Matt,
Dears says he was given an offer that he couldn't refuse, said no to the UFC Dana wished him well.
Yeah, that's the, that is the quote that I have here. Because, because I, I don't know who said it,
but there was someone talking. It wasn't anyone official, but someone was saying, oh, yeah,
Dears versus, uh, McGregor three is going to happen. And then I saw the booking against Mike Perry.
I don't mind. Sounds like they were trying to make it happen.
Uh, well, but she, Marseidol was all with us. Remember, and he was really trying to push for
getting that fight with Connor on the White House car, but we know that they're not trying to get
Connor on the White House. They need to sell tickets with Connor. They're not trying to get,
you know, they, they were strategic on who's going to be on the White House car because of all the
stuff that they've already got to put into it to, to make that event happen. Connor versus
Marseidol, he's a former BMF and, and Marseidol was saying they were getting close and he felt good
about that fight happening. Well, that would make complete effing sense for him to fight. A,
if it's at 170, like we're talking about, it wouldn't be Max, right? That was another one I was
thinking, but Max is not picking up fairly for 155, yet alone 170. He's a,
Hamilton, did he need something? I'm just going to give a little collar on the Mosvedol situation.
Mosvedol says that he too got an offer for the MVP card, says that he got an offer before
Nate Diaz even did. He went to the UFC to discuss it. He said the UFC has a plan for him
that he believes in that he wants to stick to and it's too good for him to pass up, so he is going
to stick. He is going to make his UFC return. Connor Mosvedol, international fight week.
Yeah, that's what it sounds like now with that last tidbit from Harrington. I wasn't trying to
kick you off Harrington, but it seems to be something going on. I mean, I'm looking yellow. It's not
my best week in terms of technical set up, but there was some kind of blemishing going on with
your thing. I'm like, we can't have two out of three looking at all messed up. So,
unless you got something good, get out of here, bro. Connoversy Mosvedol, I like it. I like it.
He did call out Max Holloway. So sorry, pardon me. Max Holloway has been calling him out.
I would like that one as well. Yeah, I'd like that one too, but I'd like that one at
not that it matters. I mean, Connoversy true 55er himself and Max is really
up between her and probably now really more of a 55er himself, but I just don't think Conno
wants to cut the weight. I don't think he wants to cut the weight. And if he wants to fight at 70,
like he's saying, he even said he would like to fight at 185 and cut zero weight.
Let's be honest, Conno doesn't need to cut weight. Conno doesn't need to cut weight. Conno could
just say, I'm going to fight at 170. Give me someone that is around that weight, or 155er,
or even not a well to weigh, but you know, someone like that. And they'll come up to fight Conno,
you know, because everyone's going to want to take that because regardless of, you know,
yes, it's been, it's crazy. His last fight against Justin Paulier was 2021.
That's five years ago. Yeah. Five years, right? So, and it's wild because, yes, the sports moved on,
of course, but you can't pretend that he didn't come in and just absolutely shaped things up
and take off with the sport because he did. So there's a lot of people clamoring to see him.
You know, there's a lot of intrigue to see if he's still got it. If he's still the same person,
can he come back? Can he reclaim his greatness and all the rest of it? So there's a lot of intrigue
there, you know, so I'm, yeah, I'm interested in Masvidol. It's been five years, and I'll be honest,
I'll tune in. I want to watch it. I want to see, can he come back and look anywhere near as good?
I don't think so, but I think the fight makes sense with Masvidol. He hasn't fought in the UFC
in years. Conor's been out for years. I think Masvidol, though, has been in touch with it,
a whole lot more. And just around the game, he's still at ATT working with all the guys,
helping people out. He's had boxing fights. He's had other things. Yeah, I don't know how well
I go. That's a tricky one, man, against, against Masvidol. I mean, look what he did down until
in London. Remember that knockout there? He had a sick boxing fight against Nadia's at the home
center. Well, around it, man, like he can mix it up. Like the dude's pretty good everywhere.
Yeah. Yeah. So all right. Okay. So, where Israel had a son is back in action. We spoke to Joe
Pye for when was that last week, I think? Something like that. You know, Joe. Yeah.
He's doing well. He's on a tear. He's got crazy power. He's found God.
