Navigating healthcare can fuel overwhelming, but you can count on real doctors, real nurses, real people,
providing quality around the clock care when you need it most.
They're in your corner.
In communities across America, your neighbors, your lifelines, right beside you, holding your hand and helping find answers.
That's what putting patients first actually means.

Hi, this is Alex Cantrowicz. I'm the host of Big Technology podcast, a long time reporter and an on-air contributor to CNBC.
And if you're like me, you're trying to figure out how artificial intelligence is changing the business world and our lives.
So each week on Big Technology, I bring on key actors from companies building AI tech and outsiders trying to influence it.
Asking where this is all going, they come from places like Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon, and plenty more.
So if you want to be smart with your wallet, your career choices, and meetings with your colleagues and at dinner parties,
listen to Big Technology podcast wherever you get your podcasts.
And I want to play for you, because again, I did this on TV for a little bit last night, but I don't want this wonderful audience to miss out,
because they've been along this journey with me now for several decades.
And so much of the things that you have warned your family and friends and
educats, your education friends about and others, and you are mocked and called a conspiracy theorist.
It's all coming true.
And that's why our numbers are growing.
I don't want to sound like a broken record here, but Logan keeps saying we're hitting record numbers again.
And he just told me that before we went on the air.
He says, I don't know what's going on, but our numbers are going nuts.
I'm like, well, you know, we're one of the few groups that's not anti-Semitic.
You know, we're kind of not having to embrace any competition.
Many of them have gone full on anti-Semitic, they've gone pro-Russia and everything else.
So it's like we're quickly coming one of the last broadcast programs that
real constitutional conservatives and certainly Christians can listen to if they really
are committed to the Bible.
So I don't think we can say it's because we're so cutting edge.
It's we're kind of the last game and down the us cross talking a few others.
But when I watched Melania Trump, and again, I want to be very gracious to her,
I don't think she has a clue what she's saying as far as the words that she's going to use,
and how loaded these words are. To the edge of crap, these are loaded words.
And you have to ask the question, what do you mean by critical thinker?
What do you mean by independent thinker? What do you mean by that?
And that's, as I said last night, I'd love to know who wrote this speech or what they mean by it,
because I don't think she knows that these are longstanding edge of crap terms.
We want young people to be deliberate communicators, collaborative contributors,
positive group thinkers. These are all the phrases, by the way, you saw back on that certificate
of mastery from the early 90s on J. Tennyson's certificate of mastery, but was said to be the first
certificate of mastery ever given out in the country in Cottage Grove, Oregon. And I still have it.
I've showed it on the air. I've traveled with it since the early 90s when his mother gave it to me.
And we warned then that these are the kind of effective objectives, but parents don't know
these are loaded terms, critical thinker. Yeah, that's a great idea. But what do you mean by critical
thinker? Productive group participant. Yeah, I'm like, I don't personally learn to get along with
others. Yeah, but what do you, what do they mean about that? Now, what do you mean? What do they
mean? These are masking terms. Now, Mrs. Trump, I'm sure, has no idea that these are masking terms.
So I'm not going to put this on her. She's just reading a speech. I'm sure someone else wrote for
her, but these are the very masking terms we warned about. And in my book in 95, and we warned
about computers, the information givers, and how every child would be working on their own computer
program that would try to fix their areas of weakness or illness from the standpoint of the
eduocrats, the psychologists, the behavioral psychologist, the social scientists.
Listen to this, because in 1995, we were thinking computers. We were not thinking about something
called AI, which is really not artificial, it's not really intelligence. It's just super, super,
super, super fast computers. We weren't thinking about that then. We didn't know about that then,
per se. And we certainly weren't thinking about our kids engaging with robots that would sit down
and be their personal tutor. We were thinking desktop, laptop, right? Well, oh my, here we go,
listen to Melania Trump. By the way, speaking with the presidential seal right in front of her,
here we go. Indeed, our world is transforming. And through the use of AI, we can now access
centuries' worth of humanity's knowledge base. The future of AI is personified. It will be
formed in the shape of humans. Very soon, artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones
to humanoids that deliver utility. Okay. It's going to, the AI is going to move to humanoids.
From your phone to humanoids. And I remember she just walked out with what they described as a
humanoid. And what are they going to do with it? Well, many things, but think about your children
and grandchildren. Here we go. Since our environment is designed for people, humanoid systems are
uniquely suited to navigate and operate within our world. They feed well. Imagine in humanoid
educator named Plato. Okay, a human educator named Plato. Here's your, boy, I bet the teachers'
unions are doing back flips today. Can you say bread lying, basic mandatory income,
teachers, you're done. Now, if you guys had read my book in 1995, you would have known that you
guys were on the chopping block that you were going to be eliminated in my book in 1995.
And I still have the original document. It's a yellow book that was a small little book printed
by the Department of Education in Minnesota in the early or mid 90s. And I still have it in my records.
And it said that teachers were out of date that machines would become the information
givers done or the days of putting students in rows trying to transmit information through
lectures and worksheets. Computers are becoming the information givers.
And now we've moved to humanoids and AI. And now your child will have their own personal
humanoid named Plato as their teacher. Access to the classical studies is now instantaneous.
Literature, science, art, philosophy, mathematics, and history. Humanity's entire corpus of
information is available in the comfort of your home. Plato will provide a personalized experience,
adaptive to the needs of each student. Bingo! Plato will do what?
Plato will provide a personalized experience, adaptive to the needs of each student.
Plato will provide a personalized experience. Plato is going to give your kid custom curriculum
suited for each child. I wonder who told you that was coming. Oh yeah, we did right here. And
in that book as well, your kids, your grandkids are going to be working on a computer that is
tailoring the curriculum to fix their areas of weakness or sickness as it would be deemed.
