Alanis Morissette | Healing and Leading With Empathy

About this episode

This week, Thomas sits down with legendary musician and mental health advocate Alanis Morissette to explore trauma healing for highly sensitive people and what it means to lead with empathy.

Alanis graciously and vulnerably shares about her personal healing journey, discussing the somatic and therapeutic tools that helped with her anxiety, work addiction, and burnout, and helped her prioritize rest and nervous system regulation.

She and Thomas discuss our collective need for trauma-informed leadership, how to foster deep relational safety to facilitate healing, and the slow but powerful process of reconnecting to your body and reclaiming your creativity in the process of healing from trauma.
