Here's a shift worth noting.
Better health care is care that meets patients where they are.
United Health Group is bringing it directly to living rooms.
This is a win for patients managing chronic conditions.
And here's the interesting thing.
By closing those care gaps, administering in-home exams and identifying risks earlier,
more diseases can be prevented and patient outcomes can improve.
In 2025 alone, United Health Group patients received over 19 million home visits.

Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome.
I'm Karen Hunter.
It's women's history month.
So I want to do a little short reminder for women of a certain age.
This is a special year for me.
And I must admit, I feel so
empowered.
I feel so empowered.
I saw a clip from Morgan Freeman.
He was on one of these talk shows and, you know, he's a man of a certain age.
And he was asked, you know, how do you deal with aging or something?
And he said Clint Eastwood told him, okay, let me just say all these men are problematic.
But the message, I'm always chewing up the meat spitting out the bones of him.
When I hear a good message, I'm going to share it.
Okay.
And he said Clint Eastwood told him, don't let the old man in.
And I thought about that.
Society will tell you women of a certain age.
And I think it's after child bearing that you are not valuable,
that you're worth in needfulness or your worth and value in this society has diminished
because you no longer can produce children.
But we've talked about this in this space before.
Menopause is actually one of the most powerful times and periods in a woman's life.
It is when you are the most powerful.
And you spend most of your life out of child bearing if you're listening to me.
And I can't stress this enough because the light bulb came on.
Not just because I'm in that period,
but it just made so much sense because I feel like I can do everything
that I imagine.
And I'm not worrying about bleeding every month.
And during the time towards the later years before menopause,
I was suffering from fibroids.
I was heavily anemic because, you know,
the bleeding and the bleeding was debilitating.
I've been through, and this is, I know, it's a little graphic.
I've been through a lot of things.
I've been one of the most embarrassing moments ever.
I was at somebody's home and I got up and had blood on their cushion.
And I was so mortified.
I was so mortified.
And I just remember, you know, always having to navigate that time of the month,
especially when, you know, the fibroid situation was
very, very problematic.
And I direct you to my podcast,
several ones that I had with Dr. Sharon Malone
and talking about menopause.
So y'all can get your life.
This is going to be a short one
where I just want to encourage people of a certain age.
Typically, those of you, if you are heading towards a certain age,
and let me just say, if you're in your authorities right now,
hope to get to your 50s and 60s.
If you're in your 20s right now listening to this,
the goal is to keep living.
The goal is to live life abundantly
well into your 50, 60, 70s and 80s and 90s.
I want people in their 90s want that to be aspirational.
You know, I think about Ernestine, the weightlifter
who started lifting weights in her late 50s.
And she's now in her 80s out there bodybuilding.
Lord have mercy.
Yes, those are the goals.
So, and you can get some tips here, of course,
because Karen Hunter's awesome is providing all of that.
Renee Siler, who is in her 60s,
talks about fasting and reversing A1C.
But it's the weightlifting and all of that.
But I came across this clip and it made me chuckle
because it's absolutely an alignment with where I am right now.
And probably where I've always been.
Because this is the time of your life,
when you should no longer compromise,
or you should absolutely be certain about who you are,
and what you want to do every single day.
And you get to choose.
Those of you who have had your children
and moved out the house and you are,
empty nested, those of you who have never had a child.
And you are living a child-free life.
This is your time to really set your intentions
on what it is that you want to do.
And nobody outside, you're not living for anybody.
You're not living for the approval of anybody.
And so, if you want to do all the things,
do all the things,
to cosmetically, and what have you.
And if you don't, don't.
This is what freedom looks like.
And I wanted for everybody.
So, when I saw these ladies there on Instagram,
we are here there as their Instagram handle.
We are here there.
And they do a lot of these little funny clips
as two women talking about a bunch of stuff.
But this is a clip that caught my attention.
So, I want to share it with you.
Take a listen.
Things that changed our life at 50.
No more thumbs.
String up the butt, Eric is over.
There's just no reason to be mildly uncomfortable all day.
Eating dinner early and not apologizing for it.
Sleep wins, and your digestive tract will thank you.
Hello, 530PM reservations.
Love the early bird's special.
Buying duplicates of the things that work.
Right?
When you find a good tea, a good bra, good jeans,
just buy duplicates.
This is no more time to experiment.
It's not boring.
It's brilliant.
Walking with no destination.
It's not a workout.
It's not a step goal.
It's just leaving the house and moving your body
until you feel better.
Somehow, it always works.
Damn it.
Even though I don't believe her, it does.
Magnesium at night.
Because you're probably deficient.
