#92 - Diving Deep into GLP1 Agonist Drugs - Dean Guedo and Jeb Stuart Johnston

In this episode, we do the first ever CCU Podcast 3 way, as I sit down with Dean Guedo and Jeb Johnston to dive deep into the medications that have been sweeping through North America - GLP1 Agonists.  The class of GLP1 drugs includes, Semaglutide (Ozempic), Terzepatide (Mounjaro) and the newest generation, yet to be released, Retatrutide.  These drugs have been showing incredible results in the treatment of Type-2 Diabetes and being used off-label in the treatment of obesity.

There is a lot of drama around these drugs because, just like anything that works, it brings up a lot of emotions - are they an easy way out, or a boon for the health industry?  Are we setting people up for failure long term?  Can the weight loss be maintained?  We dive into it all.
