I've been wanting to say this, and I don't like to... I'm not a Bible banger. I'm not a

Catholicizer. I don't know a lot of scripture. I just... I get uncomfortable.

A lot of times I don't go. Sorry, I'm just sorry. A lot of times when you go to church

functions or whatever, it's just... I find it to be... I don't know. I don't feel comfortable.

A lot of times. When you go to an event that's at a church, sometimes, depending on the

church, it just seems a little forced. I don't know. But I'm a person of faith.

A lot of times we take a lot of slings and arrows and we don't say anything about it.

Somebody sent me a piece about suffering. One of the things that I've been afraid to admit

the last couple of years is that I've been really suffering. I turn my life around

and I quit drinking and all this and tried to save my marriage. And my wife decided to

leave me anyway. And it really didn't make any sense. I mean, I was an insufferable person

for a number of years being drunk and depressed and out of work frequently and whatever,

and all of that. But I turned it around and I committed myself to her and my family.

I really wanted the family to stay together so we could bring the grandkids home to see mom

and dad in the house, but that didn't happen. And so I was afraid to admit to myself

that I've been suffering. But every night, you know, it's kind of the same grind. I get home

from the show. I go, you know, maybe take a little nap, go to the gym and then spend the rest of the

evening doing show prep for the show for you guys. And I felt a good deal of joy in a

new location living in a beautiful place. But the winter was very hard, I mean. And I began

to kind of, you know, stop praying at night. I'm tired. I don't, you know, I'll do it tomorrow.

I'll just, you know, do it tomorrow and I'll turn over and pull myself to sleep, you know.

And it's kind of a shame because, because God saved me. If I would have continued on the path

that I was going six years ago, I'd be dead. I would have died a couple of years ago.

But, but I, you know, I've been going through these things by myself in this new place building this

studio myself, my own money, all my blends, what tears every ounce of my soul has gone into this, this

broadcast in this room, which was graciously given to me by a man named Mark Giuliani, who has been a gift

from God. But I've been here by myself largely. And I've kind of afraid to admit that I've suffered.

Sometimes we, you know, especially if you're a dad, if you're a breadwinner, you, you suffer.

Mother's suffer, quietly, you know. And so I'll just get to the point. I go in and get my dry cleaning on Friday

and I don't get dry cleaning. I get my, you know, night shirts from TV at this little cleaner, you know,

and I get them and they get them washed when they get impressed and then I pick them up. I've never had this happen in my life.

Sometimes when you're at a cleaner, if they find something in your shirt pocket or a pants pocket or something like a $20 bill

or some keys or whatever, they'll put it in a little bag and they'll fasten it. They'll, they'll safety pet it to your, your order and then they'll give it to you.

And, and this woman, she, she, you know, she's this Asian lady and she lays her stuff down and she goes, oh, we found this in your pocket.

Then I'm like, what, find what in my pocket? And he shows, she shows me that I've never seen him before.

You guys streaming? Well, we can see it. It's a little Bible. I mean, it's a tiny Bible and I've never seen it before and she says it was in your pocket.

It was in one of the pockets of one of the clothes that you brought to us and I've never seen it before. I've never touched it before.

I wouldn't even know where to get this. Where would I get a tiny, pocket-sized Bible?

And on top of that, I guess because of a printer error or something, one of the pages was folded over and it wasn't just folded over like intentionally.

It was a crease in it. It was, it was, when they printed it, it, I guess got folded over because, you know, like it's creased where the ink didn't hit the paper.

But it just happens to be on these pages and I open it up and I'll read, read to you some of the, some of the words if you don't mind.

Now, faith is the substance of things. Hold on, it's light over here.

Hope for the evidence of things not seen without faith it is impossible to please him for that kind of to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

For he hath said, I will never have the nor forsake thee so that we may boldly say the Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Submit yourselves therefore to God resist the devil and he will flee from you.

When I was, when I was an alcoholic and I was praying for God to let me die and I was looking at the ceiling and saying to God, why are you doing this to me?

Why are you doing this to me? Why are you doing this? Where are my answers? Where the hell are my answers? Why are you giving me answers? Why are you doing this to me?

Then I realized it wasn't him. To him knoweth to do good and death if not to him it is sin but let's submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

And I think the devil was doing it again. I really do. Because I was beginning to separate a little bit. I was beginning to separate a little bit and this showed up.

You are faith being much more precious than a gift that persisteth though it be tried with fire might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the beginning of the appearing of Jesus Christ.

This happened Easter Sunday when I got this. Not Easter Sunday, Palm Sunday.

Christ also suffered for us leaving us an example that ye should follow his steps. I don't know. I believe that these things happen for a reason and I was telling my producer, Ken, every once in a while God gives you a little nudge, a little nudge, a little reminder.

