Alleged beheading-murder charge; p-plater cheats death; nationwide tobacco sting

A former reality TV star, Tamika Chesser, has pleaded not guilty to the alleged beheading murder of her boyfriend in Port Lincoln, with her lawyer flagging a mental health defence. A 21-year-old p-plater crashed his Mitsubishi Lancer into a tree at Chandlers Hill, Adelaide, just after 7 am and was freed by emergency crews with only minor injuries. Australian Border Force has conducted coordinated raids on more than 100 Metro Petroleum service stations across Sydney, Victoria, the ACT, Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia as part of a major investigation into the alleged supply and distribution of illegal tobacco and vapes.
