In Ukraine, President Vladimir Zelensky his signal keave is open to an Easter truce with

Russia, but the holiday celebrated on April 12th in both countries.

In today, Russian strikes killed at least eight people across Ukraine, including what officials

described as a massive missile and drone strike near the Capitol.

Charles Delaidesma has a report.

As part of the assault, a Russian strike seriously damaged and wrecked Rene Reeklinik

in the key region, killing animals.

The state's emergency service says.

Vitya provided by the service shows a damaged building and rescues trying to assist the

animals.

Unfortunately, despite all efforts, not everyone was saved.

The emergency service wrote on social media.

Ukrainian officials say Russia is increasingly striking the country during the day, an apparent

departure for months of nighttime barrage.