God. And he's got a big opportunity against Israel,
Adesonia. You see? He's lost four out of five. He's coming towards the end of his career.
Still feels like he's got it. He was showed well. He's still got it. He's still a viable contender.
Joe Pye is not an easy man to be, but Israel, Adesonia is the second most successful
middleweight that the sports ever seen. But he's lost four out of his last five.
What do you think happens in this five? I think
prediction wise or just how I think the fight's going to shake out.
Yeah. Well, let's start without you think he's going to shake out.
Well, I think Joe is is going to try to use his power. I think he's going to have to move
forward and get nizzy space. I think he's definitely and should. And I haven't talked to the
coaches and obviously we didn't even talk much strategy with Joe. He had a lot of the stuff
to talk about last week. I think if he's mixing in wrestling, at least just to keep Izzy
where he wants him, even if he's not successful over and over with it, I think it's going to open
opportunities for him to be close and land big shots and get away from that range that Adesonia
presents in the countering that he presents. And for Izzy, he has got to do everything he can to
stay in the center of that octagon and use those counters that he's got. He's got a slip and rip
like he did against Costa, like he did against Whitaker. That's when I think he was at his best.
Even moments against gasoline where he just when he was countering and being smooth and
fainting and drawing guys in, that's when he's at his best. And I think if he can do that to
Piper make him swing and miss real big, it opens up massive opportunities for Izzy and use that
front kick that he's got, man, he's he's nasty with that. I expect to see some leg kicks and
shit from him too and stay off the freaking fence. Izzy's got to stay off the fence. I'm just
looking at the rankings as you were chatting there. It's wild. Where was Israel,
Adesonia and the rankings? He's got to be out there, right? Well, I mean, I'm blind. Oh,
yeah, there he is. No more. It's not bad, actually. As I say, as Mason Jones likes to point out,
show him tripping over a curb. I don't recall that. But I'm sure I did it. So Izzy, yeah, I mean,
I guess because you only lost two, the best, Strikas, Mervov, Strikas. Yeah.
Who else? Oh, Strikland. Strikland. Yeah. I mean, Piper's going to look to knock him out. Of
course. I don't think Piper is as slick as Nazardin. No, I think he's got more raw power. Yeah.
I think he wrestles maybe offensively better when he wants to, which we don't see much from
Piper either, but it's there. Trust me. I've seen him training and I know who he's training with.
He's got good wrestling when he wants it. But yeah, power wise, he's got it. But as far as just
pure boxing slickness, I don't think there's anybody in the middleweight division that rivals
in Mervov right now. Oh, no, not just all round you mean? Yeah. And just his boxing skills and his
speed. He's the best in the middleweight division right now. I know Strikland's got his own unique
style of boxing, but pure just boxing with power and speed. It's in Mervov. Strikland's got very
effective striking boxing. Let's call it that and tips. He's got a beautiful job. We put
to combinations together well when he has his opponent hurt, but yeah, nothing like Mervov.
Mervov's got like ridiculously slick, smooth, vast combinations in and out footwork. Yeah.
He is phenomenal, talented. Yeah. Piper hasn't got that. No, but he's like, he's like got that
done Henderson power. He's just. I'm telling you, I've gone with him where he's probably down
20, 30% power. And I fucking saw stars every time he touched me. He's really. He's got it without
trying. You know what I mean? He's that he's one of those guys. We've all trained with one of those
guys that. Yeah, he's got skills. But when he hits you, you're just like, good God, like you were
just blessed with that gift of power. Now, where I worry for Joe a little bit. And again,
as a Philly guy, obviously, think he's going to win. Think he can knock Izzy out, especially
just on the trajectory that Izzy's been on lately. But I think the deeper the fight goes,
the more I worry for Joe. And we saw that happen when he fought her mansion.
With that power, with the wrestling, with that throwing big with everything you have,
things slow down. Izzy is used to five round long championship fights. It's in his DNA now.
