Awhile back, a young doctor client of mine asked me, why have things gotten so crazy? He brought that up after the hospital ordered him to do a Pap smear test on a man. The man believes he’s a woman, and this doctor is supposed to believe with him. That’s like going into the sanitarium and wanting to be one of the inmates. Except in this case, the inmates are running the sanitarium. The young doctor is also supposed to use the proper pronouns. Whatever the person thinks he is - that’s the pronoun we give that person. We’re supposed to play along. I told him that the folks in charge have “basic stable data” that is different from ours. My basic stable data is Judeo/Christian beliefs. And so I see through the lens of Judeo/Christian philosophy, and also my loyalty to Jesus Christ. Other people don’t see it that way. So their belief system surely is built on quicksand. And the problem is, it’s sinking the rest of our culture.
