I'm Marcela Sanchez with an AP News Minute. The House is considering whether to approve funds to pay transportation security administration agents and most other agencies after the Senate unanimously passed the measure earlier this morning. The deal does not include funding for immigration and customs enforcement, but the package puts no new limits on immigration enforcement, which has remained largely uninterrupted by the shutdown. California Governor Gavin Newsome has signed a bill renaming César Chavez Day as Farm Workers Day, aiming to reconcile the Latino labor icon's legacy with explosive sexual abuse allegations before the state holiday on March 31. Brazil's former president, Jair Bolsonaro, has been discharged from a hospital in Brazil and will continue serving his sentence at his home because of his poor health. Bolsonaro is serving a 27-year sentence after being convicted of attempting a coup to remain in office despite his 2022 electoral defeat. I'm Marcela Sanchez.