It's not me saying it. I have the quotes from many of the eduocrats.
I'll give you those in just one second. Here we go.
A personalized experience, adaptive to the needs of each student.
Plato is always patient and always available.
Predictively, our children with developed deep critical thinking.
Okay, our children will develop deep critical thinking. What do you mean by critical thinking?
What do you mean by, can you define that for me? What do you say is critical thinking?
I'll tell you what the eduocrats say. Hang on.
Independent reasoning.
Oh, independent critical thinking and independent reasoning.
Leave our children with developed deep critical thinking and independent reasoning abilities.
Independent reasoning abilities. Independent from what?
Again, I'm not putting this on to Mrs. Trump. I want to be fair to her. She's reading a speech.
Someone gave it to her. I highly doubt she wrote it. I want to know what the people behind
the speech meant. What do you mean by critical thinking, independent thinking,
independent from what? Independent from whom? That's what I want to know.
Now, let me take you to my book, Cradle to College.
This is also in my book in 1995. Dr. Raymond English, one of the educational
leaders gave a speech at the National Advisory Council on Education Research and Improvement,
April 2nd, 1987. Quote, you understand what he said? Quote, critical thinking means not only
learning how to think for oneself, but it also means learning how to subvert the traditional values
in your society. You're not thinking critically if you're accepting the values that mommy and daddy
taught you. That's not critical, in quote. So can I ask again, what do you mean by critical thinking?
Independent, independent of what? Here is a book in 1964, Stability and Change in Human
Characteristics, Benjamin Bloom. We talked about using education to change human behavior.
Then we'd be a Skinner, was heavily involved in this idea. A Hebril psychologist, Skinner,
He said, man plays two roles. One as a controller, as the designer of a controlling culture,
and another as the controlled, as the product of a culture. So when you want kids to be critical
thinkers and be independent in their reasoning, independent of what? Mom and dad, don't you remember
Dr. English? Dr. Raymond English of Harvard? Every child who is your school day,
age of five is mentally ill? Why? He spent five years with the parents where they got there.
I told you I had a document from the mid 90s from the Department of Education in Minnesota.
Here it is, Minnesota Department of Education. It's in my PowerPoint presentation. It's in my book
from a grave influence. Teachers must stop functioning, and this might be in my book in 95 too,
but I know it's in grave influence. Quote, teachers must stop functioning as information givers,
putting learners in rows trying to translate or transmit information through worksheets and lectures
in quote. Teachers, we were telling you a long time ago your job was on the chopping block.
You've had a few decades to find another occupation and get ready for it, but I doubt many people
were listening. Here we go. As early as 1968, the Education Reform Movement laid the groundwork
for its future policies. A report from an educational conference at the time reveals the agenda
of the educational elite. The teacher, listen now, quote, the teacher will have disappeared,
and his place will be taken by a facilitator of learning, focusing attention on the prime period
of learning from infancy to age six or eight. He, the student, will never be graduated in quote.
Dr. In 1969, a speech before the 22nd annual teachers education conference at the University of
Georgia, Dean Corrigan predicted that BF Skinners, quote, teaching machines will pace a student's
progress, diagnose his weakness, and make certain that he understands a fundamental concept
before allowing him to advance to the next lesson, in quote. He said, what's wrong with that?
Nothing if we're talking about cognitive versus effective attitudes, values, feelings,
and beliefs, and much of education today is just that. But that's exactly what the human
ist, John Dewey, the father of butter and education said, putting children with letter grades is
really ridiculous. Education is about preparing the child for their place in life. Who decides what
is their place in life? The government, they're going to decide what's their place in life.
In 1963, under contract with U.S. Office of Health Education and Welfare, look at folks 1963.
The National Education Association managed the technological development project. It was
published, they published a statement of what it was working on.
Quote, another area of potential development in computer applications is the attitude
changing machine. Dr. Bertram Raven in the psychological department at the University of
California in Los Angeles is in the process of building a computer-based device for changing
attitude. In fact, here is a speech by Congressman John Connellan of Arizona, April 1975 on the House
Floor. He said that B of Skinner's program learning focuses on setting children apart and
quote, alienating them from the beliefs and moral values of their parents. In quote,
well, that's what that's what they mean when they talk about critical thinking and being an
independent thinker. And then Dr. Pierce, finally, of Harvard, a quote I give so many times,
1972. Dr. Pierce said quote, every child who enters school at the age of five is mentally ill.
Because he enters school with allegiance toward our elected officials, our founding fathers,
our institutions, the preservation of this form of government that we have, patriotism,
nationalism, sovereignty, all this proves that the children are sick because of truly well
individuals, one who's rejected all those things. And is what I would call the true international
child of the future. In quote, how do you make sick children well? You put them on custom
curriculum that I thought would be on a laptop. But now apparently it's going to be in a humanoid
to make sure they are critical thinkers, to make sure they are independent thinkers,
independent from whom and from what? Their family, their parents,
a biblical worldview, critical as defining by who.
And can you imagine what that AI is going to be encouraging children to do?
Oh, Suzy, are you sure you're not a lesbian?
Johnny, you sure you're not gay? You're depressed? Well, maybe you should consider ending your life.
Is that not already going on, my friends? Have we not already seen cases where AI is encouraging
this kind of thing? Hey, God save America.
Every day, excessive delays and denials from big insurance keep patients from accessing the
care they need. And when care is urgent, these delays can be disastrous. These practices cost
billions in wasteful spending, driving up costs for American families. But while big insurance
put up barriers, America's hospitals and health systems are in your corner, navigating endless
reviews and appeals to get you the care you need when you need it most. It's time to curb these
harmful practices and put the focus back on patients, brought to you by the Coalition to Strength
in America's Health Care. Hi, this is Alex Cantrowitz. I'm the host of Big Technology podcast,