It's for sleep, for muscles, for mood,
and for not waking up feeling wrecked.
Amen.
Grocery home delivery service.
Don't get me wrong.
I still love wandering a grocery store every now and again.
But having your groceries delivered to your doorstep changes everything.
Something's got to be easier.
Truth.
So, they had me at thongs.
Yep, no more thongs.
So, full disclosure, never thongs.
I don't think I have ever owned a thong
in my entire life.
It never made sense to me.
Having dental floss in my butt crack and walking around like that all day.
And I know some of y'all like that.
If you like it, I'm not going to yuck your yum.
I'm not.
My ass has always been a little too big
for me to walk around with something in the crack of it.
It just never made any sense.
So, she said, no more thongs.
Penny line, so what?
Yes, I'm wearing panties.
You can see them?
Who cares?
That's never motivated me.
So, I've never done a thongs.
Early dinners, absolutely.
I try not to eat after seven.
And Renee, Tyler and I talked about, you know,
the fasting period and all that.
That is part of it.
And it has been transformative.
She, they are absolutely right.
Stop snacking, stop eating after certain period.
Eat your dinners early.
And they, they even added the early bird specials.
You even save some money when you're going out to dinner.
But it has, you know, to not go to bed with a full stomach
or a heavy stomach has been really great.
I wake up every morning and I usually now get up early five,
thirty six o'clock.
Refreshed.
And I'm not walk, you know, I'm not waking up.
You know, with inflammation or anything.
Absolutely.
Buying duplicates?
Baby, let me tell you what a ground break.
I have an outfit that I like that I just went
bought two more of the same.
Didn't even have any different colors.
I just like how it fits and they stop making it.
Like it was hard.
I had to go search everywhere.
I even reached out to Rick Martin,
who does the global majority.
And I was like, can you duplicate this?
Because I want to wear this every Monday through Friday.
Can you make this in different colors?
This particular outfit, this jumpsuit that I love.
And I have like five packs of the match that I like,
just in case, because what I've discovered,
and they didn't say this.
But if there's a scent that you like,
or if there's a particular kind of soap or lotion or tea,
and they said, these things get discontinued all the damn time.
So I just discovered a new deodorant.
I bought like five of the same deodorant,
because you're all going to mess around
and discontinue the particular scent that I like.
I will be upset.
So I want to always have, yes,
my cupboards and closets are full of the same things.
Because comfort and joy have to be at the top of everybody's to-do list.
So yes, don't overthink it, they said it.
There's a bright you like.
I have 10 of the same bra,
because I found a bra that actually absolutely perfect.
The jeans, y'all already know.
And each season, they go and change it up anyway.
So you can wear something that you like for the next 10 years.
Why not?
And walking with no destination?
Yes.
I discovered this a couple of years ago.
As you know, I'm getting in my steps.
I'm no longer being anal about the 11,000.
I reduced that to 10,000,
because it was becoming a rote thing.
And I'm already a little a lot OCD.
And I didn't want it to become a chore for me.
I want to walk because I need to walk,
because I love to walk.
So if I get 7,000 steps in one day and 12,000 in the next day,
I'm not stressing it.
But they're absolutely right.
Walking with no destination.
Just walking, feeling the breeze,
even when it's cold.
The snow storm that we had,
I actually got out there and walked.
It was freezing.
But there was a great experience.
The silence.
Oh, there was nobody else out there.
Who else would be out there in the cold?
In the snow, I'll put on my boots.
I put on my bubble jacket.
And the thing that I covered my nose and face with,
my face covering and my hat and my gloves.
And I got out there and it was just so glorious.
And every day I get to be outside walking.
It does something and she's right.
They're right.
No destination.
Your brain is something happens.
I love it.
Now, where they lost me,
the home shopping delivery groceries.
No, absolutely not.
I will not have somebody pick out my fruits and vegetables
and the things that I'm going to be eating.
Yeah, no, that's actually part of my therapy
to go into the supermarket.
I go to the supermarket at least two times a week
because I'm eating fresh fruits and vegetables
and I'm cooking now.
And so, you know, things go bad.
Freshly cucumbers and things.
So I'm always in the grocery store.
I can't imagine somebody touching my fruits and vegetables.
So yeah, no, ma'am.
No, this is where I'm not delivering.
But I, you know, during the pandemic,
the first time I actually did do it and it was convenient.
But, you know, I'm two germ coaches.
I don't know these people.
And I've seen too many DoorDash horror stories
on Instagram where y'all can do stuff to the people.
Just me, just me.
But everything else, chef's kids.
All right, I hope this encourages you.