You know what we went through a couple years ago? Don't go down that path again. I never saw this Bible in my life. I've never seen this little white Bible in my life. I've never seen it.

And it's folded over to the passage that is exactly what I'm going through right now.

I got a note from someone today. I won't say a name. I just wanted to reach out privately to let you know that your testimony of beating alcohol addiction has given me so much hope to do it. I've been free from addiction for seven weeks now.

The longest time, many times I've tried. Thank you for sharing your faith as I had confided in my past or as hard as it was to do. And I've shifted away, shifted my alcohol urges into spending more time with the Bible. I have been extremely surprised on how easy it has been.

And I'm not I'm so grateful for not having physical symptoms with the change in my lifestyle. This happened to me except for it happened overnight. Thank you again for your sharing your story. I thought I was an it was an irreversible situation.

And now I'm experiencing a freedom of kind of freedom that I thought I'd never have. So I'll just say. And you know, my my my goal here on this show is to entertain and form and motivate you. That's my that's my charge. I'm not here to piss you off. I'm not here to bang a table with my opinion like my opinions more valuable than anybody else's.

I'm here to entertain and form you and motivate you and also to witness to witness to you about what's possible. Listen, it's you're always going to have setbacks. You're always going to do this. But I pick myself up every day and I come in here because I know you depend on me and I depend on you.

That's why I say that, you know, we are going through good versus evil right now. The No Kings protests. There are a lot of evil people paid for by, never saying them and George source. They're evil people. They're communists. They're God hating. They believe children should be chained, transgenderized versus us versus TPUS day versus the Iranian people who came to Washington DC to thank Donald Trump for saving their country.

So we're in the throes of it and evil will try to separate you from God. And I think God gave me a little nudge. I think he gave me a little nudge. So it gave me a little kind of gave me a little because I was, you know, beginning to kind of, you know, repeat some of the things of the past. Nothing, not drinking or anything like that. But, but, you know, moving away a little bit. And I just got a little nudge, a little Bible in my pocket that I never saw ever, ever, ever.

I've never had anything like this happen in my life. I've never had anything like this happen. I've never had this somebody tell me, yeah, we found it in your coat pocket. How did you get in my pocket? How did it get in my pocket?

It was there. I wanted to share that with you. It's Easter week. This Easter. I can feel it. Can you feel it? Can you feel it? There's a spiritual awakening happening in this country and around the world. It is happening.

Something completely different. I watched a link in this weekend. It's a movie that I just absolutely love. I just love it. The dialogue is amazing. I mean, Sally Field is amazing.

Tommy Lee Jones is remarkable. It's just a great movie. The dialogue is just brilliant. And I was not saying anything like this happened in our Senate. However, Mike Lee said something this weekend. I thought was actually just amazing about citizenship. And I think it was a great piece of oratory and and and fact.

Everyone is family. No one is family. If everything is urgent, nothing is urgent. If everyone is given the benefit of a city of citizenship by allowing them to vote, then citizenship means nothing.

That is the core message that I wish our Democrat colleagues would accept. And I am confident they will ultimately accept as we continue to make this argument because we're not going away. I'm not going away.

I will be back on this floor in this chamber day after day, week after week, month after month, as long as it takes, I am not giving up.

Good. Not a chance in hell am I giving up on this because this is about the American dream itself. This is about the fact that when you allow non-citizens to vote, you are robbing something from the American people from each individual American citizen, something which is distinctively rightfully bears.

You cannot take that away. You are taking it away when you allow somebody else to cast a vote that will cancel out yours. That Mr. President is unfair. It is unacceptable. It is un-American. It is illegal. We must not tolerate it and we will not.

That is a great piece of oratory by Mike Lee. I mean, really. Well, well crafted, well said, well said. A little bit more from the no-kings. Some absurdity coming up. It is very funny actually.

because if it's ignorance let me help you understand, this is what happens to women in Iran,

Ruffalo, he's really privileged people who, you know, who are all of a sudden trying

to teach you something, you know, Mark Ruffalo never went to college, he's never read any

at the Academy Awards, Harvey R. Bardem, never went to college, he's never read a book,

he doesn't know anything, but there's a word for this and it's not just Karen's, it's

monasticism, look at what a complicated person I am, I'm so complicated, look at me that

I see the world very broadly, I can see things, and I see that, yeah, you see the Ayatollah,

but I see an avuncular old man, you know, and hey, hey man, hey, don't forget, I've got

a lapel pin, so don't even challenge me because I have a lapel pin, yeah, what's the deal,

I got to play that, you got to hear this, this is a No Kings protestor and this exemplifies

what you're talking about, I've always said that Democrats have bumper sticker logic,

they have a bumper sticker that says coexist and it's spelled in religious symbols, not

acknowledging that one of those religions wants to kill all the other ones, that that

doesn't matter because it is on their car and it is, so it is a virtue signal like a lapel

pin, listen to this No Kings protestor and every No Kings protestor that I heard this

weekend, every single one of them sounded like this, so what brings you out to that?