I know he's not been doing great lately, but he is used to be in a main event fighter. He's used
to dig and deep later on in rounds and still having that power and technique. So I think the further
the fight goes, the more I would start to lean towards Adeson, you're getting it done. I think if
Joe gets it done, it's going to be early in the first two or three rounds, especially the second
round. Yeah, 100%. If perfecting get it done, it'll be a knockout. It'll be early. The problem is
to your point, when you're swinging with everything, when you're looking for the knockout,
when you believe you can do it, when the whole game plan has been wrestle a little, because this
is what it'll be, wrestle a little bit, push him up against the fence, look to take him down.
Then when you're getting thinking about the wrestling, boom, then look for the knockout. That
will probably be some formulation of the game plan. But if he swings and he doesn't get it,
and then he starts getting tired and the fight's going longer and longer, then a little bit of
frustration and a little bit of doubt starts to creep in. Life has been a guy that's been very
honest. He's an emotional guy, you know what I'm saying? Which I respect, I respect his honesty,
I respect the fact that he wears his heart and his sleeve. He's a real dude.
But that can cost you in fights. And is he, is as calm as they come? And he's also a very proud
man. You have to remember losing four out of five. Yeah, he's hungry, bro. He's hungry. Yeah.
For some reason, people always think that I glaze Israel out of Sanya. I don't. When you've
got a bloodage, how can you not give the guy his credit, right? He always impressed me. I mean,
he got knocked out against, well, he got stopped by Alex Pereira. And when he was on that crazy
run, he was fighting very frequently. And he kept straight back about four or five months later.
Did it take a tune up fight? Did it try and get his mole Joe back or any of that carry on?
Steps back in there and put him to sleep in the second. Did it better,
did it better than Pereira did to him in the first fight? You know what I mean? The bow and arrows,
yeah. Yeah, I'm telling you, man, and where he's so dangerous is as you start to fade as those
shots start to get labored and you start giving him openings. Look at what he did to Brunson back
in the day. I mean, fucking, that's a guy who's a stud wrestler and puts a lot of pressure. And as
he slowed down, just started styling on him. That's where I think he can have successes. Take his
time, let Joe really push him, but can he get out of those early rounds? I'm smiling because you
just said, look at what he did to Brunson. And then I was reminded of a tweet that was doing
the rounds and it was, look at what is he did to power law cost after he beat him. And we all
know what he did. He did what? We're all dogged him. He homes him. He's dry homes. Oh, that's
got to be the most insulting thing ever. Oh, man, as you're like knocked out, recovering on the floor
and somebody's behind you just, oh, my God. We'll be fighting again. I would have to go and see
that guy backstage and have a very serious fight. We're fighting again. Yeah, we're fighting again.
Bro, you ain't doing that to me. And I might lose and I might lose the second one, but I'm at least
going and trying to redeem myself. I'm bringing a bat. All right, this episode is sponsored by

If if is he is he loses this one? I think that'll be the end of his career. I think he will choose
to say I clearly haven't got it anymore because back in the day, I would have smoked some
a light Joe Piper and the reality is what is the 37 38 without looking it up. It comes to everyone.
It comes to everyone and this sport often decides when you retire. You know, the sport retires you,
you don't retire the sport and that could be what we're seeing or it could just be that he had a
good run, a fighting, a lot of kidboxes, maybe not the best wrestlers. I'm not trying to whip on his
career and then then he went up against Dracus at a bad night, I get Sean maybe, who else? Pereira,
there's no shame in any of these losses. M-Avov could be the next guy. But when it's 4 out of 5
and then you lose to Joe Piper, that's like 13 and now it's 5 out of 6. When you're losing 5 out of
your last 6, that's time to walk away because he's made a lot of money. He's smashed it out the
park, he defended the bill at 4 or 5 times. He's talking about going off and becoming a DJ next. So
he's already kind of got his next path kind of carved out. I think if he loses this one, I think
he retirees from the sport but my official prediction is Israel and Assania via decision he will win
the fight. America leads the world in medicine development. It matters. We get new medicines

Paid for by pharma. I agree with all of that. Except Joe Piper, K.O. Round two.
Well, you've got to say that. I do. And you can't not say that. Yeah, come on. I'm not going to
pick against Joe. And I truly do feel if he can make sure to leave the emotions, to leave
everything that he's the journey he's on now and whatever he's dealing with all by the wayside
and focus on the task at hand, I think that he does have the skills and the power to be easy.
