I'm Marcela Sanchez with an AP News Minute. Israel's Defense Minister says Israeli attacks on Iran quote will escalate and expand. Israel cats made the comment in a statement noting that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Net in Yahoo quote warned the Iranian terrorist regime to stop firing missiles at the civilian population in Israel. President Trump has again extended his self-imposed deadline that April 6th for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Trump says talks to in the war are going very well, but Iran continues to publicly insist it is not negotiating with the White House. Senators worked through the night on the deal that would fund much of the rest of the Homeland Security Department, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Coast Guard and TSA. It does not include funding for immigration and customs enforcement. Customs was funded, but border protection was not. The deal now goes to the House more information at apnews.com.