No Kings Day, and why specifically are you out supporting No Kings Day?

I think protest is important, why are you protesting?

How much time do you ask?

Oh there you go, that's a stall, that's a stall, couple minutes, what's the main reason

you're out here protesting President Trump?

I agree with a lot of the decisions that are being made, is there any decision in particular

you disagree with?

Where, okay, so I would start with, well, oh this is great, I don't even think, I don't

even think it's appropriate for me to, okay so it's just that appropriate to bring it

up because it's so terrible what Donald Trump is doing, no I think what you think, it's

not appropriate for me to be embarrassed like this, I know, I am an indistinguishable like

Mark Ruffalo, and if you ask me a second question, I can literally shout in your face, that

I know how to do, but I said this all before, my last book was on Israel, it's called Beyond

Proportionality, Israel's Just War in Gaza, and I travel the country talking about this

war, and you were invariably the carons as you would say, or I would say the moral

narcissist, I always say what Israel's doing is against international law, and I always

say what law, what is the law, I'm a law professor, but can you tell me what law specifically

you're referring to, and they go nuts, they don't know what the day go like that girl,

that can't, you know they're going don't ask me a question, it's not appropriate for

you to embarrass me, I have a script, my script is that I'm protesting and I'm opposed

to something, I don't exactly know what it is, but it rhymes with Trump, you know, therefore

don't ask me what about Trump, I just know I don't like Trump, I could possibly say

tell you what it is, but I'm standing here with my friends, and I'm shouting, unfortunately

that's what America's become, so you know when you look back to the Lincoln Douglas debate,

you know there was a time in this country, 19th century, right, even the 18th century, Jefferson,

Hamilton, didn't get along, right, and they could debate, and they actually debated each

other, and people with mutual respect here, people who shout the loudest know the least,

I don't know anything, 100%, 100%, and you just, you just play two clips, yes, now

they, it's funny, I was watching, I watched Lincoln over the weekend, have you seen the

Daniel Day Lewis Lincoln, yeah, yeah, oh I've seen it probably 20 times, my ex wife hated

it, she hated it because it was dry, but the mon, the dialogue is so brilliant, and

while the obviously the Confederates were wrong in their opposition, you know at least

they were articulate, no, and in fact, remember in that movie, yeah, in that movie Lincoln

is aware of that, so in his, when they're actually dealing with the leader, what is left

of the leadership of the Confederacy, they're trying to speak to them in, you know, respectful,

you know, terms of here are what we think is how we should move forward, not screaming,

but, you know, truly diplomatic, even the surrender, how dignified that scene was at

athletics, right?

Oh my God, very dignified, two generals that sort of knew each other and fought the most

brutal war ever, you know, and yet, look how they handled themselves.

It was amazing, and you know what, I drove by Arlington this weekend, I found myself

alongside this outer road, I was going to go into Arlington, but they had a roadblock

and I decided to go off the offer road, and I pulled up the side and I looked up and

I saw Grant's house there, and you know, they took that house, or at least house, and

they took that house, and then they buried our war dead on his property, and they continue

to do that.

And I said of the people, and I said of the people who went off these no kings protest,

you will never die with the honor that these have died, you will never have the amount

of honor that these dead have, and it just, it was breathtaking to see the thousands of

headstones before me.

Go ahead.

They don't know, they literally don't know, or they don't care Rob, but the sacrifices

were made, so they could have the freedom to run around, shout, and be like it yet.

the speech and in the indoctrination and the ideology.

What is going on with Gavin Newsom and his apparent, obviously it's patronizing, but

what, how do you really feel, he thinks he feels about the Jewish state?

I don't know, you know, he claims, I quoted him as saying I worship or I adore the state

of Israel and I'm a, and, you know, he said, he made it very clear that he supports Israel

and either worships or adores, I forgot the word that he used and I quoted him.

So he was doing that in order to say, I understand that the people in my party who run this

party are openly anti-Zionist and they want to call for the end of the Jewish state.

I'm not doing that.

And I think what he's trying to do is distinguish himself.

Well, I don't know if he actually believes it.

Maybe he thinks, he doesn't believe anything.

Yeah, maybe he thinks, maybe he thinks AOC is a competitor to him.

Maybe he thinks, Mandami, you know, who people are talking about, has maybe saying, I don't

want to have to run again, someone who's Muslim and then at that point, I'm going to

lose that vote.

I might as well go back and see if I can get some Jewish vote.

He's a shape shifter.

That's all you need to know.

You know, if he had some real, if he had some real commitment, he'd have on a lapel

pin for Israel.

But I all I cared about in that thing, Rob, is that I would like to break up the progressive

control over the Democratic Party.
