Two men have been stabbed in an anti-Semitic attack in London.

The victims aged 34 and 76 have been treated for stab wounds

and remain in a stable condition in hospital.

A 45-year-old attacker is in custody.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation.

Police Assistant Commissioner Lawrence Taylor says

a thorough investigation is underway.

And cancer terrorism policing are now leading the investigation.

I can also confirm that this has now formally been declared a terrorist incident.

The attack in the UK comes as the Royal Commission launched following

the Bondi Beach Terror attack is due to hand down an interim report.

The initial report from the Royal Commission into anti-Semitism

and social cohesion is expected to focus on policing and security failures

which may have contributed to the attack which killed 15 people

at a Hanukkah celebration.

Chinese oil companies will resume negotiating

on the export of jet fuel to Australia after shipment stalled

due to the Middle East conflict breaking out.

Aviation Fuel has been a key focus for Australia's foreign minister

as she visits a number of Asian countries.

Penny Wong didn't say when exports could ramp up,

but stressed it's an important first step.

I think that the shared nature of energy security

is a consistent message from Australia.

Some analysts believe another split among reserve bank board members

could save households from a third straight interest rate hike.

There's concern the RBA may lift rates on the back of new data

showing a large increase in inflation.

At the last meeting, five of the nine board members voted to raise rates.

Mark and Watcher Scott Phillips from the Motley Fools says

we could see the opposite next week.

But look, he did it last time.

Let's wait another six weeks and try again in a month and a half time.

That would save us for a rate rise.

I suspect that's kind of the machinations inside the RBA.

Given how tight last month's vote was.

A snapshot of the country's rental affordability has given a bleak outlook

for low income earners.

Anglicare Research shows none of the almost 50,000 property survey

was affordable for someone on youth allowance.

Just one affordable for someone on Jobseeker.

A new report shows Australians are spending on average $39 million a day

on illicit drugs.

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission data shows

the value of the illicit drugs market has risen to more than $14 billion a year.

Cocaine use spiking more than 20%.

And scientists say they're a step closer to understanding why people yawn.

A study has examined the human reflex often triggered by a tightness

boredom or seeing someone else yawning.

University of New South Wales professor Adam Martin says

yawning may play a role in moving fluids in and out of the brain.

But we don't actually really know why we yawn.

But with this fluid reorganization, we speculatively hypothesized

that it could be contributing to clearance of waste from the brain

as it is drawing some of this cerebral spinal fluid out.

In finance, $1.00 a dollar buying 71 US cents sport.

Panthers co-captain Isaiah Yo believes the Perth Bears need more help from the NRL.

While the PNG chiefs are celebrating the signing of Jerome Luai

for their debut season in 2028, the Bears are yet to land a marquee signing for next season.

Yo says the Bears shouldn't be forgotten among all the excitement.

There could be a side to it where you could be some more help for the Bears.

I think that four or five months out from starting their preseason probably

and I'd say they would have liked it to be a little bit smoother than what it's been.

Collingwood has made four changes.

For tonight's clash against Hawthorne at the MCG,

the Pies will be without Bo McCreary, Jeremy Howard, Tim Memory and Scott Pendlebury.

While Darcy Moore is among four inclusions,
