I'm Marcela Sanchez with an AP News Minute. Flight data suggests an Amazon cargo plane jet tried to abort an unsteady landing in Miami before a fatal crash. The Amazon cargo plane smashed into a van killing five people inside. National Transportation Safety Board Chairwoman Jennifer Hammondi says investigators are reviewing flight data and cockpit recordings and plan to interview the pilot and co-pilot to determine why the jet overran the runway while landing. We want to hear their account of the accident before we release a readout of the cockpit voice recorder. After hitting the van, the plane corined through a fence and smashed an SUV on a city street. Authorities say the five people killed were all inside a van used to shuttle crews that clean planes. Five others were injured. Two people remaining critical condition while a third is in stable condition. The other two have been released. I'm Mike Hempen. I'm Marcela Sanchez.