But I agree. I can see exactly that happening, Michael, like you're talking about. Whereas if
is he starts to get his rhythm, he know he's coming in shape. He wants if this is close to the end,
which we both agree, it is. And I think is he would admit that it is even if this isn't the last
one, especially if he gets a win. I think it's fun fights from here from now on out. I don't think
he's trying to get to any belt. I think he's trying to enjoy what time he has left in the octagon.
Similar to where Whittaker is in his career, right? He's not done. He wants to have some fun ones,
but you know, bro, he's just got announced with it. Well, I know that he said that he's fighting in
Abu Dhabi, right? He's going up to light heavyweight. I hope it's not going to be enough.
And then Magomed Ankalayev was like, he's just got matched up. Yeah. Robert Whittaker.
Is he going to be fighting Magomed Ankalayev? I don't know if that's a good fight for Robert.
Not saying I'm not doubting him or anything like that. I just saw it is gigantic.
Robert, four at 170. I'm not saying he can't do it, but I'm like, bro,
you dip your toe in the light heavyweight division and go for it. That's not the guy to be
dipping your toe in a game. Yeah. I don't think that's who it is. I saw something else. Let me see
if it's on his Harrington. Do you know who it is? Did you see the announcement?
Were my out of my mind? No. So I just saw that he's going to be fighting in July at light heavy.
I'm looking for for anything that he might have put out now. Oh, good buddy. Oh,
but I do see what you're talking about, Michael. Yeah. I mean, there's there's
Whittaker and Ankalayev being hooked about. I mean, it's a relevant fight. If he wants to go
off and try and become a champion, at light heavyweight, that's a relevant fight. And I'm sure there's
not too many people in the light heavyweight division that are queuing up to take on someone like
Magomed Ankalayev. And let's be honest, if that is the match up, he did very well against
Joel Merrow. I mean, he beat him, you know what I mean? So he can stop wrestlers. And
Ankalayev isn't even that wrestler guy anyway. He's more of a striker and he's huge.
He's massive, man. He's a big dude. Anyway, fair play. The balls on Whittaker.
So did you like London poll? Yeah. Did you have a good time? I did.
Did you see the news of Chuck Norris passing by? I did. Yeah. Yeah. RIP to Chuck, man.
What's your favorite Chuck Norris meme? Well, I don't know. But some of the Chuck Norris jokes
are some of the best in the world. I wish I had some off the top of my head. But the one that
always takes out is Chuck Norris doesn't do push-ups. He pushes the earth down.
Oh, yeah, it's all that kind of stuff. Did you guys know? Did you guys know Chuck Norris's tears
could cure cancer? I bet. He's never cried. He's not. He's not. He's my just tragedy
BTS of Marks. They are good. They are good. Yeah. I mean, fair play. Fair play. You lived
a good life. Absolute legend. I think he was in his mid 80s. Hold, can you hear that coming
through the microphone because it is pacing down hard. Yeah, I can. Yeah. That is funny
story about hearing rain the other day. I go to my mom's, right? And somebody had made my mom
some pot cookies to try to help her get an appetite and do all that stuff. Obviously she's going
through chemo and all that. And she's like, you know, you can have one. I don't really need them.
I don't need a little bit. So I ate one of these cookies yesterday. And I come back from visiting
my mom and I'm hanging out and the girls are all going to bed and I'm in the kitchen and I'm like,
oh, fuck, it's pouring out. It sounds like it's pouring. And Christine is at like an HOA meeting
doing, you know, they're going over stuff for the homeowner's association. And I'm texting her.
I'm like, baby, is it, is it fucking pouring outside? I can hear it. She's like, it's literally
not raining at all, Paul. She's like, are you standing by the dishwasher? And I look over it.
It's the dishwasher running. And I was a little bit thrown. And I thought it was pouring rain.
And then I was like, oh, God, that cookie was way stronger than I thought. Maybe a little too much for
mom. Maybe too much from, no, I mean, she would only need about a bite of that cookie and she'd be,
yeah. So I've just achieved my life with the podcast today because I'm, I'm included. They're all
came up north after London, see some family. Obviously, we did almost passed away.
