1:00So here we are, another day, another Pakistan Batting collapse. It just keeps getting worse for them. This one, one of their better ones. I have to admit, 133 all out. They find themselves 64 for six. No runs from the top order. South Chakil digs them out of trouble. Scores 43. He's kind of been the only bright spot there has been. With this Pakistan Batting lineup. But the most of it has just been miserable. I mean, my humming a bass. Looked like one of the best batters today. He should be opening the batting and the bowling for Pakistan at this point. Because his 21, he was one of the only ones that actually don't like a test batter. The rest of them forget about it. The new guys that they bring inside my home goes for a ten ball duck. Was given out LBW, which was a horror of a decision by the way. Like, yeah, he left it outside offstump. And when you leave it, the umpire is desperate to give you out. Still, they should have been a little bit better than that. That was poor. Gazi Gory, new to the side, new wiki, even four. He scores Muhammad Imran scores five.

2:02Resulov scores 11. Yeah, he's back down at number nine. But he's got a first class entry in a first class half century. So maybe you'd expect a little bit more from him, but you got that from the ball later on. You really did. But England's bowling was once again superb. Like the way that Oli Robinson bowls now is just sensational. 11 overs, three maidens, three for 15. He takes today. So his average is still dropping. He goes over 100 test wickets under 20 average, which just doesn't happen that often. Like you can count kind of, I think there's been like maybe like eight, ten that have gone to 100 test wickets with that lower than average. He's got the lowest average of bowlers with over 100 wickets for that are active. You know, ahead of Jasput Bummer, I think his average is like 19.1. Bummer is his 19.74. And when you look up the kind of similarities to what the averages were in the game. So the kind of the metric stats of what actually goes into that Jasput Bummer and Oli Robinson

3:04are really comparable. They are late literally like exactly the same. You think, okay, well, Bummer plays away in India. And so or plays at home in India. So they're not seeming conditions. They're not kind of seeming friendly conditions. Yeah, Oli Robinson plays in England like the ball seems around and does all sorts for him. But the averages for seamers in the test that Oli Robinson has played is basically the same as what Jasput Bummer is. So to even think about putting Oli Robinson on the same level as Jasput Bummer is like genuinely nuts like it is like he shouldn't be anywhere near it. Like he's such a talented baller, but he just keeps taking wickets and not going for any rounds, which is just something the England desperately needed. Like yeah, it's kind of stating the obvious that they really needed a baller to average six in this series. That was really handy to them. Joffhrashe also takes three for 25. I thought he bowled well at times again. A little bit loose to start off with, but he often needs to start with. But then kind of tidied it up here. And he ended up bowling seven half overs.

4:06But it's just tongue. Four for 42. He takes from his 10 overs and just balls wicket taking deliveries. Does it so often? Does it so well? Yeah, there's some bad balls in there. Yeah, he goes right over four and over. But he just takes wickets. Like he's just so good at it. And this, especially the trio of Joffhrashe Robinson and Tongue have been unstoppable this summer. And I just think that you have to have a conversation of those three in like every game. Gus Ackinson has really been quiet this summer, though, with the exception of that game at lords against New Zealand. Like he just hasn't taken a lot of wicket. He's ever seen 156 in this series. And considering Pakistan as a team on averaging 156 runs per innings is nuts. Like it really is. Like Gus Ackinson is really, really struggling at the moment. And I hope he sorts it out because I do think that he is a good bowler. But if he's not going to take wickets and he went for over six and over today from his five overs,

5:09not for 31 from his five, including the maiden throne in there, then maybe you do have to look elsewhere. Maybe the Dibbley W Sam cut needs to come into the side to kind of match up with Robinson. And then you've got the exciting pace of Archer and Tongue with him. Maybe that's the way that they go. If Ackinson isn't going to take the wickets, I think he's got enough credit in the bank at the moment to say, OK, this is just like he hasn't with the exception of today. Like he hasn't bolt terribly in this series. And there's just been relatively unlucky. The back quite a bit. I do think that he still bowls a bit of a pretty length. And there's a little bit short. And that does worry me about him. However, I think you just kind of keep going with this quartet as much as you can until it kind of fails. And then maybe say, OK, do we need to go somewhere else? Do we go to a sunny Baker with that kind of young and big, spressed pace and it's exciting? Or do we go for a Sam cook and go that way rather than going for three pace and two kind of slower, skillful bowlers like Robinson? But I think the way that test cricket is going with slow and skillful

