My name is Mark Forzaida.

This right here, again, Lockdown 76er's Postcast.

We love you coming along for the ride on a West Coast game, like taking on the Denver

Nuggets, Mountain Time, Mountain Time, Coast Game, but I don't know, anyway, it's late

and the Sixers were terrible and the Nuggets were up by as many as 33 points that could

have very easily, just like many other teams in the face of 76ers this year, one by 50,

if they felt like it, but they took some sweet mercy on your 10, 9, 8, 76ers tonight.

And they decided to only win 124 to 96, they led by as many as 33 points.

Some of the things we're going to get into tonight, Marjon Bo champ, if you had to really

pick out anything that was worth taking a footnote on in this game, it would be his performance.

And you also look at Andre Drummond versus Nicole Leo-Kitchen, you might think, what do you

mean versus?

They're not even in the same stratosphere and you're right on that, but like literally

versus tonight.

It was a little bit of a shove fest, a little bit of a hug fest, and then a little bit

of a, I'll just put my hands behind my backfest by Andre Drummond, we'll get into that.

And then just the overall utter embarrassment of what it's like watching this team attempt

to play basketball without the likes of Joel and Bede, who did also have an entertaining

appearance at least, not in the game, but on the sidelines.

So we'll get into that and so much more when it comes to just some terrible basketball.

Let's start it up with three big things, right out of the gate.

Number one, I am going to talk about on a positive, no, oh, let me just give away this

disclaimer.

Anything I say tonight that might sound like it's positive, like I enjoyed anything

about this game tonight is not to really imply that I did, because I didn't.

But if there was something good, although small, not a silver lining, because this game

was terrible, just know it's all under the umbrella of, I acknowledge this was a terrible

basketball game.

Okay.

Okay.

So let's with that being said, get to this.

This is the locked on player of the game.

If I really had to, and I don't want to name anybody on, like even, and you call the

Yoke, it's toyed around with the 76 or something, eight points and 14 assists.

He had 10 assists in the first quarter, like that was just, like he was out there just

having some fun.

But if I had to really name anybody, it would go to Marjan Bochamp, who at least in this

kind of game, that's completely lost even before you even tip off the basketball game,

Marjan Bochamp actually looked like a guy that has been banged around the NBA already

and trying desperately to put good film out there.

So I give him credit for at least trying to take advantage of a limited opportunity.

To me, he absolutely looked like a guy that was part of the G league ignite.

All right, let's just look at that.

Then the Milwaukee Bucks, okay, they lose him after really a first round pick.

Then they had a minute there with the Wisconsin herd.

Then he has a minute with the Clippers, the Knicks and the Westchester Knicks and the Delaware

Blue Coats and the Philadelphia 76ers all this same calendar year.

Well, 2025 into 2026.

That's a guy that's been banged around a little bit, all right?

So when he gets an opportunity to actually log the minutes that he was logging tonight,

you want to see him go out there and at least take advantage of the opportunity.

And he did that tonight.

This is not a silver lining.

This is not, oh, this made the game worth it.

No.

But if you had to give one award for player of the game, who would you give it to tonight?

The only person I'm willing to give it to tonight is Marjan Bochamp tonight, six of

11 from the floor, four of eight from three.

Yeah, garbage time, but minutes are minutes.

And he did the best he could possibly do with the minutes.

As far as what should we talking about tomorrow?

This is what you'll be talking about.

I'm going to go out in the limb and say it's probably going to be Bryce Harper hitting

a home run in the world baseball classic, even though the United States lost a bit as

well.

I'm going to say that's what you're going to be talking about tomorrow.

But if you had to pick something from this game, I think it's going to be Joelle and

bead walking out to the court after half time to the booze of the Denver nugget faithful.

And I know the social media was lit up with live in rent free and their heads type of things.

If you're a Denver, you, if you're the city of Denver, if you're nugget faithful, you

want your well and be to be out there against the Colioca and you just don't see it.

You see what once in Denver, maybe you don't see it.

You wanted to be playing and to Joelle and Beach credit, he laughed, he waved, he did the

whole thing and he embraced every second of it.

And then I will say I did, I'm not mad.

I want to be very clear here.

I'm not mad.

I'm not even criticizing.

But I believe Joelle and bead walked out to that ovation to the booze and then sat down

on the Sixers bench and while the Sixers were being blown up by 30, enjoyed a nice parfait

on the bench.

I'm not mad.

I'm not even impressed.

I'm just entertained.

I'm amused.

He had a spoon in his mouth and it looked like he had a fine parfait and don't act like

you're not thinking to shrek and donkey right now when I say the word parfait.

But that should look like he was doing and joy and a fine parfait.

Can you imagine, Valentin is dunking on, who did he get today?

He got bona.

He had a little battle there with Andre drum and drum and just flat out through a shoulder

into Valentin.

Valentin was like, that's cute.

Can you imagine watching your team just getting their ass beat the way they were getting

beat today?

And you're just like, mmm, yogurt and strawberries are delicious.

Mmm.

And the music.

I'm not mad.

I hope there was, you know, magical dust in that parfait that is going to heal his

oblique sooner rather than later.

But if there's any one thing you're talking about, I think it's going to be the fact that

the six are just kept blown out.

I think it's going to be WBC and I think it's going to be Joel and beat at least getting

the booze that he got when he went back to the bench after half time.