I had a great night with my dad, Sunday night, and his brother, my uncle, Dom and stuff,
saw some family came up here, took my mom out some food earlier. She struggles to get about.
She's just on crutches and can't walk. And I was like, mom, come on, we're going to go. We've
got the podcast, you know, my God, it was taking bloody forever. But it is, it's, it's, it's, it's,
I'm just good to be home. It is. I went for a run this morning, just running around the little
time around from and it's just, just floods back so many memories. You know what I'm saying?
I tried to go to the castle, but the castle shut down. They're renovating it. So, you know,
to be fair, it's been there since like the 11th century. So it's probably needs a little,
needs a little upkeep, needs a little upkeep. In fact, it is up the keep. It's the castle keep
that they're renovated. All right. We're going to do a show to show today, sadly, because of
the travel conditions. Hiring bone. Well, God said, let there be light. Chuck Norris said,
please, said, say please. That's a good one. Chuck Norris invented the giraffe when he gave a
horse an uppercut. I've seen that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Death once had a near Chuck Norris
experience. Chuck Norris once threw a grenade and killed 50 people. Then it exploded.
How did he pass away? Do we know? There was an unexpected medical emergency. So,
unclear. The family stayed pretty close, close-lipped about it. Hey, has Chuck ever addressed
these jokes? Because when anybody interviewed Chuck Norris and like asked him, what do you think
about all these legendary jokes that have come up about you? Because it kind of came out of nowhere,
the legend of Chuck Norris. Do you know what I mean? I mean, my Nana loved a Walker Texas Ranger,
by the way. Whenever I was over visiting her house, she would always have Walker Texas Ranger on.
Yeah, I have it here. So he was asked to narrow down his top 10. So he has it that he can Chuck
Norris can dribble a bowling ball, Chuck Norris, because you know, really on a unicycle.
We live in an expanding universe. All of it is trying to get away from Chuck Norris.
He had a good sense of humor about him. He loved them. Yeah, of course. I mean,
86 years old when he passed, by the way. And that's Chuck Norris, you looked after himself,
because I saw, you know, it wasn't too long ago. He was still like pumping out exercise equipment
and stuff like that. He was working out his entire life, you know, and he met it to 86 years old.
I mean, what am I 47 now? What are you 41 Paul? Yeah. I mean, you've still got another 45 years,
if you live to the 7 length of life as good old Chuck. I'll take it. To your point, Michael,
he climbed a 10,000 foot elevation peak in California just last year at 85 years old.
Jesus Christ. That's crazy. That's what I want. I want to be like that. I want to be like Chuck.
That's what you're going to do. You're going to have a healthy, sorry, a long,
health smile, not a life spot. Yeah. You know, the difference. Exactly. I want to still be doing
that kind of stuff, not just still kicking around. Yeah. You don't want to be stuck on here.
Not able to get about and enjoy yourself and be miserable and in pain and all the rest of it.
You want to be able to live your life, you know, so he's an inspiration to a lot of people
and it's a sad day indeed. Do we have a three-punch combo segment for this show, Howington?
Yes, we do. So three-punch combo. I was taking a look at that. One of my favorite threads that
I saw recently, who is the most underrated fighter in MMA history? A lot of the poster here,
just give me one second to read it. I said to me, John Pork says to me, it has to be
Demetrius Johnson. Not that he hasn't been given some shine. I know a lot of people will
put him in the goat debate, but I still think that I still don't think that's enough. DJ was
otherworldly, so many title defenses saved the division, Suplex Armboar, guys levels above everyone
in his prime and he beats Hudo. Yeah. I disagree with that. I don't think, Henry, I just mean
I don't mean the boss underrated. I just mean as a general take, I think even still to this day
because DJ has done such a great job in his second career as like a streamer and a podcaster
and all the rest of it. He's still very relevant in the sport today. People know who he is.
I think people, anyone with an ounce of intelligence on the sport, know the level, the skill,
the intelligence, the IQ, the performances, the unbelievable amount of title defenses. I think,
I think Demetrius, maybe at the time when he was competing at the time because Flyway Division
didn't have the attention that it does now. You know what I'm saying? It kind of went under the
radar a little bit. Maybe at the time a little, but I don't think so. Now I think some people
might have him as one of the greatest of all time and he is one of the greatest of all time. So
I don't think he's necessarily underrated. Yeah, I'm trying to think.
