Sl: Tomaž je sedel na trdem stolu v policijski postaji v Ljubljani.
En: Tomaž was sitting on a hard chair at the police station in Ljubljana.
Sl: Fluorescentne luči so mrzlo sijale po prostoru, v zraku pa je prijetno dišalo po sveže skuhani kavi.
En: The fluorescent lights coldly shone across the room, while the air was pleasantly scented with freshly brewed coffee.
Sl: Zunaj je bilo zgodnje pomladno jutro hladno, vendar obetajoče.
En: Outside, the early spring morning was cold, yet promising.
Sl: Pogledal je okoli in opazil ljudi, ki so hiteli sem ter tja.
En: He looked around and noticed people hurrying back and forth.
Sl: Vrata so se odprla in vstopila je Maja.
En: The door opened, and Maja entered.

Sl: Mogoče je ta kraj pravi začetek.
En: Maybe this place is the right beginning."
Sl: "Pogovor je med njima stekel gladko.

Sl: Delila sta si zgodbe o vsakdanjih dogodivščinah in pripetljajih.

Sl: Celo v nelagodju policijske postaje sta našla toplino.