So if there's anything you're talking about tomorrow from this game, other than the

just BTA that happened in this one, it's going to be Joel and Beat's moment right there.

As far as something else that you can take away from tonight's basketball game, no,

this is one is not at all on a positive, but I think you can get to this.

Uh oh, somebody messed up and it's time to let him know with who fudged up.

Andre Drummond and Nicola Yokitsch, first quarter, Joker's in the midst of getting tennisists

in that first quarter.

Like I mentioned earlier, Andre Drummond's got no idea how to stop.

Um, he's trying to be physical with him on one end and sure enough.

And at this point, I think I marked the score.

Yeah, the, the nuggets are on their way to a 38, 22 opening quarter, which is also on

their way to 72 first half points and Drummond is trying to de up Joker.

And he's not hugging him, but he's all over.

I mean, there's, if you're a Denver, just try to be, just try to be an NBA fan for a second.

Take off your nuggets hat, take off your sixers hat, put on your NBA hat for a second.

Just watch the game.

All right, like that Rob Lowe mean with the NFL cap, right?

I just want both teams to have fun.

Well, Drummond's all over and he's trying to slow him down in some way, shape, or form.

And he's absolutely trying to get in his head.

He's just trying to get something going, I don't know, just trying to get in his head

a little bit.

Well, it worked because down the sixers offense event, Joker is now on Andre Drummond.

And he is just flat out, flat out hugging Andre Drummond.

He's not all over him.

He's not even DNM up.

He's just literally hugging him, all right?

He's all over him more than squint, paladurus, and Wendy Peppercord, all right?

He's all over him.

And then he gets teed up for that.

So they don't always get the first one, as they always say.

They get the retaliation from it.

And that's what they got in Nicole.

VJ Edge can't went to the line.

He hit the tech, but it ended up, as you would assume, not being a factor in this one.

But something that at least made you go, huh, something's happening in this basketball

game.

That's interesting.

Finally, so if we go for the three big things, it definitely goes down to Marjan Bo-Champ.

Certainly just the sixers getting blown out is another one.

And then Drummond being at least entertaining in that first half.

Something else that we'll talk about coming up in a second here has to do with the sixers

team.

And just overall, how many times are you just going to take it on the chin like this?

And although on the broadcast, they talk about help being on the way.

Hey, look, we know when Paul George is going to come back.

Joelle and B, they're, they seem optimistic that he's going to play on this road trip.

I don't know why he'd even bother him playing on this road trip.

You got the kings and then the jazz after that.

You're not making it out of the play internament.

You're not going north of the play internament or south of the play internament.

You're going to play internament team.

I don't think the six are going to do anything to solidify any more positive fate that I play

in tournament team.

Why not just give him a break until that Chicago Bulls game and then him and Paul George

come back and then hopefully have a nice little run there when nine to ten to close out the

season.

Fingers crossed.

I say nine of ten because you know you're not going to have Joelle and B really or Paul

George in that last back to back that they have.

So cross your fingers for that.

I know everyone's looking forward to that time.

I'm just not optimistic that it's going to happen on this road trip.

We'll talk more about that when we return as well as VJ Edge comes night as well as

Quentin Grimes is night two guys that I was banking on going into the night's game.

And unfortunately they both left a lot to be desired VJ especially in the foul game.

One of the things Keith and I talked about this morning was what was to go down with

Quentin Grimes and VJ edge, we talked about whether or not VJ should be concentrating

on being the number one score or Quentin Grimes should concentrate on being the number one

score.

How about a big fat neither to either of them tonight?

Quentin Grimes, 26 minutes, 12 points, 5 of 12 shooting, 1 for 5 from beyond the arc,

0 for 4 after the first half of the blue.

No, it's 1 for 0 for 2 after the first quarter.

Not great.

1 for 2 from the free throw line didn't even get there really.

VJ edge come 23 minutes, 9 points, 3 of 12 shooting, 0 for 3 from beyond the arc, 4 assists,

3 rebounds, 5 personal fouls and he had racked up 5 personal fouls by the 916 mark of

the third quarter.

Not great.

Nobody was stepping up for the 6ers team and VJ edge come fairly available in this one.

Here's how bad it was for the 6ers as far as really they're shooting woes, even outside

of just Quentin Grimes or VJ edge come in that first half.

But with about 243 remaining, Cam Johnson just hit that corner three, he got the end one,

he missed the free throw though.

Just around that point it was the 23 mark of the second quarter.

At that point in time, the Denver Nuggets made 24 of their 40 shots from the floor.

May 9 of their 15 shots from 3, they shot 60% from 3, the 76ers shot 21% from 3 and they

were just 15 of 45 from the field again, that's from the 243 or that's from the beginning

of the game to the 243 mark of the second quarter and by that time it was a 66 to 36

liters of 30 point lead for the Denver Nuggets.

So yeah, pretty safe to say this one was never looking like it was going to fall in the 6ers

hands.

One comment I do want to put up here, wrong versus right, just as no defense, along

with a lot of other things, you're exactly right.

Hey, 6ers are back at it, Thursday night and another 10 o'clock tip off this time they

take on the Sacramento Kings, again the broadcast was trying to be optimistic about

you well and be coming back on this road trip, I don't see it.

I'm rooting for it, but I ain't betting on it.
