What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles.
In this episode we're going to pick up where we left off with the Miami-Herald article
talking about Jeffrey Epstein and his ties to the Arab Royals.
This article was authored by Shershow Das Gupta.
Epstein first got acquainted with Yemeni billionaire Shahar Abdul-Hawk in the spring of 2012.
Abdul-Hawk at the time was in a fix.
His son Farouk was a suspect in the rape and murder of a 23-year-old Norwegian student
Martin Vic Magnuson in London in 2008.
According to the British press, British authorities wanted him for questioning but Farouk had fled
to Yemen.
That sounds about right.
What he's going to stick around and face justice here, right?
Epstein, the record show, claimed to have facilitated an introduction with British attorney
Lord Ken McDonald, who had previously served as the top prosecutor in England and Wales.
Epstein told Abdul-Hawk in a June 2012 email that he'd spoken to McDonald, who believed
that Farouk could get a reduced charge and be granted bail, record show.
Epstein advised Abdul-Hawk to focus on what punishment would be acceptable.
I think you're right, something like house arrest plus charity work, Abdul-Hawk replied.
The rape and murder of 23-year-old Norwegian student Martin Vic Magnuson.
And these motherfuckers are talking about charity work and house arrest.
What I think you mean is helicopters and volcanoes, right?
Imagine being the family members of Miss Martin Vic Magnuson.
And these scumbag pieces of shit are talking like this in these emails and later on down
the road you see them.
It's not bad enough that your daughter was murdered by some piece of garbage, but then
you have to read the emails of her murderer's father conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein on a
way to get the son off.
What an absolute nightmare that must be.
I have no recollection of the single telephone call I seem to have received from Jeffrey
Epstein, and I had no dealings with him prior to it and on afterward, where he just
finds you in the phone book.
Hey, go get me the yellow pages.
I need a lawyer in England.
Nobody buys that.
McDonald told the herald he was never my client, and I have never met him.
The attorney said that his fees were paid by Abdul-Hawk, not Epstein.
He would never have told Epstein that Abdul-Hawk's son would have got bail, he added, oh
I'm sure.
I'm sure you never had a conversation with him.
You lion prick.
You stiff upper lip lion prick.
Let me guess, you're hanging out at Lord Mendelssohn's house?
Sounds about right.
I expect Epstein was embellishing our conversation for his own purposes, he said.
The records do not detail what happened next.
Farouk is still in Yemen and remains wanted in the UK, according to the British press.
Yeah, you remember that movie taken?
That would be me.
If my daughter was raped and murdered, and there was no justice for her and the dude was
hiding in Yemen, I'd be finding a soldier of fortune magazine, putting together a team,
and going to find them.
The fact that this dude could run to Yemen and hide is just unbelievably disgusting.
Maybe you'll get hit with a missile strike, that would be cool, right?
One of those missiles happens to just drop right into his bedroom window, that wouldn't
be so bad.
Around the same time that Epstein was helping Abdul Hock with his son, the Arab Spring
raised Yemen.
That led to the ouster of Abdul Hock's friend, President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
In the next few years, a power-sharing agreement between the Yemeni government and the Iran-backed
Tuthi rebels broke down.
A Saudi Arabia-led alliance intervened against the rebels precipitating a civil war.
In 2018, Abdul Hock called Epstein, a potential peace-maker in Yemen, and requested him to
speak to Saudi crown prince Muhammad to freeze bombing for four days.
So Abdul Hock could navigate the various factions and broker a peace deal.
Well that didn't work out so well, did it?
Considering that Yemen is an absolute hellhole, I mean famine, war, but sure, instead of
feeding our people and fixing infrastructure and giving people a chance at life, let's
buy some more missiles to launch at our so-called enemies.
And what's really frustrating is that this region of the world is a beautiful region.
Can you imagine if they would just stop the bullshit?
The kind of money they could make?
You build yourself a Riviera on that coast.
And people will flock to it, look at Dubai, look at several places in the Middle East.
If you build it, they'll come.
But you have to provide security.
But to do that in the proper way, you have to get rid of all the corruption.
And unfortunately, that's just not going to happen in a place like Yemen.
Whether Epstein ever corresponded with the prince about Yemen is not known.
There was a brief ceasefire in the country that year, but it was brokered by the United
Nations, not Epstein.
Past away in 2020, the Yemeni Civil War is still ongoing.
And probably not going to end anytime soon.
There are way too many disagreements between the factions in Yemen for them to come to the
table.
Or I guess you would say to the tent, whatever you want to call it, they're not going
to do it.
At least not anytime soon.
