I'm Ed Donahue with an AP News Minute. Apple is unveiling its latest generation of iPhones. The Apple event in Cupertino, California was headlined by new CEO John Ternas, who took over for Tim Cook at the beginning of the month. I have spent much of my life at this company. And I continue to be inspired every single day by the curiosity, invention, and relentless pursuit of excellence that define Apple. Ternas says the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max bring improvements to the battery, camera, and performance. There is also a new foldable iPhone. We started with the experience that we wanted for ourselves, a larger display that feels as natural and intuitive as iPad. Then we brought together thoughtful design with breakthrough engineering and a way only Apple can. Many of Apple's biggest rivals, including Samsung, Motorola, and Google, have already come out with foldable smartphones. But Apple is not one to rush on new technologies. I'm Ed Donahue.