6:10and scene movement, keep it up to the stump. And then Sam Cook would be perfect for that role. I feel sorry for Jamie Smith's knees and hips and thighs and things like that. But you got to do what you got to do. And I do think that that would be a good opportunity for Sam Cook to come into the side. I understand why they wanted to keep the same bowling attack and they didn't rest anyone. So I do get it, but it would have been nice to see something slightly different, especially with Atkinson, not having the best series so far. And when it came to England's reply, they weren't a bit of trouble early on. Joe Rue once again, Trapped LBW. And I don't know if this is Joe Rue is losing it and Joe Rue is going. Or he's just got a bit of an issue with being Trapped LBW's trying to fix a couple of other things than this LBW issue has come into it. But I think it's 10 times now in the last 13 innings that he's been caught LBW to the scene. Considering it was three in the last 72 innings, is not something that you want to see as an England fan. I think you'll sort it out. He's a constant tinkerer. You could see that he was trying to do something slightly different today

7:10and did get one that knipped back from a bowl that he probably hasn't ever faced before in Raztula. Who was bowling 90 mile an hour. It's something that we just kind of haven't seen from Pakistan in this series so far. So if you are going to Trapped LBW again, it's a bit of a worry. But I think you'll work it out and hopefully we'll be fine going into that South Africa test. But if this problem is still around coming into next summer ahead of that ashes, we really need Joe Rue. We're like, really do. I mean, you're going scored 60, looks really good for it. Batting with really good temperament. He was really slow at the start. Then quickened up a little bit when he was batting with Harry Brook. I do think that when you're batting with Harry Brook, you naturally score quicker. Because Harry Brook just scores naturally quickly. His strike rotation, his boundary percentage, is all up there with some of the kind of most proactive scorers in the history of test cricket. So of course he's going to score a lot of runs and he scores a lot of runs quickly.

8:10I do think that that kind of transfers over to the other players. But he looks good for his 60 until he was eventually out again to Raztula, who has balled really well. And coming into this side, this Pakistan attack needed a point of difference going from that kind of three man pace attack in Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Abbas and Kurum Shahzad that they had in the side. So bringing in Raztula, who's coming in young fresh 90 mile hour, exciting and actually found the right line of length at times, bold relatively for, didn't like sometimes you can get sucked into a bit of a bounce of theory when you are that quick, but didn't do it. Really exciting for Pakistan going forward. Hopefully they don't break this fast boulder because they've got a bit of a history with breaking fast boulders. Nassim Shah Shaheen Shahi, just to name a couple in the last five, six years. So very exciting. Look forward to seeing him a lot more, but he's definitely made a difference to this Pakistan attack. Harry Brook finished the day 52, not out again, went through the gears.

9:14His first 40 runs came up basically around the ball and then he did slow down towards the end. He kind of saw that he needed to be there the next day, get to his 50 and then being able to push on and let's kind of finish this quickly. Let's beat them by an innings, let's score 300 in the first innings and we'll probably win by an innings that way. If not, we'll have to score 50 and chase it down with 10 weeks left. That's got to be the plan, Harry Brooker. I think that's probably what he wants to do. Concentrate on that Wipel series against Sri Lanka that comes up basically just after the test finishes. So I can see what his priorities are there. John Cox went for four kind of looking to be a little bit aggressive. Then Duckett again, trying to be aggressive out for 11. Few worries there. Duckett outside of that century hasn't been fantastic this summer. But he is the most recent England player to score a century. So I'm going to let him off because he, if you say, oh, we hasn't scored a century in a long time, then you have to drop everyone in the team. I don't want to do that.

10:14England massively ahead. I do think they'll score probably, even if they scored 250, they might still win by an innings. This Pakistan side has been miserable throughout. So we'll probably come back tomorrow and Pakistan going to be bold out again by the time I make the video for day two, possibly, possibly. You just don't know. They last hit 33 overs.
