The AFD classified by German as domestic intelligence agency as an extremist group fell just short of an outright majority in regional elections on Sunday. As unwieldy coalition talks begin, it may find a path to lead German as first far-right state government since the Nazi era. That would mark a watershed for Europe's biggest economy and potentially destabilize the national coalition government. What is worrying is the EU-FORN policy chief Kaya Callis. The threats are coming actually closer to Europe. We saw the attacks on LifeSync, suspected Russian acts, sabotage acts, and the threat really increasing in Europe. At the same time, the parties that are sort of blind to this threat and say that we should not do anything with this because it's not our concern, our gaining ground. I'm Ben Thomas.
