A footbridge over the M3 at Fleet Services was officially named “The Scott Mills Bridge” in 2016

We continue with our fun facts of Scott Mills, who competed on strictly

condensing back in 2014 and famously performed the Samba dressed as a crab to

under the sea, creating one of the show's most memorable and hilarious moments.

He has served as the UK commentator for the semi-finals of the Eurovision

Song Contest on multiple occasions bringing his signature wit and energy to the

broadcast. He came out publicly in 2001 and has been open

about his life ever since. He got engaged in 2021 and got married in a

beautiful ceremony in Spain in 2024. Thanks to a fun Radio 1 campaign by his

then co-host Chris Stark, a foot a footbridge over the M3 at Fleet Services was

officially named the Scott Mills Bridge in 2026 and Scott Mills still celebrates

its anniversary every year.
