I'm Marcela Sanchez with an AP News Minute. The Labor Department says US unemployment claims dipped to 206,000 last week and remain at historically low levels. A federal judge is allowing Missouri's top court to move forward with the contempt hearing and a tense legal battle over whether new congressional districts backed by President Trump can be used in the November election. The US and China are working on an agreement to lower import taxes. AP correspondent Donna Warder reports. A spokesman for the Chinese Commerce Ministry says negotiators are looking at reducing tariffs on $30 billion worth of goods. China's official Shenhua news agency says that amount would be for each country. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to meet in Washington in two weeks for what will be their third face to face talks in the past year. At their last meeting in May, they agreed to launch a US-China board of trade along with a board of investment. I'm Donna Warder and I'm Marcela Sanchez.