Of course, the caveat to that is the ceasefire with Iran.
So we'll have to see what goes on there before we know geopolitically speaking, how that
is going to affect other countries in the region.
But I don't see the civil war in Yemen.
Stop it anytime soon.
Epstein's involvement with Abdul Hock was not the only time that the finance here waited
into political affairs of the Middle East.
Cutter was in the midst of an international crisis in 2017.
An alliance of Arab states, led by Saudi Arabia, had initiated a de facto blockade, claiming
that Cutter was funding terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State, an allegation
that the country steadfastly denied.
Epstein had advice for Jabor Yusuf Al-Fani, a member of the Qatari ruling family.
Qatar should stop kicking and arguing he wrote, Cutter needs to come out against terrorism
loud.
Foreign Minister Mohammed Al-Fani is not experienced and it shows.
Epstein's suggestions, recognize Israel, put 1 billion into a fund to benefit the victims
of terrorist acts that would be administered by the US, the UK, and the United Nations
pay for electricity in Gaza and support an international committee to look into terrorism
financing around the world.
Al-Fani, whom Epstein knew from at least 2012, agreed with some of Epstein's views their
correspondence suggests, but whether they were conveyed to the foreign minister of Cutter's
leader, Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Fani is unclear.
Epstein was also in frequent correspondence with Anas Al-Rashid, an academic and former
information minister from Kuwait, which was mediating between Cutter and the other Arab
countries.
Epstein, the record show, tried to initiate a back-channel meeting between the Saudi
Crown Prince and Cutter's ex-prime minister.
I know that HBJ, Cutter's Hamad bin Jaseem Al-Bani would like to sit with MBS in a face-to-face
Epstein wrote in July of 2017 to Al-Rashid, I think that would be a good step.
It's unclear whether such a meeting ever took place.
The crisis was finally resolved in 2021, long after Epstein was found dead in federal
custody on August 10, 2019.
Well, I think what it really shows you, and gets right to the heart of it, is that Jeffrey
Epstein was a free agent, and that he was working for whoever he felt could enrich him,
or give him an in-road, to get closer to power, because that's what it was all about.
It wasn't about just his proclivities, like the governments trying to tell you.
And I don't know how much more evidence is needed to make people see what was really
going on here.
Epstein also facilitated a meeting between former Israeli prime minister, Ahud Burak, and
Cutter's former prime minister, Amir Hamad bin Jaseem Al-Bani in the winter of 2018, in
Night's Bridge, and upscale neighborhood in London.
I think that what we can take from all of this is just how well-connected Jeffrey Epstein
was in this region in the world.
And I think it's important to understand just how connected he was in all of these regions,
because it wasn't just here, it wasn't just America, it wasn't just the Middle East,
it was Russia, it was South America, it was Asia, everywhere.
So please, somebody explained to me how just some lone predator who had some real disgusting,
disgusting behaviors could be so well-connected.
Please explain that, well the only explanation is that he was so well-connected because
that's what he did.
That was his job, that's how he made his money.
And I think that's finally coming to light.
The release record showed that Burak had made a pitch to the Qataris.
Carbine and Israeli tech startup for which Burak was a lead investor and board chairman
wanted to provide security services and anti-drone technology when Qatar hosted the Soccer
World Cup in 2022.
Burak was cognizant of how the Arab populace would perceive Israeli involvement.
We can work through a European company of your choice and minimize Israeli profile,
he wrote.
What neither Burak nor Epstein mentioned was that at least one million of Burak's investment
into Carbine had come from Epstein Southern Trust Company.
Bruce Goodman and attorney for Burak told The Herald that Burak had conducted some
preliminary due diligence to explore whether Carbine could support security at the World
Cup but it quickly became clear that the company was not suited for that role.
He said that Carbine did not pursue a bid and added that all of Burak's activities were
conducted in compliance with all laws, all I have a hard time believing that.
We all know how deep the ties ran.
Carbine Ehud Burak and Jeffrey Epstein.
And we also know what Virginia said about Ehud Burak.
And in fact, I believe her.
Qatar's embassy in Washington in the country's international media office which handles all
press requests did not respond to the Herald's queries.
The Herald also tried to contact Al-Fani through Sib Insurance on whose board he sits but
did not receive any response.
Dalton Ahmed bin Suleyam, then chairman of DP World, Dubai's primary cargo logistics
company emailed Epstein on May 9, 2009.
At the time Epstein was serving his 18-month sentence in the Palm Beach County Stock
Aid but was allowed to spend 12 hours a day, six days a week in his office, under a work
release program his attorneys had negotiated which of course is one of the biggest travesties
of this whole entire sorted or deal.