No, me too, man. He's some underrated guys. If only I wasn't eating, I'm pretty bad.
Chicken and leek pie from the pub. Took my mom to the pub,
going to chicken and leek pie with chips, mushy peas and gravy.
The pie was overcooked. The pastry was dry. The chips were terrible. So if I wasn't doing that
and enjoying this very mid pie, I would have looked at the notes and I would have been more
perid, but yeah, I had a shitty pie to eat. So I'm going to do it now while you.
Well, I can give you a couple answers from the this PC form, if you like.
Triangle kid said Matt Brown. Really? You know what's funny? That was the first thing that
that came to my mind was Matt Brown, because I was just thinking that. I'm like, that was a guy
I loved to freaking watch. Would you say Frankie? Edgar was ever underappreciated because the things
he did and we kind of forget the big guys that he fought at 155 pounds. Frankie's really not,
it was never, ever even close to being 155. And he did the things he did. I think Frankie would
be one of my guys that I would say because he ended it bad. So he had like a lot of losses towards
the end. So I think he's underappreciated for what he achieved in his prime. 100%. I mean,
it's not the belt of BJ pan when BJ pan was still BJ pan. You know what I mean? That's like,
like, he did like what TJ Dillishall did before TJ Dillishall did it against Boral, right? Everyone
counted him out. Frankie was counted out bad in that fight first fight. AI overview starts with
Frankie Edgar. It has Jim Miller on there. Yeah. He's got me on there. Bastards. He's got Edson
Barbosa, Chad Mendes, Joseph Benavides. Joseph Benavides. I mean, he was ridiculously high level.
They me and Maya Henan Barab. But that's AI who gives a god damn. I like your choice though,
the Frankie Edgar one because unlike Demetrius, he retired from the sport. And I know he does a
podcast and stuff like that, but he's not in the headlines when you're going social media.
He's not out there as well. You know, seen Frankie Edgar stuff. I see a lot of Demetrius stuff though.
So Dean Thomas actually gave a pretty good answer to this one. Somebody who I rarely ever hear
talked about, TJ Grant. If you remember, he won that title eliminator against Gray Maynard was
supposed to fight for the belt. And then injuries just took him right out of the sport.
Yeah, he was good in his time, but still. Yeah. I remember him.
I'm sorry. He doesn't get it. He doesn't get the not over.
Frankie Edgar, he might be the most underrated. And this might be the most underrated podcast and
the most under delivering episodes because we apologize because I am tired. I'm busy. I'm confused.
I'm dazed. I'm jet light. Dazed and confused. You know what I did today? This is interesting.
I was seeing a clip. Matthew McConaughey was on. I don't know if it was
Chrysler's podcast or his podcast or whatever, but I thought I fucking love Matthew McConaughey.
Oh, me too. He's a great dude. I inbox him on Instagram. Just it will never get read.
It will probably never get responded to, but I said a bunch of complimentary things.
And I said to him, I don't think you'll ever need this.
Were you trying to get a lot of podcasts? Were you under effects of your mother's gummy?
No, this was today. This was today. That would have been funnier though if it was when I was high.
But yeah, I was like, hey, you know, I think you're a great guy. I think you're a fantastic actor
and just a down-to-earth human. And you probably never see this, but I'm on a podcast with Michael
Bisming, former UFC champion. We're both color commentators. We do a podcast and
you would really make make our podcasts awesome if you would come on and do an interview.
So we'll see if you ever respond. I was going to say, holy shit. We got Matthew McConaughey.
No, but that would be fucking sick. I'm checking now. Let's see. Did you respond?
Let's see. I didn't even see it yet. You probably didn't even see it yet.
I'll tell you. Well, as you check, we're still left on red. We're still left on unred.
We're not. I mean, listen, I used to like him, but he's got a big time these days.
We're not even looking at his bloody DMs and respond to Felder.
McConaughey, we got to tag him in this. We got to tag him in this one.
So, so I'll say this, um, maybe I don't know shit about MMA.
Maybe you don't know shit about MMA either, Paul, because I don't think I do anymore.