I can't imagine anyone getting that kind to deal.
Never mind somebody that committed crimes against children.
bin Suleyam who had a year's long relationship with Epstein was in a fix.
The 2008 global recession triggered by the US subprime mortgage crisis had dried up the
funds for DP World's $3 billion project built the London Gateway a commercial mega port
roughly 30 miles east of the British capital.
The project is now on hold, bin Suleyam wrote in a memo to Epstein on May 9, 2009.
We would like the UK government support to fund this immediate off-site infrastructure.
Epstein forwarded the memo to Lord Mandelson who said he would speak to bin Suleyam.
Mandelson was a UK business secretary at the time.
Is it all starting to make sense yet how this worked?
Do you think Jeffrey Epstein didn't get any money for any of this?
You think he was just passing this information on out of the kindness of his heart or do
you think that he was getting a bag?
Other correspondence many after Epstein's release in July of 2009 show him try angulating
communication between the British bureaucrat and the Emirati businessman.
In November correspondence Epstein edited a letter bin Suleyam sent Mandelson demanding
funding guarantees from the UK government.
Unfortunately, without vast assurances that the UK government would cover any funding shortfall,
the viability of the project remains uncertain, the letter said.
The records do not reveal what conversations Mandelson may have had with the country's
financial institutions about the project and what role Epstein may have played in them.
The Royal Bank of Scotland was the only British institution that participated in roughly
$800 million financing package put together by a consortium of global banks.
It always leads back to the financial sector, doesn't it?
Every last bit of this.
On proud of you, Epstein wrote in an email to bin Suleyam after the public announcement
of the opening date for the port in 2011.
The British authorities arrested Mandelson earlier this year for allegedly passing sensitive
government information to Epstein while serving as his business secretary.
Mandelson has not been charged and is currently out on bail.
The heralds and questions to attorneys representing him but did not receive any answers.
How could he not be charged?
Like are you for real right now?
There's an absolute paper trail that is telling us exactly what was going on.
I would think that there's going to be charges coming or is the UK just given us the
runaround, which I wouldn't be shocked by.
Let's not act like Scotland yards above reproach.
I mean, they vastly ignored Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes for years.
And it wasn't until all of this craziness started happening where people started demanding
answers where they decided that they'd have a new investigation.
So I'm not all that confident in Scotland yard Epstein, whose relationship with bin Suleyam
began before the financiers arrest you mean pedophile, right?
In Florida in 2008, on the prostitution charges, what you mean is molesting kids, right?
prostitution charges, really?
Met and corresponded with the Emirati for more than a decade.
Bin Suleyamon sought to introduce the financier to Sheikh Hamden bin Mohamed Al-Moktum, the
crown prince of Dubai, and shared the prince's contact information with him, the record
show.
Under the prince and the financier ever spoke is unclear.
Bin Suleyamon often kept Epstein abreast of sensitive meetings between the United Arab
Emirates and heads of other countries like Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev of Russia.
Bin Suleyam stepped down from his post as D.P.'s world chairman and chief executive in February
this year following immense pressure regarding his relationship with Epstein.
Neither the Emirati Embassy in Washington nor D.P. World responded to the Harold Squareys.
The Harold also attempted to reach Bin Suleyam through an email ID that was released along
with the records but did not receive any response.
Among the last correspondence Epstein had about the Middle East is a chat with far-right
provocateur Steve Vannon in June of 2019.
They were discussing the arrest of George Nader, a Lebanese American businessman, and
once advisor to the UAE for possession of child pornography.
Can you imagine Epstein wrote?
He, Nader, actually literally had pictures of some kid effing a goat.
What the fuck?
Like what does that even mean?
And I know Epstein likes to embellish but when we're talking about this part of their
world, I have questions.
Epstein himself was arrested by federal agents in New York just a month later on sex trafficking
charges.
He was found dead on August 10, 2019 in a federal detention center in Lower Manhattan.
When we're talking about Epstein, we have to remember that this guy was connected to
a lot of powerful people and it wasn't just people in Israel or people in the United States.
We're talking about movers and shakers from all over the world.
So when I tell you that Jeffrey Epstein's trafficking ring, his criminal empire, stretch
from continent to continent, I'm not kidding you.
And when we talk about Jeffrey Epstein being a free agent and being somebody that only
cared about himself and his own wealth and his own well-being, I think that this is the
kind of evidence that really slams it home because at the end of the day for Jeffrey
Epstein, the only thing that mattered was Jeffrey Epstein.