Saturday night, Dana very nicely said, do you want to meet Noel Gallagher
from Oasis? Yeah. Effing love Oasis. And I'm like, yeah, of course. So brings me over.
Noel Gallagher was cool as hell. He was out because he's like, oh, this is the boy.
This is the boy. I mean, like a real great interaction. I had no idea he knew who I was or that
watch you have seen or whatever. He's telling me that him and his boys were like, you know, young men.
They're obsessed with it. They watch it all the time. They roll there. I said hi to everyone.
Got to pitch you with them all and stuff. At the end of the fight, when I was going in to
interview the winner. Yeah. They were like, what do you think, Mike? I said, well,
I think the wrong got it. And they went really. We scored it for Movesaw.
Damn. So Noel Gallagher, my new best mate, and just had to drop that name. And these sons,
incidentally, all no more about MMA than me. Well, they were right. They were right. We were
wrong. Yeah. What are you going to do? You know, we're racist, clearly. Yes. We don't like,
we're apparently we don't like Muslims, even. I think both guys are Muslims.
Yeah. Oh, oh, oh, okay. Listen, we're going to do.
Can I just remind people that 3PC is an online community where fans and fighters meet to discuss
all things MMA. And if you're listening to this and want to join the conversation,
head on over to three punch combo. Use the promo code B1 and get yourself a couple months free.
Very well said. If you want to send a question and send it into B1 and put it gmail.com,
I'll be back next week. Things will be back to normal. The camera will be extra defined. And
anything else. Well, we'll have to get drawn on as well. So I apologize for the lower level
production today. But we've got the episode and for the delay. But if you have a question,
send it into B1 and put it gmail.com. Do as a favor, let the video leave a comment, subscribe,
or that carry on. We're trying to grow the part and hopefully soon, Paul, two apps a week.
Yeah, hopefully with Matthew McConaughey. Yeah, that's all we need. Matthew McConaughey.
That'll be my. That's good. I like it. I like it. I can't do it. One of my voices,
Rossby to a English. That's one of the best scenes of all time. So good. So good. I love him.
I know he's not going to come in the podcast, but he is one of my go-to actors. I think he's great.
I'm just trying to think who avide the end randomly like that.
Not Connor McGregor style, of course. No, no, no, no, no. I mean like, you know, say,
oh, hey, bro, what's up? You know, I've done a few over the years and they get back to you
eventually. Anyway, if you've got a question, send it in. Do we have any questions this week,
Brandon Mike? Are you there, Brian? We're here. No good questions this week. Oh, so sorry to
all of the people who sent them in. That's on you. Do better. But yes, send them in.
BYM.com. That's what I'm going to say. Okay, listen, I'm going to go spend some time with my mom.
She's, she's, and my dad, my dad almost passed away. My mom bless her. It's, it's, it's, it's so
heartbreaking. Like just, she's not going to wash this. You know, I just, she can't walk. She's got
one leg that works and just doing anything is just incredibly difficult. You know what I'm saying?
I have home help that goes around to a house multiple times per week. She can't really do anything
for herself, you know, and then I'm on the other side of the bloody country as well, a world.
So you feel like a, like an asshole, you know, but anyway, Paul, enjoy Seattle.
Seattle's a very woke city. It is. It is. It's okay. I can, I can blend between all worlds.
Yeah, I hope there's no more piles of human poop on the ground. There was, there was a lot of
piles of human poop on the ground the last time I was there. That's never good. It was definitely not
dog poop. I saw a video that started putting up signs of that in England. No pooping on the ground.
No human defecating in public places. Yeah, it's, you should think you don't have to put a sign up.
One would assume you don't need to put that sign up. I figured, I figured it.
Yeah, so there's a lot of face masks. Yeah. There's a lot of face masks. Yeah. I did get asked if I
was pregnant when I was checking into the hotel. That's here in Seattle. Yeah, I did.
I was like, no, I'm not. No, but we've got to ask. I'm all right. Okay. I guess anything is
possible. You know, if you can't see, believe and achieve. That's right. No, it is. All right,
guys. See you back at the regular time next Monday. Apologies for the delay. Enjoy your week. All
the best.
Believe You Me with Michael Bisping
